There have been some great moments on the live feed today as the adult's feeding positions have given us some great closeups of the three youngsters. The bounty of food is really making a difference in their growth, which is rapid.

That picture was very precious. I checked out the website and in the gallery section there are more pictures of Freedom (and many other birds and animals). He looks very cute when his white feathers are new on his head-they are wild and sticking out everywhere.

My live feed will run for a few seconds and then freeze up. I bet I have restarted it about 50 times today. ARRGGGHHHH!!!!

The live feed is on and off for me also. I think it freezes every time I minimize it, for example to post a comment here.
Yesterday, I told you about the Hummingbird nest I spotted opposite my balcony patio....
Well, it was still there and being tended this morning, but now the tree trimmers are out there with a chain saw!!!
I'll have to wait to see if it survives.
The trees need trimming periodically, but Spring is definitely the wrong time.

Hey Sharon, boys went down and back in one day. They both signed letters of intent. They were so happy to be going somewhere away from home where their parents didn't know anybody. Til I told them I had a friend there too. HEHE. Now if we can just get all the paperwork done in time, we will be good.

They are taking the Two Harbors chick to the nest today. The watchers there think they are getting close to the nest.

The live cam is not working at all. The still picture one is and now the picture is quite good....even have a little color and pretty good detail in avery small picture.

My eagle cam still shows the 3 of them sleeping in a row. At 7:18 there is usually a parent in the nest. I your cam up at all?

Karen- have you gone on IWS forum to see some of the shots of Dr Sharpe placing the chick into the TownHouse nest & taking the wooden eggs. It was great seeing it done.
K81 & K82 are both at the TH nest now. Don't know if food was brought in.. No one has seen a 1st feeding yet.
I just watched some vidoes on the ME forum, great to actually see it. I think they were stills pieced together, they show the placement of the chick, and the parent arriving back at the nest.

Everyone is waiting for the 1st feeding. Hopefully 81 (Dad) just flew out for food while 82 (Mom) is brooding the little one. My regular TH cam isn't coming up for me anymore.
Yeah, it was stills and he pieced them together so it runs like a video.
During night time Our eaglets seem to want to be right next to each other if not almost on top of each other when sleeping. During the day they like to sleep far apart and all sprawled out.

Good morning, world. Hump day. Nice out, 50° in PA, but 47° here. No rain, no wind, some fog, so not all bad.
Looks like the kids are getting too big to share the egg cup with mom. Belle is standing on the side of the nest at 1 keeping an eye on the sleeping babies. BW parent is also in nest with her two, but they are all sleeping. Finland nest is MT. Not as foggy there as it has been. Have to open more cams. All have a great eagle/panda day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
Did one of the CO owlette fledge? I can only see one in the nest. I'll have to go back and see if anyone said anything. Well, he may be hiding behind the one in front, have to wait and see in a few if I see both of them.
Well, the female osprey has arrived in Finland. Both the male and female are in the Scottish nest. They sure have an awesome view of their Loch. Man, these ospreys have million dollar views overseas! Quite the condos!

Osprey has been in the Finland nest for a little over an hour. Guess they're claiming their nest. Was kinda hoping we'd get to see the sea-eagles nest there, but guess not.

Deer moved on, turkeys in PA. Yeah, I think our chicks aren't that much smaller than BW chicks. Couple weeks, they'll be caught up. Specially if BW doesn't start eating better!

It's really funny Suzanne ....I was reading about the Pileated woodpecker babies last night and the article said that the parent has to be very careful when feeding their babies to avoid injury because they get a bit aggressive about being fed. So I guess as they get older they get hungrier....LOL..

I got the Live Feed late last night and was surprised to still have it this morning. I don't have to tell you all how wonderful it is to watch those little wobbly babes. Tiny is almost as big as the others now. It is getting hard to tell them apart.
Floppy bacon...LOL. That is so funny, Sharon. That is the way I like my bacon, but I never thought to describe it that way.
I don't like grits or coffee, so help yourselves.
