It really is amazing that the NCTC cam is on the top of both lists when our webcam has been off and is only now getting put back online.
Thanks for all of your support and contributions to our efforts. We all really appreciate it.

Morning, world. Awesome ratings for the NCTC cam, but we knew that already! Just now Steven knows too. We had 412 visitors on the blog yesterday, check the cluster map. We always have lots of lurkers!
Cam is up, nest is MT, looks green. But had to open that first.
Ok, pretty night out, lots of stars, and some wisps of fog, but chilly for me. 55° again at home, and 63° here. But hopefully gonna get warmer today. Lots of different critters today too. Lots of deer, to include MALES, which are no longer so few and far between. Had one rabbit run in front of the car, but I was slowing for a stop sign, so slamming on my brakes was not a problem. At least for him. Also saw an owl for a bit, went from woods on the left, to a field on the right. Big brown owl, have no idea what it was. No foxes today though, I've been seeing a couple for the last week or so.
Uh oh, NU didn't trim the leaves from the tree, and wind is blowing a little in NCTC...leaf on left top just moved.
Ok, have to go check pics, want to see Belle.
Also want to see if Anne came back last night to tell us about her adventure!
Oh, and just so you don't think I'm ignoring Squiggles, she's off to the very right of the cam, and Bai is out and about, not in the den.

My Lib and Belle cam has lines, can't really see the nest.
Eagle still grooming in BW, Squiggles sleeping alone, moving her legs in her sleep, our cam pic is clearing up in the daylight. Well, maybe, but it's better than it was.
GOOD MORNING SUZANNE AND ROBYN. iT IS HUMP DAY! I tried to get on at 5 am at my house, but we had lost power sometime during the night and my internet wouldn't reconnect. From the sounds of it, neither Libety or Belle have been to the nest yet.

Not as cold this morning Suz as it has been the last few days. Allergies are sure acting up this morning though with the dampness.
Lines are still on cam, did you see the white spot in the middle of the nest? Was it a light or one of our beauties?
There is a very stately looking eagle at BW. Our cam needs a little help this am.

I finally got to sleep with my windows open last night and now I hear that the wind will be coming off the ocean the weeks end and make the temps rise again.:( Not too happy with that. Thought you gals had finally sent the cool weather our way.

Two eagles on osprey nest in BW. The one is screeching to bring some fish and now the new one jumped to the middle of the nest and the screetcher backed up a little. I guess that put her in her place. :)

Our cam is terrible. Was hoping to see our eagles this morning. Well, it is still a work in progress and we have to be grateful to Steven and the guys for their hard work to get us this far. Hopefully sound will be next, once the pic is cleared up.
Hi ROBYN Can't keep a mean old kindergarten assistant down. I bit the bullet and made it to work yesterday, where the principal came up to me and wanted to know what happened. I was still pretty swollen in my face; cut on outside of nose, etc. I did look a sight, but didn't want anyone in the office to know I had fallen, as I am a clutz and an accident waiting to happen. :( My left eye is starting to blacken and my face is still a little swollen, but I won't scare the
True Candy but as terrible as it looks it is back up :), perfection takes time, trust me ;) lol
Aww Candy do we start calling you Calamity Candy :), tori is such a klutz sometimes she is too funny epecially when she rolls her eyes at herself for being such :)
Both eagles still in BW, and there is something in the center of our nest that's white, but can't tell what it is through the psycho lines. Squiggles is still sleeping alone, and moving her hind legs. She must be dreaming. Such a cutie.

SUZ, I wasn't sure if you knew the story of the RED-DRESS or not. If you didn't, that photo wouldn't mean a thing. I was checking in on the Dawn Princess long after everyone had left the ship just to see what was going on. I was shocked to see this RED DRESS flying in the wind! Thought it was so funny, I told everyone to look at that site and by the time they did, the "dress" was gone. Finally got it emailed.
Hey, eagle lovers - soooooo good to see the nest again! I have a question about hawks and kittens. Yesterday I saw a rabbit in my back yard and as it hopped beyond where I could see it, a hawk swooped down from a tree and went in the direction of the rabbit. I did not see whether the hawk got the rabbit. Now I am worried about my 2 kittens. Do any of you know whether a hawk would take a kitten? On a completely different subject - have any of you tried the new chocolate-raspberry M&M's? They are fantastic!

I am an eagle watching lurker here, but wanted to post to your question about a hawk taking kittens. I am sorry to say that yes, they will, from personal experience. Mine escaped with nasty talon cuts on her back, though she was full grown, larger than a kitten. Owls are a bigger issue where I live in SW Colorado. Kittens are perfect dusk time owl prey. Sorry for the bad news!
