Thanks, Lynn! I am sure we will. We will also get to visit some with Michael and Ashley before they head out for the evening. I just hate driving to Dallas in Friday traffic!
Good evening everyone. I am still working. Waiting on Thelma to get here and then we will go to Mattie's talent show tonight. Andrew has another performance tonight but I will have to miss this one to see Mattie. Glad they had Andrew's last night too.
You know something that blows my mind. A couple of weeks ago, I started craving ice again and that is always the first symptom I have to the iron deficiency anemia. I so don't understand the human body.
Those unexplained biological cravings for unusual things is called pica, Sharon. Be glad that it's ice and not something weird like dog bones or dirt!!! I asked last night, but guess you were already gone....is the anemia an expected consequence of the bypass?
Margy, I am pretty sure that the egg was at about the 3 position on the edge of the egg cup...think it was mmid-afternoon....wondered then if Belle was getting ready to toss it!
Well, I got my camera, Canon Powershot A2000 IS with 10 mega pixels and a 6X zoom... Was on sale and also a 10% discount because only the display model was available.
This should be interesting...guess I have my evening reading cut out for me
So glad you got your camera, Margy. Sometimes the written stuff is so vague or too technical....playing with it is how you will learn it...which is what I'm still doing!!!

Great views our nest right now I caught up on comments and see where Paula was talking about the egg..don't see it now, does anyone ?
Mits - looks like I am still on IE 7 - and won't be updating it anytime soon if I can avoid it. but some of my color things and have changed and I can't figure that out and still have NO Grandson on my desktop display :(

Hedgie and others: Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday nights, ISS and Shuttle Discovery passing through in the evenings. And by the way, Venus has pretty much slunk low on the Western Horizon now, difficult to see it. How did it disappear so fast? WAH But, it comes back out in the early morning soon! xo
Yes, I have a Mac. It took a lot of getting used to, not that it is hard to use, but so different from a PC. There are things that you can't do on a Mac, some programs are only made for PC's. Nothing that I really need though, except last year I couldn't watch the IWS nests except for PH.
Hopefully they can get Ceils' friend on a transplant list, and dialysis in the meantime. Prayers going up. Where's the nest you saw on the way to the airport? I love tomato and basil soup! Progresso's is very good. Hmmm...think that's what I'll have for dinner! Thanks, Mits.
The pelicans haven't come back here yet. NE birders are starting to see them, so it shouldn't be too much longer. Grebes are back though, they are fun to watch.
Deb, pics are great! Have not been able to view today's video yet....have tried 3 times, and it just keeps loading....maybe too many folks watching! I'll try tomorrow. Hope everyone has a restful night...raindrops on the roof tonight will make for sweet sleep here. Prayers and peace.
Hidey is eating breakfast! Egg is still there. Live feed works great this time of day, I must be one of the few bandwidth users. I am off to a day of birding with friends. BBL
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!!---The live feed is GREAT this am!!---BELLE was feeding the 'little one'----WOW!!not so little any more!!--was eating & after she finished--BELLE poked around at the egg!---But she ended up pushing it under her with the 'little one'!!----
Have a fun day, Deb, look forward to you great photos! I, too, found the LIVE FEED working like it should...got to see Hidey walking around a bit, then also, saw Mom TURNING the egg! She is just giving up yet...what a good Mommy!
I going to Potomac State this am---symposium on 'Life & Times of NANCY HANKS LINCOLN----born in Min. Co---at SADDLE MOUNTAIN!----later!---KEEP AN EYE ON THE EGG!
Yes, Wanda....but it is a fragile week-end and I could get tagged for a shift...
I think I will have my April schedule soon, so will pass along possible dates for that PWP field trip! ☺
Back in a little while.
I posted one picture on the Roost site. When I get more techie, I will subdivide that like you have done on your Blog... ☺ Did You see, I finally got a digital camera, Canon with 10 megapixels and a 6x zoom, and 3" screen....sale item and extra discount for it being available as the display model only...
Margy, GOOD FOR YOU! You will have more fun than you could ever imagine with your new camera. I use mine every day and always carry it in my purse...as you probably know:)
Can you believe that the government has awarded me with this multi-million dollar ATM card? I am soooo lucky!! It will only cost me $200.00;) Awarded from US Government
.Your Personal Identification Number is ATM-8222. The ATM Card has a daily withdrawal limit of $10,000.00 USD Per Day. You are advised to contact Mrs. lindahill (atmpaymentoffice93@gmail.com) for claim processing.

