Good Labor Day Monday Morning May all of you enjoy the day - A grateful Thank You to the Labor Force of which I no longer belong! It was a great experience.
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!!!---CONGRATS! to our 1# BUDDY--PAULA!!-----Are you working today??---Another PLEASANT SUNNY day in WV---Temp. is 61°----WISHING YOU ALL A HAPPY LABOR DAY!!!
MORNIN' WANDA!!---FIN NEST--MT--Hope FINNY has found a friend to "care" for him-!---(FIND FOOD FOR HIM!---ho!---He hasn't learned to do that yet!!---ho!
No Norma, I am not on call. I go on Wednesday. I was in last night and yes it has been busy. Really busy. I think it was like 15 arrest in less than 48 hours. And those were just the cities charges.
Good morning eagle lovers! Jill - I wanted to tell you that I saw an adult bald eagle while driving on Patterson Creek Road yesterday evening. I was heading home from visiting my sister and the eagle flew over the road just a little ahead of me, a few miles north of Williamsport! I could hardly believe it!!
HI CAROL!!!---When I was working & we went to Franklin & Petersburg---we always traveled that road---& I bet I saw more different birds than any where else!!---NO EAGLES---but more than once a "herd" (ho!) of of TURKEYS would fly up!!!---GREAT STORY!!!---Thanks!
HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY, MITS, PAULA JO, NORMA, WANDA, ROBYN AND CAROL and all our other EAGLE BUDDIES ON HERE. CONGRATULATIONS PAULA on being #1 today on the blog!
NORMA no Finney; just looked.
Jo Thanks for the videos of the cranes. It was really interesting to see. Friendly little creatures; beaking the glass door.
ROBYN, What happened to your leg? I must have missed it in all the blog reading I had to do. I hope it isn't serious. You don't need to have much more on your plate.
JILL So glad to hear that you have off today. I know how busy you must have been last night. Mu husband used to work in 911 and the holidays would especially bring them out of the woodwork. They could go nuts answering calls and dispatching.
Bei is giving Squiggles a good bath today. I can't believe that she is so gentle. She acts almost human. Squiggles is surely getting to be quite a little Panda. It has been so much fun watching her.
YOU WON'T BELIEVE!!----Just looked in on the FINNY site----There he was landing in the NEST---I got so excited----then I NOTICED!!!! ---A SIGN IN FINNISH (?) or another foreign language--- SORRY!----MR. & MS. FINNY HAVE RELOCATED!!-----SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!!----
Candy I sometimes think I am still 25 and helped a friend move limbs from a downed tree that fell at the end of my driveway. Chiro said I have a swollen disk which is compressing my sciatic nerve, 3rd time in 18 mths. After my second knee surgery in 92 the doctor informed me my sciatic nerve would eventually give me issues, I just need to be more careful how I lift and toss heavy objects.
That is cool Carol. I know exactly where you mean.
NORMA-Where Carol saw the eagle is within a few miles of where Dr. Wolfe's grandparents lived. I believe some of his family still own the place. Probably his step uncle or cousins.
ROBYN So sorry to hear that you are having that kind of problem. That is painful and lasting. I hope the swelling goes down and your sciatic nerve stops giving you that pain. That pain can be like torture. I really think that you have had enough tossed at you for awhile. Be careful.
Candy, I haven't worked the whole weekend. Just went in to drop off a schedule since one guy quit and we had to redo the whole thing. But I know what you mean, I have worked my share of holidays. Or the day after the weather breaks. Doesn't matter, rain to sun, snow to sun, Hot to cold Cold to warm. The all come crawling out from under their rocks and go crazy.
I MUST CONFESS---HELEN & CANDY---(i made that part up)--ho!---I figured some one would look it up------But if had you opened the site---You would have gotten EXCITED too!!
NORMA. Actually it says something like Me Translator, Summer is over Butcher South, Thank you Translation Companion. I am sticking with what Norma said. They are gone for the winter.
Hope everyone is having a great Labor Day. Good day here for grilling. I posted photos from the last two weeks. I only saw one osprey yesterday, the adult female from the nest next to the wildlife drive. The eagles are going to have to step up to the plate and put on a better show for the tourists!
