Can you believe it. I just sat down at school and tried theis and it came on. HAPPY WEDNESDAY TO ALL WATCHERS OUT THERE, My live feed was down at home aslo.

Good morning to SUZANNE, SHARON AND MEGAN. I think that was who I saw on this am at my house.

Have been lurking at school all day yesterday, but didn't catch a glimpse of the babies. At night I am busy getting the house cleaned for Easter and Josh coming home, but I have lurked there too.

Hooray for Mt. St, Mary's winning over Coppin. I watched the game somewhat inbetween doing my chores and was so glad for Paula and Mits that they won. YES PAULA, I saw your comment telling me they won. It would be special for you if you had the cinderella team in this tournament who went all the way. I wish you good luck against Carolina on Friday. One never knows the outcome until it is over.

I do hope you all have a very nice day watching and blogging. Two more days after today and I have spring break! :) One week off to watch the fuzzies.

NORMA STAYED TUNED TO THOSE DIVERS AND JO KEEP YOUR EYES ON YOUR HOOTIES. Missing blogging with you all. Have a great day.

Again, thanks Steven for keeping our group of eagle momsters and dadsters in the loop with the live feed and hopefully sound soon. You guys there have been terrific! We really appreciate you all.

Congratulations to Megan for being the #1 bloggster for this session. Way to go Megan.

Well people are starting to come in, so I guess I had better get to work too. I still can't believe that I am still blogging here at work. That won't last long.

MITS I have your NZ Pandas up for the kids to enjoy as they come in in the morning. They just love them.

Gotta go. Again all have a super day. Later gators.

Hey everyone, been lurking for the last few days... going to be moving in a month or so, and lots of packing to do so watching the nest when I can.

How about a quick update on what's going on in our nest? We have two chicks, not three, right? Any other news?

I'll check in again when I can :)

Oh, he got a little rough, so she fought back! You go, girl!

Suzanne said...

There are our babies! Sorry the live feed is down for your guys! You're gonna go nuts watching the 3 minute cam!

Suzanne said...

Both in our nest.

MITS said...

Looks like they seperated Mei and Tian

Suzanne said...

Yeah, Helen, they did that as soon as she snapped at him. She was not happy, he was very rough with her, and she turned around and smacked him and snapped at him. Then they both went off in different directions, then both on different cams.

MITS said...

well we don't want her hurting him again, but we do want them together for this to work:)

Well our 3 min still cam does make it look a little drier for our special family. I am glad to "see" that. However

There is nothing in this world like a bunch of eagleholics if they all go nuts at the same time.

We need a FIX soon HELP!!!!

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

With the still cam, these eaglets could fledge by the time the pic changes! :)

paula eagleholic said...

Morning, all!

See those hungry little chicks are eating again!

paula eagleholic said...

Back on the eaglets to keep them warm, it's chilly out there right now! :)

Beakspeak list for top 5 cams- Last 7 Days
USFWS Eagle Cam (Bald Eagle)
Friends of Blackwater (Bald Eagle)
Dellwo Birdcam (Allen's Hummingbird)
CSUB Owlcam (Great Horned Owl)
WVEC - Norfolk Botanical (Bald Eagle)- so there's lots of people having cam withdrawals this morning...

Mema Jo said...

You mean our ratings are going to DROP? Oh No!

Lisa has:
Nest Update 03/19/08:
We've updated the Eagle Cam Web Log with news about our two eaglets, as well as our eagle parents.

kirine said...

Is the live feed down or is it my PC flaking out??

Mema Jo said...

BlackWater- 59° So it's ok for the eaglets to be uncovered. I am wondering if a parent is close by -
Seems like a Red Tailed Hawk could have a quick lunch if the parents are both gone from the nest. That's my biggest worry.

floralgirl said...

live feed is currently down

glo said...

well actually MeMa Jo it might have little effect on ratings dropping as many of us are checking every five mins or so hoping to see the cam. We aren't watching it of course but the hits are there. Now some of the new folks may in fact NOT be trying it several times soon together, but lots of us are so its getting lots of hits.

It needs to work. Maybe they are working on the audeo feed or something. Any news that someone knows and is working on it would be good although the still cam is being worked on for a couple of days now at least and well......I don't see any change. Its true and I am sure we are all frustrated. Gosh dern it!!!!

Phillip Keveren...the CD is called On Eagles Wings. Not sure if you can find it in print or not. Good luck.

Suzanne said...

Hi everybody. Bye everybody. Busy day today. Tomorrow is going to be more of the same, I think. I've missed the babies and my cams, and you guys.
Time for me to hit the road. all have a great eagle/panda day.
Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
Oh, that reminds me, Carol in WV, I saw your saying, Eyes to the nest, where life is the best! I like it!! And right now, it sure is!
Ok, later all.

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

I have to say that watching this cam is almost like watching paint dry!

Oh, how I love it. Eyes to the nest where life is the best. How eggciting this morning. Wish the live feed was up. I like watching it, but can't get it at work, so I guess I just need to go on home and try it there. Maybe it will be back on when I get there. Have a good one dear friends. blessings today Mauley

glo said...

well my guess is those who have managed to get unglued from their monitors today are making up for the stuff they need to be doing so they can glue there noses once again when the feed gets fixed. Tis a long day indeed.

Having said that no matter what I am grateful to have had live feed the whole time our little ones were hatching None of us had ever seen that before.
Its hard now though as we do know what we are missing and my guess is there is no discount for the live audeo feed no matter how often it does or does not work.
and so It is what it is for each of us I reckon. Including Steve and the techs and Friends of NCTC...except for th emost part I am not for sure how many of them actually stay quite as glued as we do.

Mema Jo said...

Feeding time & I can see all three.

GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE...

I woke up in the night, had trouble getting back and then I slept a little late this morn.

Any word on the live feed, which is still down for me??

I see the BWE chicks are showing pin feathers today, and Dad is perched on the still unclaimed BWO nest.

The Norfolk eagle which was with the eggs last night set on them down all the way as you normally see. Everything appears OK there now...doesn't look like a second egg yet.

I saw ZZ up and moving in the upper regions of her tree structure.

How's the day going for you so far?

LIVE FEED IS BACK ON!!

paula eagleholic said...

Just got back in the office, tried it and it came on.

paula eagleholic said...

Things are pretty still on the live feed. Eagle is tenting....looking around a little.

Mema Jo said...

I had emailed Steve about 1/2 hr ago. I remember that the live feed inside NCTC never went down when ours did.
Maybe they just needed a wake up call that we couldn't see what they were seeing. We'll have to remember that next time it goes down- Alert NCTC immediately.

Quiet & wet at the nest.....
Thurs & Fri is SUNSHINE!

paula eagleholic said...

Thanks, Jo. I thought someone notified Steve a long time ago....

glo said...

well I have to admit this "movie" looks a whole lot like the one I was watching last night. But it is a Motion Picture again. Thanks MeMa Jo

Looks I think Liberty just flew in and brought a flopping, flipping, jumping fish in with him. Even with all that food in the nest.

wvgal_dana said...

Whichever one flew in moved over to the fish that was laying upside down and has started eating on it. Chowing down fast.

wvgal_dana said...

Oh my here we go off the chicks now they are wiggling and flopping around. I see all three. That one is taking a fish that is there at back of nest. Eating some now going to feed the chicks.
