Going to try again. If it does not work will go back to lurking.
It worked. Good morning everyone and a special good morning to my sister Helen
Thank you Steven.
Good morning Ceil!
Blogger cop is working full time!! Tried several times!!Ahhhh!! So frustrating! Let's see if this works....!
SO funny! Eaglets are trying so hard to get under Belle! they are getting their heads right up to her. Cover us up Momma!!
She is tenting a little. Tiny is the closest and he is managing to get under her a little. Wonder if she is doing this cause he is the youngest with fewer feathers?
Good Morning Ceil...
We have heard so much about you..feel like we know you. Glad you joined us. You probably know us all well from lurking. LOL
Any sister of Helen's is a sister of ours. WELCOME!
Lolly, I think Tiny is a little more persistent than the others.
Must get ready for church. TTYL
Well, I typed a huge paragraph describing the scene in the nest and the blogger cop wiped it out!
Ahhhhhh!!!!!
Anyway, I think it is so cute the way they are huddling next to Belle and Tiny is out of sight under her.
Going to go ready the paper before getting ready for church.
BBL
LOL Make that "read" the paper!
GOOD MORNIN' AGAIN EAGLE BUDDIES!!---HELLO CEIL!!--COOL finally meeting you!!--MORNIN' LOLLY---What's the menu this a.m.???--I just finished my 'FLOWERY SPEEL' on the other blog!!---"SUNNY" was our #1 EAGLE MOM today---WANDA & SUNNY are planing to go kayaking today in their drive ways--- HELEN gave us the RAINY weather forecast----SOOO!!--temp. is 53° here in WV---on the GLORIOUS "wet" a.m.----ENJOY-----LIFE IS GOOD!!
CEIL----Have you decided the sex of the EAGLETS?----Everyone always has a different opinion on that subject!!!----I like to think #3 is female-----but she seems to change her appearance every day?
WHOA!!---The 'LITTLE PRINCE' is eating his bamboo with both hands while lying down!!----ADORABLE LITTLE IMP!!!
Thank you. I do feel that I know all of you wonderful eaglet moms. Have been lurking since Spunky and cried the day he fledge. Tears of joy. Norma I think #3 is a girl. TTUL getting ready for Church.
ARE YOU LURKING?-----SISTER CEIL?----SUN is coming out in WV---and that is a good thing!!
Sorry cannot forget the eaglet dads and the guys at NCTC.
CEIL----I think I LOVE you!!---I always knew "SPUNKY" was a "female" too---will always keep her memory in my heart!!----Later!!!
OREGON EAGLE & nest -- SNOW COVERED!!---
HEY!---Have you submitted a name or names for the BW EAGLETS!!---
(you will never guess my entries) ho!
WOW!--KENT nest is movin' UP!!
The new WOOD DUCK has--24 eggs--site isn't sure when the incubating started!!
OH WOW!!!!My sister got back on....hey sis!!!!! She has been following this nest since the days of Spunky, she worries too much about all the birds and animals...needs to take it easy, thanks everyone for your welcomes to her. Trust me she reads every word of the posts, I read but at a faster pace, and probably miss some things, she works part time for a lawyer, so she is used to it
Good Morning Everyone!
Looks like April Showers brought flowers to the front of the nest!
How lovely is that?
just saw the sea eagle, I totally agree with Lolly, that does not look like the same type of eagle we saw in FINLAND.....Suzanne and I had thought they were Golden Eagles, but she sent a photo I think to Lisa at BW, and she identified them as sea eagles, but, jmho....think they were Golden's at FINLAND, unless there are differnt types of sea eagles.
I knew we needed to install an umbrella or canopy when they put that cam up there this year.
Our poor babies don't all fit now
:(
mating just happened in FINLAND
Off to B-Ball game....may get rained out, may not...MTBR:)
WOW! WOW!---Checked back in---Other people have joined!!----WONDERFUL!! ho!---- MORNIN' HELEN---NATURENUT & GLO!!---I think our little '3 MUSKETEERS' are going to receive some more rain!!---Starting to get cloudy again!!
GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE~~Norma, Ceil, Mits, Wanda, Glo, Lolly, and everyone, who will come on to the blog today.
C(°?°)3
Jim
WHOA JIM!!---I think it's time for your MONOLOGUE!!!---What's happening?
