Squiggles is spending a lot of time seperate from Bei. Instead of sleeping curled up in her arm or aroudn her neck, she is sleeping out where you can really see her on camera. She is growing up.

GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE.... IT LOOKS LIKE EVERYONE IS HAPPY THIS MORNING, MUST HAVE HAD A GOOD WEEKEND.
I haven't had time to read the new day's comments yet, but I wanted to mention the fact that there are TWO eagles on the BW nest now (off and on). I think they act either related or friendly in spite of the different ages.
I thought it might be a future pairing, but then I saw a shot of them next to each other, and they might both be the same sex.
???What do you think???

Our cam technician told me he thinks a lot of the Blackwater ospreys have left. He said all the ones in his cove near the refuge are gone.
I think Bob also said that on his recent visit to the Wildlife Drive, he only saw one osprey.
Hopefully this means the eagles will now be regulars on the platform until March.

Robyn, I think that Hires Root Beer (in bottles, no canned beer or soft drinks yet) was the best we could get when I was very young, but somewhere in my late teens I began to see the A & W Drive-ins out here. And I remember the large, frosted mugs of the beautiful, cold, cold root beer. Delicious...
I'll have to do a google to see if they still have those drive-ins.

Good morning, eagle world. And good morning to Jim, are you still up at this hour? Geesh, it's the middle of the night here, I KNOW it's the middle of the night on the west coast!
Beautiful out, though, and the moon has moved to the eastern sky, and is kinda bright 1/4 moon. Lots of stars, 65° at home, 70° here at work. Lots of cops out again today. There were gazillions out yesterday, and almost as many as today. But school started here yesterday, but don't see many school buses at 3 in the morning! Somebody said leftovers looking for drunk drivers from the weekend. Makes sense.
Well, sigh, don't have my Finny cam open since he's not home except as my wallpaper, and Bai and Squiggles are sleeping.

Falcon on bar in PA, and Peggy's Cove looks really cool...lighthouse is in the sun. Frodo cam is very fuzzy, out of focus, but guess Frieda is on the eggs. Daylight has arrived in Bonaire, and somebody left a beer bottle on the table last night, but the view is spectular!

Sounds like you saw more on the road this morning than we are seeing on the cams. After seeing the eagles at BW yesterday, I am more anxious than before to see Belle & Lib on our new cam. This is going to be so exciting. It's kind of like waiting for something to be born. We will all cheer so loud that they will hear us at NCTC. Maybe they will invite us there for a Christening Party!
LOL, morning, Wanda! Christening Party sounds like a good idea to me! It was exciting to see the eagles yesterday. Hope they come around again today, wouldn't that be cool? It's daylight now, and I keep checking every few minutes, but nobody yet. Think they were here later yesterday. First pic I took was at 6:40, so maybe any minute now.
Bai and Squiggles are sleeping, and Peggy's Cove is really cool in the sunrise.
Squiggles is moving between Bai's 2 paws. Looks like Bai is measuring her height now, cept Bai is asleep. Squiggles is squiggling. Oh, Bai waking up, rolled over and is hugging the little one.
GOOD MORNING SUZANNE AND WANDA, YOU TWO LUCKY DUCKS. You got to see the return of the eagle and juvie at BW. As I read yesterday's blog, there was soooo much excitement brewing during the day.
It also makes me wonder if our eagles are back buzzing the nest beginning nestorations yet. Hopefully our new cam will be up and working soon.
Couldn't get on last night as our friend from Poland was getting ready to fly out Thursday from Norfolk back to Poland for a bit. Don't know yet whether he'll be back for his schooling or not yet. Girlfriend!!!!!
Isn't there a birthday party planned at the Atlanta Zoo today. Hope to be able to get in when I get home and see the celebrations.

I have been trying to learn how to delete Forwarding Addresses from my email. I didn't even know you could do that until my daughter told me to do so. She and the instructions I read say to highlight and delete, but it doesn't work. I have been at this since 6o'clock this morning. Haven't even had my COFFEE yet. Maybe that is my problem. I need to clear my head and eyes.

Jim the closest we have to A&W drive ins are the Sonics which my daughter always makes me stop at when we travel because we do not have any in our area. I use to love going to A&W when they would bring the trays for the car windows, they also had the tiniest rotbeer mugs. At Sonics they wear skates.

Wanda, I try to delete the addresses before sending too. After you hit forward, then you can highlight the addresses and hit delete. But you have to forward the message first, it won't delete them just by opening the email. Try that, if it doesn't work, I'll type you up some instructions and send them to you.

Dr has me on hydrocodne, soma and naproxen guess how my back is (wheeee). Good thing it isn't getting me to loopy since I have to catch up in class today since I was able to catch up on my sleep all day yesterday.
