Update:
You have noticed that the cam continues to struggle in the mornings, getting better as the sun charges things up again. An integral part of the new cam is a fuel cell system, that will ensure constant power, despite the temperature and available light. We do not have that fuel cell yet, but soon.

Dana - Katie was actually grooming Bridget and I snapped the picture in mid groom so it looks like she was sticking her tongue out at her. Katie had never had a hairball until Bridget came along and when she did it was Bridget's hair.
Oh Bob i am in tears here the grey cat with Katie is a twin to my Tinker Belle i had her 16 years..Had to have her put to sleep 3 years ago due to cancer and i miss her everyday.. But had her cremated and her ashes in a beautiful cherry box...
I had a little black kitten that never ever wanted to be inside. Came in a couple times a week, checked the place out and left. Lived under an old garage around the corner. Drew, current resident cat, refuses to go out, and if he should make the mistake of exploring beyond the walls, he will take a fit til you let him in. One night he was sitting in the front window meowing like crazy. It was dark and I thought it was one of the strays. Then I looked again and thought that must be a new stray it looks like Drew. Little while later I realized it was Drew. DUH
Yes Nilla, they stay in our hearts forever.
I really hope Bob can get up to NCTC and take some pictures over there and add to his gallery.. Its such a beautiful place a abundance of wild life also for pictures...
I'm going to try to talk the wife into going to the NCTC Open House but it will not be an easy sell getting her to give up a weekend (any weekend) on the Eastern Shore.
Brutus is sooooooooooo tiny! I can't believe they make them that small! When you get him Nilla, I want to hold him just one time!
Hi Bob Mr Mayo's comment to you was very flattering! I can see what Lisa meant about Rachel having her very own beach! I love Katie and Bridget! My special loves are my Tigress and Scar! Tigress (female) is 18 and Scar (male) is only 6 and he was the stray that is now the biggest lovie dovie you would want to have around! Took us well over a 2 month period (dead of winter) to get him inside & to the vet. His name tells it like it was - fighter with half his neck ripped open. Not a pretty sight but it healed great! Took Tigress awhile to accept him - but now they sleep side by side.
Bob Use the mountains, the turning colors of the leaves, the pathway for the migrating birds and a great lunch and a great bunch of Momsters waiting to meet the 2 of you as your selling points!
Jo - If you throw in a couple of yard sales it might work but still not likely. I may have to let her go up to the Eastern Shore for the weekend and come by myself.

Great exhibits of beautiful birds at Open House. The candid pictures I got of the largest owl I had ever seen named Mommie were awesome! Megan will vouch for it!

Yes they have 2 ChiWaWahhas ( my spelling) Mother n daughter Peanut and Princess ... Peanut had 2 but the runt died.. Brutus will stay little like that for a very long time almost a year i was told... They want to breed Princess who is 2 years old but need to find a male to mate with... Cant breed her with Rocky because he is both dogs father... So anyone know of a lil stud chiwahwah let meknow..lol

No kitties here, had one but she left. She was always a street cat. A friend gave her to me, but when I moved here, she got out and never came back. I was the only one who could pet her. I would wake up in the morning with her laying on my chest, her face right in mine.

Table location outside would be great. I had told the Gift Shop to get their inventory of NCTC eagle items (Magnets & such) geared up because a lot of Momsters were coming.I know we cleaned them out the time we were there when Norma found the cane! I had gotten an wooden eagle statue and a NCTC eagle magnet.

Then tell her honey it will be a second honeymoon we can drive down to Harpers Ferry and its so romantic at night the old street lamps walking hand in hand in the moon light hearing the rivers meet while standing on the old railroad bridge as the moonlight shines in the water and the breeze on your faces... It is really a beautiful piece of history down there also..

Good Friday morning, world! Not too bad out today, 57 at home, 64 here. Lots of stars, and lots of whispy patchy fog in spots. Also had 3 deer (mom and 2 babies) try to stare me down this morning at 2:04! The were all standing in the middle of my lane, so saw them way before I came on them. Coming up to them they just sorta watched the car (lights probably blinded them), so stopped, blinked my lights at them, then it bacame a staring contest. Now I gotta get to work, and they want to stand in the road. Kept blinking my lights, too many houses for a horn at that hour, and finally mom strolled to the yard, then first one then the other followed her. I'm sure glad there were no cars on the road, those guys weren't in any hurry! Beautiful to see, though!
Saw Paula's last comment, saw both Lib and Belle last night! That's wonderful! So glad they both made an appearance. See we have a pic this morning with very few lines, so maybe I can check out their early AM appearance, if they make one. I'm thrilled! MT nest now, but it sure is nice to actually see the nest at this hour!
Bai and Squiggles are sound asleep, so glad Bai isn't restless this morning.

I've kind of been watching the clock and waiting for Lib and Belle, they used to show up somewhere between 6 and 6:30. Cam is also watching the clock, andd out it went. Darn! Was totally psychadelic, but came back just a little. Sighhhhhh, probably won't get to see them again today.
Bai and Squiggles have been snoozing for the last 2 hours. Bai got up and went outside for a few minutes, Squiggles never even woke up. She's moving around a little now, so maybe trying to wake mom to eat!
Frienda on her eggs, and the site doesn't mention any hatching, so they're not ready just yet. Maybe this weekend.
Squiggles won, Bai is nursing her. Our cam is clearing enough to see, but MT so far.

PAULA Congrats on also winning a trip in the spring to california to see all the goings o out thee. That is great that we now have two people headed that way.
Also, did get to see your images of the eagle visit last night and they were just great. I was soooo tired after work last night, that I layed down when I got home and slep through the night. Just seeing Liberty and Belle there is soooo exciting. I'll have to try to get on tonight around 7ish.

SUZANNE No bus duty today; just up a little early. There is nothing like a bus load of sceaming kids after spending a day with screaming, and obstinate Kindergartener. I only fill in as bus monitor when needed.

Frodo cam is pretty dark, but can still see a bird on eggs. Maybe today will be the special day for the first hatchings. One can always hope.
