Water is good for you, which makes waterbowls great. Water bowls are also great because they provide a wonderful place to survey your kingdom from.
I think that's good, Mits....I often worry about the things that have been lost through the years because the young ones want things more modern.
I even think sometimes when I'm doing my crossword puzzles....do young people even KNOW this or that, and what will happen in the future to all of the "old" knowledge!

I was shocked and embarrassed Sat. seeing my old high school competing on It's Academic, and they couldn't answer so many of the questions....and we used to be one of the best schools. And now Fairfax County has caved to parents and is dumbing down the grading scale because "it's not fair" that they compete with students who have a more lenient grading curve when applying for college. GIVE ME A BREAK!!

The suncatcher is actually amber colored, I greened it up for St Patty's day. They do have a green one, but didn't have a picture online.

Well, our Mattie girl was in the All County Elementary School Choir this evening and Sissy forgot her camera! It was beautiful. It was held at the Princeton Church of God. This church is huge. It used to be a Lowe's and they renovated it into a huge church.
That used to be Bryan's (my brother for those of you who don't know) church Sharon.
That was a beautiful eagle with a beautiful name. Helen Pat asked about the wing span. My husband has met Pat in person one Pat's father in law died. He is a nice man. Don't know about a hair piece.
No, T-Bird, I had no idea that was Bryan's church. If they fill that church up every Sunday, couldn't leave too many people for the other churches.

Just getting home from work, took a short field trip to Swanging Bradge, watched a little muskrat swimming along and diving, not many birds, but heard more Spring Peepers.....favorite sound! (well, so is Eagle Calling a favorite sound...) (and babies squealing for food ) xo ☺
So it seems, one chick and one egg, and who knows what else is in that nest ! Some baby Poop Shoots probably....☺

Using the old Lowe's for a church would be a good idea around here, too....have never understood how towns let a company build a new store without guaranteeing tenants for the old one. Empty, deteriorating space is such a waste!

Lynn Lowe's was renting out the building over by KMart. Then they started using it for storage after the rented funished lease. Why using for storage. Because Home Depot was trying to buy it to come into the area. Lowe's didn't want them to compete with so Lowe's is using it as their storage.
That same thing happened here with Lowe's and Home Depot.
I thought it was a storage area for something called Brentwood Industries or something like that, Dana...though I have NO Idea what they make or do...
It was leased out as storage for another place. I was told recently though now Lowes is using it as storage. Maybe they lease it again.
Seen several groundhogs out today...spring on its way.
For a short time Royce was using it for something...SIL's mother was sent there from the Baltimore St. plant, but it didn't last long. I think they moved up to Tablers' Station or Inwood someplace.

From what I've heard, Lowe's is opening up a store in Ranson, across the road from Home Depot...let the competition begin! of course, down there, they have 2 84 Lumbers. Saw the other day that Southern States moved into the old Shawley's building, and are now open on Sundays. If you recall, the old place had a fire last year...turned out structural dmamge was too bad to renovate. Still using back of property for grain stuff.
I.E. Southern States in Ranson!

Just getting on here when everyone has probably hit the hay--which I will do soon. Been up since 4:30.
Had an Awards mtg. at Park w/St. Patrick's Day munchies--soda bread w/honey butter, some green cookies, etc. & lime punch. And of course they couldn't find the Park camera, so you know who took pics. Just finished editing & sending to people.(I had to take a break of course for Idol & din din)
Checked ospreys & eagle nest after work & while tippy toeing in the woods to get view of nest, Dad eagle took off from tree above my head! Drat!
Finally got to see the video w/sound here at home that Paula put on Utube. Eggcellent. Save Live cam a little & could really see Baby when he stood up. Adorable.

For those of you who asked about results of GeeGee's MRI...her doctor said that she did, indeed, have a small stroke. She will be having additional tests in the weeks to come to tell us, hopefully, what may have caused this. The doctor expects her to have a full recovery:)
Belle just woke up and yawned so wide, you could hardly see her face:) I DID NOT know that birds yawned!