I ONLY SEE 2?????????????
Guess that #3 is in front???
MONOLOGUE??? Norma? Have you noted a pattern?
Jim
lol Good Afternoon! Happy to see everyone was here this morning hour..
Really raining a lot & boy the thunder awakened me - everything is soooooo green! Glad you got back in Ceil! I wonder if there was a market for Megan & Paula and a ballgame for Helen?
OHHHHH! Those dark WET feathers on our little ones! Really proud of them taking care of themselves.
MORNIN' JO!!----We haven't had thunder & lighting here---Lot of RAIN---last nite---not much the past few hours!!
Adult has returned to the nest and is
tenting - now that is true parenthood.
Check out the eagle at Kent, which landed with its feet beneath the frame of cam #2. And that would seem to mean they have a substantial part of the nest rebuilt.
[:~)]
Jim
YEAH COOL JIM!!!----I felt I was talking to myself for quite a while this morning!! ho!
JO!!---those are wv eagles---what did you expect---ho!
Jim Had you read that Loraine at Kent confirmed that it really is Spirit with Star?
Norma - we had very very loud thunder this early morning.
I hear ya Norma!
JIM---I noticed that this a.m.---Haven't seen a EAGLE though---
I haven't read anything about "live" feed this morning, but mine is working now without sound.
[:~)]
Jim
Eagle at Kent again.
[:~)]
Jim
Checked on the wood duck - still incubating. Jen (The nest watcher/keeper) is away for the week & everyone hoping they don't start to hatch until her return JUST in case she is needed to free the last chick like she had to do on the other nest box...
WOW right up at the cam at Kent
I got to see him this time...
Wish we had a view of the entire nest
Jim Norma
Here is a link I just love these little owls...
Mama Cali & Hooties
One forum has nicknamed them Winkin',
Blinkin' and Nod!
I learn something every time I look at the BW site---LISA -- explained how the OSPHREYS "MOLD THE NEST CUP"----2 OSPHREYS have been in nest most of the am---1 there now!
Going to check out a few emails...
BRB
JO---I read the folks at the TX WOOD DUCK site--aren't sure when she began incubating the eggs!!!--Isn't she lovely??---
JIM---I haven't heard anyone complain about not having the sound either!---We are "HAPPY CAMPERS" with live feed!!---ho!!
Kent eagle on Cam 1 Way up on tree limb.
I think Lolly said they were going to be going to the Botanical Gardens in VA soon. Forget just when..
Eagle nesting there.
JO---You are right---BELLE has gotten all "3" under her tent!!---She is our #1 EAGLE MOM!!!
Lisa has so many links at the end of her article on the Osprey Web Long..
CO site---Seems every bird is getting some sunshine!!---EAGLETS too!!---OSPREY in nest!!
I think the older photo of the 3 EAGLETS-- waiting to be banded -- is TRULY PRICELESS!!!----Who wouldn't love those 'HAPPY FACES'??? ho!
Think it was a wee bit warm under MOM'S WINGS---ho!!---One can see parts of all the little 'IMPS' sticking out!!!!----
LIFE IS GOOD!!
They may be hoping for some lunch
I didn't see them when they got fed this am
It is time for me to get started for the day -- little late to be saying that but That's Life!
Talk with you later, Norma - stay dry
BBL
No sound here, either.
Hope the nest has good drainage! It's raining buckets in Hedgesville!!
HEDGESVILLER---We haven't had sound all day!!!----does your name start with b?
Home from church.
Mits, thank you, thank you for a agreeing with me about the Finland eagles. I thought I was all alone in that thought. They do look more like golden eagles than sea eagles, but who am I, certainly NOT a bird expert. lol
Yes, Jo, we fly to Virginia in the morning. Going to Willamsburg until Thursday, but tomorrow we are heading straight to Norfolk Botanical Gardens. May not see the nest, but may see an eagle, and we will be close!!!! And, I plan on enjoying the gardens IF it is not raining. But, will accept the rain, it is part of nature as well.
So Guys, I will be a wee bit closer to you this week!
BELLE is GOOD!!!!---She is feeding the "3 MUSKETEERS"---Has them all lined up in a row--REALLY!!---she is feeding them--#1--#2 & #3--!! &
NO FIGHTS!! ----Love those wet eaglets!!!
