"0" birthdays are the best! At our church we celebrate all "0" birthdays. We have a covered dish brunch, bring hilarious cards that honoree reads aloud. We give money instead of gifts to a designated church fund,. We laugh and laugh and it is sooo much fun.
yes it is, Sissy, as long as I can get around, fine, but if something goes wrong and quality of life sucks...hope the Lord will take me, do not want to be a burden to anyone....
I am telling you that I would bet cash money we have an eaglet! There is no doubt in my mind at all! So, what I am saying, is that I am not hesitating to speculate!

Oh Sharon I just get chills...I was gettign well pretty discouraged for our pair as each day was passing. Gosh what a difference a post or two make. I will not be going back to sleep for sure and have a headache as was sound asleep when doorbell wrang but I am thrilled or that doorbell anyway. :)
Oh I don't necessarily understand either why something dies for something else to live but "It is what it is" and we we got a family to feed now of course. Yippee!!!!
Seriously, you cannot name a chick after the toilet- LOO- you are going to give this chick a complex... years of therapy may follow... I'm going back outside- supposed to be working.
Well we don't exactly know how we want to spell it but our hearts surely know St Patricks Day has been the Luck of the Irish for us for sure and there is a very special lady here who we all love and has carried that Loo thing with her for years now right up to the last nest visit where if I remember correctly you all were gonna jsut lock her in there so the eagles would come out. Jumping for joy in Illinois :)
No we aren't gonna name it Loo LOL just in honor of someone with that loving nickname sort of following her aorudn OK so now we need to tuck in Hoover. I personaly think a blind "spot" or two works too. Well its our grandchick whatever its called. I surely do NOT care...I am so very glad its here
Yep sharon almost sent an email to you to not put anything too sad on the Blog but I too was startign to ache for Belle and lib too but knew she would be sitting through rain again soon and wondered if there was any reason for her to keep sitting through all kinds of wind and weather. Well they knew it was still time to sit and wait.
And I am not goign to call Herbert Hoover or Perry Como until I get the OK...thats my story and I'm sticking to it. But I am gonna tell the world on the Feed tonight so yep here i go again. Celebrating and it feels good. Very good.

Did you see for sure the baby? I studied the picture and wondered again about a talon. However, Belle is acting very interested in the egg cup.

In all honesty, I am loving this 50 thing. I think it is really pretty cool that I made it this far. Didn't think I would see 30.
Sissy, I'm facing 60 in May!!! As is Dana...we share the same day!
looking side to side,,,if we can't have live feed, wonder if they can get the seconds down to 10 or 15

Sissy, Jack just brought me the mail. Margy sent me pictures of open house. One is of you and I. Not a bad picture for two young chicks!!!
MARGY.......thanks for the pictures!!!! I love them!
Ooh, good one Mits!
I didnt get any picture but I hope we have a hatch
yes it is, Sissy, as long as I can get around, fine, but if something goes wrong and quality of life sucks...hope the Lord will take me, do not want to be a burden to anyone....
I am telling you that I would bet cash money we have an eaglet! There is no doubt in my mind at all! So, what I am saying, is that I am not hesitating to speculate!
Maine forum is hoping a hatching is going on. They, too, notice that she is acting funny and looking into the egg cut a lot.
My money's on you Sharon
good grief! cup
my money is on the sure thing....The chick!!!!!
Lolly are you having problems today?:)
The chick is there, just being hid at the moment!

Did anyone put a pic of what they think is CHICK on their blog?
She is watching something under her. Something is going on

Boy, was Belle glaring at us, or what?!

I am ready for a feeding. Start feeding the little eaglet we all want to see!
Well, I still have no doubt that we have a baby!
Anne Marie, there's NO WAY you're going on 70!! You look like a youngster!!
Up again and looking------so let us take a look MOM
See that chick?

NOW LADIES AND GENTS, THAT IS A BONAFIDE BABY!!
maybe it will be a double hatching 2 and 3:)
One babe and two eggs. mail coming
It is time for a switch if not a feeding. Come on......!
Think she's calling out to Lib..."bring food!"
I put up those two screen captures on my whatever blog...
I'm calling for a double hatching too MITS.
might as well do 2:)
Was doing something to something in cup and it wasn't an egg unless it was awfully deep!!!
feeding time
OKAY, here's the other adult eagle..
FOOD???
Hope all is safe, all five fingers and toes. : )
both
BOTH, I sure hope there is food!
Or switching time
The easter bunny will supply the first meal!
Maybe it's my old eyes, but I can't see anything definite when she gets up yet.
BUT, she is absolutely moving and acting and setting as though she has a hatchling.
Where is Liberty with his huge carp I wonder....
C(°ٿ°)D
Jim
Deb, what does the "forum that never sleeps say"?
Looks like a small kangaroo was brought to the nest ☺
rabbit again:)? didn't we have that the other day?
Food delivery! Now feed a chick let us seeeeeeeee!!!!!!!
There's Liberty. But it doesn't look as though he brought food.
C(°ٿ°)D
Jim
Yes, he did, Jim-
if eaglet just hatched does not have to be feed anything for 24 hours,,,
it was a massive food delivery:)
switch at the nest
They didn't notice the cracked egg yet, but are watching the up and downs.
my screen went black
Will she get up NOW and let us see???? Food could be the charm....
LIb flew out-
Now that is too nasty to feed the baby on the first feed. Go get us a fish, would ya?
Maine "very cautiously optimistic."
It look like a rat. a big one
Still no doubt here that we have a baby!
I'm with you, eagle eye... that's probably the chick I saw last Friday anyway...lol.....
And now we have to stare at that?
thanks Hedgie for being so sweet.
tears here..man i hope you all are right. I was napping and door bell wrang so of ocurse had to check computer screen too. Saw the photo you all are talking about and libs visit and present. I was surely hoping when I opened the blog youwould be discussign hatchling and you are. Oh please please please be right!!!
even the eagle looked like it was grossed out with the food.
Glo, we are right. There is a youngun right under in that egg cup!
She's half mantling with no rain, and she isn't drawing the dry grass around her anymore.
I can't see it yet, but I bet there's one chick at least.