NORMA No I have never eaten wild turkey, thank you very much! My parents lived in Sparrowbush, NY on about a 2 acre piece of land all by themselves in the woods.
HI BOB! What super photos. You never let us down; beautiful as ever. Could even see the fish get away, but the last one didn't; down the hatch. the most interesting :) was that last photo of some strange things on the road in BW. What kind of animals were they? They had wheels for feet. Thanks so much for sharing.
Candy - In that first set of photos of the heron with the fish the heron had it stuck on it's beak after spearing it. It couldn't seem to transition it into it's mouth. It had to shake it off and lost it. I thought it was odd that it didn't try to pick it up again. The "wildlife" in that last photo was so loud they scared everything else away!
Bob-I think those same type of wildlife were out yesterdays scaring away the "good" ones. Everywhere I went. Except one had a very large loud boat. Mits-This boat sounded like the OC Rocket leaving the dock. It was awful, and it was on the Potomac. HELLO???? Nobody needs a boat that big on the river at least not the Potomac at Shep.
ATLANTA'S BEAUTY is asleep above the hammock in the lawn & LUN LUN is asleep almost under the HAMMOCK!!---THEY WILL NEVER KEEP HER AWAKE ON HER "BIG DAY"!!!
Looks as though I am missing out on the excitement around here! I had my 'early' panda nap and I am now ready to go - except I don't have anywhere special to go!!!!! NORMA You had me fooled but excited at the same time! I quickly looked at the cam & then saw the sign! Jill or Robyn - can you get the translation out to us, please! I feel certain that Norma is correct though.
Bob Butterflies! Beautiful pics! Candy is correct in saying that you certainly never disappoint us with your photos. The heron really had big trouble - I hope the second heron that got the fish just might be the same as the first one that missed!
BOB-- Your photography is wonderful. I have a question: In the photo with the motorcycles, I noticed Gypsy Moths have made their nests in some of the trees. Does the Park Service spray them or is it too dangerous for the wildlife?
WANDA I sure hope someone sprays the gypsy moths before they eat all the leaves for miles. They were a bad pest when I lived up north in NY. Went through quite a few miles in Pennsylvania one time on a trip and the woods looked like winter; not a leaf in sight. I can remember thinking I could hear them chewing around my house; pieces of leaves kept falling down. One time they were soooo bad that they were crawling all over everything; even the house. They kept spraying to erradicate them up there. I guess it must have helped as the trees looked up when I visited in July. It is said that if they defoliate the trees two years in a row, it kills them.
WANDA Those look like bag worms to me when I just looked back. They need to be taken out too or they will spread. We used to cut them out and burn them down here at the beach before they had a chance to get a start.
LOL - My wife, Sarah, just yelled for me to come help with her computer. Her screen was upside down. She thought it was a virus. She sells stuff on eBay every day and was beside herself that she wouldn't be able to get stuff done. Apparently she accidently hit the ctrl-alt-down arrow combo. That will flip your screen in Windows XP. ctrl-alt-up arrow fixes it.
Thinking about you Candy as I just pulled the brownies out of the oven lol! Grt-Granddaughter starts K tomorrow. There are 13 girls and only 9 boys in her class. She described teacher as 'a grandma' to me.. Now that's a winner! She'll have a good year!
Robyn - I tried to translate the Finnish message and got the same thing you did. Weird - you'd think it would translate better. I'd guess the message is: "Gone south for the Winter".
Jill - about all the arrests - what happened and where?
That is interesting Bob, glad she got it fixed. But why is there such a command anyway??????? A few months ago, I was having fits because the the writing on the screen got really really small. I was fit to be tied because I could read anything. I checked everywhere, asked everyone but nobody knew what the problem was. Finally one day I said something to my friend Becky, who doesn't have a clue about computers passed sending email. She said "Oh, if you hold the shift key and scroll the mouse it will get bigger or smaller" GEEZ. Well it worked. (Don't follow those directions, not sure if it was the shift key or control key, I have to try it when I need to)
Hey folks. Tried it. It's the control key. So for those of you with eye problems, hold the control key and scroll the little wheel on your mouse to enlarge print.