Just tunning in for a minute...
Lunch is being served & Tiny is sure a 'grabber'. All 3 lined up & not sure how long the feeding has been going on!
Safe Journey Lolly! You should really enjoy your trip! I love Williamsburg! I bet you will see an eagle or even the nest.
Lolly this info for your trip at the gardens........
Eagle Nest Location NBG
BBL
Missed the feeding, but now they're all lined up like 3 Musketeers! Tiny is still a little bit grey---will be hard to ID them soon.
Lolly, How exciting you will be coming a little North. Your trip sounds great--plz take pics & we can have film at 11!!
LOLLY---I AGREE with you in regard to the SEA EAGLES---I MARKED a favorite video last year---'SEA EAGLES PLAY CHICKEN'---from NGEO!!---not the same bird!!!
NATURENUT!!----That was COOL watching them be so polite---I got tickled & couldn't even type!!---This is the crew that was pecking away at each other before----ho!
JIM!---TWO EAGLES---KENT SITE 1---
Now they're all curled up together. I know it's survival of the fittest, but I think they're fairly mellow. Hope the GOOD behavior continues.
Guess it's raining again. Adult back to put up tent!
LOL Let me under! Let me under!
Watching the Pope - Not raining
Watching the ballgame - Not raining
Middletown Valley - it's pouring!!!
PEREGRINE FALCON nesting on ledge at the 'RACHEL CARSON' BLDG. in PA!!----Such a noisy place!!
Did you see them JO?---all lined up & waiting their turn to be fed!!! Such manners!! ho!
NOT RAINING IN ROMNEY EITHER!!

POOR BELLE---needs a comb---BLESS HER HEART!!!
What do you think the female at BWO is doing at the moment??
[:~)]
Jim
I think my live feed went down.
[:~)]
Jim
JIM---I think I lost my live feed too!!!
LOLLY---I GOOGLED the SEA EAGLE---You both are right!!---Many kinds of SEA EAGLES----The one I have is a WHITE TAILED EAGLE!!---The EAGLE you all have been watching is also called a SEA EAGLE!!!----May help you folks some----
Ate lunch outside, and then of course, if I go outside, I stay outside. There is always something to do!
However, I gotta pack!!!!
Jo, thank you!!! It printed out beautifully. It will be a huge help. Eagle nest here I come!
Norma, thanks! Glad to know there are many varieties of sea eagles.
Afternoon, all.
Glad the live feed was up for awhile, Megan said it was down before she left for the market! It's down again, tho.
Market was a washout...but got to stop by NCTC and see Belle covering the eaglets.
I watched the live feed and saw her feeding those polite eaglets! I love the way they were lined up too.
When she left after that, the rain had stopped, and she flew across the field to the trees behind the cam. She dried out her wings for a few minutes, then maybe 50 ft right in front of me, she swooped down and grabbed some grass with her talons, then looped around and landed back in the nest.
Then she flew up into the sycamore tree, where she sat with her wings out drying, before the rain started again. Then she flew into the nest to tent the chicks again.
Are there still three eaglets? I thought I could only see two.
No trouble, Trouble. We still have three chicks. Tiny is hard to see sometimes. Welcome to our Blog. Visit us often.
Belle is back
Belle feeding at the far end of the nest
LIVE FEED IS UP!
Yes it is Deb! Hooray!
Bringing in dry bedding.
Thanks Deb
Not too much out there that's dry...it was pouring when I was there, stopped about 10 minutes, then started again. But maybe it's drier than what's in the nest!
The tree is still really bare, not a leaf out on it yet.
Hi, everyone. I got caught up on this part of the blog, but not yesterdays. The poor eagle in OR, sitting in the snow.
Yay! Live cam back! It disappeared while I was away watching Pope.
Announcer said rain delay in Baltimore stopping O's & Yankees game in 9th inning. And NY was ahead.Mits will be late getting home!
Paula, must have been great to see Belle fly by!
And she's back again
It was really cool, and surprised me...couldn't even get a video of it!
I lost my live feed already.
Not for long, though.
OH, and FYI, the Shepherdstown Market started the weekend before Easter...there weren't a lot of vendors there today because of the rain - and none of the other special vendors showed up except me
And gone and back again
My live feed is up/running now.
