GOOD FRIDAY MORNING SUZANNE, SHARON, NORMA, MEGAN, JIM, AND GLO. It is going to be a beautiful day here also; sun is shining brightly on my last day of spring break.:( Oh well, all good things must come to an end sometime, but it sure has been nice.
I also want to add my birthday wishes to JO's SGT. RYAN. I hope your day is all that you want it to be. May God bless you for all you are doing for us. We are very proud of you. Thank you and again HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU~
MORNIN' CANDY!!!---Wait a min.---don't you still have TODAY--Sat. & Sun. to ENJOY!!!---& the TAR HEELS won---BIG TIME!!---We LOST in over time!---But the KIDS played their hearts out!!!---LIFE IS GOOD!!---
Eagle just took off from Maine nest. It was such a beautiful pic of her sitting on the snowy branch with the snow coming down, but glad it is up there and not here. :)
NORMA I was cheering so hard for WV and they did play their hearts out. The game was soooooo close I was just sure you would win. Sorry they didn't. Deb's team in SD also won last night. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for UNC as they could be next. One never knows. At least we made it to the final 8 so far.
And yes, I have Saturday and Sunday to go but I don't count them as my break as I am not in school then. It sure has been fun to be able to get on and chat and watch whenever again. Now'll I'll wish for it to be summer again. :)
CANDY---Even the announcers were saying----'don't think any one can beat UNC the way they have been playing'----ho!---Will still yell for you all!!----& will check DEB'S team out!!!---Happy they won!!
MORNIN' GEULA!!---Oh Yeah!!---The EAGLETS are happy campers this a.m.!!---They have such GOOD PARENTS too!!----Love it---when the little heads pop out from under MOMMA!!----ho!
ow.. poor tiny gets a bite, then a peck tothe head. He is holding his own though, getting a good amount of food this time. They pretty much sat on him when the feeding started.
Good Morning to all eagle watchers; The weather here has changed to lots of rain and cooler temp.I will go and check on our eagles later today.I hope everything here is ok,i will be around today off and on. Indiana Nesting Eagles----Dave
oh, that is comical, tiny is in the right palce to get first dibs on food, but is now getting squished by #1- and #2 is facing the opposite direction and can't seem to get turned around.
Thanks, Norma, the final is on Saturday against Northern Kentucky. It is pretty exciting for the town and the school to have made it all the way to the finals.
MORNIN' LOLLY!!---These EAGLETS are noisy little things are they?-----But it is music to my ears!!! ENJOYED the sounds from BELLE too!----She certainly isn't quiet!!!
It didn't start until 9:30, so it was late to end. At least on Saturday it starts at 5 pm. I don't know why they are playing at such weird times. The game is only 4 hours away, I bet a lot of people will head down if the weather is good.
I was going to open other cams then the feeding started. How about the way Pearl climbed to the left of Little Bit, thinking she would get fed more there. Then Mom left!
GOOD MORNING LOLLLY AND DEB. It is 64 degrees here today so far DEB. I don't know how you can stand still having snow. And the poor Maine nest was getting more this am too.
Well looks like our little bunch of fuzz has settled back down for awhile; until the next time food comes in.:)
GOT YA LOLLY!!!----I am a 1st born child---I always felt we got blamed for every thing!! ho!---SHARON is youngest child!!---in family of 6!---she's the baby!!---HEY SHARON!!---Bet you were a beautiful baby!!----
Morning Candy! It is 59 here but going to warm up, though it is cloudy and a slight chance of rain. Have the house open and I am in shorts!
Enjoy your day today! I know how you are feeling! And guess what, I do not like weekends now. That is when everyone is home, crowding stores, and getting in my way. ha! Retirment is wonderful!!!
Maine site is beautiful! WOW! But. glad it is up there. We saw an eagle when we were up there in October. I like to think that is where the nest is and that is the eagle we saw! lol
Anne - the chicks are better at regulating their temperature, so the parent doesn't have to stay on them all the time to keep them warm. Tell Brandon they are OK!
Hi Norma! Actually, I am going to be seeing Sandy today at 3pm for therapy. We always talk about the eagles. She has me watching the wood duck now too.
