Back from the dentist. Hooray, that is over for another 6 months. Yes, I made it and even showered fast. It is just down the road from my house; just before my school. Very convenient, but still didn't want to be late getting there.
See Mom is getting up off our chicks and we still have live cam and sound. Good deal
I see you are still talking about the BWE nest. Maybe we could hire a small plane to drop some fish on the nest for the babies to eat. Forget it, I couldn't resist. I don't want to get anything started again, but I've heard it rains cats and dogs; why not fish?
They are so peaceful there snuggled and snoozing together. A family that sleeps together, stays together. :)
Those poor Maine eagles. I hope that one of them that fell while doing hp wasn't the one that fell or was pushed off the nest earlier this year in a fight for the food in the nest. The third fall might kill him, if he has survived two so far. :0 Only kidding.
Thank you Steven for the New Threads finally got to this one. We have learn't that in past especially when someone visited the nest. Called one of you from nest cell phone. Being told no parent in nest. The person visiting would say, "tell everyone a parent is sitting above nest on limb". I am sure some of you remember that during the 2006 season.
Deb the maine hp video I thought it was so funny. Man nor eagle can't say they haven't done something foolish like that lmbo
Don't know if she was thanking him or telling him "That's my fish!" She flew with it to the back of the nest....looks like one of those nice big carps!
Oops, third head now up and visible. OMG they are starting to get a little fiesty; pushing that third one down. Mama had better get over there and rescue him. It also could be Piggy from before and the others want their food this time. Looks like Mom is going th fix things.
Would someone please call that eagle at BWO and direct him to the BWE nest with a big fish for the chicks. It seems so silly that he sits there doing nothing when he could be on a mission of mercy.
I know Helen, but I'd like to give him a root in his toot in the direction of the eagle nest and send him on a mission of mercy. Who knows, all might turn out ok in the end. The birds know best; I have to keep remembering that.
It is probably your Lonesome Louie, but wouldn't you think that he would by now know the nest he is at is MT, nada, zippo, not inhabited and he should go find a mate elsewhere? Poor bird.
I just checked in on the humming bird. Does anyone know if that is the same hummer starting another nest with new eggs? Fortet it, I read it and it is. That bird sure is a worker.
Ok, I went out to lunch at work, so I was hoping I read correctly and that they were able to get a little food in the last hour or so at Blackwater, is that the case? I hope so, I sure would like to see more feeding going on there!
Poor Lonesome Louie is still at BWO nest, missed our feeding, BWE still snoozing together and NBG nest is really getting some good winds too. Parent in the nest holding on for dear life. :)
DANA This eag;e pm the BWO nest, when blown up, has two round bare patches, (brood patches), on it's chest. Are brood patches able to be bare spots on the chests or do they have to be on the underside. These are definitely two circular bare spots on the chest. What do the rest of you smarter people think?
Thanks Candy that is where the eagle pulls out its feathers so when laying on eggs or chicks it keeps them warmer. Both male and female eagles do that.
Now not all the time is that him (BWE eagle) on the BWO platform. This time it was....well even thinking about it. Any eagle around that area that has chicks or eggs has the "brood patch". So who knows what parent eagle that was come to think of it.
So true Dana, but one time I was watching both nests. One was already on the nest and one on BWO. The next thing I saw was the one at BWO leave and an eagle showed up at the BWE nest to be with the other one. That was when I wondered if they could be close together. BUT anything is possible. There are so many eagles around, it is hard to tell.
I didn't get home in time to see the feeding....but the nest has been quiet since I brought it up around 6:45. Belle has been on the chicks, keeping them warm.
Evenin'...I haven't been able to keep up with all the posts as I have no access until after work until next week so don't know if this was mentioned or not. The eggs at PH on the Channel Islands should be hatching soon. When I got a reply from Dr. Sharpe there he said he estimated around the 26th for the 1st egg and the 30th for the 2nd. Soooo anytime!
Good evening all!! Had to go out for a while but I am back and getting ready for bed. So grateful the live feed with sound - did you all hear that - WITH SOUND - is still working.
Dana hi. Yes I've been watching since last year. Just more at work where I only get stills and cannot post to the blog. At home this week and finally could watch the live feed.
Just finished talking to my sister in New York State. I see BWE and our nest bedded down for the night. I also saw Mit's report on the BWE nest. So they are holding their own. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for the chicks (more food brought in) We can all hope.
