unhappy Nestors now!
Thanks for the heads up Stephanie
& for the phone call, Sharon!
Thanks to all who made this happen!
And everyone knows who you are!
Thank you Steve and everyone at NCTC - WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is wonderful! Thank you, we will be patient for the sound to come on.
KEWL, thanks, Steven. And thanks for the new thread and the heads up, Sunny.
Man, now I'm not going to get any work done!! But THANK YOU Steve and NCTC!!!!
Egg roll - Live!!
OMG love that wiggle!!
Still rearranging and tucking in fluff and wiggling down on those precious eggs.
Thank you Steven for "a new thread with wonderful surprises attached to it"... Thank everyone involved at NCTC....Thank you!!! Like Jo said you know who you all are ( :
Tears for such a wonderful clear picture with a MOVING EAGLE IN OUR NEST hee hee
Every time we turn on the audio, it kills the video, thus we have the audio off for now.
Sounds like a crossed wire somewhere...
Hey if you hear some calling, kill the video...I want to hear them!
WOW WOW WOW LIVE FEED! Wonderful
Just finished reading over 800 posts...Hope that does not happen again! Can't handle that!
Thanks Suzanne for the photos, what adorable chicks, Sylvia and Sib!!! And a fish in the nest!
Mine is kind of black and white, is everyone else's or do I need to adjust something?? This is great!! I loved that wiggle, too, Paula.
Thank you Steven for keeping us up on the audio. I know your "guys" will get us audio I just know it!! ( :
This is the best we can do on the color right now.
Thanks, Steven, it is just fine like this. I wanted to be sure I didn't have to do something else.
Digging in the fluff again...
Steve = What are the hours for the live feed?
Both chicks at BWE showing...
WHERE????
You don't realize how much you can miss in the time it takes to refresh until you see it live.
Go to the main page for this blog...on the links section on the right, click on Video feed Info.
Steve - is there going to be a link on the main eagle cam page for the live video?
Got it and watched for a few seconds. NICE.... it's been a while.
Wahhhhhhhh I can't watch at work. It's a firable offense. BooHiss!
This is too funny - awful quiet in here....just like when you have a good supper on the table...everyone eats and no one is talking... :):)
This is just absolutely beautiful!
Time for me to head outta here. All have a great eagle/panda day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
Just when we get it, I have to go get oil changed. Hopefully I won't be gone long.
Okay brain is dead. I go to the eagle cam page and I can't find the link? HELP?
Jill, look under "links" It's the next to the last one
I must be doing something wrong. I'm not getting the live video.
Jill, I couldn't figure it out either, so I used a link towards the end of the last thread!
Go to the main page for this blog...on the links section on the right, click on Video feed Info.
bbl
Okay I was going to the main NCTC page where the 30 second camera is.
Thanks, I got it!! It looks great.
Looks good. Only differice I see is it is black and white. But truthfully what we saw was mostly brown and white. Don't really need color til the grass starts turning. LOL. And as Steve told us the resolution is a bit less because of the bandwidth issues etc. And the way the wind is blowing today, trust me you don't want audio. SHEW it is so noisy. And it seemed magnified by the microphone. I will wait for a calmer day for the audio.
Out of here for an appointment
Heck of a time to have to leave
BBILW
Your right Jill - not much color this time of year...only the eagles beak or some bloody prey!
Hey, can't wait to watch them eat!
Egg turning again!
I love seeing our eagle do the wobble back down on the eggs!
Sylvia and Sib have been alone for a little while.
Some snoozing going on....ooops was just a catnap...
HELLO EVERYONE, been having computer issues, I want it to work and it doesn't....but right now things are okie-dokie.....thanks NCTC FOR THE LIVE-FEED, so enjoy the eagle shuffle when laying back down. No storms here last night, just some heavy downpours...sunny, breezy and 55°
moving fluff around....off to look at BW
2 our nest!!
Doing some nestoration
Looks like one of them just came in with a small tree. I love getting to watch this live again.
Check out the white patch on Libs right shoulder also.
This is soooo wonderful. I'm in heaven....
2 at BWE
So, you are saying Lib is in front?
Lib just hanging with Belle now...
she is up off the eggs...
We are switching...and she is off to the right....
Lib getting down very carefully and doing the wiggle onto the eggs.
Oh, this is so great to watch. Belle was going to turn the nest over to Lib, but he took off.
eagle at KENT #2
Lolly, she got up off the eggs and left, and Lib is on them now
Okay, I missed the switch. So Lib is there now?
So great to see good parents. Wish BW was this way!
that fast eagle gone at KENT
CHICKS IN VIEW AT bw
I might have the eagles ID'd wrong, but there was a switch
I loved the way he flew in and started rearranging the nest! Gotta get it just right!
