Hi Gang! I didn't get a chance to say anything this morning, but I did peek in and see the good news! Y I P P E E ! ! ! again! Little Paddy is hanging tough!
The best time to spot all 3 heads is when they are being fed. Lib & Belle seem to have a system going so that they all get their fair share-teaches them patience. Then when they are teenie-boppers Watch Out! Food Fights and Mantling big time.
Been gone since early this morning. So glad to be back here with my friends on the computer. Although I did enjoy the one stop. Had to pick up hubby's granddaughter and greatgrandson 2 months old. I just love being around them. He is so sweet and cuddley.
Deb No problem - You have the ability to 'delete' Click the picture frame box (X) then go to the bottom and click on "delete". I'll check it out later to see if it worked for you - if not I will delete
MsInBetween was hatched 3 days after Bigboy was hatched. Made it ok...I know this is the 3rd one...it will make it "Lucky" one has to ... probably a rainbow was over the nest this morning when it hatched ( :
Howdy.. Boy those 2 older eaglets in our nest sure are fighting... The one was peckin the other on back of head.. so funnyyy... Fiesty & Scrapy were going at it...Looks like abigger one is setting on Irish..( my names for them) I was watching the tug of war with the stick at Norfolk too.. Beautiful colors on the cam so clear...Omg look at them fighting in our nest...
Dana i did see the one eagle at Norfolk i never saw before it was rubbin it beak on the large branch at the back... Looks like the barks wore off.. Cleaning and sharping it i wonder? Semed to be enjoying doing it...
They have talked about that before when there was 3 eggs there. About the eagles picking the bark off. I don't know why. Other than cleaning their beak maybe??? Who knows???
Back on babies now.. Boy they sure are scrapy lil devils.. Irish will need to be really strong to survive againist the odds... Going out for dinner...BBL
Dana i went out to new Wal Mart its nice but i guess im use to ours here in town... Hey "Shamrock" or "Leprechaun" {SP) is good names or Mits mentioned Bailey's ..Lol bbl
I read somewhere that in captivity they have to file their beaks or they will get too long. I imagine in the wild they take care of it themselve. Not sure where I read that. Probably helps to keep them sharp for feeding too.
Positive thinking here AJ......Our 3rd one for 2006 was little and it gave him "spunk"...Think positive thoughts. Each time you think it...say a prayer for the little one. OK ? ( :
I hope it is not just my imagination, but it seems like Lib (or Belle?) at the last feeding a few minutes ago, was making sure the little one was getting food. By the way, I vote for Shamrock for one born today. We can call him Rocky for short, and he will be tougher....hahahaha
Hi to evening viewers! If you get a chance to see the "Bobbles" getting fed, you may be able to see all three. Not easy all the time, tho. BTW,think there is also part of the big fish at the dinner table.
Well, I am checking out the cam from Beverly's wireless cell phone connection. Pretty neat. Didn't get to see all three babies yet though. Hopefully, my internet will be back up before morning so I can work tomorrow and see these precious 3 babies. I have been missing you all today.