Jim - I am curious, what do Californians consider to be "high humidity"? I was once hiking in Arizona and some people from the area were complaining about the 15% humidity! I said - you should try 90%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Robyn, I got something about the butcher in the south, then with a different trasnlator I got fountain in the south. Either way summer is over and something is in the south. Last part was thank you translation companion.
Carol, I don't know what the arrests were. Mbg was mostly drunks acting stupid or people with failure to appear. Anybody in WV who would like to check their local regional jail can go to www.wvrja.com. Click daily incarcerations and pick their closest jail. Pendleton county takes their prisoners to Potomac Highlands, Randolph goes to Tygart Valley. Can sometimes be very interesting.
Jill Hold down the CTRL and press the + sign to enlarge entire script. Hole down the CTRL and press the - sign to decrease the script. Test it out right here on the blog comments......
From the way I typed "hole" for "hold" - can you tell I am getting excited that my TIGER WOODS is gaining points!!!! Great match but just don't know why he waits sooooooo late in the game to hit the good ones! We'll see - he may not make it this time......
I know what you mean, Carol, but I try to avoid the extreme of the steam bath.
Once, on a trip back to Minnesota in late August, we were detoured from the freeway at Barstow by mud slides in the mountains. I had to drive to the Needles, which is on the Colorado River and then north to Las Vegas. I got to Needles at approximately midnight, stepped out of the car and just about fell on my face (exaggerating)... It was "close to" 100° with 100% humidity at midnight!! It rained heavily that night in many spots on the desert including Vegas.
It was hot and humid the whole trip that time except in the Rockies once you got to a certain elevation.
Humidity was about 70% this morning, but as the sun does its thing, the it has dropped to about 30%. It's still damp enough to make you feel the heat more. It gets down to 10% or so when we have the Santa Ana winds from the desert, which at least makes the heat more bearable.
It's not a world record, Carol, but it's hot enough to be semi miserable out there.
Jim I spent a month in Palm springs back in 98 and it was 118 in the shade low humidity or as you folks out west say a dry heat. I don't know how anyone can live in that.
I have IE 6 here at the beach, but if I go to the upper left hand corner and click on view, then I can go down to the text size and pick one from smallest to largest.
MITS-- Thanks for the tip on enlarging print!! I have learned something new today. I am sitting here polishing jewelery for my Mother' s yard sale and lurking. Just happened to see your remark about LARGE print and tried it. YEESSS!! It worked.
Where are your glasses, Mits? Jill I've still got the CANE lol
Wanda - How do you advertise about the Costume shop for this upcoming Halloween? I would love to drive over and see your shop one day. I am going to put out my fall decorations next weekend I decided.
Mits - grab a pumpkin for Maggie on your way up the road this time!
Lots of places displaying the fall mums They are my most favorite earthy colors! I am a 'warm' personality so they say.
Wanda I would love to come by your shop, I am thinking of having Halloween party this year, my basement will be done by then. Tori wants to be a vampire lol and we need to find her a nice cape and maybe gothic style clothes *rolls eyes* Not sure what I will be yet.
Robyn Do you mean to post an avatar or to post photos on the blog?
Go to Eaglet_momsters in the files and find the instructions for posting an avatar by your name. As you can see, I keep my tree due to not being sure of the ability to post a new one! Paula can help with any questions.....
Just heard from Lisa at BW, and she said she was glad to see the eagle and hope he stops by tomorrow. At least this will take the sting out of Suzanne not seeing her Finny anymore, she can watch the eagles at BW osprey nest. The osprey that I have seen here at the beach, flew over me one day last week, made a circle right in front of me and headed south...what a site.
ROBYN-- Go to RUBIES.COM. Look over their selection. That is the main company that I do my buying from. Just click on "costumes" then click on "Adults". There are also accessories, etc.
THANKS JO-- I will try my hand at the Avatar tomorrow. Too tired to concentrate now.
My shop opens to the public on Oct. 1 and I close Oct. 31. Hours are 10am til 8pm every day but Sunday. The rest of the year, I am open by appointment. However, you are welcome at any day or time. Just let me know.
