I want to thank our early morning watch group for these special comments.

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 364 of 364DANELLE Thank you so much. I was hesitating picking up the phone but now I know Sandra will be aware of it.
I guess I hit the Split lol
Should we have a poll on names? Or just let them happen?
actually, what REALLY bugs me is the fact that the live video worked for 6 hours while I WASN"T here and went crashing after I woke up from my nap! But at least i could see what was happening before I left the house.
I think we may want to wait until we get all 3; however, all of a sudden a name will be said and will seem to fit. Poll would be fine with me, Carol.
Oops, wind caught her a little bit and flipped her tail end up!
DANELLE---Just TOO exciting!!---PLEASE give SANDRA my best wishes!!---I'm glad she will be back with you!!!---Have her on prayer list at study group in ROMNEY!!---(Her MOTHER told me she had honeymooned at THE NEW CENTURY HOTEL in ROMNEY!)---about 70 years ago!!----
WIGGLE...WIGGLE...WIGGLE! That egg cup is so DEEP!
Stick is back! It's a Y stick, if he moves one way, he gets between the Y and gets it on his back. or hers, don't know which this is, looks like Lib.
DANA---In all our EXCITEMENT forgot our DONKEYS!!---There were only a dozen or so when I last looked----ho!!----Catch them tomorrow!!
SUZANNE---That's what they do best!!----I watched her last night until about 11---DAVID L. was on---Those 2 fish were laying in front of her---I thought she might eat one---ignored them---but every now & then she would move some grass, etc.---
Wow, checkout Scarface now. Won't be long snow will be coming down so hard he'll disappear behind the snow wall.
DIVER!!
West end Egg exchange is this afternoon. Haven't found a time yet
Paula why don't we have a poll to name the chicks after they all hatch??
Suz - the eagles switched. That is Belle on the nest now
Aww, Belle is trying to get a little nap in.
Hee hee CarolI just posted my thought when I came back into room. Had to tell relatives about our chick. Then started reading comments backwards....then I seen your post....Hey Carol why don't we have a poll lol hee heee
Thanks, Paula. The way this 30 sec update is acting, they could switch a half dozen times and I wouldn't know it!
Steven can we fix the 2 1/2 minute update back to the 30 sec update? It really is a very long time between pics, and so much can happen now! Or rather IS happening now.
Both BW chicks are sitting up and have their tiny wings out.
SLOTH BEARS are out at the NZOO!---One is down eating at the dirt cones!!----(there are insects in them)----In the wild--HELEN told me-- these cones have TERMITES in them!!
TURKEY VULTURE at BWO BOX----
2 TINY EAGLETS ALONE IN THE NEST

SUZANNE---WANT TO BE SURE & WISH YOU A SAFE JOURNEY HOME ON THIS BEAUTIFUL EXCITING DAY!!---LOVE PATS TO ALL YOUR FURRY FRIENDS!!!!

