Well theres a full moon on Sept 26th and a new moon on the 11th.. So watch out for the full moon... The nest sure is pretty this time of day the way the sun light hits it..

Cheeze Whiz you all. I have been laying on Josh's bed watching the computer since 6pm. My sister called and I took my eyes off for a moment and missed our couple. :( I guess that was it and they won't be back until tomorrow am.

Oh well, good Friday evening to all of you; Jo, Paula, Mits, Glo and Nilla. Those little stinkers came to the nest and caught me napping. I did see one eagle tho. AND Frodo is back on eggs in Brisbane. I didn't see any cracks in the three of them when he was off. Guess form what I read on here, we have until about the 25 of Sept. to wait.
This is the first day that we will have AM & PM HR PHOTOS.
I just so much want them to be in that Sycamore Tree on Open House day!
I think we need to put some WAX on those two eagles so they will stay in the nest longer/
JO They might not be on THE tree, but might be in nearby trees now that they come to the nest off and on. One can hope.

MITS I think Nilla means that she thought that was FRODO in Brisbane and not Felix.
NILLA Felix is an osprey that they have been tracking his migration from his nest southward. Frieda and Frodo are the birds is Brisbane.
Nilla Thanx I needed some of the pics you sent. They are in the album but now I want to put them in time sequence order with Paula's and mine. That's the fun part but then you can do the slide show.

Nah, I'm a tough old gal. Yes, underneath my eyes went black. I have a scrape on my upper lip, a cut on the left side creese of the bottom of the left side of my nose. and my upper cheek is still swollen a little. It was funny to think of if afterwards, but when it happened, I thought this was the big fall I knew was coming. :) I am slowing down in the classroom more and watching where I go. I just look meaner and scarier now, but it won't last too much longer. :)
No fear about them sending me to first grade. I am too clutzy and stupid for that. This morning, I couldn't figure out why my sandals were going on so hard. It wasn't until I had the kids in music class that I happened to look down at my sandals. You guessed it; they were on the wrong feet. :( Never a dull moment in my life. Things like that keep me in Kindergarten forever.:):):)

I did something similar with shoes. I once went to the Beauty salon with two different shoes on. They weren't even close to looking alike. Just in a hurry I guess.

Ok i gotcha now... i watched aprogram on tv that they tracked 3 migrating from up in Maine i think it was and followed them down the USA into South America was interesting...

They say the "Early Bird gets the Worm"....well, I got the "worm" this morning. Belle & Liberty visited us at 6:45 this morning. They only stayed a few minutes, but it was a wonderful "few minutes". I took pics.

So I got up and had some cold cereal, took some tylenol and am waiting to see what happens.

I next went to BW and their osprey cam in on the fritz for now; goes from blue to red.
Bai and Squiggles are still sleeping in SD. Two pandas at DC are active and playing on a downed tree. It looks like a wresling match, but a friendly one. Atlanta panda cam is still off. Frieda is still on eggs in Brisbane. Just a few small fish at Breathebonaire, all seems quiet on the Africa cam.
GOOD MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT TO YOU JIM. My heart goes out to you. I was doing that all summer when I was out of school. Now usually when I crash, I crash. Missed our eagles visit this morning. :(
Perhaps Wanda will post them on momsters or give them to Mema Jo to post.
The pair is looking good, but it's still months before they start another season.

Watching Pete's pond...a flock of Ostriches spent at least a half hour warily approaching the pond and backing off and moving up and down the shore...watching for lions or crocs.
Then all of a sudden they all jump into the pond in one shallow area and start drinking at the same time.
Then they were done and are moving back out into the brush.

JIM It is a few months off before they start to prepare the nest, but all are soooo excited here to at least be seeing them again and at the nest. I miss a lot not that I am back working. I am so grateful for those that take pics so I can see what has happened during the day.
I do hope that Tylenol will start working for you. There is nothing worse than being awake in the middle of the night. Now that ou have retired, it will probably take a little time to get your biological clock in your body used to the new times of sleep.

It looks like Bai took SQuiggles for a walk outside. No Squiggles is still laying here and here comes Bai back and picking her up.
Hopefully JIM did get back to sleep. When I come home from school aching all over I take two Extra strength Tylenon and it dulls the aches and makes me want to sleep.
Now Bai has Squiggles in her lap. I just can't get over how gentle she is with Squiggles.
The alligator is still l aying low in Pete's Pond waiting for a tastey meal. I had hoped to see Jim's elephants come to the watering hole.