Alright You Momsters! I am calling it a day. Hoping to talk with you tomorrow... I didn't hear that anyone found the Pot O' Gold today! Good Night my Eagle Buddies Peace to you & yours Prayers being said for all our needs
Howdy Folks its after 1am and i was watching the owl nest on Kent Moma owl is setting on her babes and the male owl came in and jumped on her and did the hankey pankey... Poor lil ones head was sqwished out under mom dang!!! No Jill i dont have aman... I went to Ryans for dinner and to take diapers n wipes to Jenny for Jazzy ...All is quiet at our nest.. Jill did you put Gonzales in the pokey? Does Martinsburg have drunks??? Nooo way..lol Well im watching Nancy Grace and watching cams...
Apparently all the drunks in Martinsburg were walking tonight. No Luis wasn't mine. Not sure what he did. Forgot to check when I was there. Nobody mentioned him. I wonder if that wasn't a mistake. There were no signs of an arrest other than mine when I got there. Sometimes the jail types in the wrong arresting agency.
Maybe she got a complex from the attacks of that intruder female, or I don't know what..
As soon as it gets dark, she's up and standing over the egg instead of setting on it and incubating it.
He and she both were setting on it in the daylight, but this is the second night in a row with no real incubation in the night.
It apparently is not as important soon after the eggs are laid, so it might still be viable. I just hope she gets over her thing by the time the egg needs her to be setting instead of standing.
Good morning, world. Good morning, Jim if you're still up. I was here watching when the 3rd chick hatched yesterday. Very cool indeed. Thought at first one of the other chicks was sitting on the egg, but then out came chick number 3! Just way too cool. Nice out, sorta. Some spritzers, but not much. 44° in PA, 46° here in VA, but we're supposed to get some rain or snow later this morning. Ugh. I'm ready for Spring! We have a sleepng eagle, and man, there are quite a few fish in that nest! Those chicks sure aren't gonna go hungry! Lady BW (looks like) is also sleeping. And as I typed that, she woke up and is checking the kids. All have a great eagle/panda day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
Oh, Jim, the time yesterday for hatching of chick #3...we saw him first when mom got up to feed the others at 6:51, and he was finished getting out of the egg at 6:56, sorta popped out of the last half of the egg.
Our eagle has been up and fussing with the kids for a while. But have to say the 30 second cam is now the 3 minute cam. Seems it loses 30 seconds a day now, along with the clock which loses about a minute a day. BW has been awake and checking kids, but sleeping now. Our eagle is looking around. BBIAW...
My Real Player had been doing the start and stop thing all along and I just tested the connection and I didn't have it set right. Changed the settings and now it is running beautiful. I hope it stays that way.
Morning Suzanne and Sharon.40° and slight breeze here this morning. Some rain around us, but not doing anything here yet. My realplayer runs slower than it did awhen the live feed first came on, I just assume it's cause so many people are watching the feed. I don't try to change anything, cause I'm afraid I'll mess it up and lose my live feed pic.
Eagle standing on side of nest in NBG, and our eagle just woke up again. NBG said they have an egg, but eagle isn't on it, and I don't see an eagle in the nest. Haven't seen any one in Maine this morning, but the water there is very rough. Lady BW still snoozing.
GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING TO SUZANNE, SHARON AND MEGAN AND ALL OTHERS TO GET ON THE BLOG TODAY. I finally had the time to check the blog late yesterday to see what I had missed, THREE BOBBLEHEADS!. How excited was to get a glimpse of the 30 sec cam for a minute at school!
Haven't much time this morning, but just wanted to check in on the festivities of our new family with all the members.
JO OUR KINDERGARTENERS found their pot of gold candy coins and went crazy following the green sparkle trail from the crack in the window to the trap. The leprechaun also left them a note which excited them more and some green spearment candy leaves, plus "real" gold coins. That did it for the rest of the day. They were all hyped up and that was how the day continued to go. They might not have found the real gold, but to them it was wonderful. >)
Will be checking the cam today at school when I get a chance. Still can't get on the blog. You all have a SUPER day and keep blogging to I can catch up on all the news, Lator gaters.
Hello Candy:) NBG eagle is acting odd, they laid on egg thru the today, but at night she seems to sit up as you said. Not sure what's going on there. I did see what looked like an egg roll yesterday.
Hi Candy! Sounds like your kids had a blast with the Leprechaun and goodies at school. Take care and have a great day! Megan, I looked at their pics, and seems she was doing an egg roll too, but couldn't see the egg. She's on the nest now. Guess time will tell for sure.
Good morning Rocking C- NBG is Norfolk botanical gardens. They have an eagle cam, you must have a high speed connection to watch it. http://www.wvec.com/cams/eagle.html