It looks like Spidey has started his nightly weaving of the web.. :( So I guess I will call it a night before we can't even see Belle in our nest. You all have a restful and peaceful night. Tomorrow brings a new day with new things to come. GOOD NIGHT ALL.
Well I am home form work and very tired. I did enjoy having the osund up at work today and got to watch and listen some. It is awesome and like the others Steve I am so very grateful.
Good night everyone. I am hoping i can enjoy the cams form home tomorrow but not for sure MTBR on that one.
Belle is still up and looking around. Can see the babies under her. They are awake and stirring as well! Now she looks like she is going to sleep, but can still see the babies.
Good morning, world. Not so bad out tonight, 46° in PA, 49° in VA. Bout time. Our eagle, probably Belle, is sound asleep on the babies. Saw Steve's note at beginning of thread. Glad the babies were only alone about an hour. Poor BW kids are alone most of the time now. Lisa has a note that the babies appear to be capable of keeping themselves warm, and they do snuggle a lot. Mom makes short appearances during the day, and sometimes even with food. That's nice of her! Both parents are eating, I'm sure. So they can share with their babies! Both babies look like they're sleeping almost totally out from under mom right now. Ok, gonna go open some cams. All have a great eagle/panda day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
OMG, it's snowing in Maine! Coming down pretty good, too. Glad it's not here. BW parent woke up, checked the kids, going back to sleep. Belle hasn't moved. Ok, BW parent still tucking kids in...
Belle is awake, glowing eyes. WildWatch cams are still down, some since the 17th, others went down on the 24th. Mama Cali has a new view, or else a night light now. Can see two chicks alone and huddled together. Mom isn't home at the moment. Oh, Belle is standing up, don't know why, she's looking off to the right. Wonder if they'res an owl flying around or something. Went back and looked at the osprey pics from CO. Seems that nest may be a goose nest, saw one then two there most of the day. The one that was there almost all day looked like she was honking at somthing a couple times. Well that's cool, never saw geese babies from eggs on up, so maybe we will. Belle now still standing, but watching 12 o'clock area.
Eagle on branch in Maine, and it's still snowing there. Belle is still asleep, as is Lady BW. Her kids are almost all the way out from under her sleeping. Think I can see a white head in NBG, but wouldn't swear to it. Belle just woke up, head down talking to babies, I guess. CO owletts are alone. Our pic hasn't refreshed, so Belle still has her head down. Ok, it just refreshed, head now back under wing and she's gone back to sleep. Have things to do on other computer. Be back much later this morning, hold down the fort...
Morning, Athenna! Popped in to see our babies eating, and the BW kids snuggled together and half trying to get under the fluffy stuff to stay warm. At least it's not as cold as it has been. Sure hope Lady BW brings back breakfast!! I was speaking to you yesterday, but I never said Welcome to the blog! So welcome, hope you enjoy it as much as the rest of us.
Deer in PA, our kids are snuggling while Belle takes a break. BW kids are touching, but not snuggling. Eagle still on branch in Maine, female in NBG turning her egg and trying to get comfy. PA falcon was on her eggs, but she's off now and still 2 eggs, no new ones. Hilton Head osprey on his/her 2 eggs. Back later...

Thanks Steve:) the live feed with sound is really great!!
Steven, I had no doubt that a parent was perched right near them! Thanks so much for everything. We are blowing up the blog today! :)
Belle has food stashed everywhere!
Looks like Belle has finally managed to corral them all down in the egg cup
Parent at BWE
Eating time at BWE
just like a woman, always ready with an extra stash of food:).

It took me awhile, but I found the clip of the fall the Maine eagles took yesterday. It is by Judy from the Maine Forum.

ROFLMBO, DEB, THAT WAS FUNNY.
ROFL!! And to think they had that nice stable nest there and chose that lil' ole branch instead......sigh...birds.....

Breeze has picked up...Mama Belle back on the babes...
That Maine video was too funny DEB. Thanks for sharing.
Two eagles in our nest
is that a squirrel?
Eagle in our nest with food
Looks like one is telling the other a story about the day and that was nice, before he flew off, he left a brand spanking new fish fod dinner.
You could hear the calling out before he arrived
Something big and white...fish??
I could only see the eyes, thought it was squirrel. Now I can see it
Chicklets look too tired to eat. Maybe Mom can have a small bite for now.