Shame on you two girls for teasing Suzanne like that!:) Your Eagle Buddy. BUT the new eagle will be something new to watch. I missed it today/ :pve upir flower ROBYN
Visitor back and wanting to go to bed. You all have a peaceful night. Tomorrow brings a new day.
Wanda went to the site. Tori is already sending me links for what she needs for her costume lol. Once she heard I was thinking about having a party her mind started racing.
JO, you are a good interpreter. I checked out those letters and if you had you fingers on the wrong keys, that is what it would come up as. That was funny. I thought she was speaking in Finnish.
Well, it got up to 98 deg., felt like 99 or 100 today.... And I rediscovered a very cooling and delicious concoction...
An ice cream float...I used what I had, Diet Pepsi, and it worked great again. It cools better than either ice cream or the cold soft drink or just about anything does.
I got so cool I laid down and took a nap...wish I could say I woke up as cool, but you can't have everything....
Mits, If you write to Lisa again, tell her about the message on the Finnish site. Somehow she gets good translations of what they have written.
Suzanne - Sorry your Finny has migrated as far as we can tell! Enjoy Squiggles even more now! There was an eagle on the BW osprey platform recently! Hope you had a restful long weekend
Good Tuesday morning, eagle world. Beautiful night out, bit over a quarter moon, very bright, and lots of stars. 62° at home, 73° here already! Sure was a nice weekend, hope today is more of the same!
But sighhhhhhhh, just opened my Fin osprey cam, and there is Finny saying good bye for the season. Bummer! Gonna miss that guy!! Bai and Squiggles are sleeping, and no other cams open.
All have a great eagle/panda day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
GOOD MORNING SUZ-- Sorry about Finny. We have all been looking for him the last couple of days, and of course, none of us spotted him. Then Norma discovered the pic with the note, probably saying "Gone South". We will all miss him. Hope you had a great weekend. TTYL
Good morning, Wanda. Didn't even see you come in! Yes, I'm going to miss Finny! Such a beautiful raptor!! But I have a pic of him I'm using as my "wallpaper" and it makes me smile every day. He's standing with back to the cam, but his head is turned to the cam, and he's looking directly at the cam. He is also standing with his left wing over a stick, looks like he has a sword in his wing! But his face has such an expression, it's priceless. But darn, sure am gonna miss him!! Had a wonderful weekend, thanks for asking. Weather was beautiful, could open all my windows and no AC, except later in the afternoon. Hope you guys had a good weekend! I think we should always have 3 day weekends, I could live with that!
Awww, Squiggles is squiggling, up by Bai's head, between her head and arm, sorta on her shoulder, but on the straw. Bai's still asleep on her back, one leg flung out.
Well, darn, Hurricane Felix has damaged the cable due to rough seas for the fish cam in Bonaire, and they are off line until it can be fixed. Bai and Squiggles still sleeping.
GOOD MORNING SUZANNE AND WANTA! I hope you had a very nice weekend Suzanne and glad tohear that you have wallpaper on your computer of Finney. He'll never leave you.
OKOKOK Give me a beak. I was in such a hurray to get out of the guys bedroom that I can't even remember what I wrote. It must have been in Polish, since that is where he is from. He is going back to Poland on Thursday for awhile, sooooooooo I should be able to get in anytime; even the middle of the night if I am up and walking around. :)
Gotta go for now. Have to get ready for the children to come in and start their second week of school. I hope is is better than last week. You all have a nice blogging day. TTYL
Morning, Candy! Hope you got to see the eagle, he just left. Sure was nice to see an eagle again, though. Beautiful sight! Exciting that you can get on your computer anytime you want, after Thursday! You won't know how to act! Bai and Squiggles are sleeping. Think Bai was playing with Squiggles, and Squiggles fell asleep, then Bai went to sleep too. Enjoy watching them! Miss my Finny, though, but yeah, he's my wallpaper.
Suz sorry to hear about Finny flying south. I just took a nice pic of the eagle looking at the cam.
Wanda LOVE your sunflowers. I had quite a few but they were not in the original spot I planted half of them. I was thinking the chipmonks moved the seeds.
