I forgot all about the "zoom" feature, Paula, thanks for the reminder. That's what I thought, too, about the grass.
I put some pictures up from today and also from the wedding back in January. I finally got some of my family.
Cam club was fun it always is. Tomorrow I will post the judging results on the photos.
Glad Sharon is doing so very well. Gosh my heart too so longs for the news that MeMa Jo has finished her surgery and all went well.

My sister saw the Osprey in CA again. I told her to go look for a nest at the wetlands area and what to look for. She said there are platforms there, but she didn't know they were for nests. I, so, wish we would have had time to look when I was out there.

The only owls with "ears" are the Great-horned, Eastern Screech and the Long and Short-eared ones. I am ruling out Long-eared, it doesn't look right, Short-eared is mostly a daytime owl. Too big for a Screech, which leaves the Great-horned.

There have long been problems with the reflecting pool and it's been empty more often than filled for the last few years. They keep talking about the trash, etc. and the constant algae problems....well, duh, how about more aggressive maintenance??!! And some park service policing would prevent some of the problems, if you know whaqt I mean!

Good morning all!! Happy Birthday Sis-O-Mine!!! Such a bittersweet day! My baby Aaron would be 29 years old today. He was 8 months old when we lost him! And our neice, Becca (Mattie's mom) is 34 years old today. So hard to believe. The years just keep flying by.

Just had a egg roll at our nest. Couldn't get a good look but did look like 3 eggs.
I always felt pretty ripped off because we didn't have Aaron for even 1 birthday but I have to tell you, God blessed me with some wonderful birthday presents at age 13 and 18. :)
Mattie, Justin and Becky came this morning to bring my gifts and cards. Becky made me a scrapbook that absolutely made me cry. It is so beautiful and so full of memories.
Mattie got me a Lady Antebellum CD. I love them. Andrew, so far, gave me a wonderful birthday hug!
I have a million ecards I have to go through and I have to work. I will be here on and off.
Sharon, what have you heard about Jo? Seems no one else has heard anything.

Heard from Dad last night around 9:30 and it went very well. I will be going in later this afternoon to see her and I will let her know you are all thinking of her. Please let all of the Eagle Momsters know.

talked to a very loopy Jo this a.m., she is on percoset and morphine....;), things are going well, heart and pulmonary docs were in, gave her an a-ok. she was going to CT for a test she was going to have next week, routine, but instead of bringing her back, the are just going to do it while she is there, says treatment has been great, and HELLO TO EVERYONE.

I just read Sharon's report on Jo. THANK YOU JESUS..(joke between me and Jo). We can all breath easier, knowing that Jo is now in the healing process.
Capt. Eagle said that he would pick up Jo at her house in the Eagle Express and carry her in, when we have a June get together:)

she said if it were up to the pulmonary and heart doctor, she would be released from hospital, but she is waiting for occupational therapy, to come in, while I was talking to her they arrived to take her for her CT and she said..."their coming to take me away"!!!!!

She is extremely pleased with the treatment so far, said she thinks she just has an ace bandage around her leg, but she hasn't looked at it yet. Ed was on his way, had some things to do this a.m.
exactly, thought she was going to break into song. I hate those drugs:(, but know you need them, said she had some pain around the kneecap, also told the docotor to put in gold screws...
Glad things are going well with Jo, that's the best report we can hope for!!
