I can forget breakfast, can't forget lunch...but when I get into doing something, sometimes lunch can come pretty late!
I forget a lot of things, but one thing I rarely forget to do is eat!

Doing pretty well - Just remembered to eat dinner lol Kidding of course. When you sit around watching tv, reading and not doing much of anything - you get HUNGRY! Limiting my carbos.. & calories.

We've updated the Eagle Cam Web Log with a new post about growing eaglets, Great horned owls, and our YouTube channel.
Jo, I have been getting Activia. I like the strawberry yogurt on strawberries and the vanilla yogurt on blackberries. It is my mid afternoon snack everyday. LOL I have Laurel eating it for her snack after school. She has lost 8 pounds recently. She is NOT overweight, but could slim up a little. She said I have been her inspiration.
Wish the red in the nest was not so quite red. Yuk!
Yes, I liked Lib looking right at us. He was sending a message for sure!
I have seen that one advertised. I am not a yogurt person but need to become one. Certain meds are raising my blood sugar...

It certainly has been an enriching two weeks for our pandas! Monday a week ago, they were plowing through the snow on their bellies, with the hills of their habitat providing the momentum for adding in somersaults and rolls. The excitement of the snow carried over into wild tree climbing and swinging, then down to the ground to get coated again. By Thursday, the temperature had shifted from below freezing cold to the sunny 70s, and snow-frosted pandas morphed into giant, dirty, mud sliders.
At the beginning of this week we added new logs to Panda Yard 1. Tai Shan got very excited as he watched the crane lowering the giant limbs into the exhibit. So far Tai is the first one to have the opportunity to explore these new furnishings. A bit shy at first, caution was soon replaced with exploration. The logs will provide exercise and resting places, and even a back rest for eating bamboo.
All the pandas continue to shred and consume bamboo at their maximum amounts typical of this time of year. Tian Tian takes time away from eating to show the typical breeding season or rut behaviors of pacing, investigating Mei’s scent marks, and marking over them. We are now seeing similar behaviors in Tai as he matures. Mei Xiang is in her own world, reminding the neighboring males that she is definitely not interested in their existence with her moans. We all watch Ms. Mei and wait expectantly for any change.

I know it sounds weird but I do forget to eat and I still have a weight problem. when I was working I was reminded by the clock. Now I just get going doing what I do and forget. My stomach doesnt remind me until way over time.I feel better now.

Well this has the makings of a very exciting weekend 30 secs at a time or a very long weekend. I don't at all like long weekends. Since I work tonight I can pass some of it sleeping tomorrow :). Here's hoping for that excitement 30 secs at a time. Catch ya all sometime tomorrow.
