ANd heeeere's tiny!! He finally got up, oops, he's down again. Ok, there he is, still at the back of the bunch, boy is he getting pushed around this am.

Tiny got plenty to eat. He made a move to the left side, and got into the front row!
Good morning everyone. No Suzanne in here. Is she busy or day off? Hope all is well with her. Keep an eye on Tesoro now. They have cam pulled way back, beautiful sillouette for watching a fldeging. Sure wish they had some branches near by though. PH should also hatchor maybe will even be greeted with peeps when that cam comes on today.

Hello Paula, Glo, Dana and Norma. Hey Norma, did you try opening your real player and clicking on file- the cam address should be listed there and if you click on it it may open for you. That is how I have opened my live feed cam. I can't open any of the other FWS sites.
They had the camera pulled back yesterday also on the Tesoro eaglets. That way we can watch for a fledge.

Oh boy Indiana Dave I bet your having a ball with the eagles so close to watch. Just keep looking for those little bobbing pop-up heads. Keep us informed.

Hi everybody. Have a sec and was checking cams. The Kestral cam has 2 eggs!!! There weren't any Friday when I left, and now we have 2. How cool is that.
Turkeys are still hanging out in PA, and guess mom falcon is on her eggs. Haven't seen eggs, so don't know if she has 3 now or not. Well, yes she does, just read the site update.
Oh, and both mom and dad are home in our nest!
Belle just got off chicks. She went to this end of nest got fish in talcons and the chicks are going crazy. Belle is over at 1 o'clock with fish. Liberty was at 11 o'clock now moved to 9 o'clock and sitting there. Belle is now starting to feed chicks.
One just did a poop shoot and just missed Liberty...lol
Belle just got a poop shoot in the face! YUCK! Just shook her head! :)
EWWW!! just one of the hazards of being an eagle parent.
Or Liberty got the poop shoot, not sure which one, whoever is standing closest to the camera. I saw it coming and tried to tell him/her to move but wouldn't listen to me!
Okay who is sitting on Little Bit???
I see Little Bit now. Two bigger ones are facing Belle to be fed. Little Bit is in the back of them. Facing wrong way. Maybe he is being smart and staying out of the way until 2 bigger ones get fed. That way he won't get pecked.
Liberty just flew out of nest. Belle is still feeding.

Paula if you would have seen when Liberty flew in the size compared to who was on the nest. That would be Liberty I believe on the nest now.
Well we just had a fly in and it was Belle. Liberty just got up off chicks.
Hi Deb and MAuley. Mauley,Don't worry about tiny, he's doing ok, getting good at moving around others for bites, once he gets out from under them.

My cam froze so I didn't see the fly out. I think that is Belle on the nest now. Have to wait till she/he gets up or the other flys in.
Belle has some loose white feathers I think it is on the right side in back near tail. Don't know what happened but she has had them for 2 or 3 days now.

Ok Belle just flew in and both her and Liberty are following something moving above them.
I'm not sure what happened to Norma, think she is frustrated cause she can't get the cam going, I sure understand that, been there. That's why I was trying to help her figure out how to get the live feed up.

Suzanne, it is funny how dark the babies look when the night vision camera is working... in the daytime they don't look nearly so dark.

Hey all, checking in again. I see our Tesoro eaglet has flown the coop. He's (or She's) in the nest tree way up in the branches. One in the nest keeps looking up. Sigh..... guess the kids are getting big...

Oh my goodness up in the top of the tree....ok well remember it was "spunky that went to a limb and we said that is not fledging lol that is limbing" lol....I think it is Tess (Birdie) with the tracker on up there.

AHA! There you are Norma, so that worked for you? Always remeber you can usually access live feed from real player files. It's the only way I can get the live feed up now. Last load of laundry is done, no excuse to stay inside, off to work. Happy eagle viewing all, sounds like its a good day for it.
I wish whoever has been writing Tesoro would ask them to move the cam so we can see the top of the nest tree and the nest. Who/which one of our Momsters has been doing that?

I see Lisa beat me to the punch posting a link to my new photos at BWO. I finished processing them late last night and everyone here was saying good night so I figured I'd wait till today.
Sometimes when I'm watching through the viewfinder I don't see the big picture. The thing that bothers me after reviewing the shots is there appears to be some contention in at least two instances of one osprey chasing off a second one. I couldn't really tell if this was the pair or a third osprey was involved.
I'm off to a meeting. WIll be back in a few.

Suzanne, for some reason the infra-red light makes the chicks look dark at night, iy was funny last night, the chicks were under Belle and kept lifting her til she finally got up and let them sleep outside the nest cup

That's funny, Helen. It just looked like a very comfy fuzzy blanket when I turned the cam on this morning. And she kept adjusting it to suit her, it looked like. Guess she was getting them all comfy! But she used it like a pillow, half a blanket you would lay on, whatever. Sure didn't know it was the KIDS!!!! That's funny.
That Tesoro eaglet is on that dead tree and wondering how to get back. The one on the nest keeps giving it tries like s/he wants to go to the tree too. Cam is too far away, can't tell who fledged, Birdie or Bogie.

Mits mits LOL...I hear ya. Been frustratign with this Tesoro cam stuff at times but Tess and Oro are wonderful.

Paula, did I glance and see you said that was an adult in the snag? I think you're right, cause you can almost see the tail feathers of the one that flew up to the branches in the nest tree. Depends on how the wind blows.
Norma, like your comment about the goose that thinks she's an osprey! That may be truer than you think, and that may turn out to be a goose nest! That's funny!

Glo, they have frustating me, since they would not let us see the banding. Shame on them:) Maybe Brian Williams will get the 1st interview with the eaglets of how it felt to fly for the 1st time.

I still feel that in the top of the nest tree is not an eaglet but a parent EAGLE. I see a white tail. The one that was in the tree to the right had NO white on head or tail....I believe it was an EAGLET that FLEDGED. ok I could be wrong this is just my opinion...

Went birding on Sat. and saw a whole lot of ducks and bunches of that "rare" Canada goose. Others were heading to view eagle nests, but our time ran out--it will be there next time.
Bluebirds and robins are back, but the junco still here so I guess it isn't really spring yet.
Will check in and out, as usual.

Ok Maine Discussion Board just let me know that the white in top of nest tree is a "spot on the cam lens"....so JMO is NOT RIGHT...Eaglet was in the top of nest tree NEVER FLEDGED TO TREE TO RIGHT. Eaglet is now in nest with other eaglet.

Jo - I'm a little worried about those BWO photos. There are two instances of one osprey chasing off another one. Everything happened so fast (a total of 18 minutes elapsed between the first and last photos) I couldn't tell if all this action was just a pair of if a third osprey was involved. Hopefully it is just normal mating/nesting behavior.

Good morning :-) May be having a hatching at PH today. Dad was just being very watchful of one of the eggs. Would sit on it then be up and looking at it intently. Keep your fingers crossed! :-)

Hi all. Bye all. That's getting to be a habit. Be glad when it slows down a bit here! See Belle is hanging out with the kids, bless her heart! Both eaglets are in Tesoro nest, and parent just flew in, what an awesome sight that was to see!!! Wow. Female (I think) osprey still hanging out protecting the nest. Glad to see them finally take the nest!
Time for me to hit the road. Hopefully blog tomorrow. Everyone have a great eagle/panda day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
