Thanks Steve-LIVE FEED IS DOWN- can you help us with that??

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Could somebody tell me where our 3rd eaglet is?

floralgirl said...

Hello Sharon-Well, it would be easier to do with the live feed pic, but I think there are two chicks sitting right beside each other at the front of the nest.

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Okay Megan. Thanks, my stomach was really starting to get butterflies.

Suzanne said...

Thanks for the new thread, Steven, and the heads up, Sharon. Morning, all.
Breakfast for the little NBG chick! Adorable little fuzzball.

Costume Lady said...

SHARON...I hope he didn't fall over the side of the nest. I hope he is hiding in front of sibling as Megan said.

JohnNCTC said...

The live feed is down due to a problem with our cable modem. We are working with the cable modem provider to get this fixed. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

MITS said...

I just e-mailed Steven, to see if he can check on the closed circuit TV

normabyrd said...

BLUEFIELD SHARON --Ask JOHN if he can see #3--(my favorite)??----The little 'urchins' love to lean over the edges & look down!!----Maybe we should get a net around the bottom of the tree!!!----

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

It might be laying down at 1 o'clock. Kind of looks like the very top of a head there.

Suzanne said...

Morning, all. All 3 babies are there, one is hiding behind the one standing on the right.

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

Okay, looks like 3 there now!!

wvgal_dana said...

wvgal_dana said...

Don't have time now to read back on comments. Have an appt. this AM.
When did little one hatch at Norfolk?

MITS said...

Norma, I don't think it was Tiny that was missing, we just could not find a third eaglet

normabyrd said...

SUZANNE---How is life on the CAT-NIP RANCH??---ho!-----Have you gotten 'THE QUEEN' to taste it yet!!----LIFE IS TOUGH FOR QUEEN SHEBA!!!

MITS said...

yesterday, Dana

Suzanne said...

BWO osprey scared me to death. Thought the egg was unattended, but parent is there standing on the cam arm. She pops her head up sometimes and can see the top of her head. Now she's back on the egg. Looks like Belle is trying to tent to keep the kids dry. Don't think they fit anymore.

normabyrd said...

MORNIN' DANA!!---Hope your Dr. appt. goes well this a.m.---I have one today too!!---

Suzanne said...

Both parents back in Finney's nest!

Suzanne said...

Look at Isla, just steady talking! She's a hoot.

normabyrd said...

I watched the VA LADY yesterday & was most sure the egg had hatched!!!---Could tell by the way she was acting!!---WONDERFUL!

Suzanne said...

Dana, Wanda told me sometime yesterday afternoon for NBG. Little one has had breakfast this morning.
Norma, My little Queen Sheba will never like catnip. I've been giving it to them for years, and she has never been interested. Others like it, though! She just wants some because I give the others some, so she has to have some too. Sniffs it, walks away.

wvgal_dana said...

Thanks Mits glad the little one made it into the world ok. ( :

Norma this is just a cleaning at the Dentist.

Look at poor Belle trying to keep the kids dry.

Suzanne said...

Mating again, Finney's nest.

floralgirl said...

Whoa-full house here, hello everybody Thanks John- we are trying to be patient- I miss the live feed:( Lots of rain coming at us, gonna be a soggy day.

normabyrd said...

SUZANNE---Watching the OSPREY in the metal boxes!!---Does she have a name???

Suzanne said...

Don't know, Norma. But I'm gonna name Finney's dad Tian. His aim is about as good as Tian's! Tian the osprey, good grief.

Belle has her wings full trying to keep those big kids dry. Bless her heart!

floralgirl said...

Suzanne, I just checked my Xmas wreath, there are 4 baby carolina wrens in there, they must have hatched over the weekend.

Suzanne said...

Mating, bwo.

normabyrd said...

MEGAN---NPR predicts WV may get some snow this evening!!!---??

floralgirl said...

Norma- please don't use that 4 letter word!!! Gonna be chilly here the next few nights, gonna have to turn the heater on in the GH- calling for low 40's here tonite-but then 30's the next 2 nites.

wvgal_dana said...

Oh Megan I just love wrens..use to be my wake up caller...lol

Norma that better be in the "higher elevations"!!

wvgal_dana said...

Norma that has now become a cuss word lol

floralgirl said...

Yes,Dana, they are one of my favorite birds, real characters. For years we had a pair who built in a coffee can that had been left in the garage. The nest in the wreath is hanging right outside the house, so when the male starts singing at 5:30 am, it sounds like he is in the house...

floralgirl said...

Yes, in late April snow is foul language here. lol....

wvgal_dana said...

Yep Megan you have a "wake up caller" lol

normabyrd said...

Both STORKS are in the nest in GERMANY---MOM is sitting serenely on the nest & DAD is standing behind her 'preening'----Not sure when the eggs will hatch!---They are TOO BEAUTIFUL!!!

wvgal_dana said...

I'm going to give the Brita water system a try. So I won't have so many plastic water bottles. I drink a lot of water.

normabyrd said...

MEGAN & DANA----Probably will be in southern part of WV!!!---Down SHARON'S way!!!----KIDDIN'---I doubt if it happens here!!!

ntzphyr said...

Hopefully no. 3 has survived its fall :(
Edit: ahh, all is well!!! :)

wvgal_dana said...

Sorry Sharon were sending that stuff that is a 4 letter word your way. I'm not going to say it but it comes down from the sky it is now rain.

floralgirl said...

OK, adult has moved, I see all 3 chicks now clearly. breathe Sharon.. that really freaks you out when you think one is missing...

normabyrd said...

KENT CAM #1---even though it is still a little dark---One can see an EAGLE in the tree!!!

Suzanne said...