Thank you Steven for the New Threads finally got to this one. We have learn't that in past especially when someone visited the nest. Called one of you from nest cell phone. eaglets look like they want to sleep.
It's a lovely fish :)
HAHA she is dragging that sucker all over the nest
more than enough for a family of 5:)
Wake up kids! Time to eat!
Dana - I can honestly say I've never done it on a tree limb!! ;)
The Hardy boys at BWE are snuggled together....
One of the chicks is on the bottom of the pile getting squeezed out of dinner. He had better summon his energy and rise up before dinner is done.
Our LIttle one is sleeping
Oops, third head now up and visible. OMG they are starting to get a little fiesty; pushing that third one down. Mama had better get over there and rescue him. It also could be Piggy from before and the others want their food this time. Looks like Mom is going th fix things.
That is one way to stop the action; just sit on them. :)
They sure ate alot of that fish up. Looks like there is only enough left for an evening snack. :)
One is trying to get out under her back end. too funny
BWE feeding
BWE feeding again
You owe me a Coke DANA. She wasn't there for too long.
in and out and BWE
That was a short visit at BWE I hope she brings a bigger dinner next time.
Eagle at BWO has "no brood patch on chest".
Ok Candy you'll have to come up here for our next "group get together" and I'll buy you a coke ( :
could be Lonesome Louie..
I think that is Belle she is calling.
Oh her sounds are so beautiful ( :
Now that I think of it..eekk I hope that "hawk" isn't around flying around the nest. Oh my..
Would someone please call that eagle at BWO and direct him to the BWE nest with a big fish for the chicks. It seems so silly that he sits there doing nothing when he could be on a mission of mercy.
No hawks around our nest I hope. Our eagle parents would tear him apart. If they didn't we would all probably hunt him down ourselves. :)
not his problem, Candy
I know Helen, but I'd like to give him a root in his toot in the direction of the eagle nest and send him on a mission of mercy. Who knows, all might turn out ok in the end. The birds know best; I have to keep remembering that.
It is probably your Lonesome Louie, but wouldn't you think that he would by now know the nest he is at is MT, nada, zippo, not inhabited and he should go find a mate elsewhere? Poor bird.
think he is a bachelor.
AND he is sitting on what seems to look like a bachelor's pad! :)
wish the osprey would claim it and start renovations
I just checked in on the humming bird. Does anyone know if that is the same hummer starting another nest with new eggs? Fortet it, I read it and it is. That bird sure is a worker.
That would be a nice thought Helen. Our osprey nest in front of our house is MT yet.
Heading home, catch ya later!
WOW!!! Just got home. I hear wind!!! Thank you Steven and staff!
Had to go to Winchester to visit a friend in teh hospital. Tired of all the depressing news. But what great news to find we have sound. YAY>
Has anyboyd seen Rocking Circle R lately? Have a message to pass on to her but I never see her.
have not seen her today, Jill
dinner at the nest.
long stringy stuff
Eagle at BWO,
Jill she has not been on at all today.
Hi Naturenut ( :
dinner is over.
Anyone see any eagles back on the Maine nest after their hp fall off the nest? :)
They have been back quite a bit and the female has been spending the night in the nest since last Saturday.
Looks like our parent is going to take a Panda nap while she/he can. This is the third time he/she has tried to tuck his head under his wing.
that sounds like good news DEB. I guess the branches broke their fall and sounds like she may be getting ready to lay eggs. Thanks for the info.
Parent back at BWE. Don't see any food tho.
Parent is still there fussing over both chicks.
Where's the "beef" I mean fish mama?
So I now have sound but no picture on th elive feed. Any help?
Eagle at BWO just finally flew off. Must have gotten tired of waiting for his ride.
Never mind it finally came up. After trying 5 times today.
Candy, Mits, Deb and Paula check your emails please.
Welcome Misty ( :
Have you been watching this site for long?
Both eagles are at the Maine nest.
That eagle was sitting on the BWO nest when another eagle visited the nest just awhile ago. What is up. Where is the food provider.
Parent gone from BWE nest and only babies remain again. Short visit.
Thanks Candy that is where the eagle pulls out its feathers so when laying on eggs or chicks it keeps them warmer. Both male and female eagles do that.
He was on the BWO when she was in the nest with the chicks.