Deb (enjoy your birding today). Norma (on a special outing), Paula (helping to move), Margy, Wanda (with grandson over), and Lynn.
Wanda you can go into your mail then spam and set your spam to delete more often which means you won't be getting the same spam mail. It stops those and deletes and stops new ones sooner.
Have to get a shower and go get the moving truck, we are loading it up w/ boxes today...can't move in until tomorrow...then we will really have to hustle!
First egg hatched at Colorado overnight/and daytime Friday.. You can go to Deb's nest pictures and also the Maine Forum, Magnificent Video of the hatching !
Paula, we once help our grandaughter move when she was in school in Charlottesville. It was snowing and she had a THIRD floor apartment! I swear, I thought we were all going to have a heart attack!!
If you missed Hidey's early morning feeding and the egg being turned and buried...I posted a few pictures on Wild and Wonderful. Babe is growing so fast!
...Hey, remember, Jo created an album on the Momsters album page... Wanda, I think I can move yours over there and will try that in a few minutes it that is okay with you ! ☺ They are there "forever" for viewing pleasure, and boy are there some cool albums in there !
Sure wishing I was in Romney...would really enjoy that seminar Norma is going to. Also laughing over the fact that the Space Tracker site says we'll be able to see the shuttle for the next several nights....good trick, since it is due to touchdown in FL at 1:39PM today!!!!! A Soyuz rocket launched Th. or Fri. (can't remember which) to dock w/ ISS at 11:10am with fresh cosmonauts. Russian mission control is on NASA channel now!
Margy, you have my blessing to do whatever you want with ANY of my photos. You are much better than I at moving things around:):) I have red hair, but my roots are BLONDE;)
Good Rainy Morning! Flowers will grow for sure! Missed all the early birds and they are now out & about or have turned their pc's over to important visitors! Hey there, Wanda! I know how it is. I've checked the cams and our eagle is tenting. I just hope the temps stay up. OKLA & CO doesn't look so good.
Nothing planned for today other then chilling out! Getting a little tired of my recliner life! Yes! That means I am feeling much better with this injured leg. It is starting to work again!
Sounds like good news, Jo....just don't try to dance a jig yet! (Was going to say cut a rug....but since a rug caused all this, I KNOW you won't go near one of them!!!)
LOL when it comes time to fledge being the only chick and getting plenty of food. He/she will have to do many of poop shoots to take off from launch pad LOL
Just did a quick check of some cams, Puleston and Kentucky and Loch Lowes in Scotland all had one bird... Loch Garten had one earlier but not now. Also, Camclickers has some active nests, Eastern Phoebe, Two Eastern bluebirds, one in Ky and one in Tx, (both with eggs) also Northern Flicker. Barred Owl cam is down temporarily but should be back up again soon, and Barn Owl cam seems to be down.
It's a good site but requires a little patience while things are opening up. Daily Highlights gives some good pictures of what is going on.
Oh, now it looks better in Okla, - Read on Maine Forum that that someone saw TWO Baby Beaks going for food this morning, but I can't see much with MY eyes.