I was studying them, trying to learn which was which. So far no luck there. I will keep trying.
There is the reddish roof on teh building but other than that and a beak not much color out there right now. But that rain last night should have helped. My son's school and 2 others were out today because of no electric. Talked to Nilla, didn't affect her. Didn't get me either. But must have been close given where we both live in relationship to the schools.
Don't know if you guys have seen if but Lisa has posted an update. Father has brought in two fish. (Bout time)
This is addictive! Must leave to buy groceries.
Sure is....gotta go get some lunch myself...BBIALW
Goodevening everyone in Eagleland,,
What a surprise !!!! BEEN out of action for a few days, computer went belly up again,,,,

I'm putting washing out on the line in the garden and nearly faint,,,, what pops on my fence and just stays there,,a beautiful Lady Sparrowhawk, where she came from I just dont know as we live in the town and not in the countryside,, she is so beautful,,, mink brown and a wonderful banded white and brown breast with golden eyes WOW !!!
Then I come on here and we have the live feed,,, CAN THINGS GET ANY BETTER !!!!!!!!
THANK YOU STEVE !!!!
love and hugs
Chrissy
XXXXXXXXX
Belle & Lib seem so much more real when we get to watch them live. I forgot how much I love it!
Check out the shadows over horsie
I changed my photo (I hope) because this morning I saw that I had a few dwarf irises blooming near my house!
I am off to buy groceries too. Why is it those boys think I need to feed them???????? I have birds to watch.
I am so glad I can work and watch at the same time! Although, it is a little distracting! YA THINK!
Now we can really tell how deep in that egg cup they are laying, almost even with the back.
I know what you mean, Jill. Why does my boss think I have work to do. Doesn't he realize I need to watch an eagle nest?
Headlines: "GNP suddenly drops 11:00 AM, March 5, 2008. Gov't Accounting Dept has no explanation for the mysterious drop in productivity." Ha Ha...
Well apparently they need to allow for 50 minute breaks every hour to watch birds. LOL
Well, this is great!! Thanks to all who helped make the live feed possible:)
Just remember when one comes flying in it might be a bit scary. LOL I had another small screen up and Belle moved just enough that I could see it. STartled me.
EAGLETS IN VIEW AT BW
Eagle at Kent 1, eagle at LW.
What is that silly panda boy up to now, I think he's got antz in his pantz !!!
He really loves to play the fool doesn't he !!!!
I'm still thinking of coming to do a midnight sorte, and bring him here,, must remember the camoflage gear !!! Oh yes, I must remember Mei too, can't be without her either, bless her so.
love and hugs
Chrissy

Hello Everyone...
We are at a Rest Area in Louisana, about 40mi. from New Orleans.
I have returned from my appointment - nee to go out again but was close to home so I just had to get back for a few....... Carol Love your flowers - you had said there were some blooming at your house.
Anyone can tell that something is going on - I usually have many many more comments made during the length of time from the pc........ Your count is low today out there is Eagleland Must be something going on!!! WHoo HOo!
Love your pic Carol
That GNP dropped a long time ago....:)
Well, hello Wanda and Gene! hope your trip is going well. It is a sunny beautiful day here, and the live feed is now hooked up on the NCTC nest. We're watching Belle's feathers blowing in the wind.
Hey There Wanda & Capt Gene
Greetings!
2 chick at BW
LIVE FEED AT NCTC
What pc you on?
How is Gene's hand?
Searching at VA
HI, Wanda. Live feed and two babies at BWE!! Hope Gene's hands are doing better after your horrible wind troubles.
Howdy Wanda and Gene!!
Paula, your egg is adorable. Karla told me we have a baby at BWE. I am not even going to try to see if I can get sound, but I am sure you all are excited about it.
No chicks yet at NCTC
2 chicks at BWE :)
HELLO, Wanda, and Gene, so glad to hear from you, hope Gene's hand is doing better. was glad Karla got on the other day to keep us informed
Wanda, Kent eagles have returned, also!
Gene's fingers are doing better. I have to chance the bandages each night and put antiseptic on them. I am a good nurse. I give my patient a kiss when we are all done.
When are we expecting our first hatch? I have lost track of time.
Hey Wanda and Gene, hope your trip has gotten better after the first day. How is Gene's hand? Sure you would have made him go to the Dr. if it wasn't good. Glad I got back on here before goign to the store. LOL This time I am really really going
Oh Jo-we are watching live feed, no time to post. LOL
Hopefully this weekend or beginning of next week, Wanda.
Wanda and Gene, it is so good to hear from you. Can you tell we miss you a little bit! :) It has been exciting around here for a couple of days now!