Little one going around in circles trying to get under the adult.
Sorry Market didn't go due to rain.
It stops here & then the very next minute it is bucket downpour.
Getting ready for dinner....
Oh, market was happening, just very slow...
OR eagle left the nest. I hope it is just a switch coming.
Eagle back in OR. That was a beautiful fly in.
the snow is going to bury the eagle in OR. I think the other eagle is in the tree above the nest.
Our eagles are getting drenched again.
Belle is sooo good! She can not cover her children, but she will stay right there with them.
Just looking in on our gang!
Not very good conditions for living in a nest!
I can see Middy (I think) up by Belle's breast. Orange feet gives him away & he is walking around. I also see Pearl with her head under Belle. Tiny must be completely under Belle!
Belle is drenched!
Hi Lolly! Doesn't your heart go out to her!
Hi Jo! Was just wishing I could see Tiny. He is really hidden.
We are still in this storm system.
Just starting to have more thunder & the rain stops but then starts up again.. All day tomorrow may be the same!
And, yes, my heart does go out to her. Since she has been out of the nest at night recently, you know she is there for her babes in the rain. The are all so soaked!!
Earlier I was concerned for Tiny. He just had his head hanging.
That kind of dedication is just amazing to see, isn't it? They all look like drowned rats!
Sorry haven't been on much tonight, trying to catch up and I am just totally beat.
Have a good trip tomorrow, Lolly, hope you enjoy the gardens and Williamsburg.
I just got my Live Feed back up. It has been off for a long time.
Our little family is soaked...it is 57°, so they won't freeze, but I am sure they are uncomfortable.
Thanks Paula! We are packed and ready to go. Have taken the cat to "camp". Annie was not happy. Have to get up at four in the morning. Not good, but that will give us a good part of the day in Norfolk. However, looks like rain, so I have my umbrella packed!
Belle and kids need that umbrella right now. Poor things! Belle is trying so hard to take care of them.
Yes, Wanda, my live feed is up again too. :~D
Fortunately, for all the birds in the frame, because of the feather's construction and the oil they preen them with, they are pretty much rain proof.
The littlest one has fluff yet, so he's been staying under the tent most of the time today.
C(°?°)3
Jim
Oh no Mom! You moved!
Spidey's webs are sure going crazy in the wind and the rain. I'd like to see them get blown away.
C(°?°)3
Jim
Osprey at Finland nest at sunrise.
Jim, I lost my feed again. Amazing how you can get it so far away, and I am just 3 miles away from the nest and cam. I guess that has nothing to do with it.
Just heard of Tornado warnings in parts of WV and Va. Need to go listen more carefully.
Scottish osprey may also be tenting!
I don't know that much about it either, Wanda. Distance might not have anything to do with it.
Only 3 miles! You could run your own wire to your home!
C(°?°)3
Jim
I just stopped & restarted my live feed - up/running very well.
Jim, LMBO!
Jo, you must have a magic touch.
I had to stop mine earlier, but just brought it back up and it's working great. Mom still in the nest, bless her heart.
Hi, Mema Jo.
How goes it? Did you catch the Pope's visit? I'm still watching some of the videos on EWTN. I think it was a very "hopeful," successful visit.
C(°?°)3
Jim
Did any of you watch the video of Kelly Clarkson singing Ava Maria for the pope?
I didn't, Lolly. Was she subdued or did she go over-board?
The BWO pair are working busily lately and are getting their nest box pretty full now. I wonder how long before they start their egg laying.
C(°?°)3
Jim
I don't think I've seen that yet, Lolly.
Was that at St. Patrick's or at Yankee Stadium?
C(°?°)3
Jim
It was beautiful. She did an excellent job. She performed first for a youth rally. Not sure where it was. Then she sang for the Pope. The paper gave a good review so I went searching for it.
I found a video of Kelly singing at St. Joseph's Seminary ... 2 sites. But the video is no longer available. Bet somebody's going to market that one.
C(°?°)3
Jim
She is our small home town girl, so I really wanted to know how she did. She looked great, nothing funky, and she did a fantastic job.
It is copywrited. You can find it there. I'll see if I can find it again.