If Chrissy can talk turkey, I can talk EAGLE!!!
Make that THREE birds our nest, sorry
whoops it is two birds now
have I missed a comment about this:
when did we last see the egg in the nest
Eagle at BWO
Those unexplained biological cravings for unusual things is called pica, Sharon. Be glad that it's ice and not something weird like dog bones or dirt!!! I asked last night, but guess you were already gone....is the anemia an expected consequence of the bypass?
What is Mattie doing in the talent show? We expect video again!!!! Tell her I said to "break a leg'!!!
Three now again at our nest
Margy, I am pretty sure that the egg was at about the 3 position on the edge of the egg cup...think it was mmid-afternoon....wondered then if Belle was getting ready to toss it!
Bye! We are leaving. Later...gaters!

Good Evening Eagleland
Two parents in the nest and moving a stick. One gone.
baby all alone,
still is ahead of live feed
Oh boy Mattie tonight--this is like we are there if they tape it too. ( : I know she'll be great.
To all the Southern Delegation:
Best wishes for a great evening and week-end...
and everyone else too ☺
thanks Hedgie...
about the egg...
I guess I just wish the egg and the spirit of the unhatched eaglets could stay as a part of the nest somehow, both of them
Well, I got my camera,
Canon Powershot A2000 IS with
10 mega pixels and a 6X zoom...
Was on sale and also a 10% discount because only the display model was available.
This should be interesting...guess I have my evening reading cut out for me
You can almost NOT SEE the baby on the still image...but he is there !
On the other hand, the BWE eaglets are all over their nest and VERY EASY to see ☺
Reminds me of the "Where is Spunky" tune.
Where is Hidey, Where is Hidey....
Beautiful view of two eagles at Maine 1
Noisey too !
Oh, what a good memory that is!
And a poop shoot, and some other bird wailing in the near distance
Holey Smokes! That was some serious HP at Maine....
male left female is on your favorite branch, Paula
Hidey all alone for over 15 mins, alone in the nest anyway, sure the parent/s are close
some kind of waterfowl, maybe that is the other bird sounds
Our little guy/gal is trying to make that climb out of the cup again!!
Eagle at OK looks bedraggled ...
Wild distortion on the Okla cam, guess from the moisture, is magnifying the image at times
So glad you got your camera, Margy. Sometimes the written stuff is so vague or too technical....playing with it is how you will learn it...which is what I'm still doing!!!
He looks like a little grey frog !
Thanks Hedgie...figured I would start with this, and maybe someday get something with a big zoom lens...☺
Mini-wingercizes going on!
Okay that's 30 mins in the nest all by him/herself, bet the parents bring some mighty food back with them - maybe something RED
I better back track to earlier comments before the split before I start repeating things...
Has anyone updated to IE 8?
Something definitely happened with my computer earlier, but I did not choose to update yet..better see if it did it my itself !
You all have got to see that crazy stuff at Okla when parts of the adult become VERY LARGE -
too funny !
She looks extremely wet !
I think I did, Margy....was looking yesterday when Dana asked about it, but can't find anything that shows a number!
Norfolk looks pretty soaked also - I keep thinking Parent is going to a feed, but not yet
All right now, one parent has returned, I can relax now whew!
i am home and trying to get caught up on blog and e-mails. I am hoping for a look at the CO nest to see if we have two eaglets.
my computer has not told me to update to IE8 yet, so not doing it just yet
both eagles in CO, maybe a switch.
Oh look, number two is almost out of its shell. Wiggling all around to get the last bit loose.
both eagles, our nest.
It kind of looks like it broke free from the shell!
Maybe not all the way loose. Darn, parent is going to sit on them, I think.
BWE....
Nest Update
03/27/09:
The Eaglet-Naming Contest is open.
Cam watchers have asked why the younger chick has a darker head. Its white down has been pecked away by the older bird.
Also, be sure to check out the three new eaglets on the Norfolk Eagle Cam