Got Tori this morning and took her to the bus stop she was smiling she hasn't smiled going to school in 2 years, since she got sick and her english teacher was being a butt to her. She loves public school and I can see her getting back on the honor roll again as she use to every semester except this past year.
Hey, morning, Robyn! Love your flower! Our eagle just came back, it's so nice to see an eagle again, isn't it? So nice to hear Tori is liking school again! That's wonderful! That's also half the battle, if she likes it and her teachers, she'll do well. Glad she's feeling so much better, too! Bai and Squiggles are sleeping, but Squiggles is moving around a little...squiggling..
LOL, good luck with that, Robyn! My birds are eating the seeds as soon as they're big enough. Watched a sparrow yesterday standing close to the head of one, just picking one at a time. He was having a ball, no other bird was near him.
GOOD MORNING ROBYN-- Gene's sunflowers were all planted by "Mother Nature". They come up all over our property and we let them ALL grow. We enjoy the beauty of them and watching the birds eating the seeds.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY IRIS. DO SOMETHING SPECIAL FOR YOURSELF TODAY. When are you going on your CRUISE? Let us know so that we can get excited along with you. We are very excited for Anne-Marie and her cruise to Alaska. She has been keeping us up to date on her planning and packing. So anxious to hear from her when she gets back and see her pics. Think she is leaving Friday.
Oh wow, Iris is going on a cruise too? How cool! Bai and Squiggles are both asleep, but they're not touching. Think this is the first time I've seen them not touching while sleeping. Sigh...must be getting to be a big boy or girl. Read about exam 2, and they still don't know what color to decorate the nursery!

No Norma, I am not on call. I go on Wednesday. I was in last night and yes it has been busy. Really busy. I think it was like 15 arrest in less than 48 hours. And those were just the cities charges.
The cops were all over town this weekend Jill, surprised there was only 15 arrests, I'm sure you set them straight :).
No rest for the weary, a new semester resumed today and I am using that as my excuse to stay in bed and heal! thank goodness for laptops.
All the links I have to nests are empty except for frieda aka possible imposter.
Hope everyone enjoys this fine holiday.
ooops Morning Paula, Jo, Norma, Jill, Wanda and mom as I know she is lurking :)
Robyn there were more than 15, those were just the city arrests. State and county probably each had that many, if not more.
Good morning eagle lovers! Jill - I wanted to tell you that I saw an adult bald eagle while driving on Patterson Creek Road yesterday evening. We have wild turkeys back here but not as many as when I bought my hme 10 years ago. I saw one back in June jut pecking at the ground.
We use to see the tom with his harem but the human population is pushing them away :(
That is cool Carol. I know exactly where you mean.
NORMA-Where Carol saw the eagle is within a few miles of where Dr. Wolfe's grandparents lived. I believe some of his family still own the place. Probably his step uncle or cousins.

NORMA, I am with Mits. When did you speak FINNISH? You silly girl.
Going to emails BB
CANDY!---Where did your parents live when they had the wild turkeys??----Have you ever eaten a wild turkey?----That is quite a treat in our area-----
MITS-Norma must have found the translator that we have been using to translate Dutch to English. It does all the languages
Or maybe Norma speaks Finnish???????? LOL
Candy, I haven't worked the whole weekend. Just went in to drop off a schedule since one guy quit and we had to redo the whole thing. But I know what you mean, I have worked my share of holidays. Thank you Candy I am fine, I 'm just a big baby when it comes to pain, I don't handle it well.
It is also a good excuse to hibernate and take some me time, it has been a very busy weekend.

Jo all I could decipher was a few of the words
hello!
from me finnish summer is past and lahden etelaan (possibly meaning gone south)
Thank you kasvuani sueranneille
Hi, I sure hope you all are having a great Labor Day...
Had a hard night and am late getting to this site.
It's another beautiful, sunny, hot, humid day in So Cal....
I would like to know what the Finnish cartoon really says, but until I do, I think it must say, "GONE FISHIN!! CATCH YOU NEXT YEAR!!
