BOB, HE IS ALMOST AS GOOD AS YOU ARE:):) Click on Bob's post with the name HOMER for some amazing pictures, some of the best close-ups of eagles I have ever seen.
They should have about 3 more hours at Sitka before the ship takes off for Juneau. The day probably went fast for Anne.. Hope she wore her sneakers and got a lot of territory covered......
I am venturing over to take the cruise to Istanbul and see where Iris has been today. Hopefully I'll return before Anne's ship takes off so I can get a picture or two to save for her.
Mits, I apparently don't have the exact page coming up as you do... I am out of luck.... You can send me the url in an email of the page where you see it........

Found the panoramic view Just had my ice cream also.

Good Girl JO-- I have been watching you. A cruise to Istanbul or is it Constantanople? And a cruise to Alaska is too much in one evening. So you should be in bed and sleep in in the morning. Rest Well.
GOOD NIGHT LADIES TOMORROW IS GOING TO BE BEAUTIFUL.
Thought I would mention a lot of candles in the chapel, which were lit for Sharon's family members, are going out. I just lit another to replace the one that will go out in about an hour.
Anybody spot any interesting birds on the nests today?
Good morning, eagle world. Chilly out, and forgot my jacket yesterday here, so couldn't wear it to work this morning. Bummer. It was 55 at home, 62 here, but the heater works well on my car, so no problem. Gazillions of stars out too, beautiful clear night. Got up early, came in early, that's 2 days i a row..gotta stop this! Bai is holding Squiggles between her front paws, and Bai's sleeping on her side. Way too cute, like a kid sleeping with their favorite stuffed toy. Gonna try to read blogs and see how it went when Anne docked. All have a great eagle/panda day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
Bai sorta rolled onto her back, and let Squiggles go, and Squiggles right foot and leg started wiggling. But don't think she/he woke up... Just glancing back at the blogs, sounds like you guys had a good time cruising and sightseeing in Alaska yesterday. Will have to check out some of the links.
Bai has Squiggles again, and those little hind legs are really moving! Guess Squiggles doesn't want to be held down. Bai's not moving though, oh, Squigs almost got out from under the top paw. Legs just a'going! Too funny, Squiggles isn't giving up, wonder if she or he will scoot away? Nah, Bai's not letting go, and I imagine the weight of her paw is holding the little one in place. But those legs are still going! Uh oh, yup, she's out from under the paw! On her back, trying to get onto tummy...kicking hind legs in the air, back down. Still trying, and Bai hasn't moved. Oh Bai is moving now. Squiggles still trying to turn over, oh, Squigs got on her side, Bai rolled over on her side, and is hugging Squiggles now. Geesh, all that work the little one did, and boom, mom's gotcha now. Mom still trying to sleep and Squiggles not quite giving up yet. This is too funny, that little one is just not gonna give up!
That little faker! She must have gotten her breath, now she's trying to get out from under again. Those little hind legs are really going! Bai's still asleep. That little cub is so cute.
Morning, Robyn! Guess that's the nice thing about cats.. they don't make noise, they just walk on ya! If one trip doesn't work, they do it again!! Isn't Squiggles cute? Bai just moved her head closer to Squigs, but I don't think Squigs is ready to throw in the towel yet. Well, maybe so, she's worn herself out. Or himself. Guess we'll know someday.
LOL, yeah, Robyn they're good for that! I didn't get to see Tai or Mei when they were growing up, but I can this little one, and it's fascinating! I just love watching these 2. Bai is such a good mother.
Robin, Bai rolled off Squiggles, but the little guy didn't move. Now mom has her paws up there again, but don't think they're covering the cub. Should be feeding time soon, and if Squiggles keeps moving she's gonna wake mom. Look at the leg go! Too funny!
Could be, Robyn. She's having a very excited dream! Did you go outside and see the stars? Beautiful night out, and I can still see some stars here. That's unusual, so much ambient light, they're hard to see. But tad nippy for me!