Should be anytime now Wanda, the first hatch date Paula had on the poll was today. Personally I think it will be closer to the weekend.
Hey Deb, does it look like the Kent parents are going nest at the same sight?
Jill I knew that!
Wanda - I am looking for hatchings to start this weekend and be finished by the 15th.
**** I pray the cam and/or live feed does not go down over the weekend *****
Helen, I know you are feeling better now, but you still need to rest and take it easy.
Gene is ready to go, so I will say goodbye for now...Love you all...Later.....
Capt. Gene says hello to everyone.
Safe Journey :)
May the sun shine on you two all the way there and home again!
thanks, Wanda I am behaving myself:)
yes, Wanda, they are working on the nest. We can't see some of the work they are doing, but Loraine tells us they are doing quite a bit! Isn't it wonderful!
One more thing....the people down her talk really strange!!! LOL
BYE
One more thing....the people down her talk really strange!!! LOL
BYE
eagle on KENT branch, so glad to see them spending more time there.
Yes, Jo - I have a few dwarf irises blooming, as of this morning. They are in a sheltered area next to the house. I have had snow crocus blooming for about 3 weeks. (They are smaller than the regular crocus - but much much earlier.) I also have flower buds on my helleborus. So Spring is on its way. Of course, hatching eaglets is another sure sign of Spring!
Wanda shouldn't have ribbed the talk of the people down there because
it made her stutter lol
I wish she could come back & see it!
I want to believe it Carol!
I guess we turn clocks this weekend.
Boy it will still be light out around
7:00 pm...
Isn't this live feed just totally awesome!! I am so grateful to everybody responsible (takes a village I hear) for getting it up and running!

Jo - lol. If you are not used to those cajun accents, they do sound strange. I once drove to Boston with one of my sisters. We got lost and stopped to ask someone directions. He had a heavy Boston accent, which we were not prepared to hear. We listened to his whole explanation of how to get where we wanted to go, but were so mesmerized by his accent, that we didn't remember a thing he had said.
WildWatch Barn Owl Cam 1
Both Mr & Ms Owl are in the Hotel.
I haven't seen any hatchings yet in there.
WildWatch Barn Owl Cam 2
The new Mrs Owl is there protecting her new ones from being seen.
They must be able to clean the Hotel but not the new Mrs Owl's nest box.
WOW! Live feed! Great! Just a question though....it looks black and white?
Link won't work for me! And yes, I downloaded Real Player! ARGHHHH! I hate this bleep bleep computer! :-(
Hey Geula! Steve says "This is the best we can do on the color right now."
OMG! The live feed is working like a champ! Oooorah!!
ANNNDDD... Our fears about the BW eaglets starving have proven to be unfounded. They have large, half-eaten fish around again just like last year.
As Norma says, "Life is Good!" [:~)]
Jim
Helen, you are depressing me. I want that forecast!! We have made it up to 21, wind chill up to 5! Low tonight 15.
Thur: high 26, low 6
Friday: high 21, low 9
WildWatch Cam 1 Owl = it is frozen again........... on yesterday.
BBL
Sorry Deb, spring does come here faster....the cherry blossoms will be here in a few short weeks.
Thanks for the info.....I thought it was my computer...This is so exciting!
The egg cup looks deep, that's good.
Yes, Jim, our mother hen mentalities had us worrying for nothing.
Egg turning our nest. Wiggle, woggle back onto them.
We are having a very cold year here, compared to usual. The winter kill is going to be bad on the lakes here, sine they froze early and aren't melted yet. Not good!!
Well, personally I think the female had a little 'chat' with the male to straighten things out...
I'm going to say good night now...have a wonderful rest of the day, everyone!
Geula in Israel!!
Megan, I agree with that. We have to straighten these men out sometimes. :)
This live feed is so cool. Love seeing her getting comfy and fluffing up the nest. I'm going to need a computer outside so I can get something accomplished.
It takes a WOMAN to do the job!!!!!
GOOD NIGHT GEULA!
The live feed is working great :)
Did you all see the big stick blow out of the nest? Made her nestle a little deeper.
I got it figured out. Had to uninstall it and reinstall it but now it works and sooooo cool! Thanks Steve and NCTC! YOU ROCK!
Eagle was at kent 2, moved to Kent 1.
Babies are up exercizing at Tesoro :-) They are getting so big!
Nope, missed that
You have Tesoro up, Karen? Mine's down
Or are you talking about Cape Coral 1
Live - egg roll our nest...
Love those live egg rolls! :)
WOW!!!!! I saw in school that the live feed was on so I hurried right home to see for myself. Hoooraaayyyy. Thanks so much Steve and the gang. There are many people made very happy today. UNBELIEVEABLE.