HELEN---Just wanted you to know that----THINGS WEREN'T THE SAME THIS MORNING WITH OUT YOU!!!---Had you in my thoughts all morning!!---LOVE to your 2 BEAUTIES!!!
BW chicks have been alone a lot this morning. In all the excitemant of our new chick, I forgot to tell you all that last night I haeard spring Peepers (frogs) in the pond down the road from my house. Spring is truely on its way now!!
That is good news Carol.
I just wish I could hear the little
chirpper in our nest!
AHHHHH! CAROL---That is a SURE SIGN of spring!!----I wanted to ask what kind of birds have you seen lately--& have of the flowers started blooming?-----
BBILW Come on Bobble Head #2
I wish Big Mama Owl would get up so I can see her little ones!
Scarface is almost covered now. That snow is really blowing and coming down!
In honor of the little frogs - I changed my picture. I love hearing them at night! I agree, JO, it sure would be a treat to hear our little chick. NORMA - The most recent big bird I saw was the hawk being mobbed by the crows. I've been looking real hard, on my ywice-daily drive along the river, for the eagles I have often seen there and for the ospreys who should soon return - but haven't seen any yet. I have snow crocuses and dwarf irises blooming like crazy and saw a few early daffodil buds yesterday morning.
The humming bird is on the nest---but she straightened up fast & has been watching up & around---Must have seen another bird, etc.---
Thanks for the wishes, Norma! I'll give them pats.
Danelle, so do I! Saw the shells, then more shells, but she's always on the babies. Which is a good thing, but I sure want to see them too.
Time for me to hit the road. All have a great eagle/panda day. Let's see if we get another little one tonight.
Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
I think the second egg in the hummer nest has hatched!
Hummer feeding time!
I see it too Carol!
CAROL---I noticed your beautiful irises----2 sunny days in a row & I think it's May---ho! Red bud through there is always breath taking!!---That's 1st of May or so--I think!!
Has anyone seen bluebirds around? I swear I saw two at my house.
A fly in to our nest
Big fish brought in
Another Whale of a Fish!!
Okay, I am studying Belle and Lib. Who is on the nest and who brought in the fish?
Since dad is Liberty and mom is Belle, I think baby should be named America. I thought about naming it after a president born in W. Va but there weren't any LOL! Could just be any president...kind of hard when you don't know if its a male or female.
Looks like I got here just in time for lunch!!
And there is always Independence for a name, could be Indy for short LOL!
An absolute whale of a fish. I think that was Belle that brought the fish in. That is her favorite sitting spot.
Belle is on the eggs/chick. Lib brought Lunch.
lol.. I've been planting seeds, I'd call her Petunia!!
Thanks for the info! Looks like no one is ready to dig in yet.
BBL. Time for lunch
Maybe we will have a feeding. Would this be the first feeding?Things seem to happen very fast at the hummer nest. By the time you tell others, it's over. BW chicks still alone. I hope it's warm there!
BW chicks have been alone for a long time. Think Lib could carry them a fish?!
Looks like we all have some different names for the chick. Then there will be 3 all together to name awwwwwwwwwwwww such cuties ( :
Lib just flew out of nest.
Keep those names handy - sounds like we need a poll for sure....let's let them all hatch and get some food in their little bellies first!
No first feeding yet...remember, the chick absorbs the yolk in the egg...can go 24 hours with out a feeding right after hatching...
LOL look at Belle, picking at the fish tale....
Belle's gonna have a snack.. pulling fish towards her, not getting off egg cup.
WHOA!
That fish is still alive!!!
Well just flip my tail! She is giving it the eagle eye!
I hope someone is getting a video!
Daddy from BWE needs to take "fishing" lessons from Lib and Belle! LOL! Poor babes are left so mom can go get food for them all :{ Daddy could at least sit on the babes! He's a bit of a deadbeat dad LOL!
CAROL---There was a feeding yesterday----but I am pretty sure at that time there was only 1 hatch!!!----today--as you know--all eyes have been on EAGLETS!! ho!
WOW!---It is 57° here now!!
Was it flipping?
Eagle back at BWE.
BW Eagles? Where is that and where do I watch???? What about the owls someone was talking about?
Did that fish just jump?

She's fiddling with that darn stick again..that thing needs to go over the side of the nest.
Christie if you do want to watch the owls...send me an email & I'll forward a message with the links..