Jim
The webs that are visible in th BW trees could be Fall Web Worms. A rose by any other name....
Thinking about you Candy as I just pulled the brownies out of the oven lol!
Grt-Granddaughter starts K tomorrow. There are 13 girls and only 9 boys in her class. She described teacher as
'a grandma' to me.. Now that's a winner! She'll have a good year!
I hope Nilla is headed back to WV from NY or even home by now! I know her heart is partly up in NY with the little one!
Bob Sounds like a neat trick to reverse your screen - but I'm afraid I wouldn't get it back to normal........ lol
Squiggles Alert - All Alone
Buta Buta is awake and doing a little climbing.
Time to go and start the grill....
Be back this evening............
Hey, Bob, I love your new photos. Think I've liked all I've seen so far.
Tried your tip to turning the screen upside down, but it did nothing on my puter.
Jim
Boy, they were predicting that today would be a little cooler, but it's way higher at 97° with pretty high humidity.
Jim
Jill if you have the latest explorer, in the lower right hand corner you can also make the page larger by clicking on it
Carol, I don't know what the arrests were.
I don't see anything Robyn. Just internet with a globe. I don't think I download IE7 because of the problems everybody was having.
Never mind Robyn I see what you are talking about. What I was saying is you can make the size of the print bigger on any page if it is too small.
Jim
Jill that will also enlarge your print.
Jim I spent a month in Palm springs back in 98 and it was 118 in the shade low humidity or as you folks out west say a dry heat. I don't know how anyone can live in that.
Can't get either of those to work. Oh well.
Mema-If Wanda finds out you are getting over excited she will make you go to be earlier. LOL
I have IE 6 here at the beach, but if I go to the upper left hand corner and click on view, then I can go down to the text size and pick one from smallest to largest.
EAGLE AT BW OSPREY NEST!!!!!
SO GOOD TO SEE THEM BACK AT THE NEST:)
Thanks, both tips for changing the "font" size worked...
What I've been doing for a long time is going to "View" on the Menu Bar and then to "Text Size", and that does about the same thing.
Yeah, Jill, Palm Springs in Summer is for tortoises and cacti only. I think Baker, which is at the southern end of Death Valley, may even be hotter.
I was raised in San Diego County near the coast, so I'm a moderate temperature and humidity man.
Jim
That is one purty eagle:).
That is a good looking eagle, Mits. I don't believe it is either of the pair, which spent so much time there last year.
Jim
MITS--
Thanks for the tip on enlarging print!! I have learned something new today. I am sitting here polishing jewelery for my Mother' s yard sale and lurking. Just happened to see your remark about LARGE print and tried it. YEESSS!!
It worked.
Wanda, I wish it could get larger....EAGLE STILL AT BW OSPREY NEST.
Love the eagle at BW
Glad you found him, Mits.
I guess Paula will be home shortly after dropping "College Kid" today.
Told her she & dogs will have
MT Nest!
Mits - larger print Try that CTRL + a couple of times. Makes mine so large it disappears off the page!
CTRL - will decrease it.
Let me know if if works for you.
Little Frieda and her eggs
Has anyone seen her off of them whatsoever??????
JO--
I think Frieda's got WAX!
She sure isn't slipping off of them! lol
BBL Going out for fresh air for awhile.........
Jim that was me who was in Palm Springs :)
I went to the San Diego Zoo back in the early 90's and just loved your weather there, I also loved the zoo.
Wanda I would love to come by your shop, I am thinking of having Halloween party this year, my basement will be done by then. Tori wants to be a vampire lol and we need to find her a nice cape and maybe gothic style clothes *rolls eyes* Not sure what I will be yet.
I have a question regrding the pictures here. How do I post a pic, I have been trying to figure that out since I came here.
ROBYN--
I also have been trying to figure out how to post a pic. on the Blog. You need a URL and my pics do not have a URL.
I think we can fix you up with whatever you need for Halloween.
We will have to get you down here and look at what I have or check out my catalogs.
Robyn Do you mean to post an avatar or to post photos on the blog?
Go to Eaglet_momsters in the files and find the instructions for posting an avatar by your name. As you can see, I keep my tree due to not being sure of the ability to post a new one! Paula can help with any questions.....
