GOOD MORNING EVERYONE...
I'm so happy that we still have Live Feed this morning:)

Megan, you must have been doing the rain dance:) Not enough rain, but not too shabby.

Costume Lady said...

Hi, Sissy. Lots of sweetness to see today.

floralgirl said...

Yeah, Wanda, obviously my dancing needs some work....

Costume Lady said...

I've been sitting here for an hour and Belle is bound and determined to keep that chick hidden.

glo said...

Good morning everyone. Off to Staff meeting after coffee and dog treats. Only going to get to watch for short periods for much of the day.

Make it a good one.

Costume Lady said...

Don't get too good at your dancing, Megan. It's a known fact that NOAH was a great dancer;)

We had a tremendous thunderstorm roll through here last night. Power went out but only for a minute, enough to flip Mattie out. She got up and had candles all over the house. Bless her heart. She is in All County Choir today. She is so excited. What a kid!!

Costume Lady said...

Morning, Norma. Yes, another chick would be wonderful...we need a playmate for our baby.

normabyrd said...

MORNIN'--WANDA---& GLO (also know as TOTALLY NUTTY & SANITY RESTORED)!!!

Costume Lady said...

Didn't know Mattie was interested in singing...she'll have to sing for us the next time she visits us!
Yes, she is a sweet girl!

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

Yes, Wanda, she has a beautiful voice. Don't know where she gets it from. She has always been able to carry a tune, even when she was little bitty!!

Eagle-Eyed's Sissy said...

Rest of us can't carry a tune in a bucket!

normabyrd said...

OH YEAH!---WANDA---BELLE & LIB are both very good at keeping their actions hidden!!---ho!

Costume Lady said...

Sissy, when our grandaughter used to stay with us in the Summer, she would wish for a power outage everytime we had a storm, so that she could light candles. She was just about Matties age...must be something about that stage in their lives.

What is that whitish thing laying near the chest of the eagle on the eggs???

Mits said...

I have been to Chicago, several times for the St Pat's festivities....the river is the color green to begin with, but they dye it the day of the parade, which is always the Saturday before St Pat's day, we would go watch them dye the river, I have some great pics, then we would be off to the parties.

that white head is blinding:)

Tai saying Hi to Mom at the Howdy window

movin said...

I guess you know they mandated 'hands free' cell phoning in CA a couple of years ago, but they somehow overlooked texting ...duhhhh!!!

This year texting is also illegal. Personally, I don't see how anyone is still living if those crazy babes have been texting too!

I tried phoning in morning traffic years ago, but I could never keep my mind on two major things in heavy traffic, so I would wait till it came to a screeching halt, or I would pull over. Texting in our traffic here is absolutely insane!

I got the blue tooth stuff last year and I haven't hooked it up yet. I only seem to call in emergencies these days, or I wait till I get to a 'stopped place.'

I think the one on the eggs at OK is trying to be moved off they nest by brinning in a fish. That isn't working so the eagle is trying to step closer to one on eggs to move off. Well no go ....flew out.

Judging from all the ups n downs at Caltrans, I bet there's a hatch!!!

Mits said...

from Norfolk newspaper....

Any day now, eagle egg should hatch at Norfolk Botanical Garden

12:55 PM EDT on Tuesday, March 17, 2009

NORFOLK – It’s nearly hatching time for the first of three eagle eggs in the nest at Norfolk Botanical Garden.

It could happen as early as today, wildlife officials say.

Bald eagle eggs typically hatch 35 days after being laid and the first was in the nest on February 10.

In the past, this particular eagle pair has generally incubated their eggs for 37 days, which would put the first birth on March 19.

Their second egg was laid on February 13 and the third on February 17.

Once eaglets are born, mom and dad will be busy bringing them food and watching over them.

You can check on them, too, and watch their growth, on the WVEC.com Eagle Cam. It's running 24/7 and night viewing is possible with the help of an infrared light.

Mits said...

I just looked at Caltrans, everytime I go there eagle is down....:(
