Hi, Eagle & eaglet lovers. Been very, very busy today and yesterday. Have been sneaking a peek at the nest whenever I can - but no time to read the blog. Am watching current feeding. If I was seeing things correctly - littlest one got its share of food. I think I even saw it peck at one of the others. (but maybe not)

Carol, he always makes sure he gets some food. He's a little scrapper, no question. I watched him the other day push his way between the other two like he was bigger than they were.

That's encouraging, Jill. Well, I'm (finally) out of here. Going to DC area to spend Easter with my Mom. I'll miss our little family and will probably be amazed at how much they have grown when I check-in on them on Tuesday. Happy Easter to all you bloggers!

I think Mom brought her own Good Friday Fish in...I would have to look back to be sure....there's so many fish lined up, I lose count!

Wonder if Carol saw the last feeding before she left? Little on was in front of/under the big ones. Mom kept leaning down but the food was swiped before she could get it to him. Then all of the sudden she leaned over and a little head popped up and took the food. Other two almost butted heads. Oh I can't wait til they are bigger, this will be funny.
OMG Just watched the rewind. he was in the back of the egg cup to start with then pushed himself to the front. At one point the biggest pecked his little head but taht didn't phase him, he pecked the big one in the chest.
When they stand up on their legs they remind me of the old old Warner Brothers cartoon with the plucked turkey that runs around.
LOL, pecked the bigger one on the chest. That sounds so funny to me. They are the cutest little fluffballs-even though the bigger ones could use a spanking sometimes :)
I think the little one is going to kick some butt when he gets a bit bigger.

Paula, the way things have been going today Mt. St. Mary's has a shot at beating NC. Two upsets in overtime already. Think they can make it 3?

Paula do you have two CBS channels? If so try the other one. They had WVU on one last night and not the other. If it is a "local" game the local channel will have it sometimes.

Sorry. I know I had to keep switching last night to try to watch the game. Stupid. Spent more time switching channels than watching the game. I guess I have DC on now. Haven't switched it in a while. Trying to stay awake to go to JOey's soccer game at 9 in Winchester.

Hello everyone! Have been gone all day. Took the grandsons to the zoo today. Just scanned all the blogs quickly to catch up!

yea, they are some big guys...announcer gave Jeremy Goode a nice compliment...talking about his speed.

They talked alot about Goode when I was watching. Was trying to watch and talk on the phone, people at the door etc. Missed a lot of the game. Course they kept changing it too.
Anyone want to guess at what could be distracting our eagle. Just saw the right wing span out as if to -- there it goes again... protective mode...

Good guess.. I saw your comment at 9:00 or so. Just turned it on & could see she was awake - usually has head tucked under wing by now.
I'm remembering that it is dark up there in the nest. Moon is real hazy looking here. See some Wiggling

Hahaha Jill i was at Wal Mart tonight and all was quiet except for people griping about not enough cash reg. open... Long lines... Hope ya'lls favorite Basketball teams won tonight .. as for me i dont like it that screechin of sneakers... Ewwww like fingers on a chalk board..Belle is up and the big one is almost coming out of the nest bowl... Good video of the WV feeding, Paula. At least #3 looks alive. I saw a couple of feedings where he just got muscled out, the the parent would quit feeding them and squat down on them again. I was afraid he wasn't going to make it.

BWE cam froze for the night with the eaglets uncovered and huddled together for warmth. Have to wait a couple more hours to see if the parent covered them later.
No Osprey in the BWO nest since that pair this morning.
Norfolk is in the waiting mode again, nobody in the nest tonight. I sure hope they are ultimately successful this year though.
Belle is sleeping peacefully, pointed toward 3 o'clock.
