Thanks for the new thread, Steven, and the heads up, Norma. And morning to Norma and Sharon. I've been watching the squirrels drive the eagles in NBG crazy. Just talking away over there, not gonna copy here. Oh, they just zoomed in, squirrel is not on the trunk on the right. Mom (back on egg(s)) saw him, but one on branch wasn't paying attention.
WHOA!!---The 'LITTLE PRINCE' is restless this a.m.!----Just pacing back & forth over his estate!!----Wonder how he has gotten through these past few days!!---
Norma, there are two "Skinnies" and neither one of them looked too skinny this morning! And I'd really love to see our little "dears" but with the way the cam is refreshing, they're gonna fledge before I can actually get a good look at them.
No, Norma, never could get live feed here. That's why I depend on the 30 sec refresh. Which is now 3+ minutes refresh. Very frustrating, to say the least!
SHARON---Have been reading about the EAGLE WATCHERS near HINTON--- waters of NEW & BLUESTONE Waters!!------They have had volunteers watching during the past 5 years!!-----seeing several EAGLES---BUT CAN "NOT" LOCATE THE NESTS!!!---Isn't this near you???---Pic of EAGLE in BLUESTONE LAKE!!---

Normabyrd, I went to Bluestone last year looking for eagles but never saw one. I need to find out where they are spotting them. It is about 30 minutes from here. Where are you reading about it?
Just sent Lisa a pic of the visiting Osprey, and told her he/she was still there. I no sooner hit send, than the osprey took off. Oh well, was there for a few minutes.
Good Thursday Morning Suzanne, Sharon, Norma, Vicky and Watchers.
Sure is "windy" out there gust to 45-50 mph.

Good Spring Windy Morning to you Mits ( : I did remember that you and your sister are getting with the girls. That should be a lot of fun. I know you just adore them.
Mark your calendars: the best time to see Washington’s famous cherry blossoms will be between March 27 and April 3, according to Robert DeFeo, the chief horticulturist for the National Park Service. The annual Cherry Blossom Festival runs from March 29 to April 13, so the blossoms could open before the festival even starts this year.
The Peak Bloom Date is defined as the day in which 70 percent of the blossoms of the Yoshino Cherry (Prunus x yedoensis) trees are open. The date when the Yoshino cherry blossoms reach peak bloom varies from year to year, depending on weather conditions. Cherry Blossom Festival dates are set based on the average date of blooming (April 4), but nature is not always cooperative. Unseasonably warm and/or cool temperatures have resulted in the Yoshino cherries reaching peak bloom as early as March 15 (1990) and as late as April 18 (1958).
The Blooming Period is defined as the period that starts when 20% of the blossoms are open and ends when the petals fall and the leaves appear. The Blooming period starts several days before the Peak Bloom Date and can last as long as 14 days; however, frost or high temperatures combined with wind and/or rain can shorten this period.
Norma Are you going to Shepherdstown for Easter or staying home & baking a ham? Suzanne do you go over to your sister's? Dana Do you have company coming in? Just wishing that you all have family and/or friends to share the holdiay with you.
No, most of my family is too far away to visit for the weekend. Colorado and California. My sister is coming here for the day. (she is not a cook, so I do all holidays)
BBL- computer is going completely haywire, feel certain it will shut itself off at any moment, another unadvertised feature, once it does that, one never knows when it will start again or what new features will show up once it does. I saw them both in the nest. Which ever one flew in, walked to the back of the nest. Looked for a minute the one on the nest was going to get up, but only wiggled. Other took off! Wish I could tell them apart. I've tried!
I've never seen or had choc. cake with peanut butter icing, but it certainly sounds good! Our favorite ice cream around here is peanut butter cup ice cream.
LOLLY--I have a hard time telling them apart if they are separated---If they are together---easy---BELLE is larger than LIBERTY!!---but just fun to watch!!

I saw them both in the nest. Which ever one flew in, walked to the back of the nest. Looked for a minute the one on the nest was going to get up, but only wiggled. Other took off! Wish I could tell them apart. I've tried!

Feeding our nest
I do wish they would be more considerate of us, and not cast a shadow while feeding the bobbles.
INDY FALCOM SITE----2 EGGS
Sunshine is nice, but cloudy days are better for seeing the eaglets :)
Ya know, it is like they knew this bad weather was coming, with all the wind and kept digging that cup deeper. Blows my mind!!