GOOD Thursday MORNING SUZANNE AND ROBYN! Woke up a little early so thought I would see what is happening. Missed all the Squiggles squiggling this morning, but did put her up on the screen for the children to watch yesterday in school. So I did get to see a little bit of the two beauties for a few minutes.
Wow, hi Candy! Lots of folks today! Squiggles is still squiggling, she hasn't stopped. She takes a breather every once in a while, then goes back at it. Bai left a minute ago.
OH, ok, Robyn, I was a half hour early. glad you got to see the eagles yesterday too, Candy! Seems they come early in the morning, then don't show up for the rest of the day. Well, at least while I'm at work, anyway. Osprey was there yesterday too.
I have been sooo tired after school nights, that I lay down for a nap and am asleep for the rest of the night. I missed the cruise last night. :( Still have to read the blog and check mail.
Me too Candy, she claims she hates math yet they want to test her for gifted, I am so glad I put her in public school this year, she looks like she is finally coming out of her shell
SUZANNE I hope you had a nice day for your birthday yesterday. It was my teacher's birthday also and she is just like a kid; loves birthdays and Christmas. Told the children she was 39 when she is actually 50 something and a kid shouted out that his Dad was that age. :)
I did have a nice day yesterday, it was beautiful. Went home and opened my windows! I keep saying 29 again, but gonna have to go to 39 here pretty soon. All that moving around, Squiggles gets turned onto her tummy, and she/he hasn't moved since. Bai's still out and about, be feeding time when Bai returns.
ROBYN That is so good that she is being tested for the gifted program. This will keep her mentally challenged if she is accepted. My son was in that from third grade on. In high school, they get to take advanced placement coursed (like college) and can get credit for it in college when it is time for them to go. It helps out a lot in getting them started in college.
Candy the work her math class is doing this year she took last year and finding it very boring but she approached me and I am so proud of her to keep me informed of her education, I only know the things I ask her and what she brings home. I do have her teachers emails just in case lol
ROBYN It sounds like you and Tori have good communication and you are lucky for that. They do need to keep her challenged and always learning, and no question is to frivolous to get in touch with her teachers about. You have to keep in touch and let them know that you want the best for her.
ROBYN She must have, as she is very still now, the little cutie pie. I am so glad I got to see her born and develop. I, like Suzanne, didn't get to see the others.
Well the time is getting towards 6am and I have to start to get ready for school. It has been nice chatting this morning. Hope you both and all the other wonderful eagle bloggers have a very nice day. To the rest of you, keep on cruising and have a fun day of conversing and watching. BBL I hope.
Welcome back, Robyn, and thanks for the BW heads up! Had it minimized and didn't see him/her arrive! Bai and Squiggles have settled down for a nice nap.

I am venturing over to take the cruise to Istanbul and see where Iris has been today. Hopefully I'll return before Anne's ship takes off so I can get a picture or two to save for her.

Looks beautiful in Sitka right now.
Mits, glad you saw an eagle in Maine! How cool!
pAULA, IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD TO SEE ONE....OOPPS, sorry caps....have you looked at the eagle pics that Bob had on here
Frodo is back didn't see the switch
I bought an apple pie from Safeway yesterday, its ok, but not as good as the one I picked up on the roadside coming from the beach last week.
No haven't had a chance yet...or to check F&F either.
Paula, I found the panoramic view button.
Awesome pics..haven't gone thru them yet...but look how yellow their beaks and talons are...a sign of good health in an eagle.
Their eyes are mesmerizing.
Awesome pics!!
sunset in Sitka ought to be as pretty as last night.
I saw...I sent the link to JO, if you did too, then she can't miss it!
Her ship is pointing slightly to the left of what I mentioned earlier...each cam has the panoramic view, also.
The eagle with the eagle shots...check out his florida birds.
Guy has been lots of nice places...bookmarked to look at later, too.
Meant guy with the eagle shots....must have eagles on the brain!
