Greg, naturalist here had knee surgery week ago. Called this AM to say he'd be in after therapy & that meds he is taking, Daludin (or something) is 4 times stronger than morphine!!! Stay Off the Roads!!!
News from Dundelin Osprey cam: SUNDAY, MARCH 8, 2009
first fledgling... The first fledgling is up is very active!!!! He/she is spreading wings and is quite vocal. The parents are busy feeding and of course we all are anxious to see when #2 and #3 appear.
What a shame the camera is not operational, but next year this time we should be seeing the whole process.....
I don't think I greeted everyone yet. I was up earlier, checking for new chicks, etc.; decided I needed to rest my back a little more; and............. Well, I'm saying 'good morning' now. Hahaha.
Well Paula Lib gave you your request. Magnified the 2 photos I took..I think they look pretty much the same no point in posting. Taking a nap I work the overnight. TTYL

Mystery solved---I had heard what I thought were tundra swans early this morning. Greg, the naturalist, was still at home 5 mi. downriver & heard them too. Saw almost a mile up, through the clouds, 2 Vs of them, about 400 - 500!!!They were going about 60 mph on S wind, so should be in Great Lakes by now!!

I downloaded a new version and it has Windows Live Mail with it that you can enter all of your email accounts into and get all the mail in one place. I love it. I can get my Frontier mail as well as hotmail, yahoo mail or whatever. I like it a lot better than Outlook Express and I have been a fan of OE for a long time.
Well, I was just looking at my hotmail email and in the junk folder it had an "ecard from american greetings". It says it contained a virus and deleted it. I couldn't find anywhere who it was from. Wonder what is up with that????

Unrest at Redoubt Volcano continues. Seismicity is at low levels compared to the past month and is dominated by small discrete earthquakes.

Well, in checking further, there is a virus being spread that way. Thank God for virus scans!
They had that greeting card virus going around last year; so if there's no ID on it, it likely is a virus carrier.
I probably sent you one on your B-Day, but I believe the sender is in the subject line on mine...