Does anyone on here know anything about bluebirds. I have had one staying around my house for the past week. I put out a bluebird house last year, but they have no interest in it, and the sparrows have claimed it as home.
As I sit here, I am looking out the window at one of our Red Bellied Woodpecker houses. (Saw a woodpecker there one time!) A Starling is busy getting mouthfuls of sawdust and throwing it out. Wants to build a nest in there, but does not want the sawdust. It is funny!
MORNIN' ANNE & BRANDON!!---BRANDON----STEVE tells us that when the EAGLES leave the little EAGLETS alone---they are usually up higher in the tree watching over them!!---They are very protective of their young!!----Thinking of you all today!!!
time to get back to work. If anyone can offer a suggestion as to how I can get the bluebirds to next in my little house, that would be very helpful! My husband is picking up a peanut butter suet feeder because I read they like anything that has to do with peanuts. Will check back in later today. Love and hugs. :)
LOLLY Too much wind and that awful yellow pollen in the air and on everything here to open the doors and windows today. Our deck is just covered. Was going to have breakfast out on the screen porch when I saw the pollen on the table. I have to go out and wash it all off, but it will still come back on again. :( I hope you enjoy your open windows etc. It must be great.
DANELLE----That's wonderful news about SANDY!!---I am no help with BLUE BIRDS---I have had blue bird houses up for ever!!----No BLUE BIRDS!!---& I live along woods property too!!---Are you all watching the WOOD DUCK that is sitting on all those EGGS at the CORNELL site?--- They are BEAUTIFUL DUCKS---Would love to see one!!!
Danelle - Try more than one bluebird box. They also like them in a sunny spot, where they can see everything. My boss says you can have some of his! He has 4 fighting over one box!
ATLANTA SITE shows MEI LIN sitting in the sun room under the hammock (which holds a huge colorful ball) eating from a large pile of bamboo!!---It is AWESOME---seems to be enjoying herself!!!
Good Morning Everyone - well, it is still morning for a little while.
Wonder of wonders,I hear some tweets this morning! and I can see some little ones moving in the nest! Life is GOOD! Parents just flew in!!! WOW noisy!! that parent is mantling over something it looks like - now feeding babies. awwwwww
MORNIN' JILL---HELEN---& IRISF!!! If these PARENTS intend to enter the nest this way all the time----Well---they may have to attend a 'parent training' class!!-----I THINK IT ISN'T A GOOD EXAMPLE for the EAGLETS!!!---
Belle was in the nest...Lib brought in a fish...Belle ran over and grabbed it from him and took it to the back of the nest....that's what she fed the chicks..
Happy Birthday Sgt. Ryan!!! We do appreciate all that you and all our soldiers are doing!!! You are all in our prayers.
The little one certainly got his/her share at this feeding - it really looked like they all did this time. Nice to see and hear. Thanks Steve and NCTC crew.
I think our eagles are finally giving up to sleep. They are slowly falling over to a resting position. One just gave a big yawn. So peaceful. I take that back they are up again and down. One chick just can't seem to get in a comfortable position.
The 'LITTLE PRINCE' has turned his back on us this a.m.---He is really making the 'bamboo dance'!! He is one "COOL PANDA"!!!--I don't think he will ever change!!!
Thanks Paula and Norma for responding. Paula, tell him to send them over my way! :) I bought the bluebird house from the Audobon Society and I put it out in a sunny area (we don't have any shade,no trees) and followed all the height requirements and the open area. I can't figure it out! Paula, what does your boss use as bluebird food?
Hi All. Bye All. Good grief, this is getting to be a habit! I'm too old for all these busy days. See our kids are sunning themselves, as are the BW kids. Just hope the BW kids got fed today, wasn't watching too closely. I know ours did! Time for me to hit the road. All have a great eagle/panda day and weekend! Hopefully, blog Monday. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
Two white eggs still in SC/PH nest. #10 is busy cleaning up the nest around them and rolling them. Didn't see any cracks yet. Wiggle, wiggle. Hope they both make it this year.