Mmm, the whole upstairs smells like cinnamon and apples...:)
I'm on my way to your house, perfect cool night for baking apples:)
My goodness his FLA birds are excellent
Something is wrong with the South Sitka cam....ship is there, then its not, happens every other refresh.
Do you mean the ship in the middle or the one on the right...
You should check out his Austrailian adventure too...wow.
I've got a gallon of van-choc-strawberry ice cream, I'm on my way.
Yummy...Really need some vanilla ice cream...have to stop and get some tomorrow..
My refresh is OK
Good Lord, Megan, did you have a stressful day???? The big ship that has been there since early a.m.
Bring it, Megan. Got more than I can eat.
Frodo still there.
Suzanne, Happy Birthday, sorry it is so late in the day. I pray it was a blessed one. donna
I made it with those honey crisp apples, Megan.
Mits, are you switching between the cams? When I just switched and cam back, I saw the boat leaving on an older pic...you have to wait for it to refresh itself...hitting refresh doesn't work.
Spidey is on the west cam
Well, I don't mean I am eating a whole gallon, just have it in the freezer.
Hay ya, dear friends, forgive my manners. Hello to all of you, too. Just haven't been myself since little nephew CJ is back in Iraq for his second tour of duty. It has been a very difficult week for all of us. We desire and crave your prayers. Thanks dear friends. donna
Frodo...gotta go look..
Mauley loves apples, too. We buy them by the bushel. They are up to 30 dollars a bushel here, because the freeze got them all. One apple farmer here said he has 15 percent of the apples he had last year.
I see him. White spot and all.
You have them, Mauley. Hope it helps.
okie-doke, thought it was happening on its own refresh, but no, just seeing the little teter boats, I think, anoter half hour and she will be on her way to Juneau.
Thank you Paula, it will help. God honors our prayers. I am feeling better already. Nothing like a good eagle momster to put a smile on your face:)
You got it, Mauley. I'm sure this as a stressful time for you.
They just switched, Mits, I didn't see them coz I only have it on the 30 sec refresh
Donna, you know we are thinking and praying for him daily.
She is leaving at 6?
they pulled a switcharoo on us that fast...Paula, the lovely Frieda is back
I have it on the 10, and I missed it, but Sandra just sent out mail, she saw the 3 eggs.
MAULEY--
Prayers will be said for you and your nephew. I just can't imagine having a family member over there. Let's pray that this war will end soon.
The ship should leave in about 28 min if 6:00 is what the Capt is shooting for. Looks as though the parking lot has cleared out..Buses all gone. See Spidey on the south cam..lol
Found the panoramic view
Just had my ice cream also.
Ok, Megan, I had your helping too.
Hope the Capt. has a good pair of sunglasses.

Mostly clear. Lows around 46. Light winds.
Right now I think our temp here in the valley is bout the same as Juneau! It is cold out tonight!
But it feels wonderful
Since Freida looks so antsy, is it time to hatch yet?
Princess Dawn web cam from bridge is pretty now......... Very clear......
Good night Anne - enjoy your dinner!
beautiful ripples in the water.
It really is getting to be about hatching time, Mits. The forum never pin pointed an answer - but mid Sept I think was it.. I'll need to go back and read..
She just seems to be moving alot.
Cruises, apple delights, eagles what a great blog tonight.
I hope everyone is enjoying this cooler weather we have tonight, excellent for sleeping.
I hope you Ladies enjoyed Iris's cruise tonight.
Spent a wonderful day with Tori, I miss her not being here with me, the house is so empty, reading your posts are cheering me up.

http://www.cruise-addicts.com
I get the same pic as from the cruise addicts, but mine comes straight from the Princess Cruise Lines.
54° here now.
All the different sites I put up have the very same bridge cam shot...
I'm thinking that little white ship is Annes' on the south cam, no much headway since they changed the sign to Juneau
It's either stuck or they stopped
We'll find out soon enough I guess...I thought that was hers too, cox it turned around.
