Tesoro Oro has fledged. Still waiting to see Tess who has been MIA now since early yesterday afternoon or late morning bUT both now have left their nest.

Glo, they have somebody on cam out on a branch, but don't know which. Can't see an antenna. Oh, branch is on left of nest, they just panned out.
PA falcon on her eggs, hope she still only has 5. Goose is on the osprey nest in MN.
BW chicks are sleeping. What else? They have no energy to do anything else. Wish parents would feed them more!
CO owl twins are alone and have been most of the morning.
Let's see...turkeys in PA. Oh, both parents are in the nest in Hilton Head. Wonder what happened to the eggs, they have never said.
Belle (or Lib) still standing in same spot. May be laying down, hard to tell with all the fluff.

Yes Suzanne That is Oro. He stayed much closer to the nest tree...thankfully. I hope you saw the fledge film from yesterday I put it on Photobucket so you could see it.

Well, I have tried getting the still cam up through the Eaglet Momsters and Beakspeak and still nothing. I wonder what is up with that?
By the way, our cam is again the most watched cam on Beakspeak! I feel just like a proud mother!
Oh, it is so weird, I just tried getting the cam open thru other sites too. No luck. Hopefully they will fix the live feed soon. I did send Steve an email.

Thanks, Glo, but photobucket requires active x or something or other 8, which of course, I don't have. I've been watching those two, and they fledged while I was in my meeting! Grrrrrrrrrrrr. But I'm glad they finally fledged. Saw them a bit after the meeting, and watched as the parent kept trying to intice the one to return. Never did by the time I left.

Whoa, just lost both BW cams! What's up with that? Looks like Lib is standing on his perch facing nest, and all 3 of the kids are in the egg cup. As much as they fit, they are in the egg cup.

41° and windy here, last gust was 23 mph- the sun is shining.. lots of hawks flying around today, already seen several soaring over my yard.
Ok, one adult flew out to the right- think it was Belle- the eagle who just flew in is still there. Can't see chicks too well, he's in front of cam.
Hi Megan I heard them wonder if after he came in there was a hawk in their area.

I teach 4th, 5th, and 6th grade science in WV. My students have thoroughly enjoyed watching the eagle cam. We especially appreciate the short video clips that we can repeatedly watch and discuss.

I had a new bird show up yesterday at my feeders and didn't know what it was. After much investigation, I have discovered it is a fox sparrow. First time I have seen one! Beautiful bird!

Deb, where I live, there is woods all around and it is almost a dead end street, so not much traffic at all (except my new neighbor from Baltimore who is a real turd!)

Deb I had a squirrel that use to open the suet door and take the whole suet pack. I had to hook the door to the frame with one of those hooks like is on the end of a dog leash. The kind with the little hook on the end.

Hi everybody. Did the chick on the right get anything to eat from this feeding at BWE? I saw parent feeding the one on the left, did not see the one on the right even get a bite. Did anybody else? Also saw the one on the left try to eat herself, and couldn't quite do it.

Did anybody see the eaglet on the very right get any of this meal? BWE, I mean. Seems the bigger chick is now blocking the other one from getting near the leftovers, but I don't think he got any to start with. Looks like parent is gonna clean leftovers.

GOOD AFTERNOON, EVERYONE.
I just missed the 3 Ospreys at BWO. Saw the pair in several refreshes, looked at the gallery, but missed the intruder... if that's what it is.
I see the BW eagles have been eating well. Is that a fish?? Some angles look like it is, others don't.
Still trying to restore my puter files. Did a lot, have still more to do. I've got to get a decent backup program started. I've been relying on the "Restore" feature of XP, and it works well in minor problems, but those restore points disappear in no time when you are trying to restart your machine.