THAT was short & sweet!!---When the site came up!!------I saw EYES & GOGGLES upon against the screen!!---I had to stop & think!!--What is this?? ---Haven't seen them for a while!!---
MORNIN' MOVIN'JIM!!---Wondered if you over slept this a.m.---Usually see you before SUZANNE flies away!! Temp is up to 66 this a.m.--but skies are getting darker now!!!
the dogs and geese have been making noise today, Jo, also heard the kiddies playing, and construction going on, and planes flying over...here come the geese again
Yes MITS there have been quite a few gesse flying north today on eagle cam. That is a GOOD sign for warming temps. hopefully. Tell that to DEB and the eagle in Maine, tho.
The first time I heard the geese, I was confused because I though they were outside. The geese have already been here and continued north. Ducks are here now and they aren't as noisy as geese.
If all 3 are sleeping - Mom & Dad just sitting there after a fly in... What is all the chirping noise - Or can they chrip & not move their beaks. I was thinking it was whatever they brought in...........

Baby Littley is getting to eat again and Pearl is just a pecking away!
oh, that is comical, tiny is in the right palce to get first dibs on food, but is now getting squished by #1- and #2 is facing the opposite direction and can't seem to get turned around.
Now poor middie is in submission. Pecking Pearl is really being mean to her!

Maine site is beautiful! WOW! But. glad it is up there. We saw an eagle when we were up there in October. I like to think that is where the nest is and that is the eagle we saw! lol
Good morning all, Brandon and I are off for todays adventure. Brandon is concerned that mom and dad are not there and the babes are alone.
MORNIN' DANELLE & PAULA!!!----Heard wonderful news yesterday from JO!!----She said SANDY had called her!!---LIFE IS GOOD!!!
Finally an osprey on the BWO nest and eagle back in BWE.
Anne - the chicks are better at regulating their temperature, so the parent doesn't have to stay on them all the time to keep them warm. Tell Brandon they are OK!
I'm sure one of our parents is in the tree, just out of our sight!
Hi Norma! Actually, I am going to be seeing Sandy today at 3pm for therapy. We always talk about the eagles. She has me watching the wood duck now too.
Does anyone on here know anything about bluebirds. I have had one staying around my house for the past week. I put out a bluebird house last year, but they have no interest in it, and the sparrows have claimed it as home.

thank you Paula, its off to school for us. Danelle please give a hug to Sandra. May today bring you smiles. Hugs.
time to get back to work.
Is the picture you have your backyard, Lolly? it is very pretty, I have always wanted a pond.
GOOD MORNING TO DANELLE, PAULA AND ANNE. ANNE, you must have a lot of good times with BRANDON. That is so cool. Enjoy your day together.
Yes, Deb, that is one of our ponds. We have two with a down hill stream that runs between the two. My daffidils and tulips have been so pretty!
Tesoro chicks are 11 weeks old this week! Should be flying off the nest pretty soon!!
That osprey at BWO sure looks funny and small sitting in the middle of the empty platform. He had better get busy.
Osprey at BWO.
PAULA---The MALE has been flapping his wings a few times!!!
Is that more feeding going on at BWE??
It looks like it, Paual, but I didn't see any food brought in.
ATLANTA'S MEI LIN is alone eating BAMBOO----She has grown so much!!----The separation seems to be going VERY well!!!
Danelle - Try more than one bluebird box. They also like them in a sunny spot, where they can see everything. My boss says you can have some of his! He has 4 fighting over one box!
Time to go read the paper. Keep good notes if a feeding takes place. Time for the middle child to get breakfast!
ATLANTA SITE shows MEI LIN sitting in the sun room under the hammock (which holds a huge colorful ball) eating from a large pile of bamboo!!---It is AWESOME---seems to be enjoying herself!!!
NORMA I don't see any panda; just a huge ball in the middle of the hammock. No room in the hammock for anything else. LOL
Happy Birthday SGT Ryan. Thank you for all you do to keep us safe. Mema Jo will give you a really big hug from all of us when she sees you again.
Eagle at BWO.
While the parents are away, the children will play!
GOOD FRIDAY A.M. EVERYONE Already 73° here, that will really jump start the cherry blossoms.
Good Morning all I slept in ...must have needed it.

Feeding time on our nest.
SUZANNE Your Pa. falcon is nesting on the eggs.
Belle doing her best to feed the 3 peeping pecking chicks!
#1 keeps pecking away, but it isn't detering the others from eating!
Actually not sure it that is the middle child pecking on the biggest or not....
MORNIN' JILL---HELEN---& IRISF!!! If these PARENTS intend to enter the nest this way all the time----Well---they may have to attend a 'parent training' class!!-----I THINK IT ISN'T A GOOD EXAMPLE for the EAGLETS!!!---
I have to admit!!!---My children often picked on each other at the dinner table too!!----
I don't rewind, but when both adults were there they were fighting over something, and, I think it was taken out of the nest.
CANDY---MEI LIN---(BUTA BUTA) has probably tired of eating bamboo & is some where napping!!---ho!---That's here favorite thing---A NAP!!
HEY JILL!!---What did you think of that exciting game last night?
Belle was in the nest...Lib brought in a fish...Belle ran over and grabbed it from him and took it to the back of the nest....that's what she fed the chicks..
It looks as if two of them are in a huddle, plotting against the other one, or is it just brotherly love. :)
BW chicks look good today!
Just a little family spat between Liberty and Belle. No one family is perfect. :):)
MORNIN' DANA!!---Bet you feel like a NEW WOMAN!!----How many folks can say they were awakened by EAGLE WINGS flapping!!----COOL OR NOT!!
Hi there MITS and JILL. MITS you came on to see your first feeding of the day. That is entertainment.

