Good morning again friends. I keep losing my internet connection here at Mrs. Riffe's and I think the cordless phone is interfering with the wireless connection. It is cable, so the phone shouldn't interfere with it. Maybe they are on the same frequency or something. I changed the phone frequency (or I think I did). Maybe that will help. Hard to work without internet.
Okay, now I am confused. I never knew there were two Finland sites. I always watch the one that has the sea eagles in it over the water. Is that not the same one ya'll watch Mits? Send me the link, would ya?
Good morning all! Time for a quick good morning, read the paper, and then clean and pack!
Pythons are multiplying in Florida and spreading across the south, that is why I am MOVING! I am thinking possibly a concrete wall around my property. Maybe that would work.
We just have small snakes here, Lolly. Well, I guess some of them can get pretty big, Rattle snakes and Bull snakes. Rattle snakes are only along the Missouri River and in western SD, though.
Oh, lovely, Dana. Now I will have nightmares of them hanging from my trees! Wildlife is attracted to our property because of the pond and stream. This is all I need.
Oh, we have lots of rattle snakes, though I have never seen one. Did hear one in Colorado once when hiking. Laurel and I both heard it and got out of there fast.
Saw a big snake in the wood pile last year, but it was a harmless one. And, I can handle big snakes, just not as big as pythons. They might eat my cat!
Good Eagle Morning Lynn---does you drivers license expire on your birthday like mine does?
Yes thank you Deb....that is why I want them to zoom in. It is nice seeing fly ins. But I want to see the chick. So I wish they would keep the cam closer on the nest.
The eagle camera does not have zoom capabilities. It will be difficult to see the eaglets once they hatch, until they are larger. You will notice different behavior on the part of the adults that will indicate that an egg has hatched.
• The video viewing screen cannot be enlarged.
• Daylight hours for viewing are variable and based on U.S. Naval Observatory official sunrise/sunset for Redding, CA
Mits I did read your information on Caltrans yesterday. Truly I did think that mean't that WE couldn't zoom in. Not think that they couldn't zoom in. Sorry me bad.
Mits I think I remember you saying something about "a glaze for your corn beef"? Is that right?
Caltran was just a fixed cam for the sake of the animal rights people, they did not want the construction so close to eagles so they had them put a cam up
yes Dana, I either put corned beef in crock pot or on the top of stove, but always finish off in oven with a glaze of yellow mustard, brown sugar and ground cloves...350° for 15 minutes
Well I guess we have to keep an eagle eye on OK & NBG for any hatches. I wonder why our other 2 didn't hatch. I Know the 1st egg maybe got a shock being laid after the gunshots that night.????Mystery on nature, We didn't have terrible weather either.
I also have an Uncle Red that lives in Lake Havasu City, AZ whose birthday is also today, and had a cousin, Rita (may she rest in peace) whose birthday was today. Rita had polio when she was little but she never let that slow her down.