Paula, it is 62° in Sitka right now.
Time updated, same pic.
I guess the have other things on their mind besides checking to see if cam is updating or not.
When hubby came home from being out of town, wanted to know what I was doing...told him I was watching a cruise ship...he wanted to know if that was the same as watching grass grow....well right now it is:):):):):)!
I sent the cruise addicts link.
Anne's ship looks to be movng now
Time for me to put this ship to bed
Hope you don't need to walk the dogs again, Paula, because it is Nippy out!
Good Night All
Peaceful rest & Pleasant dreams
Prayers being said for all your needs
Good Thursday morning all you Early Birds
Good Girl JO--
I have been watching you. A cruise to Istanbul or is it Constantanople? And a cruise to Alaska is too much in one evening. So you should be in bed and sleep in in the morning. Rest Well.
GOOD NIGHT LADIES
TOMORROW IS GOING TO BE BEAUTIFUL.
NIGHT
Hi, everyone. How's the cruise going?
Thought I would mention a lot of candles in the chapel, which were lit for Sharon's family members, are going out. I just lit another to replace the one that will go out in about an hour.
Anybody spot any interesting birds on the nests today?
Jim
Well, it looked like she was moving....
I think there were some eagles at BW this morning, Jim. Other than that, Frodo was on earlier, now Frieda's turn.
Did you check out the link from Bob Quinn on today's posts. Awesome eagle pics from Homer, Alaska.
Thanks, Paula, I saw some comments about lobster rolls by Bob, but not about eagles...I'll look again.
Jim

Well, the little one got tired out, Bai won. Squiggles is up by mom's head, and mom has her left paw on Squiggles legs. Both are now sleeping.
That little faker! She must have gotten her breath, now she's trying to get out from under again. Those little hind legs are really going! Bai's still asleep. That little cub is so cute.
Awww Suz, that baby sure suiggles and wiggles, good morning.
Nice and cool here, 54 here and can't sleep since my woofs decided to get loud at 3am, so here I am :)
errr squiggles that is
Morning, Robyn!
Reminds when Tai was born, would stay up for hours watching.
My kitties do just that walk all over me
LOL, yeah, Robyn they're good for that! I didn't get to see Tai or Mei when they were growing up, but I can this little one, and it's fascinating! I just love watching these 2. Bai is such a good mother.
I smell COFFEE brb
Robin, Bai rolled off Squiggles, but the little guy didn't move. Now mom has her paws up there again, but don't think they're covering the cub. Should be feeding time soon, and if Squiggles keeps moving she's gonna wake mom. Look at the leg go! Too funny!
Giving it the ol college try yet again! Look at those legs moving!
lol reminds me of T sleeing
Looks like Squiggles is taking another break.
BRB
haha can't keep her legs still
Maybe she is dreaming Suz
Could be, Robyn. She's having a very excited dream!
Did you go outside and see the stars? Beautiful night out, and I can still see some stars here. That's unusual, so much ambient light, they're hard to see. But tad nippy for me!
Uh oh, there goes Bai, Squiggles woke her up. Bai left, Squiggles still kicking!
I'll be out soon enough to get T for the bus, to chilly for me yet but I love this weather
She's a wiggly little thing!
I do too, Robyn. When do you have to get Tori? About 6ish? Don't remember.
Good morning, Suz, Robyn.
I had to get up, and I'm hoping to get back down soon...wanted to say "Hi."
Jim
Squigs all alone and break dancing it looks like LOL
GOOD Thursday MORNING SUZANNE AND ROBYN! Woke up a little early so thought I would see what is happening. Missed all the Squiggles squiggling this morning, but did put her up on the screen for the children to watch yesterday in school. So I did get to see a little bit of the two beauties for a few minutes.