Hi Mits.
Hi Gang! I didn't get a chance to say anything this morning, but I did peek in and see the good news! Y I P P E E ! ! ! again! Little Paddy is hanging tough!
Hey Donna:)
I'm having corned beef for dinner. What on earth are those eagles eating this time? Is that the Easter bunny's cousin?
we think it is a medley of fish and game, Sunny
THREE Bobbles getting fed!!!!
Saved the pic off 30 sec. cam.
Nothing I like better than watching a Live Feed Feeding!
It's been hard to see 3, so far.
Tiny was in the back this time, but could really see all three this time. (Of course I'm not sitting here all day!)
Good Afternoon, everyone!
Goodness, I've been working on our taxes and watching feedings...got nothing else done today - except cooking the corned beef of course!!!
Good afternoon Mauley, Naturenut, Mits, Sunny and Jo. ( :
I see the 3rd egg hatched whippeppepepeeeeeeee ( :
St. Patricks day buffet on the table I see lol
The best time to spot all 3 heads is when they are being fed. Lib & Belle seem to have a system going so that they all get their fair share-teaches them patience. Then when they are teenie-boppers Watch Out! Food Fights and Mantling big time.
It is sure fun to watch those three bobbing heads, sibling rivalry and all.
Been gone since early this morning. So glad to be back here with my friends on the computer. Although I did enjoy the one stop. Had to pick up hubby's granddaughter and greatgrandson 2 months old. I just love being around them. He is so sweet and cuddley.
I don't know how I did it, but I posted a picture twice in the photo album. Can you delete the extra one for me, Jo or Paula?
Eagle in Maine -
Thanks, Steve!!
Hi Dana - I'm happy that you are now accounted for! Thought you were out chasing leprechauns looking for the pot o' gold!
You know how hard it was for me to finally correctly spell "leprechaun"
Candy was the Kindergarten's leprechaun today. I hope she had fun and didn't leave any pinch marks on those little ones! lol
Thanks for heads up on that last feeding - best view of the day!
Awww baby got some food on that last feeding!
Deb No problem - You have the ability to 'delete' Click the picture frame box (X) then go to the bottom and click on "delete". I'll check it out later to see if it worked for you - if not I will delete
JoI wished I had found a pot of gold...wow you would see my grin from here to Winchester and back lol
It doesn't work, Jo. In the directions it said I could only delete a picture if I created the album. Thanks for when you do it!
MsInBetween was hatched 3 days after Bigboy was hatched. Made it ok...I know this is the 3rd one...it will make it "Lucky" one has to ... probably a rainbow was over the nest this morning when it hatched ( :
For a minute there, i had a St. Patrick's Day live screen. It went all funny colors of green!
Heading home...but be back much later....going to eat subs at son's house for dinner...
See you Paula when you get back with us.
I hear the eagle at Maine it left the nest awhile ago.
NBG eagle at nest sitting up.
GUESS WHAT??????? Our eagle is keeping 3 chicks warm ( : ( : (:
Feeding time our nest.
One eagle got off nest at NBG and flew off. Now the one that brought in the stick just flew off.
Parent back at NBG not sitting or laying in nest cup though.
Howdy.. Boy those 2 older eaglets in our nest sure are fighting... The one was peckin the other on back of head.. so funnyyy... Eagle at NBG moving fluff into egg cutp.
Lots of feeding going on at our nest. Everyone gets to eat. The 2 oldest fighting with each other. That's ok then little one gets to eat.
Hi Nilla ( :
Cutest little 3 chicks awww does the heart good to see all 3 ( :

Oh yummy Nilla.....wait I coming tooo lol lol
i have 2 macaws they do that to keep their nails and beak trimmed maybe eagles do the same thing
Dana i went out to new Wal Mart its nice but i guess im use to ours here in town... Hey "Shamrock" or "Leprechaun" {SP) is good names or Mits mentioned Bailey's ..Lol bbl

