yeah could be, the cam operates on batteries, and is over 7 miles from the summit...amazing, and don't worry not going to go there and compare this to other cams we watch;)
2009-03-26 13:45:12 Seismicity is still elevated. Partly cloudy Hut webcam views over the last hour show a vigorous plume emitting from the summit of the volcano and trailing south. The webcam also shows fresh lahar deposits on the Drift Glacier. There have been no other large explosions since this morning's large eruption at 9:24AM.
Chrissy and Hedgie Thanks for your votes on the pictures. I find them quicker and easier on my Blog but I spotted Chrissy's now as I was reading backwards...trying to read some good news aobut CO mom...glad she has some food close by and eggs appear dry.
Pee’ ech, the male Golden Eagle, an educational bird with the IWS, laid an egg. Oops! They are going to have the local Tongva tribe members come up with a better name. Pee’ ech means "Little Brother." In the meantime, they are calling her Heidi.
Thanks to Glo and Paula for posting the TH videos. Gene and I watched and we had to laugh at the two parents...didn't seem to know what to do! To all of you who post these videos of events that not all of us can see, THANK YOU. You are all so special for taking the time to do that for us!
Hi, Jo. I spent quite some time trying to submit the names that we have been calling the BWE eaglets, only to discover that they were the very FIRST ones entered:( Snow White and Frosty...TAKEN!
Thanks, Mits. Belle was spread out tenting, and then I looked again and the eagle had its back to us, but still looked like an eagle behind it covering Hidey...now looks like just one...must have seen a shadow that looked like a wing.
good, stick a fork in it, it is done....I have not enjoyed the writing this year at all, and the acting has been lame, guess you don't have to care when you are out of a job
Enjoyed reading everyone's comments and seeing all the new pictures and videos.
I see the Jury is still out on Lynn's Duo in the Trees.... maybe something passing through to another climate...Hope you see them again, Lynn, and can get another picture ☺
Lay out some Red Clothes Tomorrow IS Friday xo Peace, Love and Prayers ♥
Good evening and good night to my friends of fine feathers and fur. I just returned from the "Making a Scene" production at Concord. My baby was so awesome. Sissy recorded it and as soon as she can figure out how to do it, you all will be able to watch it. More will be revealed!
Oh, hope I did not wake anyone. Shhh! I'll whisper!
Dr. appt. went well today. My cholesterol dropped like a rock. Funny what eating veggies will do!Went to hosp. and had knee x-rayed. Nothing wrong there. Next step will be a steroid shot for my knee. Lovely!

Dove Photo that resembles Lynn's Mystery bird
Lynn's birds do have the dove shape, but not the correct markings. Could they be pigeons?
TH parents really keeping the eaglet under wraps today! Hard to get a good peek!
lol..., doves, hawks, pigeons....wish I could help.
Could be a pigeon. They can be any color.
amazing view of Redoubt now....
would be nice to have sound there, huh, Deb?
my Dad raised and raced pigeons:)
Yes, it would be fun! I wonder if that is the mudflow we are seeing to the left side of the picture.

differnt view now of Redoubt, must only refresh every 10 mins
Yes, 10 minutes is right. I think the camera is at a station that monitors earthquakes and such.

Deb, are you looking at the Redoubt pic now...it is blue and white.
I saw it just before it switched to this one, weird!
now back to regular pic at Redoubt
maybe they where trying to get a better picture of the flow, if they have those capabilities to do that with the cam.
Eagle up, our nest