Well, I can not find it where I found it this morning, but when I googled "Kelly Clarkson sings Ava Maria" I did find some new sites that have it.
Hey all!
What's the link for the wood duck nest? :)
I talked to my friend Erin on Wednesday, she is very positive and ready to do whatever is needed. She has also decided that, if she ends up having to go thru a treatment that could cause her hair to fall out, she will cut it all off first and donate it to the group that makes wigs for cancer patients (Erin has long, thick, straight blonde hair).
I remember what it was like when I started to lose my hair, and I also decided to cut it all off. Let me tell you, some people have a head shaped for baldness, and some people don't -- and I don't! HAHA
Ever since then, I let my hair be natural -- which means kind of wild, curly/wavy, and never colored it -- and I only get it cut once a year. I was going to schedule my annual cut for next week when Erin told me about her plan. So I told her, if she cuts off all her hair....I will too.
At least I would be cooler this summer!
HAHA
:)
Delphia, my youngest daught had a bout with Alopecia after a traumatic time in her life. She too, cut off her hair and wore wigs for a year or two (I can't remember exactly). When her hair grew back out, it was VERY curly. She had poker straight hair all her life. Strange.
Eagle at Kent 1.
I just noticed the Kent Cam isn't refreshing, time is stuck at 19:58:24.
Okay, time for bed up early (four!) in the morning. Keep an eye on the nest for me and I will be talking with you late Thurs. or Friday! I'm off to see a garden about an eagle! LOL
Take care til then!!!!
Have a good time, Lolly. I hope you get to see the eagles!
Well, Lolly, the video was on UTube, and it has been removed from all the sites I have checked.
Everywhere the Pope has been they have had a lot of beautiful singing...Placido Domingo even sang at the Mass in Washington.
[:~)]
Jim
It looks like the rain has let up on Belle and the chicks. They are in the open, and she's snoozing, it looks like.

Those eagles are waiting for you Lolly! Safe Journey!
Good Night Everyone
Pleasant dreams & peaceful sleep
Weekend has passed & Monday is close
Prayers for all being said......
Got ya covered Lolly

Link Wood Duck
Thanks, Lolly, but it has been removed.
UTube says it was due to a copyright claim by Fox Channel 5 in New York.

Jim
This one is still on for now:
Kelly sings
GOOD NIGHT, EVERYBODY.
I hope you have a great week ahead.
[:~)]
Jim
Thanks, Deb. She sang it beautifully, simply.
Glad I got the chance to hear it.

Jim
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE
SLEEP TIGHT
PRAYERS
WELL, GOOD NIGHT OR GOOD A.M., WHICHEVER YOU WANT Hubby and I went out to dinner after B-ball game and when we came home, I started to read e-mails and my eyes got tired, so I layed down for a little while and here I am...wanted to get caught up before I start again tomorrow. TTYT!
Good morning, world. Monday rolls around again, and a rainy one at that. Rain from drizzle to deluge all the way down. 58° in PA, 59° in VA, not too bad. Looks like Belle in the nest with the kids, and they are ALL soaked! Poor guys. BW kids appear to be dry. Both Finland nests are MT, and one of the parents is on the eggs in Scotland. Nothing else open at the moment, and today and tomorrow will be extremely busy for me, so I may try to lurk, but probably won't post much, or be able to view the cams. Darn. All have a great eagle/panda day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
OMG, do I see CEIL???? ON THE BLOG???? Actually blogging???? Wow, look at all the things that happen on weekends! Way to go, girl, and welcome aboard! So nice to actually have you here! I'm so glad you decided to join us. Oh my, wasn't even going to go back to see what I missed this weekend, now I guess I better. Oh my goodness, welcome, Ceil. That's great.
Our kids and Belle are still sleeping in the rain, BW kids are sleeping also, but looking wetter than they were. Both Finland nests are MT. Scotland osprey sitting on eggs. No other cams open. Oh, this must be Wonder Woman, has her back to us, but mouth is going. Egg turning time. Ok, eggs turned, wiggled back down, and yup, here comes the moss, so that's mom. or maybe not. Took a clump of moss and just moved it, but not close or any farther than it was. Don't now who this is.
GOOD MORNING SUZ...