Going to check out pictures I took. THAT IS NOT A RAT IT IS A RABBIT....
Yes, you can tell it's a rabbit by the hind legs.
looks like a little cottontail.
I still think Small Kangaroo
... NOT ☺ ☺
Take care you all...xoxo
God Bless America if that has not already been said
and Steve and all the NCTC folks...
xo TTFN
Looks like the kill my brothers used to bring home after hunting. As a kid we at that... ?!
I don't want to look.
well it does jump, Margy
well still not as bad looking as HI road kill earlier....which has been half eaten.
TMI
Sure looks like she wants that food, but.....
And chicks don't have to eat as soon as they are hatched either. Can go 24 hours.
Oh I don't necessarily understand either why something dies for something else to live but "It is what it is" and we we got a family to feed now of course. Yippee!!!!
Have no fear, there is no shortage of rabbits around here. Gotta go back outside- she won't be able to resist that rabbit forever. AHA- she's up!
Everybody believe me now?

Did she feed the eaglet??
Yeah, I think it's a rabbit, too!
A couple of bites could easily have happened in that time.
Does anyone think a second egg looks a little different as well. Just owndering. Remember year before last Kent hatched their 2 hours apart.
Welcome sweet baby...boy/girl LOL have we been waiting and watching for you
Think it needs to be something like Patrick or Patricia Lou or LuLu
and 30 second refresh is not always 30 seconds sometimes shorter and sometimes longer
Up again.
PattiLu :)
I am so excited, we are grandparents again!
We need our LIVE FEED so bad!!!!!
Hey, Sis, where is my 5 bucks?
well live feed was not working, not sure how that would help?
Patty Loo or PL for short.
Food in the nest, and neither parent is eating it. I think that says it all. They are saving it for the little one(s).
I meant we need it working! Ain't got no money Sher, sorry bout your luck!
Seriously, you cannot name a chick after the toilet- LOO- you are going to give this chick a complex... years of therapy may follow... I'm going back outside- supposed to be working.
What happened to Hoover?
She looks at it as if she cant decide if its worth the effort or not. :)
Ths day in history....Perry Como's record "Catch a Falling Star" became a gold record. Star would be a good name.
No we aren't gonna name it Loo LOL
just in honor of someone with that loving nickname sort of following her aorudn OK so now we need to tuck in Hoover. I personaly think a blind "spot" or two works too.
Well its our grandchick whatever its called. I surely do NOT care...I am so very glad its here
something is going on
Up again.
well when I mentioned that name, however it wes going to be spelled to her last week when she was in the hospital, she was not in favor of it.
checking on chick?
hmmmm nice idea about Perry Como ...we sure had to hold out hope a long time...but we never did let it fade away...
Starbucks since someone abviously is in debt to another for 5 bucks LOL
thats a joke we can;t name it Starbucks the coffee is good but the company hasn't been good to its employees at all
Pay Up Sis!!!!
Starbucks!! Perfect!! I am so hooked on that coffee!!
Oh well if she isn't in favor of it then it is a No No... plan 2.
Look how much Belle is beside that rabbit
That sure looks like a chick to me in that last shot.
I am so grateful we have at least one baby. Year before last was so heartbreaking for us and I was so afraid we were fixing to go through that again!
One thing is for sure...the cam is in the wrong place. I mean does she ever give us anything but her back!!!!!
Whats all the fussing about.? Can anyone see?
not this year. Lolly.
I do believe we have a baby!!!!!
Now I see two eggs, I think
I say call Paula, that is a feeding, don't you think!
Is she feeding?????
I saw two eggs too.
lol.....It has too be more definitive for me to call her:)
Looked like foot was on the rabbit before she turned around and then head was down into cup....
Ok, we'll wait. I am pretty convinced, we might not see anything better than that for awhile.
Up again.
LOL....I loved your comment, Mits, about not calling Paula until we are more positive.
I haven't seen it yet with my own eyes, but if it's true, I vote for "Miracle"!
Gonna sit back and watch for a while now I am not speechless but I am gonna shut up :).
well, if it is alive we will see it eating...
Up again....and look at how her wing is cradling the nest.
not going to call Suzanne either, might be too late to call her anyhow , she likes to rest on the weekends.
radar shows a few showers coming into the area.
Maine thinks they saw a feeding too, picture coming up shortly. Did anyone here get some pictures?
And I am not goign to call Herbert Hoover or Perry Como until I get the OK...thats my story and I'm sticking to it. But I am gonna tell the world on the Feed tonight so yep here i go again. Celebrating and it feels good. Very good.
I have got to get some work done. BBL
I think I may have a picture of a bloody beak over near the eggwell but haven't magniied it yet to be sure.
Caltrans very active too up down up down etc etc.
I'm sure we have a chick and Belle fed it. But how do they block all possible views by the camera so effortlessly?
C(°ٿ°)D
Jim
SPLIT COMING UP!!!
I have the same picture, Lolly, I'll load them soon.
Yep, it's raining here now and at the nest- light showers, we need them badly.
