She seems to have settled down again, Guess I will say good night for the third time and mean it this time. Hopefully tomorrow we'll have a new chicklet.

Hi, Lolly, Dana. Yes, nobody thinks they can see better at night than we can; but they act like they can at times.
And you will often see them in the nest early in the morning before first light when they are getting ready for the season.
They usually don't switch in the night, but they can.

You can see it clearly on Paula's last pic, but it is smaller than I had up. It is unquestionably a pip hole...big one.

Final check-in before I turn in. This eggcitement is very draining. 35th day for 2nd egg is tomorrow....hope we aren't still waiting for #1 then!!! The night-light glare is so darn disconcerting....hurry up daylight!

I wouldn't worry about the second egg hatching tomorrow...not too likely before Tuesday, judging by years past.

You can see Belle, her head down on the nest on its side, setting there with her eyes open.
I think she's listening and maybe vocalizing with the new chick.

Our Girl is awake in the nest, just did an egg check - saw the eggs, almost looked like two eggs with holes, could not get a picture of it
Up again, checked the eggs, rolled them, this time I saw three eggs and no spots!
back to bed for me, I have to agree with the rest of you, daytime viewing is going to be better

well its tea and a donut here, and a call from a pretty sick daughter in AZ just came. She didn't wake me as I was already up but has spiked a fever and has severe sore throat and stiff neck. Went to a medi clinic yesterday who really said nothing except go to the hospital if you spike a fever to rule out meningitis. So of course I am worried and she is waking her family and on the way to the hospital. Has been taking 3 advil every 4 hours for a day now so that is a high fever for miccle of the night on all that advil.
Good morning all. I am at school checking in to see if there is any new news. Guess not yet, but soon. Peep, peep, peep. I wonder if she has been awake all night long waiting. She is something else.