So I got that manual out too...
Oh brother, I am not good at these technical things...
Great views our nest right now
I caught up on comments and see where Paula was talking about the egg..don't see it now, does anyone ?
I couldn't get the Fargo cam site to open up :(
Mits - looks like I am still on IE 7 - and won't be updating it anytime soon if I can avoid it. but some of my color things and have changed and I can't figure that out and still have NO Grandson on my desktop display :(
Eagle at BWO with a fish
When it came in yesterday it had a big fluffy tail, but those legs don't look like a squirrel, do they? I guess I haven't ever seen a squirrels legs that close and stretched out.
raining at Norfolk
Hedgie...
I will do as you say: just experiment and play, once I get the basic things reviewed..
What is up with Ceil? I don't find a post about her neighbor, nor an email...????
I have video loading, but it seems to take forever this time of day. Off to feed dogs and myself.
nice name, she is a cutie.
BWO Eagle took off with the fish:
Look out BWE !
me neither, Margy, til they drag me kicking and screaming, I don't want to change....think that is why I don't want new computer, don't want Vista
Ha! Second adult at BWE WITH the fish !
Hedgie, Ceil posted a message earlier, will find the time, and also has another neighbor in need....
So she is busy, Florence Nightingaling it...Bless Her -
Yes, Mits, no Vista for me either, think I would go for a Mac instead when it is time to change....

jubby's IT guy at office has a MAC at home, Deb you have one don't you? Do you like it? Heard it is user friendly.
speaking of hubby, he is home early, I brought dinner in tonight, tomato Basil soup and salmon Caesar salad...nice fish place near where I get my haircut
I'm stepping aside for a little while, and giving up my bandwidth.

But, it comes back out in the early morning soon! xo
Speaking of fish, Mits, that's what the Baby BWE Eaglets have on the menu tonight also !
Two Osprey in the nest in Kentucky, Puleston is empty
One at Kentucky now....that was quick
they sure do.....sushi...
The video of the CO hatching was almost loaded and Safari froze up, had to start all over. :(
I see a little head peeking out from the fluff!
Last I saw, the egg was still in the egg cup!
I'm not sure where she sees the nest, Lynn, maybe BW parkway.
One of the parents at BWE put grass on one of the eaglets lol
Bill putting out food for the nightime visitors at Saline
CO eaglet hatching video is up. It is kind of long for one of my videos, 2:09. It shows the eaglet breaking out of the first half of the egg.
Raining here.
Belle is tenting.
I put some pictures on Deb's Photos from today.
Some sprinkles passed through here, too.
Deb you have great videos of CO, and your pics from today are wonderful
good night everyone..
Good Night, Mits, from the Lone Swordfish ! ☺ xo ♥
Wow, Deb, both of the videos, and your new pictures are wonderful!
(have to go play plumber at neighbor lady's - back in a few....I hope...)
Thanks, Mits. I saw a lot of birds, but not a big variety today.
Thanks, Margy. I typed my first message and forgot to post it, so I missed yours.
Deb:
Will you be sending your video to the Maine Forum? I see they have a few pictures but your video would rock some socks !
Friend in New York saw White Pelicans this week, he says they are mostly a Western bird but spend winters in Florida and along the Gulf Coast....
I figured out how to post pictures over there, but not videos. I'll have to see if I can find some directions.
Deb - you'll have to post it to youtube or photobucket....
Then you can just post the link once it's uploaded.
Or, you could post a link to your blog.
The pelicans haven't come back here yet. NE birders are starting to see them, so it shouldn't be too much longer. Grebes are back though, they are fun to watch.
Thanks, Paula, that sounds easy enough. It is on Youtube already. They get them to post right to the forum somehow.
Wonder if the second chick will make it out of the egg tonight at Colorado, or if it already has
Sure is going to be a wet week-end hereabouts
Whew ! Lots of reading and preparation for this new camera, it's going to take awhile....
Hope I won't be hollering Help too often.
Guess I better say Good Night -
Hope everyone gets a good night's rest so you can be ready and rarin' to go Saturday.
Peace, Love and Prayers xo ♥
Deb - sending you an email