Tori is the one who needs a costume, she wants to be a goth vampire.
Thank you Jo, it is nice to see you so active again :)
Yes Jo, I would like to put an avatar pic up. I'll go check it out now brb
ROBYN--
I will email you a sampling of what is available. I'll try to get them to you tomorrow.
Thank you Wanda
Ok I got one on my profile page, how do I bring it here?
OH JO!!! thank you thank you!!!
GOOD JOB ROBYN!
Now, tell me how you did it.
ANN RICE, huh? Isn't she the vampire story writer?
Beautiful---did you grow it?
Yes Wanda, I have 8 ft sunflowers out front, my cell phone has a color function so I used the blue color.
Wow, Robyn that is beautiful. Sharon always puts my pics up, for whatever reason, whenever I try to do it myself, it doesn't work???
Anne Rice is the vampire lestat author but she also has many other books out too.
WOW Beautiful Blue
Love it!
We could always tell Suzanne that Finny got lonely waiting for her to come back so he went to find a new girlfriend.
Good idea, Robyn:).
Thank you
ROBYN--
Go to RUBIES.COM. Look over their selection. That is the main company that I do my buying from. Just click on "costumes" then click on "Adults". There are also accessories, etc.
THANKS JO--
I will try my hand at the Avatar tomorrow.
Good night everyone.
CANDY---
Come back here....What kind of flower is that?
"LOVE YOUR FLOWER"
I think that is what Candy said!
Wanda went to the site. Tori is already sending me links for what she needs for her costume lol. Once she heard I was thinking about having a party her mind started racing.
Candy a what flower? lol
Roflmbo.....Jo your are a good interpreter...do you know Finnish:).
Oh My, Wanda...there is a panda outfit on that site.
lol....Robyn, did Candy say something nasty about your flower:):):)!
JO, you are a good interpreter. I checked out those letters and if you had you fingers on the wrong keys, that is what it would come up as. That was funny. I thought she was speaking in Finnish.
MITS--
Did that costume come in Adult size? You all could dress as Pandas and Eagles and go to NCTC on the 20th and Trick or Treat.
Me too, Wanda....GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE
Well, it got up to 98 deg., felt like 99 or 100 today.... And I rediscovered a very cooling and delicious concoction...
An ice cream float...I used what I had, Diet Pepsi, and it worked great again. It cools better than either ice cream or the cold soft drink or just about anything does.
I got so cool I laid down and took a nap...wish I could say I woke up as cool, but you can't have everything....
Mits, If you write to Lisa again, tell her about the message on the Finnish site. Somehow she gets good translations of what they have written.
Jim
Don't tell Jill but there are stars out at Seneca Rock lol
All pandas asleep and accounted for!
Time to close up for today:
Good Night
Peace to You & Yours
Prayers being said for all your needs
Suzanne - Sorry your Finny has migrated as far as we can tell! Enjoy Squiggles even more now! There was an eagle on the BW osprey platform recently! Hope you had a restful long weekend
HAHA I was hoping it wasn't finnish, that is one difficult language to translate
Maybe it was a bad idea to show me how to add pics, i may be changing them daily
Now I need to reread the email and figure out how to put a new pic up...
ROBYN--Love that bright blue. I will try to get my pic. on tomorrow. Maybe I'll have GREEN roses. lol
JO--
I don't think I need to be "My brothers keeper" anymore, you are doing very well on your own. Keep up the good work! Sweet dreams.
GOOD NIGHT TO YOU ALL--
Rest Well.
Sleep well all, I am ready to pass out I am so tired trying to figure this out :).
Morning Suzanne sorry about finny, may we see him next season
Bob - those pics were too beautiful. Loved the butterflies.
Nice pic Robyn, way to go!
Finny is finally gone south! wow!
Hope to see the eagle at BW pic up on the site soon. Glad to see them back!
Maggie would look great in a panda costume!
College kid all settled in...boy what a long day!
Have a good evening, Wanda and Robyn.
Halloween party sounds like fun. We have a parade here in Emmitsburg, son is already talking about how they are going to dress up.