I am also sitting here watching the two little bobble heads in the BWE nest. How precious. AND now there are two!
Paula, I have Tesoro open.
/Saw where you all heard from Wanda and Gene. So glad to hear they are still safe and sound. I hope the rest of their trip goes just as well. BTW what happened to Gene's hand?
Candy shortly after Gene and Wanda left here, the wind tore the canopy off the RV, in trying to fix it Gene hurt his hand. They had to stop in Chatanooga and have the canopy fixed. I believe it was Chatanooga, somewhere anyway.
It is getting cooler here as the day wears on.
MEGAN-Just take the kids laptop out with you. LOL
Thanks, Deb - don't know what the Tesoro issue is here...that's OK, been watching the CC cams and our cam more anyhow...
Thanks for the info on Gene JILL. I hadn't read that anywhere. Well hopefully that will be the last of their bad luck and the rest of the trip will go smoothly.
One of their daughters came on Sunday I think it was and told us. Yes I hope they have a much smoother trip. I think they only made it to Mt. Jackson VA. before it happened.
Finally got back
Oh our live feed looks so inspiring ( :
Have to read comments
See 2 chicklets at BWE ( :
CHICK ON VIEW AT BW
NEXT REFRESH PARENT IS BACK
Liberty just left. Belle must be on her way!
And there she is!!
how cool is that waddle???
I got to see my first fly-in in Live Mode. That was really fun. I missed the fly-out, wasn't in the room.
Love that waddle!
the really are good at his parenting stuff, aren't they???
Yes your right Mits we have "super parents for our eaglets" !!
They are definitely on the ball, one off, one right back on.
I have been looking for a date when the herons will lay their eggs. So far this is the closest I have come:
The colony of Great Blue Herons that nest in Kiwanis Ravine is the inspiration for Heron Habitat Helpers' work. Year after year, the herons return to their nests in February and spend several weeks in courtship to select a mate for the season. The female typically lays three to five eggs, which both parents alternate incubating for about 28 days. Heron chicks typically fledge in two months, usually in June or July. However, young from late nests may not fledge until late summer.
Mits I am so so glad you had healed enough. So that you were starting to be at computer more. Who knew today would be the day. Great that you can be here. So happy for you ( :
You sure can tell that is Belle on the nest now...
Seems easier with the live feed....and I guess it is, since you can actually see the switches.
Sharon is that Dad on the nest at BWE? I see a white spot....
What a gorgeous site is on my laptop She is the most Beautiful Eagle and she sits there in such splendor. Thanks Steve and all who helped to get the live feed up and running. Its just a few days now til what is wonderful becomes truly awesome!!!
thank you Dana, I've been looking forward to our hatches since last year like everyone else:) I just realized it has been a month today since surgery.....woo-hoo!
Sounds like the Herons will lay eggs in March
Look at the wind blowing her feathers...
oh, what? no fair... I had to run to the school and missed the fly in. And for some reason my router keeps interfering with my internet connection.
Dana, I can't see good enough right now to tell.
Did Steve ever say what the hours of the live feed is going to be?
thanks Deb for the info
feeding at BW
I would propose 12 midnight to 12 midnight. What do you all think? :)
Feeding at BWE
pray tell, hoping it is 24/7
I'm greedy:)
24 hours a day works for me...
that 1st born is getting a beakful
When Paula ask him he never gave an answer as to the hours of live feed.
Exactly, Dana. I'll take 24/7 also
I vote for 24/7 also!!
Paula just wanted to let you know I got Tesoro up just now.
I agree 24/7. By the time some of us go to bed, Suzanne is already watching from work so basically we are here 24/7. Steve didn't mention hours to us when we saw him. I think he would have left a note saying they hours if they weren't 24/7. He knows if he didn't he would have 500 emails when he came back tomorrow asking what happened. LOL
majority rules!!
there it is unanimous(sp)
I now declare it to be a law. See how easy it is to get things done?
we are sooooo diplomatic, aren't we??
Splitsville coming up soon!
now watch Steven come in and burst our bubble!!!
And you spelled unanimous right! :)
No bubble bursting allowed on this site! If it hasn't been a rule, it is now for live cam being 24/7.
no kidding it didn't look right, but spell check said it was, I didn't believe it
Look I know some of the other sites. The coloring might be better. But there is nothing prettier and any more awesome. Than looking at our NEST and seeing Liberty, Belle, and eggs to hatach ( :
They can have plenty of time to fix color and get the audio straightened out. We are in HEAVEN with our "live feed" !!
Kewl - I went back and found the switch....that's the one thing I love about real player...
extreme birdfeeding Did you guys ever see this site? has some great pictures and will have a cam eventually.