She probably is looking for food or is on a limb above the nest.
Now not all the time is that him (BWE eagle) on the BWO platform. This time it was....well even thinking about it. Any eagle around that area that has chicks or eggs has the "brood patch". So who knows what parent eagle that was come to think of it.
Eagle back with chicks at BWE
Yes DEB I see one eagle there in the nest now. It is getting dusk there,
Eagle in BWEnest!
adult back at BWE, no food
DANA It is the sixty four thousand dollar question. Just wish, like everyone else, that someone would help the BWE nest out.
Looks like eagle in Main is bedded down for the night again. Maybe an egg will come soon.
I didn't mean a person, I meant another eagle or the parents.
For all we know this guy eagle at BWE could be off helping some other female. Cruises home when they have a spat.
So true Dana, but one time I was watching both nests. One was already on the nest and one on BWO. The next thing I saw was the one at BWO leave and an eagle showed up at the BWE nest to be with the other one. That was when I wondered if they could be close together. BUT anything is possible. I didn't get home in time to see the feeding....but the nest has been quiet since I brought it up around 6:45. Belle has been on the chicks, keeping them warm.
No dog walks tonight, too windy.
At least for now the eaglets are being kept warm for the night, that is if this eagle stays all night.
Welcome back PAULA! Your dogs will have to go out by themselves tonight, I guess. Poor dogs. :)
I gave them some bones from the Easter Roast Beast instead! They didn't complain!
They love going for a walk, but they do have a hice sized backyard to run around in...
Eagle awake
Fly-in!
Lib just arrived!
Eating food that was in the nest.
both eagles
Not sure if he brought food, but he is hungry...working on some of that stuff under the cam
He has moved to the back of the nest now
She is up off the chicks
Is that Liberty that has been on the chicks?
She flapped her wings a couple of times...you could hear her flapping them. Then she took off to the right
Belle just came back...Lib's gonna have to go!
GO AWAY SPIDEY
JUST GO AWAY
That was a silent exchange...Lib took off to the right
BWE UPDATE
Nest Update
03/26/08:
Our mother eagle is putting in short appearances during the day, sometimes with food, although the food quantity is still light.
The chicks appear capable of keeping themselves warm during the day.
Racoon at PA
2 racoons running on and off the cam at PA
Evenin'...I haven't been able to keep up with all the posts as I have no access until after work until next week so don't know if this was mentioned or not. The eggs at PH on the Channel Islands should be hatching soon. When I got a reply from Dr. Sharpe there he said he estimated around the 26th for the 1st egg and the 30th for the 2nd. Soooo anytime!
STEVEN..THANKS for the sound on the video now!!
chicks keep trying to get out from under.
so tomorrow for the 1st chick to arrive:)
little buggers woke her up
Good evening all!! Had to go out for a while but I am back and getting ready for bed. So grateful the live feed with sound - did you all hear that - WITH SOUND - is still working.

Going to close down and call it a Very Eventful day!
Good Night everyone - enjoy the rest of your evening!
Peace to You & Yours
Prayers being said for all of our needs!
Eagle at Kent 1!
I came in the room at just the right time. I have missed seeing the Kent eagles this week.
I can see one chick peeking out from under the adult eagle
eagle awake and looking around
going back to sleep
you can hear the chicks
I didn't realize it was getting so late, time for me to turn off the computer for the day.
It was great having the live feed with sound, STEVEN, thank so much to you and everyone involved with making it work for everyone!
Belle is stiring around. Poop shoot towards the camera! Can here the chicks!
Belle is still up and looking around. Can see the babies under her. They are awake and stirring as well! Now she looks like she is going to sleep, but can still see the babies.
Belle is asleep and I am about to be. Nite!
GOOD NIGHT, EVERYBODY~~
GOOD MORNING TO THE EARLY BIRDERS.
The sound is working, the wind is blowing Spidey's web and everything else. Belle's sleeping with her head toward 12:00.
Have a great week.

Lady BW (thanks for the name Suzanne) is gone already.....hopefully to get some food to share with the chicks.
Belle has just gotten up and given her breakfast order to Lib. The babies are chirping happily!
Hmmm....she had some goodies put away and has pulled it out and feeding it to the hungry chicks...
Lady BW may be on the BWO platform, can see her brood patch... sorta.
New WEDNESDAY thread with pics of the babies!!!
