I've been wondering if our activities in the nest had caused any disturbances with the eagle pair. I'm told that they have been back since the work, most recently seen last night at 6:30 PM.

Our EAGLECAM now has the correct date today 9-13-07, but time is 4:38p.m.

CANDY Anne will be in Ketchikan on Saturday and at sea on Sunday and Monday arriving back in San Francisco 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

NCTC, PAULA...my cam has been saying July 11th since it went down, just now it has the correct date, but time is stuck on 4:38 p.m., but still blue screen, that is why I said we were making some progress.
I just finished catching up on fifty some emails and now am going looking for something for supper. If I don't fall asleep, I'll BBL

Squiggles has been alone quite a while now and in the same position, must be tuckered out.
I don't know if anyone is up, but if you are take a look at Pete's Pond.
I heard some thrashing and in a minute when I looked, one of the crocodiles had a medium size brown antelope by the nose in the water and was holding it under. It appeared to be dead by then, but the croc held on to it for some time. Then it pushed the carcass slowly to the right and off camera.

Beautiful night out, warm, 68 at my house, 70 here. Thought it was supposed to cool off today and get rain this afternoon, but not sure I heard correctly. Wasn't paying much attention to news/weather last night.
Gotta go catch up on all the cruising and news I missed.

Bai is asleep on her back, right arm up in the air...right foot up in the air...our little baby girl Squiggles is being held in Bai's left arm, she has Squiggles on her chest and arm. Way too cute. Oh how cool is that, another little baby girl. Exciting.
Ok, eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
Bai had an ear itch, then she changed positions, then rolled over, and Squiggles and she were sleeping touching butts. Too cute. But now Squiggles has her left leg caught under Bai and she's having a fit to get out from under mom! And she is certainly Squiggling! Wish mom would wake up. Wish Squiggles would make some noise.
Oh, she's trying so hard, just moving her body and her little hind leg. Oh, there comes the other leg. Well she brings it out, then puts it back. So maybe she's just scooting or something. Not sure what she's trying to do, but Bai moved a little, and Squiggles is just squiggling.
She's free! She made it out from under Bai, and now she's just wiggling all over the place.
Too funny, Bai got the hint. Guess that little baby girl was hungry, and that was maybe her version of kicking mom awake! Well, it worked. Sorta. Mom woke up, rolled over, sat up, then picked up Squiggles and laid back down. She now has the restless little girl between her paws, and looks like Bai is snuggling Squiggles. But also holding her kinda tight, too. Little one wants to go. Ok, Bai now washing her, and those little legs are moving! Come on mom, I'm hungry...
Nope, not working, Bai wants to sleep.
Guess Bai won that round. She is holding Squiggles very tightly and trying to get back to sleep.

Bai and Squiggles are still sleeping. Was going to say so is the puppy on the beach, but that pic is not updating! Donkeys are getting up, getting ready for breakfast. Didn't see an eagle in BW this morning, but wasn't watching at their usual arrival time, either. They could have been and gone for all I know.
Squiggles is alone...well was alone, mom just came back.
Yes, SUZ, we were still in Turkey last night. Some of the highlights for me was seeing the Mosques and night before last, we saw the remains of an ancient Brothel. It had a sign with a footprint which was supposed to be the first advertisment. Don't know the significance of the footprint, but found it interesting.
IRIS is supposed to board her ship today. Glo has been in touch with her while she is in Turkey, but don't know if she will be once she boards the ship.
ANNE-MARIE Told us it would cost her $13 to email us from her ship, so she decided to wait until she got back home to share photos with us. Really anxious to hear all about her trip and see photos taken with her new camera. Hope she got the hang of using it before she left home.

Cool observations at Pete's Pond. The other day I saw a family of warthogs on the cam. They drank water and rolled in the mud.
Then the other night I saw a lioness drinking at the edge. The cam panned right by her twice without stopping. They must use automatic panning at times. She wasn't there long.

Yes, Wanda, our little Squiggles is a Prima Dona. Too cute. I don't know if I wanted a boy or girl, maybe a boy because from reading the blogs while Tai was growing up, and now our sleepy head in Atlanta, seems Tai had lots of energy, and was into everything. Our Sleeping Beauty just wants to sleep. Didn't get to watch them growing up, but can watch this little princess, so hopefully she'll have some energy. Course so far, she's doing a bang up job! Squiggling all over, then scooting, so I hope she's a go- getter!

Glo, Ephesus is absolutely beautiful. OLD, ancient city, beautiful ruins. If you like any kind of history, Turkey is the place to go and actually SEE it. They also say Noah's ark is buried in Mt Ararat, which is in North Eastern Turkey. Man, I may have to get my pictures out this weekend and look at them. It's been years.