eaglet in view!
Well that old stick moved just so far
but seems to be out of their way for now.
Mom just stood up----2 eggs and Baby Bobble!! If he/she hadn't moved, it would be hard to see--so bright.
LOl - that chick is hard to see - need more clouds!
Here's Lib back in the nest!
Both in the nest
Lib is back.
ANd there he goes..
OMGosh did Lib just bring another fish!!!
Fly out
On top of the straw there?
YUp
Or was that the one from yesterday...maybe his arriving made it show up again...
Yes, it was already there. Sorry!
There's only 3 fish in the nest now! I think we need more!
I'm not sure, I definitely see a fish there.
Well, I'd rather see him brings fish than sticks!lol.. Back outside, BBL-
Uh Oh! Here we go again...
One fish, two fish....etc!
Saw Baby Bobble for a sec..Mom rearranging cup edge.
WHOA!!---That's one SMALL fish!!
BWE babies home alone again. Mom needs to hire a babysitter!
Paula we had said Star or Midnight since she was born at night.
Be Still My Heart >>..... Oh JOY JOY JOY A new EAGLET to Watch. I feel like I have a new grandfluff. Star or Midnight How lovely, which will it be. I am so "socited" as my granddaughter would say. May God Bless our little new one and bring our two other eggs to fruition. donna
whisper here everyone is asleep
Dana I just got up. LOL. Donna those were suggestions for the poll.
something is flying around...Belle calling out
Way back when the eggs were laid, Norma wanted to name one after an astronaut, can't remember which one, now.
I need to run and do some errands. If Glo comes back, somebody ask her to email me the directions on what to do with the video. (Or Paula) I have it on real player.
Hind end view...........
Is that our new baby to the left of Mom????????????? mauley
Deb It was the first pilot to break the sound barrier & of course he was a West Virginian... Chuck (Norma's going to come after me with her cane because I forget his last name!)
Deb did you or anyone see our eagle move the stick?
Backing out again............
Hi ya'll. Just wanted to let you know that Sandy just called me. She wants me to tell you all that she is doing well and how excited she is to have a little eaglet! :) She gives you her love.
Mauley - chick is in the bowl with the eggs.
I saw it earlier, she needs to move it again, it is swaying in the wind.
Chuck Yeager??
Jo - Belle has been pushing that stick around....are you talking about Chuck Yeager
Big Owl's chicks in view!
Lib is back with another fish!!!
Fly in to our nest moving stick and either moved fish or brought in another fish.
I just tried to click on the camera link to get the address for my cousin, can't get in. So what ever you do, don't lose the live feed, you might not make it back.
Poor Lady BW, she really got stuck with a poor provider. We should bring him over to take lessons on what he is supposed to be doing!
Danelle - Thank you so much for Sandra's message..We love her & miss her big time.
Deb/Paula - Yeager it is!
I guess that is another new fish.. What's the count up to now!
I think we need non-gender specific names.
Stick till needs moved some more.
Lady B definitely is a single mother!
What a beauty...another fish...up to 4 now!
Ooops, kinda moved that stick wrong! It's hitting Belle in the butt!
Are there 2 fish in the nest? Belle tried moving that branch...didn't go far.
Oops guess that was Lib moving the branch. Sometimes hard to tell because when they are closer to the cam they look bigger. Thought it was Belle on the egg cup until the one flew in...then he looked bigger LOL Oh well!
Two visible fish, are the others still there? I can't see them but could be coverd by new ones.
Panda Nap....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz BBL
Looks like the branch is sticking her in the butt!
Wish I could go take a panda nap! Time to hunt up some chocolate and work with another patient. BBL
I agree with you Carol.... That is usually one of the criteria for naming them on other sites.
What time do I tune in
Dr Peter Sharpe?
I may need to wait for the videos as there has already been a lot of
eggcitement here today!
I am hearing sea lions on the PH eagle cam LOL! And lots of wind and surf!
We could call the 1st born NC 2nd born T 3rd born C put them all together and you have NCTC...just a thought.
There's 4 fish in the nest
Daggone, feed froze on that last up
Have not heard a time for the WE exchange -
Anyone else notice the little thingy in the upper left blowing around also.
Saw bobblehead for just a sec...
Eagle back at BWE again.
Gone, again, at BWE.
That newest fish looks like a crappie or a perch
Some other names to toss out there:
Freedom, Pride, and Justice
Dana...I had thought of Freedom, too.
Paula...don't see anything other than branches blowing in the upper left. My picture is not real clear so hard to make out small details.
what about star for a name?
This blog is slow...better keep your eyes on West End....both were in nest...something scared one away...the other jumped up off eggs...now going back down....
Dr. Sharpie could be in area????
I don't think its blowing I think its crawling. At first I thought spidey early but now i thinkit looks sort of like a snail with feelers with antennae kind of things out the front LOL
I like Bobby/Bobbie - could be boy or girl (as in bobblehead).
And God knows, our first set definitely did not have regal names! Although, their names were perfect for them!
Paula, you have mail. And hopefully a clip.
Hmmmm crappie are darker, I think
Perch would be my guess
Heading out for awhile...BBL
I am talking about the part attached to the cam...the 'crooked finger' so to speak that comes out of the cam housing....doing it right now
Both eagles are at LW.
Is Norma still here? Did you know Sen. Byrd was released from the hospital?
NOt a big deal, just haven't seen it get blown around before....bbl
Jill you have mail
Eagle back at BWE. Hopefully will stay for awhile this time.
Good Afternoon Folks.. Just an eggciting day for everyone.. Not to mention last nights events of the hatching... I was thinking Star is a good name for our 1st baby because it was born at night and maybe Stripes for the second baby...(Although i remember Stripes was so bad in the Gremlin movie..lol) then the 3rd named Freedom because its the last to hatch to Freedom in the nest..lol just a thought...Plenty of food waiting for the feeding thats for sure... Belle seems to be trying to take a eagle nap.. Time to get ready for work.. BBL
Nope, gone again.
Paula sent it from yahoo and aol. One has to work.
Nice you could join us NIlla, I have been up for hours. 2 to be exact. LOL
Paula...I know you've gone but you may see this later...I see what you are talking about. A kind of "Z" shaped whitish fat worm type thing LOL! Never saw it move before, either, but did after I started looking to see what you meant. Maybe its a piece of branch that got stuck there? Moving a lot now.
Both eagles are at NBG, not zoomed in, so I can't tell which eagle is in the nest.
Paula, around 2:50 there was a good shot of the egg cup. My live feed chose that time to freeze up. I did get picture off the 30 second cam. I sent it out and added it to the album.
Someone on the Maine forum in the Norfolk section announced that we have at least two chicks. hmmm!
Theres a new thread.. come on over
Hey everyone just look at this picture - do you see one or two bobble heads? I might be crazy, but I think I see two...
go to the for the love of eagles forum...
http://www.hostingphpbb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3086&mforum=4eaglelovers#3086
copy and paste all on one line or someone please make it a tiny one???
The picture looks like two bobbleheads, but it just might just be a dark spot on another an egg.
Iris, I think your link is incomplete (error 404). Could you try to enter it again?

Jim
Reading Paula's comment about Crappie...
They vary greatly in color across the Country. In Minnesota they are medium dark green to almost black, but at Lake Henshaw in California, I once met a fisherman with a large string of large Crappie, which were light silver with black, round spots.
Everything else besides the color seems very similar.

Jim
Split!
Come on over!
7:12 pm, she moved! just saw the chick for a second.