It has been raining here all day yesterday and all night; very hard at times. It is 57° and suppose to rain off and on today also.
Jim tells me the babes are rain-proofed now and can take it. Belle looked so unhappy last night; she covered Tiny but not the others. It was almost like she knew they would be OK, but felt guilty for not putting her umbrella over them.
Live Feed is not working for me this morning. :(
Morning, Wanda. Yes, she was sitting with them this morning. They were all soaked, bless their hearts. Kids are too big now to get under her. I hope they'll be alright. But they're almost a month old, so they should be ok. And it's not terribly cold out, so that's something. Poor BW kids are soaked also, and all alone. So what else is new there??
Back to it, just checked in to say good morning. Busy day today and tomorrow.
Wanda, your turkeys are in PA, and there is a tom among them! Strutting his stuff. Ok, back to work.
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!!---It's a damp morn.----SUN is peeking through the clouds!!---BELLE & LIBERTY -- PLUS 3---were all good 'troopers' & made it through the rain----bit damp----maybe!! It's going to be a GLORIOUS day here in WV--temp 54°-------LIFE IS GOOD!!----ENJOY!
HELLO----SUZANNE & WANDA!!---The TURKEYS are strutting in PA!!--Early spring is mating time & close to-- if not is SPRING TURKEY SEASON!!!----Aren't they beautiful!!
GOOD RAINY MONDAY MORNING EVERYONE
Yes, SUZANNE, I sustained minor injuries, when I fell off my chair, when I saw my sisters' post, that one came out of left field...:)
Our chicks are wet, but look in good condition.....
BELLE (?) & The "3 MUSKETEERS" are all huddled in the corner of the nest----They look so much better this a.m.!!----Aren't they GOOD LITTLE TROOPERS!!---
Norma, I only see the 3 chicks, but they look good
HELEN---Are you talking about my 'new best friend'???---ho!---She thinks #3 is a female too??---I am looking forward to seeing her on the blog again soon!!----COOL!!
yes, Norma, she is a sweetheart:)
Good Morning Helen and Norma...
Helen, I have heard you comment on your sister so many times and knew that she lurked; so when she came on the blog, I thought she was going to tell us that something was wrong with you! Glad there wasn't. LOL

Morning, Norma and Helen. Norma, mr Tom is strutting his stuff for the ladies! Think he's got one picked out... maybe. She seems less than impressed...
Helen, all I can say is, I'm sure glad I was sitting down when I saw the first post on here! Saw it, had to read it twice to be sure I saw it correctly!!! Also very glad I did NOT have my coffee in my hand at the time. Woulda burnt my hand! But sure was glad to see she had finally decided to join us.
Sorry I meant Wanda.....not Suzanne, have not had COFFEE yet today, better go get some, huh????
would have been nice for a win, Norma, but haven't been to Camden Yards in years, and it still looks good...although I was shocked to see a new hotel and condo buildings, that block the entire skyline of Baltimore....BUMMER!!!!
OREGON -- BLACK SCREEN---worried about her---she was sitting on a snowy nest in the snow yesterday!
LOL, Helen, coffee is a good thing!
Norma it is only 5 a.m. out in OREGON, still dark there.
2 OSPREYS - BWO
BWE NEST!!---MOM & EAGLETS are just SOAKED!!!---
MY MIND IS SOAKED TOO HELEN---FORGIVE ME!! ho!

NCTC NEST CREW!!---Waiting for 'MEALS ON WINGS'---ho!---Think they are getting a wee bit testy now!!!
have they eaten yet this a.m.?
Good morning everyone. Busy day here and I am already late but wanted to say hi and check in on our little ones. Eagles, pandas and all.
Good morning, Sister Ceil:) nice to see you here.
BTW, Ceil, is short for Cecilia Ann
BTW, NORMA AND SUZANNE, last Wednesday when you were watching pandas at zoo, it was Mei Xiang that was running around like a crazy woman, found that out from the cam operator when I arrived, we thought it was Tai....getting hard to tell who is who there now:)
bath time at NZ for the elephants and they are loving it:)
Pearl just looked to the sky, maybe food is coming soon
love the way she seems to have taken on the role of the big protecter, when mom and dad are not in the nest
Good Morning everyone; I just wanted to say Hi,I will be back
later i have some work to do.