Hi Jim! Check out the little cub, she's been kicking those legs all morning!
looks like she wants to flip over and find mom s/he is so adorable
Wow, hi Candy! Lots of folks today! Squiggles is still squiggling, she hasn't stopped. She takes a breather every once in a while, then goes back at it. Bai left a minute ago.
Oh, there she goes, on the tummy! She made it. Now let's see if she starts scooting...
Morning Jim and Candy
I get Tori at 630 bus comes at 645
We also got to see the eagles on the BW nest for a bit; two at the time we looked.
LOL, this is too funny. All that work, now on the tummy and worn out. Gonna take a rest for a minute.
ROBYN So glad to hear Tori is just loving school this year. It really makes a difference if you are enjoying it. Hope her health is still improving.
OH, ok, Robyn, I was a half hour early.
glad you got to see the eagles yesterday too, Candy! Seems they come early in the morning, then don't show up for the rest of the day. Well, at least while I'm at work, anyway. Osprey was there yesterday too.
or two or three lol
I have been sooo tired after school nights, that I lay down for a nap and am asleep for the rest of the night. I missed the cruise last night. :( Still have to read the blog and check mail.
Candy, I know exactly how you feel! Sometimes I try to take a quick catnap, but then I'm just so tired I just go to bed early.
Me too Candy, she claims she hates math yet they want to test her for gifted, I am so glad I put her in public school this year, she looks like she is finally coming out of her shell
Candy enjoy the sleep wish I could have slept longer tonight
SUZANNE I hope you had a nice day for your birthday yesterday. It was my teacher's birthday also and she is just like a kid; loves birthdays and Christmas. Told the children she was 39 when she is actually 50 something and a kid shouted out that his Dad was that age. :)
Squigs still alone, I can't recall if Mei left tai this much, Mits would know.
Yeah, Robyn, Bai left Squiggles yesterday for over half an hour. It was early like this, too, but don't remember the exact time.
What I can see looks happy this morning...have a great day, eagle lovers.
I'm going to give it another try in the rack...
Jim
I wondered where Squiggles was and stood up to find her on the screen. She is such a cute little honey bun. She is not moving at all.
Candy the work her math class is doing this year she took last year and finding it very boring but she approached me and I am so proud of her to keep me informed of her education, I only know the things I ask her and what she brings home. I do have her teachers emails just in case lol
GOOD MORNING JIM. Sorry to hear that you can't sleep. Here's hoping that you will soon be zzzzzzzzing again soon on this try.
Night, Jim. Hope you can go back to sleep.
Squiggles is about 9 o'clock. The little black and white fuzz ball!
she wore herself out rolling over Candy :)
Sounds like she's doing great, Robyn!
Squiggles is 42 days old today, bet her eyes are open. Darn, when is the next exam due, anybody know?
I didn't have this repoire last year no offense anyone but all they wanted to do as hold hands and pray, it wasn't helping Tori academically.
But I see squigs all alone, maybe she just wanted the bed to herself :)
Well the time is getting towards 6am and I have to start to get ready for school. It has been nice chatting this morning. Hope you both and all the other wonderful eagle bloggers have a very nice day. To the rest of you, keep on cruising and have a fun day of conversing and watching. BBL I hope.
Mom's back.
Have a good day at school, Candy! Weekend is right around the corner.
Bai nursing the little one.
BW is empty and mom woke squigs up...
LOL, she sure did, Robyn. Guess turn about is fair play!
enjoy your day Candy, hope the eagles are back at BW for you and your class today
There goes mom with the rolling the cub game!
she sure loves her baby :)
Just looked at Bob Quinn's pics over at BW, WOW such great shots, love the butterflies
They are beautiful, aren't they? He takes such great pics!
Looks like Bai is getting ready to sorta slide down and go to sleep. Yup, there she goes.
Think Squigs is still attached!
Well time for me to run and get Tori. Have a great morning Suz, running to b'fast with my friend after the girls are off to school.
Morning all you sleepyheads
BBL
She didn't stay down for very lone. Back to sitting and nursing.
