About an hour ago Lisa put up 3 beautiful pics of 2 adult eagles on the platform! WHoo HOo!

Adult eagle on platform has a very good breakfast underfoot.
The lights are so dim in Bai's den.
However, I can see our little Squiggles squirming around. Now momma has returned. I sure hope this is the week when they can inform us correctly about the sex of our Squiggles.
Adult eagle still just hanging out on the platform - fish is just laying there out in the open. Must have full belly.
The little Hummer just came to my deck flowers for a visit!
Off to eat some breakfast.......
I was watching the BW eagle that wasn't touching the fish -- it was the male. He seemed to be waiting for the female to return, and then when she did, she began eating it.
Maybe the fish was a gift for the female.
Lisa, I think your right about it. I was wondering why it was just laying there. But now she is having her breakfast.
One of the DC pandas (Tai on cam 2) has the Fruitcycle - Sure is enjoying it. Sorta early in the morning for a treat already...
I think that Tai has now gotten to the good part of the fruitcycle - the Appple! Amazing how he can hold onto things with that 'extra thumb' so to speak.
Fish at BW has been eaten but the beautiful eagle couple are still there :)

I think Anne will be out to sea for 2 days! There is so much for her to do on the ship - I bet she even makes it to the Captain's Table! lol

I am getting excited looking at all these cruise lines! Maybe that is what retirement is all about...??

Sure wish i could have stayed in Glo's room for the cruise last night but Jasmin needed attention and all my family dropped in.. But next time i think its tonight?? Worked fine once i fix pop up blocker... Well going to check out cams and later today i will have Jasmin i love the weekends because i have her!!!!

Not sure of the weather outside yet but pan in leg is diminishing and I almost feel back to normal if there is such a thing.
My hummingbirds are still visiting but not as often, and my birdfeeders need filled. I have been neglecting so much this past 2 weeks and now I have my work ahead of me.

Hi Robyn - glad your leg is maybe getting better! Pain meds can fool you. I sure have cut down on mine and doing pretty well. Didn't you tell me one time that Tori out of the clear blue after one of her procedures noticed that the pain was gone! I am hoping you said that!

On the cruises: the bridge and then the stern cams give you beautiful sights! Some of the wedding chapels are very pretty. Do couples go on cruises planning to be married? or does it just happen on board?

Hi Jim - I really think they were a mature eagle couple..... The adult male had brought a fish in to the platform but was not eating it.... Lisa was on and mentioned he had brought it for the female who then arrived and had her breakfast while the male just watched. Pretty cool...

If you click on the Central America link on Cruise Addict page another drops down and they have 3 camera at the Panama Canal which updates every 10 seconds.. Interesting to watch..

From the looks of the water there on left hand side we missed a big ship going thru.. I dont think this cam updates very often Jo might be areal slow trip sorta like the Slow Boat To China...lol

Hi, all. Know this is a little late just got on and saw Jo asked about which port anne marie will get to first. The first port will be ketchikan then juneau and sitka last. Ketchikan and Juneau have ports so they will be able to go right in on ship. Sitka does not have a port. They will have to go in by tender. Sure envy her. That is the best trip. Would love to go again.

Oops! Nilla I just found out that the Bridge cam of course is at the front of the ship going forward... I guess where the Cpt is....... The stern is the 'other end' of the ship.
Therefore, I'm not going to tie myself onto the STERN anymore and not know where I am heading! lol

As we were driving to the lake last evening, Zach (13) sitting in the back seat very calmly says "Mom, do bald eagles have white heads" I replied "yes". Still very calmly he says "There is one back there in that tree". Well, of course, course by the time we got turned around it was gone. Have to teach that kid to get a little more excited about things. LOL. Also there is a tour up there called the Dam and Eagle tour. Not sure where the dam comes in, but they almost gaurantee you will see an eagle.

