My bird/baby monitor is still humming, guess I'll have to get a new one.
Looks like it going to be a great day.
Good morning again everyone. The following is what I posted about 3:30 a.m.:
Up for a bathroom break. Was watching Belle. She woke up, looked around, jumped up off the eggs and was watching something with great displeasure. Three times she did wing flaps, not stretches, as if she were trying to chase something off. Then she went back in the egg cup, checked the eggs and wiggled back into the cup. Now she looks like she is on total red alert. I did not get to see all the eggs.

Well, it is very hard to tear myself away from this live feed and such great company, but I must go to work now, which means walking away from the computer:( I have no doubt you eagle eyes will watch and keep the blog updated on activities. I'll check back later.

Anne it has made such a difference...although I still have a problem walking in grass or uneven areas due to my neck and back. I am so glad I had it done.

Helen, I found out that if I open too many things is when it starts running funny for me. I cut way down on the screens that I open and that seems to help me.

I had that on this new computer when I got it last year. I had such a problem I took it all out. Since I'm with cable they have their own spyware and firewall. I used that. Things became 100% better last year.

I know our son would love to be going, but he has Daddy duty, his wife is flying to Ohio to be with her sister who just deliverd her 1st child by c-sec Monday night. My sisters and I will watch the girls tomorrow and Friday, while he works

Tim really saved many lives that birthday. Clarie (the nanny gaot) was having trouble delivering the little ones and he had to "talk me through" how to help her give birth. I really needed to calm down first. After the first one, then we had to do it again, much to my suprise. The second went much faster. All the ladies at WFHM had a good time with him on the phone telling me what to do. they were all very impressed with him thats for sure.
Wonder if they are working on tweaking the color? Or maybe just a glitch.

I am getting a yellowish blinking effect.It's driving me crazy to look at it. Like a flasher signal!

My feed has gone colorless too, but at least it's still moving.
I don't have many other cams open this morning ... a couple or three ... might be a factor.
You can always try restarting the puter and opening our live feed first and go from there...

By the way, I emailed Pete's Pond (actually N. Geographic) about the broken cams and asking them to post the information "up front" where viewers can read it.
Well, they said the cams could be up by the weekend, but this is the first year they have extended into the rainy season, so they don't know when they will have to shut down for the season.
Doesn't sound like they'll post it front page, but they did say there is a technical thread on the blog where the information can be found.
They were very friendly and helpful in their reply ... give them credit.

You can still see one egg in the h'bird nest and every now and then you can see something move right below the egg. I haven't seen a feeding yet, but haven't watched it very much. A note above the live screen says that the eggs hatched today - but I can still see one egg. Mom keeps flitting on and off the nest. Soooo pretty!

Same old same old here,
Weather horrible, storms and gales, had to glue the roof on the house and the rain's been so heavy that I thought my windows were going to smash at times.
Expecting more gales tonight, up to 80 to 95 miles an hour, I knew suspenders were a good idea for holding up my underwear[ ha ha ha ]
Cats dont like this weather, and my sparrowhawk hasn't been near much this week either, so where she has gone I just don't know.
My little owllets are all doing fine, but if the weather gets any worse I'm afraid of canibalisum, well I'm sure you all know thats a normal thing with owls, they always lay more than needed so there is spare food for the bigger chicks [ugh] but thats nature, isn't it all.

Paula the live feed has not been very colorful, no. But usually there's some green on the tree trunk at least. The color's not as good as on the regular cam.
But, as I said earlier, it keeps on ticking so far.

Just saw the hummingbird feed the little one! Couldn't see much but a beak but there is one definitely in there! She is off the nest again right now so may be back to feed soon.
The Hummer mother is off the nest, but I can't see the hatchling yet.
