It was the idea that all of us were going to storm the gate at NCTC. They ran right over and fixed it.
May have been the guy that we were told about Monday. He comes in on the weekennds to check the eagles. Maybe he fixed it.

I've got a flock of about 45 cedar waxwings out back, they must've blown in with the storm. They are swarming the holly trees, and the mockingbird is going nuts trying to get rid of them.

DANA-Went to Walmart. Not much of a craft section. No material at all, no scrapbooking and very little else. But it is a nice store. Layed out different that Martinsburg. Oh and they amazingly had the watch batteries, the Martinsburg store has been telling me they could get. HUMMMM Maybe the should go to Spring Mlls. LOL

My Bday is officially over (it's 12:45 am here) and I'm pleased that the Live Cam is back and the blog is up. I was kinda concerned before that we'd miss something!
Worked in the yard all day. I have a to-do to go to tonight.I used my new lawn mower and it does a great job. My knee is killing me but oh well. My yard is bursting with color and the birds are everywhere. I love spring. yes I got a bit of a sunburn.

Attempted to attach my eagle pics to the blog email window & they were reversed, so had to put them on last to first. But when I previewed & tried to go back to Send, everything disappeared! Not a good techie day! Will hunt & peck again. Have to be as patient as the eagles on nests.

Naturenut, I have had the same live feed problem. I usually overcome it by shutting down realplayer then going to the live feed link, copy the link and then back to realplayer and paste it.
Nature- blogger has been a booger today for sure - everyone had problems posting earlier. What kind of browser are you using? Some people have issues with real player when using something besides IE.

Have FIOS, so access our AOL & get online now thru IE. Jill, I do open Real Player by itself and typed in the link, under File. Last night I sent a note to NCTC. Maybe their techies have an idea. Thx for help all :-)

Nature...I had a problem at the beginning after reinstalling Real Player. Had to download Quick Time, also, and now no problems :-)
There was also a recall of Aunt Jemima's' pancake mix this week also, suspected salmonella.

You should also check the dates on your pancake mixes, cake mixes, etc. If outdated THROW THEM OUT! They can grow a mold in them that can be toxic!

We've finished Part 2 of our Gallery and opened Part 3. Included are photos of both eaglets' hatchings.
I don't know, Jo. the clearest picture I saw was last night with the raccoons by the deer.
I wonder if it was the deer with the bad leg???
I guess I have not been checking too much lately - but I haven't seen very many deer on the cam.

Hooray, hooray, was finally able to post my eagle pics & this time they attached in order. Hope you can see them!!! Guess it was the loggy blogger this PM, causing all the trouble. It IS showing THREE labels, tho--there's only one. Hope to get more pics in the future--just have to be there at the right time.
Hopefully tomorrow, I can post my osprey story.

BWE is not Blackwater, right? I've got lots of other cams in My Favorites, but can't find that one.
Someone mentioned also having Quick Time along w/Real & I have that too, but still can't get Real to finish connecting. Could it be because I have Windows Media Player as my default?I don't really think it matters, tho, if you bring up Real to use. DUH again!

BWE is Blackwater Eagle cam they have the 2 chicks that have hatched.
BWO is Blackwater Osprey cam where when the Osprey are not there. We see eagles and other raptors and birds.
Dana, she is fine. Tall tree not very big, fell and hit her garage. Said it made an awful noise. Luckily it hit the garage. It is only about 8 feet from the garage. So it didn't have a lot of mometum. Bent her downspout but not bad.

Lolly there have been many problems connecting. First shut down Realplayer. The open it back up and click file, scroll down to the link and click. If that doesn't work, shut down, go to the first page of the blog and click on live video or video feed. Then click on the link. If that doesn't work, go back to the live feed page, copy the link, then go to realplayer, click on file, then open, paste the link in there.
If none of those work, you will have to wait for somebody more technological than me to come in.
Those are the differennt thinks I have tried.
Jo-Jamie is closer to Ocean View/Bethany. As far as I know, none of the family closer to you had any problems. Hers was a small almost dead tree that should have been taken out two years ago but her husband wouldn't listen, so now he can fix the garage, andif the wind keeps up, his boat too.
Live cam went down sometime after 2am this morning Jim. I was watching it til about 2 am. Think I will go find some warmer clothes and blankets and go to sleep. Wind is blowing in every teenie tiny little place in this house.

i had that problem with real player last year, i deleted it and downloaded it again , it worked fine that time
Jill & Lolly, I have done all those things, too, to correct Real problem. I ran My Registry Cleaner which removes all the junk.Is that the same as the cache? That didn't work either.
Oh well, tomorrow (today)is another day. Successfully edited my blog name---it's really corny!

I believe it was Liberty on the eggs and Belle just came in. One on eggs did a lot of wing flapping; beautiful. Switch wiggling onto eggs. Settled down now other flew off.
Wanted those to know a lot of deer there this morning. The one with the swollen front leg was there. So it wasn't the one that died.