Paula, we once help our grandaughter move when she was in school in Charlottesville. It was snowing and she had a THIRD floor apartment! I swear, I thought we were all going to have a heart attack!!
And one of the other eggs had a Big Pip Hole on Friday....
Best Wishes, Paula....
dodge those rain drops !
xo
Good Morniing, Dana...thanks for the advice. I will try it and see if that works!:)
Dana
Not sure it is confirmed the second egg finished hatching yet...
do you have info on that ?
If you missed Hidey's early morning feeding and the egg being turned and buried...I posted a few pictures on Wild and Wonderful. Babe is growing so fast!
Deb - Great video of CO eaglet...sure looks like 3rd egg is cracked too...
Belle is up digging in the bowl, now gonna hide hidey again
I did see it over on Maine forum Deb's YouTube video above it says "2nd eaglet breaking out of shell". So when did the first hatch out?
...Hey, remember, Jo created an album on the Momsters album page... Wanda, I think I can move yours over there and will try that in a few minutes it that is okay with you ! ☺
They are there "forever" for viewing pleasure, and boy are there some cool albums in there !
xo
Magpie - hoping we can get all the boxes loaded before the rain starts again....
Gotta hit it...catch ya'll later!
Good Eagleland Morning Paula don't go lifting too much now.
Just trying to get date of 1st hatch at C0 so I can write it down.
Two our nest
Well I guess that is old news....
I keep forgetting to say THREE - and now there are TWO - can't leave the baby out of the Count!
☺
Tee hee our chick was standing now sitting to get fed. So cute!
Margy, you have my blessing to do whatever you want with ANY of my photos. You are much better than I at moving things around:):) I have red hair, but my roots are BLONDE;)
Judy's chart shows CO egg seen hatching on 3/27 at 5:39AM....don't know whether she mean s #1 or the beginning of #2 that Deb filmed.
Dana:
did you see my earlier post about hatch date for Colorado? There was so much snow there was nothing visible until first light Friday March 27.
Sorry about any misinformation about the ISS and Shuttle Discovery, guess I trusted that site's information :(
Okey - Dokey Wanda ! ♥
You are A-#1 in my book !
xoxox
Gonna turn this 'Puter over to Dustin now and fix some breakfast.
Have a good day:)
Time for me to get crackin' too -

Small earthquake in SC Fri. afternoon...felt near Savannah River nuclear plant.
OK eagles are in some BAD WEATHER
Good Rainy Morning! Flowers will grow for sure! Missed all the early birds and they are now out & about or have turned their pc's over to important visitors! Hey there, Wanda! I know how it is.
I've checked the cams and our eagle is tenting. I just hope the temps stay up.
OKLA & CO doesn't look so good.
Nothing planned for today other then chilling out! Getting a little tired of my recliner life! Yes! That means I am feeling much better with this injured leg. It is starting to work again!

At least the larger Hummer chick is perching on the side of the nest now...
Probably could fledge before long.

Jim
Sounds like good news, Jo....just don't try to dance a jig yet! (Was going to say cut a rug....but since a rug caused all this, I KNOW you won't go near one of them!!!)
Our chick is getting fed again.
LOL when it comes time to fledge being the only chick and getting plenty of food. He/she will have to do many of poop shoots to take off from launch pad LOL
Feeding time!
Yea there Jim
There is a peek peaking out the side of parent in our nest. lol
Discovery landing postponed due to clouds and winds....hoping now for a 3-something touchdown....MTBR.
3:14 is next opportunity.
Egg City !
xo
Wow, Okla cam is shrouded in moisture :( going to be a rough few days for that family...
Oh, now it looks better in Okla, - Read on Maine Forum that that someone saw TWO Baby Beaks going for food this morning, but I can't see much with MY eyes.
Hello and Good Afternoon Everyone ! ☺
Before or After the Split?
Maine Cam 2 has one eagle, and Maine Cam 1 has no eagles
