Hi all,

Hope everyone had a fantastic Easter.

Can't keep my eyes off little TIT-BIT,,I think I've fallen in love with him/her, such a little fighter, but I do worry that he/she is so small and the other two are such greedy little piggies !!!

Just read back all the posts and see that Wanda and Gene have been on, I hope they are having loads of fun and take lots of piccies of their trip.

Easter here was great, we have a HOT CROSS BUN fight in Church for the kids, the fun thing is afterwards the kids get to eat them.

Do you have HOT CROSS BUNS in the States ?????

Sunday afternoon we all met up with friends and went on an Easter Egg hunt, and then out for dinner afterwards.

I don't think I want to see chocolate ever again !!!!

Panda News is good and bad this week isn't it,,,,,Mei may be preggers,,, but that isn't good news for darling Gobbo is it,, if she is that means he will be sent off to China, so sad.

I don't think it's stopped raining here for weeks and the high winds are getting me down too.

I wonder if Belle wants a frw oranges to go with that duck ???

speak soon

love and hugs

Hello Chrissy, glad you had a nice Easter, yes we do have Hot Cross Buns here in the States...it will be sometime before they know if Mei is pregnant. Tai should have gone back when he was 2 yrs old, he will be here til he is 4, regardless if a cub is born this year or not

Feeding at our nest.

Get OFF ME!!! Tums

wvgal_dana said...

"Ok eagle family watching I got my head out from under big one. Boy I couldn't breath too well under there."
Now all 3 chicks are looking for food not just 2. Whew I even feel better now. ( :

wvgal_dana said...

The littlest one is back behind the other two. Which of course means they are getting the food first.

wvgal_dana said...

Looks like I think Belle just flew in. Wonder if she will feed little one. Whichever is at the groundhog eating.

wvgal_dana said...

Dragging the ground hog with talcon over to side of nest cup. Oh boy is feeding little one. Hot dog !!!!!! FOOD!!!!

Danelle said...

Good afternoon ya'll!

wvgal_dana said...

2 chicks are facing one parent and that parent is feeding them as it has been. The other parent was facing little one and fed it some. Now moved over to where other parent was. Parent that was feeding the 2 just flew out of nest. This one that flew in I think Belle (not sure) is pulling food and feeding the 2 that was getting food. Hopefully it will feed some more to little one.

Hi Danelle ( :

wvgal_dana said...

Yea!!!!!!!!! Little one is up front with others and is GETTING FOOD !!!

Danelle said...

Looks like a nice panda nap at the zoo.

wvgal_dana said...

Boy just one piece of food after the other for the little one ( :

Happy Happy Happy that's it keep feeding the little one.. hee hee

Danelle said...

Hi Dana!

wvgal_dana said...

Oh yes they are eating fish like before. Parent didn't pull the ground hog all the way around to 12 o'clock position where feeding is going on. Yes every time parent gets food in beak. Hee hee little one strikes out for it. He/she is doing well. I was worried for awhile. I do think the little one could eat some more. Other two are laying down. Parent has stopped feeding.

wvgal_dana said...

Belle (I think it is her)is picking food out of nest cup. Well its the wiggle wiggle coming up. Yep down on chicks. Her head is facing 12 o'clock position.

wvgal_dana said...

How's your day today Danelle?

glo said...

Well I am happy to see little one get "some" food. I agree some more food is in order for sure. But its not bothering me in the least why I hardly even noticed!!!!

Danelle said...

time to go home. see ya'll tomorrow!

deb said...

Hi, everyone. I am back from running errands and can't get the live feed to work. I may have to shut down everything and start over.

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Sure, Glo, I am sure you hardly even noticed! :)

deb said...

Success, I must have just needed to say it wouldn't work to get it going.

paula eagleholic said...

Hey Dana - Look at my post on the Maine forum about your picture...

paula eagleholic said...

Couldn't post it back then...saw a feeding around 4pm

Groundhog, eh?

paula eagleholic said...

Where did it go?

wvgal_dana said...

Ok Paula will take a look.

2 eagles at Maine one eating

paula eagleholic said...

Hey - just caught up...see the groundhog was dragged to back of the nest and a lot was eaten!

Hey Steve - nice pic!

Chrissy Beahan said...

Sorry all,

I didn't get back to you as quickly as I should, my cat beauty was being ill and I've had to sit with her for a while.

Thanks Helen for the info about Gobbo,I hope he stays till he is 4 years old, it's just the fact that they don't seem to have the room for 4 Pandas.

Been watching the Bobbleheads, and panicing badly,, little TIT-BIT was getting left out again, at first I didn't see him/her and my heart sank,, then Belle arrived and started eating herself and didn't give and to the baby, I was shouting at her to feed him/her but she didn't listen,,,,,, I can tell you the air was a little more than blue in my house.

The groundhog is part of the rodent family, but is more like a marmot. Do you know what that is??

Groundhog

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Chrissy, it is also known as a woodchuck and that name sounds like it might have originated in England? :) We have lots of groundhogs lying on the side of just about every road around here.

MITS said...

Chrissy, know you have left, but they have room enough for another panda.

Lisa said...

Hey guys, can you send some food to our nest. :-P

floralgirl said...

My computer is dying again, getting blurry screen, just stopping by to say NEW THREAD!!

MITS said...

Lisa, I was just thinking about your eaglets, and how the second one is stressed because of the lack of an adequate food supply. Too bad the male is not really ready to be a parent, but happens in human life too

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

They immediately started misbehaving when the parent flew off.

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Them babies are getting too big to fit under our parent.