SAFE JOURNEY HOME SUZANNE!!---GIVE MY LOVE TO 'LADY G' & HER CREW!!
p.s.---Has 'G' had a hair cut recently???---ho!------ENJOY WEEKEND!!!!
I think our eagles are finally giving up to sleep. They are slowly falling over to a resting position. One just gave a big yawn. So peaceful. I take that back they are up again and down. One chick just can't seem to get in a comfortable position.
Hey MITS, It is finally 73 here now too. Just wish the wind wasn't blowing the yellow pollen all over outside the house. :(
Happy Birthday to Sgt. Ryan
Happy Birthday to you
Jo pass these Birthday wishes on to your grandson please. ( :
Did the middle child get his/her share of food the last feeding? Should have gotten more than the others!
we don't have pollen yet, but it is coming...going to be much cooler tomorrow
The 'LITTLE PRINCE' has turned his back on us this a.m.---He is really making the 'bamboo dance'!!
He is one "COOL PANDA"!!!--I don't think he will ever change!!!

BLOGGER COP JUST GOT ME......
Have a safe trip home SUZANNE. Talk to you Monday. Have a wonderful weekend.

Geese are flying over again, sound really close
divers!
Whoa! They have zoomed in on the Eagle at Maine. WOW!
LOL! Those geese sound funny!
BTW, where are those geese that are in the Osprey nest that you all are talking about?
Link, please....I couldn't get any more hooked on geese than I am on these eagles, right?
THAT was short & sweet!!---When the site came up!!------I saw EYES & GOGGLES upon against the screen!!---I had to stop & think!!--What is this?? ---Haven't seen them for a while!!---
PAULA I sure hope they have two chicks in PH. Poor Limuw last year was all alone for the whole time.
That is a beautiful shot of the Maine eagle. Look at the snow coming down.
Here is the site with the geese. There aren't any there right now.

MORNIN' MOVIN'JIM!!---Wondered if you over slept this a.m.---Usually see you before SUZANNE flies away!!
Temp is up to 66 this a.m.--but skies are getting darker now!!!
Oh, I hope you are watching the Main cam....it is sooo pretty!!!!
I don't know that I have ever heard of geese nesting off of the ground, but anything is possible. They usually build their nest right on the ground.
I opened it when you said there was an eagle there, Lolly. Thanks for letting us know.
Ir must be getting warm in the nest!!---Notice the EAGLETS aren't huddled together---they are sleeping a part from each other!!
GOOD FRIDAY TO YOU JIM! Chicks on our nest are zonked out after a busy morning.
Don't know if the BW pair brought more fish today, and I can't see anything left in the nest, but the chicks appear to have some food in their crops.
I wanted to suggest you read and view the new postings at the Channel Islands and at the SD Panda sites if you haven't already.

That poor eagle sits there with the wind blowing all around and the snow is still coming down. Too cold to look at for me.
I think I heard the dogs
Did anyone else.... If not
I'll check out my neighbor's pup
That poor bird in Maine is now doing nestorations. My heart goes out to her.
the dogs and geese have been making noise today, Jo, also heard the kiddies playing, and construction going on, and planes flying over...here come the geese again
Hey JO if I haven't said it before good Friday to you and yours.
Yes MITS there have been quite a few gesse flying north today on eagle cam. That is a GOOD sign for warming temps. hopefully. Tell that to DEB and the eagle in Maine, tho.
Yep, dogs are barking, birds are singing and geese are heading north on our site. All is right with the world, until the next feeding.:)
Guess I'll go and show my hubby that my fingers aren't stuck to the keyboard and get something done around here for now. BB
My temp is up to 32 now, but the clouds are back. I just want some sun that stays all day long. (Whine)
also, a constant stream of traffic on the gravel road below...just heard a car horn.
The first time I heard the geese, I was confused because I though they were outside. The geese have already been here and continued north. Ducks are here now and they aren't as noisy as geese.
If someone is beeping a car horn they must not know they are waking up our babies from their afternoon nap!
I saw where Geula asked about the cam where the geese are. Is that the BWO?
some get a rerun of that, both flew up and landed in nest with a fish
that was awesome and very loud
If all 3 are sleeping - Mom & Dad
just sitting there after a fly in... What is all the chirping noise - Or can they chrip & not move their beaks.
I was thinking it was whatever they brought in...........
Both back! Lib brought in another fish and Belle just snagged it from him!
no
Sharon it is Minn, but it is on the CO, site I think, will check for you
SHARON---It's the CO site!
they both flew up together, like there was a chase, Jo if you hear sound and no moment, time to restart it