Enjoyed the TH hatching videos that you all captured
Hi, Jo. I spent quite some time trying to submit the names that we have been calling the BWE eaglets, only to discover that they were the very FIRST ones entered:( Snow White and Frosty...TAKEN!
81 flew off, nest is visible again. I see one eaglet moving. Trying to see if there are two.
guess IWS needs some sex education classes:)
I would give anything to hear Andrew's solo this evening. Sharon is so proud!
Hope we hear from her when she returns
this evening.
thought there were only 2 eggs at PA yesterday.....Norma kept seeing 3
I would be here longer but need to get this leg up - lots of activity today has caused some swelling.
BBL
OH, my bad...just discovered a video by DEB too. You girls ROCK!
Mits, just goes to show, even the experts can't tell the difference!
That's okay, Wanda, too much to keep up on.
I am watching the TH videos and think there are two heads.
Test
What is wrong with the blog?
Now I am getting through.
Where do we go to see the TH videos?
both parents our nest
They did some kind of maintenance. It wasn't supposed to happen for another 15 minutes, but they must have started early.
Lolly, they were doing maintenance on the blog!
Ok, thank you!
Deb, I thought I saw two at TH, also...but then, I have been SEEING THINGS for 2 weeks now.LOL
Both eagles still in our nest...
TH - still looks like one chick...second egg may have pipped
OK, are there 2 adults in our nest or am I seeing things?
Lolly, Deb has one video on her blog...I have 2 videos on youtube...link is on previous page...hang on...
Lolly - link is at 1:13pm today,
Glo had one on her blog too
I only see one eagle
must have missed the other one
I think I see part of a spider nest starting again
Thanks, Mits. Belle was spread out tenting, and then I looked again and the eagle had its back to us, but still looked like an eagle behind it covering Hidey...now looks like just one...must have seen a shadow that looked like a wing.
BWO UPDATE....
Nest Update
03/26/09:
Our last sighting of an osprey was on March 24.
We've heard that other local ospreys were slow to return this year, so hopefully ours are just taking their time making their way north.
When I first put it up, my eyes thought there were two too.
I saw Spidey earlier...
raccoon party at Pix
get the spray can.
I heard they need fly spray at NBG already....all those fish are attracting the flies!
it was gross today.....good thing they don't have sound....it would have been buzzing like crazy
How close in NBG nest to the office area??? Wouldn't think flies after the nest fish would travel too far!!
Flies can find dead fish anywhere!
well Paula, only 2 more ER's to go.
I know :( One tonight...then not until like April 19th...is that correct?
oh, don't know about that....sure like to drag things out.
Onscreen guide says Series Finale is next week.
good, stick a fork in it, it is done....I have not enjoyed the writing this year at all, and the acting has been lame, guess you don't have to care when you are out of a job
Time for Grey's. Later, gators.
TH videos are now on the EM Blog
Eaglet Momsters Blog
Thanks, Hedgie....maybe they said April 9, which is 2 weeks...so we'll see!
Watching Grey's now, too.
OUr eagle is up
Belle settled back down over chicklet
Is Grey's a re-run?
You're right Hedgie, it's next week.
NO, it's new.
Ok...thought it looked familiar. I guess it will be going off for the season too.
They haven't said yet when the last Grey's show is going to be for this year
Night ALL
Prayers for Jo and Red and GeeGee
and others that need them also Sharon.

Just a quick stop to say Good Night, All

Good evening and good night to my friends of fine feathers and fur. I just returned from the "Making a Scene" production at Concord. My baby was so awesome. Sissy recorded it and as soon as she can figure out how to do it, you all will be able to watch it. More will be revealed!
Looking forward to it, Sharon. Ask for help from some of our talented videographers:)
Belle is awake and our baby is wiggling
'Night, Margy! We didn't even know ya' tonight! Guess you have to work again tomorrow...boo. Hope it's a quiet day for you.
ER was a little better than it has been lately. Not sure about Grey's schedule, either...next week is a repeat, and nothing else showing past that.
Basketball at halftime, so my preferred news won't be on for awhile....going to go ahead and get my bath.
Hope everyone sleeps well, and wakes to a bright sunshiny day!
I liked ER too.
Gnite, all!
Hugs to all ♥
Iliked Grey's and Private Practice was really steamy!
I guess I am alone on here, so I will take my leave and see you all in the morning.

Time for bed. Nite all! Sweet dreams!
Night from me, also. Sharon, what fun for us to see the video. Spidey is out and well tonight, not a bit of freezing as he darted around.
** GOOD NIGHT **
*** ALL ***
Everything looks quiet this morn, except that Belle has just raised her head from under her wing.
Spidey's web were nowhere to be seen last night??? But tonight they're visible everywhere! You can see through them fairly well tonight.

Good Morning Eagleland
Our chick is getting its 1st feeding of the day.
Parent laying back down over our chick to keep it nice and warm.
BWE chicks don't need a parent at night to keep them warm. Their pin feathers are keeping them warm.
They are getting fed at BWE.
COME ON OVER KIDS!!---STEVE has given us a NEW FOGGY THREAD!!!
