Whoa! Survived the split!

Again....nite all!

Mits, do you think that menu is tongue-in-cheek? Can't imagine that he would really feed some of that stuff to the poor animals..,.argh! Can understand neighbors' concerns...sure they are MULTIPLE concerns....townhouse location is hardly a nature preserve!!

hedgie said...

G'nite, Lolly...and Jack!

hedgie said...

Heading for tub...will check back in before I hit the hay.

Mits said...

yes, Lynn, I do, and I would not like to live next to him, I would think the rodents would come around, can't imagine the neighbors, not putting up a stick about the stink.

Our dear Jo...what has she done?!
Those @#$*!! rugs! I hope she has been given something VERY strong for pain. And, I hope she is in a room and NOT in a hallway! Right, Sharon?

GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE

Mits said...

I know she is a night owl..hoot-hoot...I'm headed to bed soon too. I will let you all know when Ed calls me tomorrow about how Jo is doing. I know she does not like to speak on the phone, because it is so hard for her to hear, and I'm sure it is really hard for her to reach the phone, if she is in some kind of traction. So Ed has all my numbers, he is really good about calling. Good Night everyone. Dear Lord, watch over our Jo.

hedgie said...

Goodnight all. Thanks, Mits...will be anxious to hear what's happening in the morning. Prayers for all in need, but especially for our Jo.

magpie said...

My Prayers are in the Ring too, for Jo and family,
and my thanks to Hedgie for calling and leaving me a message so I wouldn't be blind-sided by the news...
Prayers for relief, comfort, and healing, and skilled hands and a loving touch from all the health care providers....

God Bless You, Jo and Family.

magpie said...

..And if OUR EGGLETS start hatching while Jo is in the hospital, we are going to make sure we get a laptop to her so she can enjoy it too...

magpie said...

Good prayers here -
love the verses from Psalm 55, Wanda

God Bless Us Every One, and especially our Jo and her family

And thanks to Paula for making sure we got the Jo "Sign-Off" xo

magpie said...

Deb I know you might be snoozing, but if not, or when not, check the BWO site page, and see where there was a Great Horned Owl at the platform Wednesday, with two pictures....

movin said...

Wow................. I'm really sorry to hear about Mema Jo's fall. I'll be praying for her too.

Guess you have seen the 'Gallery' at BWE. Their chicks are unusually cute already, and you can barely see them.

Been watching Pete's Pond a little... Impala, wart hogs and King Fishers so far. The water level is getting fairly low there; they should probably do a rain dance about now.

Will let you all know how it turns out. Appointment is at 9:30.

Good morning eagle friends. I will be lurking around today, in Falls Mills with mil today.

Prayers for our precious Mema Jo!!

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

Please don't shoot me! Mits would you send me the HI links again? I don't have them on this computer. I know I am a pain, sorry!!

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Ok, I just spoke with our Mema Jo. Here is the scoop.

Her tibia and fibula on her left leg is broken. They have a splint on it for right now. I asked if she was in pain and she said "no, they are giving me Percocet". :) They will enter under her kneecap and run a rod through her tibia. They are not going to repair the fibula. She sounded really good and told me to let you all know what was happening. Surgery is still scheduled at noon.

Ok, now I really am hitting the dusty trail. Will check in with my good news in a few hours! :)

floralgirl said...

Hey Sissy! Look at 10:27pm post- Deb put up the links for HI

wvgal_dana said...

THANKS SHARON for update on our sweet Mema Jo..Lord take care of and be the HANDS OF THE SURGEON.

Mauley said...

Many Many prayers for Mema Jo. I, too began my day with prayers for her. She first brought me into the fold (oh so graciously) and has kept me under her wing (as to speak). Mema, you have ministered to all of us some time or another and in the name of our precious Lord. We love you so much, and we know that God does little outside of prayer, and so we offer our prayers for you daily and hourly as you have done for us many times. God Bless You, dear Jo, today in the name of the Great Physician, our Healer, our Waymaker, and our Lord. mauley

Red said...

Good morning everyone. So sad to hear about our Mema Jo. Prayers are with her today and Sharon.

hedgie said...

Thanks for that update on Jo, Sharon. Did she sound loopy from the percocet? Can't believe they aren't giving her something IM...but maybe they are worried that morphine would depress her respiratory status worse. Don't remember whether Demerol has that effect or not. Bone pain is just so awful! Prayers continue for Jo, as well as for you for good news at UVA!

hedgie said...

Paula.....did you send the email about Jo to Steve and Randy?

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

Ok, got it, thanks ya'll. I will have that page bookmarked on every computer in the county sooner or later. Move around too much!!

Strollers and baby carriers are places where shoplifters would often stash stuff. They must think that the store security people don't know that, or won't stop them if they have a baby.

Good Morning Eagle ♀ and ♂ Friends.

Thanks Mits and Sharon for the updates on Jo...

Sharon should be getting her review now, and a little more time to go for Jo's operation. Strong prayers for all involved in everything that is going on, especially Sharon and Jo and the health care providers in charge of their healing.

magpie said...

The BWE babies and parents get a whole week of our attention, but when OUR little ones start pipping and popping....that just might change a little ☺ ♥

Hope everyone here has a good day in store, or as Paula would say, can MAKE a good day....

What address in my neighborhood, work or home address? ref the robbery suspects

The crime in this area is unbelievable. I am wondering if the Fertilizer Thief from the Southern States in Frederick MD from earlier this week has been found ??

magpie said...

I am going to try to cut and paste our well wishes to Jo onto a word document and send them to Jo...

Mits said...

just got a call from Miss Jo-Ellen, she sounds good just anxious for this to be done with, said she or Ed would call me later. No new baby yet said her GD was mad that Jo got to go to the hospital before she did, but everything is OK on that front...said she is pleased with the hospital treatment so far.

magpie said...

And we are heading towards a Quintiple Split...at least Jo does not have to fuss with that today...
Bless her Heart! What a calamity this is, she is such an active Momster. Now we can try to show her how well she has mentored to us ☺ ♥

floralgirl said...

Great, thanks, Helen. Can't you just picture her bossing the Drs and nurses around?? LOL... hope she doesn't have that eagle cane.

deb said...

Thanks for the info, Mits. Did Jo know how long she might have to be in the hospital??

Mits said...

magpie said...

H Ha good one Megan -

Mits said...

she is not sure Deb, could be as early as tomorrow night or Saturday, but MTBR on that.......trust me, Megan, she was bossing me around this a.m. She said they may use an epidural on her, instead of anesthesia

Mits said...

Jo's daughter just posted this on momster mail....

Hi all, it is Jenny, Mema's daughter. The surgery won't be till 7:30 this evening. They will be giving her a epideral and only putting her slightly under. They felt with her breathing this would be the best way to do surgery. She did break both of her bones in her shin. They will be bolting a rod into her leg. The surgery should take about 2 hours. They have her on pain medication now....morphine if she needs it so she is doing fine now. I will let you all know later tonight how everything goes, at the latest tomorrow morning. Hope to see you all soon. Jenny

hedgie said...

Movin' Jim, are you going to be the nest watcher tonight?? 35th day starts around 2am our time...what? 11pm yours??

hedgie said...

Poor Jo, all this waiting is for the birds! (No pun intended)
So glad they are doing the epidural...I was worried about it just for that reason. Thanks, Jenny. Hugs to all of you.