Also in October, I will be asking for prayers when grandson Ryan will begin his 2nd tour in Iraq. Hopefully I will get together with him the 1st weekend in Oct before he deploys later in the month.
HI EVERYONE! Just went on a cruise to Turkey and was it fun. My messages got cut short yesterday as I got a call from a friend at my school to see if I wanted to go to the East Carolina/UNC Tarheel game in Greenville. OF COURSE I WANTED TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only stipulation was that I had to be out my road and parked at the school in 15 minutes. I made it looking like a big wind blew me in...didn't even comb my hair.
Well, we were guests of the ECU Chancellor and got to eat a buffet dinner, park in the Chancellors parking lot; right near the stadium, and got to sit in the Chancellor's box; just a bunch of rows cordoned off on the 50 yard line. I was in seventh heaven. I looked like a waif with the other folks going; one owns a few pharmacies, 2 headed bank offices in our area and another was in real estate. My friend's husband is one of the bank officers. Way out of my league, but I had the best time ever. We lost in the final 50 seconds, but I still had a ball. So glad I went, but by the time I got back home it was 1:10am Sunday morning. As I had church at 9am, I went right to bed.
I really missed you all. If I found my way back home, I hope Norma does too. Glad to hear her team won.
MAULEY I will keep your grandson and you in my prayers. Hopefully this will all be in the past soon, although I don't count on it.
GLO Thanks for the Turkey trip tonight. Once I got on, it was fun. I also have a hard time reading the chat, looking or reading the site and chatting. I guess I am not a multitasker.
As far as the storm goes, what storm. I think it pooped out. We got a little drizzle when we got closer to the beach last night and some rain through the night. We got out of church and the sky was blue with white clouds. Someone even saw a rainbow.
There is just a whisp of a breeze and it is hot and humid. I don't know where the storm went. I just don't want school to be called.
We susre could use the rain. I notice that some of our plants and trees have brownish dried up leaves on them already.

good morning, eagle world. Monday has rolled around yet again. Beautiful night out, 73° at home, 78° here. Guess it's gonna be a hot one, but have to admit, didn't listen to the news or weather all weekend. Guess we got rain sometime this weekend, but didn't hear it, but my car windows were wet this morning. Kitty food was dry, though, so don't have a clue when it rained. Quiet ride in, saw 4 deer (3 down here, and they were together), and 1 fox in MD. There was an accident on 7, other side of the road, and there were cops, but not too many this morning of either critters or cops. Quiet ride, that's nice!

Only cam open is Bai and Squiggles, and Bai is sleeping on her back...don't see the Squiggles. Bai is breathing like she's out of breath looks like, or Mits, do Panda's hearts go a lot faster than ours? I wouldn't think so since they're so much bigger, but don't know.
I see I have more pics to look at on the blog, thanks for sharing Steven. Will go do that, and see what I missed this weekend.

Wow, Squiggles has gotten big. Bai has calmed down, so maybe she was just nursing or something earlier. She's not breathing hard now. She just rolled around with Squiggles in her paws, and had Sqiggles right up to the cam, but I wasn't quick enough to get a pic! Squiggles sure has gotten big, though, and way too cute!

SUZANNE This is our third week in school, so I hope most of them will be settling down. We have about 4 or 5 that just seem to be stubborn, have fits, but hopefully time will bring their minds to Kindergarten children ready for school and not spoiled children who have never been make to tow the line or said no to.
Today, we get out the big "gun"; the behavior chart where faces get moved from green, to blue to yelow to red for each time they have a problem. This goes home to the parents daily if there is a face change. Hopefully, this will calm things down a little; not, as most parents today don't think their little ones can do anything upsetting or wrong. ;(
Oh well, I'm off. You all have a good day. I have to work while I know you all will be curising the world and eagle watching today! :) You all have fun.
LOL, face chart sounds like a good idea! You're right, parents don't think they're little angel can do any wrong, so discipline is lacking a lot these days. Too bad, but guess the world changes.
Hope they start getting the Kindergarten mind set. They're fun, but they're a challenge, and I know I couldn't do it! My hat's off to you, Candy!

Good morning Suz, Candy and Wanda. Interesting cruise but I had so much going on I couldn't pay too much attention. I wouldn't mind going there so much history and structures from long ago.
Tori is loving school she was all smiles this morning, been almost 2 yrs she smiled this much. Life is good.

Eagle just left, and I don't think that's a fish that was there. Just looking at some pics of the Kestral that was hanging around this weekend, that "fish" is there also, so not sure what it is.
Squiggles is still alone, but can't see her...Bai is outside the birthing den.

I'm feeling better but yes still a little sore. I am easing off the pain and muscle relaxers. If I can tolerate the pain I'm good, I need a clear mind.

OMG, poor Squiggles is being flipped all over the place, but Bai is so gentle. Poor kid is gonna be dizzy!

With everyone on cruises visiting some beautiful places, I was looking up Nova Scotia, I was there in 91 and would like to return since I am thinking of visiting Salem, Ma. I could take a ferry from Portland or Bar Harbor, Me.