It's star dust at Seneca Jo. LOL.
The other night the sun was setting and you could just start to see the specks on the camera.
A VERY GOOD NIGHT AND A PEACEFUL REST TO YOU ALL/GOOD MORNING TO SUZANNE AND THE EARLY BIRD LOVERS....
I'm staying up later and sleeping more in the mornings lately... think I'll buy a wooden mallet and put myself out earlier in the evenings.
Have a great week, Everyone.
Jim
Good Tuesday morning, eagle world. Beautiful night out, bit over a quarter moon, very bright, and lots of stars. 62° at home, 73° here already! Sure was a nice weekend, hope today is more of the same!
But sighhhhhhhh, just opened my Fin osprey cam, and there is Finny saying good bye for the season. Bummer! Gonna miss that guy!!
Bai and Squiggles are sleeping, and no other cams open.
All have a great eagle/panda day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
GOOD MORNING SUZ--
Sorry about Finny.
It's somebody special's birthday today!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR IRIS
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
Happy Birthday, Iris, hope you have a wonderful day! And many, many more!!
Well, darn, Hurricane Felix has damaged the cable due to rough seas for the fish cam in Bonaire, and they are off line until it can be fixed.
Bai and Squiggles still sleeping.
EAGLE AT BW!!!
Just beautiful seeing an eagle again!!!
Bai's nursing Squiggles!
Eagle still at BW.
Bai wshing Squiggles. Cam is out of focus, wish they would get it clear!
Eagle still in BW looking at majestic!
My next mission will be to see the eagle at BW. Maybe if I can get on early at home.
AND we do have a BIRTHDAY GIRL TODAY. IT'S IRIS!!!!!! Happy Birthday Iris. Hope your day is filled with good and happy things!
Good morning Suzanne, Wanda
Suz sorry to hear about Finny flying south. I just took a nice pic of the eagle looking at the cam.
Wanda LOVE your sunflowers. I had quite a few but they were not in the original spot I planted half of them. I was thinking the chipmonks moved the seeds.
Got Tori this morning and took her to the bus stop she was smiling she hasn't smiled going to school in 2 years, since she got sick and her english teacher was being a butt to her. She loves public school and I can see her getting back on the honor roll again as she use to every semester except this past year.
Happy Birthday Iris , wishing you a fabulous day
EAGLE back at BW, just arrived.
eagle back at BW
Hey, morning, Robyn! Love your flower! Our eagle just came back, it's so nice to see an eagle again, isn't it?
So nice to hear Tori is liking school again! That's wonderful! That's also half the battle, if she likes it and her teachers, she'll do well. Glad she's feeling so much better, too!
Bai and Squiggles are sleeping, but Squiggles is moving around a little...squiggling..
Robyn, I have to laugh at your sunflowers. I have quite a few now, and didn't plant a single one! Birds do that for me, but they plant them anywhere!!
Suzanne I just hope the birds save me some seeds for next year off the flower heads
LOL, good luck with that, Robyn! My birds are eating the seeds as soon as they're big enough. Watched a sparrow yesterday standing close to the head of one, just picking one at a time. He was having a ball, no other bird was near him.
Wow, eagle has moved up right in front of the cam, how cool. Oh, now looking down at something.
Oh, check it out...eagle doing nestorations on osprey nest. Geesh, must be a female, wanting to clean already!
Eagle at BW just took off. Sure was nice to see an eagle again!
GOOD MORNING ROBYN--
Gene's sunflowers were all planted by "Mother Nature".
SUZ--
I forget exactly where IRIS is going, but it is a European Cruise. She told me about it at our last Get-Together and it sounded wonderful.
A close-up was shown of Squiggles over the weekend and sure did look like a female to me. But then what do I know!! Surely they know by now.
Good Morning Early Birds
I wonder if Belle & Liberty are doing any nestorations yet? Maybe we will be able to view them soon!
Happy Birthday to you Iris - I hope you get all these birthday wishes for today and also enjoy all of the cards that have been sent! Have a very special day!
Lisa at BW has put up the pics of our visiting eagle at the osprey platform.
NEW THREAD FROM STEVE
