Well i am sure the eagles here
have hatched there eggs by the way
they acted when they changed places
yesterday.The male was on the nest
when i went to check on them and
when the female flew in to change
places they both stood and looked
into the nest,then when the female
got onto the nest she closed her
talens so not to stick the chicks
as the talens are very sharp,i saw
this same thing last year when they
hatched there egg and raised one
eaglet.I can't wait to see them
feed the young and be able to see
there little heads.I feel like a
proud dad,This is way-cool.

Morning, everybody. Back for a few. See we have leftovers in the BW nest. So why didn't the parents feed the kids while they were there a few minutes ago?
Glad you guys got live feed back, but our forever cam is still locked up. Oh well, I'm sure they're working on it.

LOL, Norma, I'm here, but working. I was on other computer for a while, and most of the day yesterday. Gonna go back in a few.
3 eggs showing at BC one parent left the other came right into the nest. Parent turning eggs. 1st should hatch I believe around or after April 4th.
MEGAN---Every thing was wet this a.m.---expected to have rain most of the day!!-----off & on!!
Well Norma if we just keep checking the nest out. The tell tell signs will be there meaning "goose sitting on egg" ( :

Happy to have missed the live feed being down...Have had a few rain drops here in the valley - forecast is for more rain...Really good news & sights from BWE...Dave-hope those chicks soon pop their head(s) up so you can count them...You mentioned a scope & also that the talons were being curled..You will probably soon see them.
Now the pic on the live feed is better! Hope the 30sec cam soon comes up for those needing it!

GOOD MORNING ALL YOU HAPPY EAGLE/PANDA WATCHERS! I have been trying since 8:30am to get on here and was having trouble.
After I saw our nest was ok, I went immediately over to BWE and saw Lisa's comments which I brought over and then read the blog and saw that you had all been informed already. That is at least a start and good news for this am. TWO FISH IN NEST AND SHE HAD PICS OF THE CHICKS GETTING SOME!
OH DANA!!----I check the DONKEYS every day----Only a few (5 or 6) there now! One needs to check that group early!!!

I logged on to this website after someone wrote in the journal junction and recommended it. I now log on and bring up the video every morning as soon as I get to work. I keep it minimized on my desktop so I can check in on these guys often. I very much enjoy watching these beautiful birds take care of their babies! Thank you!

I see it is just our three chicklets sleeping in our nest. Spring is here as I also heard geese on the Shepherdstown live cam. I am listening to ospreys calling over my house, but don't think I have any takers on the nest across the street by the canal. :(

Hi everybody! Both parents at BW, and looks like one of them brought a good sized fish for a change. Now they just need to share it with the kids!!! Well, think that was dad that left. Hope mom doesn't eat all the fish herself.
The fish are starting to come in. Thank you Lord. Just hope they feed the chicks.
Paula are you going on that trip IWS where they are meeting up with Hula girl and meeting up with Dr. Sharpe?
I hope BWE gets live cams next year. It makes it so much easier to see what is going on. Duh, do you think? Maybe they will get lucky.

Both BWE chicks up and waiting for food. Can't tell if they are being fed or if the parent has eaten all the fish. I will imagine that they are being fed.
And our eaglets are looking fat and lazy!! I am so grateful that we have the parents that we do. Don't think I could stand what BW has been going through with ours.

Thanks, Norma, I'll be careful. Don't know about the geese mating, but I kinda think that osprey cam is really gonna be a goose cam! They have been there too frequently, and I saw some of the pics from yesterday, and in 2 of them one of the geese was honking at something near by. Don't know if they osprey were around trying to claim the nest or not, couldn't see, but the goose sure didn't give it up! Think it would be kinda cool, I've never watched geese hatch!
Duck your head kids ... wonder what she/he took out of nest. Maybe she thought the food was too messy to do in the house lol Will defur or defeather outside of house...( :

Good morning everyone! I was so happy this morning to catch up on nest happenings to read that BWE got food!! I was very worried about them and they were in my thoughts last night. I hope this is the beginning of a successful hunting streak for that family :) Our chicks are looking pretty snazzy today as well. Also, thanks for posting the PA wildlife cam link last night-that is also very cool to watch.

The good news in our nest is that we know there is enough food for all 3....so that pecking doesn't really worry me.

I have been watching BW, and altough the chicks have had sone food, parent seems to be eating most of it, they need more brought in, but at least they look perkier
I think the one chick is still getting fed at BWE.