That eagle at NBG acts like something is out there flying around.
I read somewhere that in captivity they have to file their beaks or they will get too long. I imagine in the wild they take care of it themselve. Not sure where I read that. Probably helps to keep them sharp for feeding too.
Sounds good to me AJ because I don't think they are eating that bark.
I've seen the eagles do it on limbs and sticks. First time on bark.
Hi Jill .....Jill Nilla is leaving you and me behind and going out to eat. Now what do you think about that? lol
i hope the bigger eaglets dont kil the little one
Positive thinking here AJ......Our 3rd one for 2006 was little and it gave him "spunk"...Think positive thoughts. Each time you think it...say a prayer for the little one. OK ? ( :
oh i will ,yes poor spunky had it bad for a while
AJ he was little but he even learn to steal food from the other two bigger ones. He got really good at it.
yes he did i watched them every day, i bet this one will be little for a while also take it time to catch uo
have to go now bbl
I hope it is not just my imagination, but it seems like Lib (or Belle?) at the last feeding a few minutes ago, was making sure the little one was getting food. By the way, I vote for Shamrock for one born today. We can call him Rocky for short, and he will be tougher....hahahaha
Genie
family feeding at our nest
I like that name, Genie:)
Hi, Mits. Glad you like name. Can you tell what is being "cleaned" at the nest. Sure working hard at it.
Genie
HAPPY ST PAT'S DAY EVERYONE!! THANKS FOR THE WONDERFUL BLOG TODAY!! SO EXCITING TO HEAR ABOUT THE 3RD BABY!!!
WE ARE BUILDING OUR NEW HOUSE!! WE LEFT OUT THIS AM AT ABOUT 6:30 AM SO I MISSED ALL OF THE EXCITEMENT!!!
I LIKE SHAMROCK, TOO!
Just finished our corned beef & cabbage.
Looks like dinner in the nest is the poor furry critter--prob squirrel.
I think the carp is finnaly gone, now working on the mystery meat (rabbit/squirrel)???
Hi to evening viewers! If you get a chance to see the "Bobbles" getting fed, you may be able to see all three. Not easy all the time, tho.
BTW,think there is also part of the big fish at the dinner table.
Both eagles in LW. Is that Belle eating the mystery meat?
I like Shamrock, too. I am already worried about him. I am attached to him already. He really needs a Saint Paddy's day name.
I like that name too, Donna...as Genie says, we can call him Rocky for a nickname
Well, I am checking out the cam from Beverly's wireless cell phone connection. Pretty neat. Didn't get to see all three babies yet though. Hopefully, my internet will be back up before morning so I can work tomorrow and see these precious 3 babies. I have been missing you all today.
Back again..Night light is on and Spidey's web is blowing in the wind.
Looks as though the forecast for Tue & Wed is going to be a little wet..
SHARON Your Jefferson Cam is on..... Maybe your internet is up??
Yes, I am back!! I saw Deb's pic of the 3 babies. How precious they are.
I see Liberty is still bringing in more food for his ever-growing family!

I wonder if it is both of the eagles, keeping me going on where the heck they are??
That fast it went from 2 to 1 Deb
Kent 1. Cali hooties are alone.
Deb do you have the auto-loading link for KENT, where you see all 3 cams at once?

Our eagle has been up and fussing with the kids for a while. But have to say the 30 second cam is now the 3 minute cam. Seems it loses 30 seconds a day now, along with the clock which loses about a minute a day.
BW has been awake and checking kids, but sleeping now. Our eagle is looking around.
BBIAW...
Up again, head in bowl! Kids must be getting hungry and letting her know it!
Good morning everybody, or at least Suz!!
My Real Player had been doing the start and stop thing all along and I just tested the connection and I didn't have it set right. Changed the settings and now it is running beautiful. I hope it stays that way.
Morning, Sharon. Glad you have your RealPlayer fixed.
Megan, this just tests your connection and sets it to the right bandwidth.
Eagle standing on side of nest in NBG, and our eagle just woke up again. NBG said they have an egg, but eagle isn't on it, and I don't see an eagle in the nest. Haven't seen any one in Maine this morning, but the water there is very rough. Lady BW still snoozing.
Morning, Megan! Had some showers coming down, but not doing anything here yet.

Exactly Sharon, and as long as mine is running, I ain't fooling with it.
Can you guys see the little black spots on the BW babies? Guess they're either dirty, or getting darker feathers already. Little cuties!