Oh cool, Megan!!! I have 2 babies. I was so surprised to see them, I just put the wreath back and haven't been near it again. Don't know if there is another egg or not, but not gonna look, either. I saw mine Sat, and they had their eyes closed still, so they must have just hatched.

Costume Lady said...

JUST A REMINDER TO BEWARE OF UNCERTAIN BLOGGERS. IT JUST COST ME $90.00 TO LEARN THAT LESSON!

normabyrd said...

Snow predicted in Greenbrier Valley & Potomac Highlands after midnight!!!----Just keep saying --BAD SNOW!---BAD SNOW! & maybe it will stay in the Greenbrier Valley!! ho!---It's 52° here--so I doubt it will happen!

floralgirl said...

Do you have a antivirus program installed on your computer now, Wanda?

normabyrd said...

I think the "AWESOME 3" just likes to shake us up every now & then to make sure we are still watching!!
ho!---'Little Imps'!!!

MITS said...

Wanda, as long as an uncertain blogger does not ask you to open something, they are just a blogger, like us.

Costume Lady said...

Yes I do, Megan. I have learned so much from this experience...it was worth the fee they charged me. I do not OPEN ANYTHING THAT LOOKS SUSPICIOUS.

Suzanne said...

Wanda, sorry to hear that! That was an expensive lesson!!

Suzanne said...

Eaglet visible, NBG!

Suzanne said...

Dad just arrived in Scotland, and mom is just steady talking!

Costume Lady said...

I guess I have gotten a bad attitude towards anyone who seems to be hiding something. My thoughts are: why not share who you are and where you are from if you want to be part of this Blog.
Forgive me if this offends anyone, but I have been BURNED, and am not happy with what can be done to us by someone who has no scruples.

Costume Lady said...

So, if someone new comes on here and we check to see where they are from (even if they are not legitimate), it won't harm anything?

floralgirl said...

Don't click on the links that are posted by people you don't know.

MITS said...

well, we have had some new bloggers in the last week....I love Chrissy, but I don't open anything she sends anymore, thru the eaglet momsters e-mail, because about a month ago I opened one of her attachments and it took me 3 days to get computer running smoothly again...sorry Chrissy....you never know about e-mail attachments...do you have a spam filter, Wanda?

MITS said...

still 1 egg at BWO

Mauley said...

Good morning dear ones, now that I have calmed down after not seeing Tiny in that huddle. It's a good thing my office is close to the RN who teaches Medical Assisting here. She has a paper sack handy (eft over from the Spunkster)for the "panic attacks" I experienced. Little bit of fluffy sure scared me this am. Be still my heart. . . . . And can you believe that our Norma said the "s" word. Oh Dear, I need the paper sack again. You dear ones are trying to kill Mauley today. Have a blessed one. Now I must mind my manners. Hi Norma, Megan, little sis Sharon, Suzanne, Wanda, John, Helen, Harbinger, Dana, NTZ, where is Jo? I am praying for all who have appointments today, and Now that I think I am going to live, I will get back to semester testing. thanks for heads up about uncertain bloggers. God Bless Lib and Belle today. Thanking God for the new bobble head in Norfolk. BBML donna

MITS said...

I think Deb should be back today....wonder if she took some pics from her trip??

Suzanne said...

Wanda, it sure doesn't hurt to check! That is always a good idea, anyway. This is a very public blog, and people view this from all over the world! Check out Steve's counters on the blog page, Visitor locations and Mapstats. Very interesting info. I keep saying, the world is watching! And they are... That's why I try to be careful what I say, some things for your guys, but not for the world to read, you know?

wvgal_dana said...

Using ntzas an example...no offense ntz.....but I think Wanda is asking..."If she clicked on that name and they we not a legimate blogger." Could she get a virus???

Suzanne said...

Donna, good morning, and Happy Belated Birthday! I wasn't on yesterday, so I sang Happy Birthday to you this morning. Hope you had a wonderful day.

MITS said...

if you click on ntz's name it is the same as mine...profile not available....I took mine off a while back specifically because of what Suzanne said...all the watchers.

Suzanne said...

No, Dana, not from clicking on a name.

floralgirl said...

You can look at their info by clicking on their name, but don't click on the links they post. You can almost always pick out a spammer, they are new, and they post a link that says something like -check this out-link

Suzanne said...

Belle is really tenting, bless her heart! Must be really raining hard there.

Mauley said...

Thanks Suzanne, It was wonderful. I got a card from Jim that sang my name. How cool is that? Thanks for info on bloggers. I think I will do as Helen did. donna

floralgirl said...

Yes, the rain is coming down hard here right now.

Costume Lady said...

Thank you ladies, I think I understand now. Megan, your remark made that clearer to me. Just don't check out anything that is asked of you by a stranger...Please forgive me if I offended any of our wonderful bloggers.

Eagle-Eyed Sharon said...

WANDA - IT'S ALL GOOD!! :)

Costume Lady said...

I had another potential "idiot" trying to get me to check out something by "clicking here" Yesterdsy. I deleted it (was on my Wanda's Wishes)....Anti Virus picked it up, even after I deleted it and told me they took care of it. ALL THIS STUFF SCARES ME.

Costume Lady said...

Thanks, Sharon!

ceil said...

Good morning everyone. Sure did get a scare when I only saw 2. Have a great day I am off to do some errands. It is a rainy day in Baltimore but we still need it I hear.

Morning, Ceil. Try to stay dry, it's raining like mad here too! Ugh!
Look at the NBG eagles. He wants to take his turn, and mom ain't moving!

MITS said...

Now, see you could very well have problems with your profile, Wanda and people can comment on your site also...so you need to be careful...jmho:)

ceil said...

Saw the little one at NBG. So cute. Glad dad is there. Beautiful Belle protecting her babies.

MITS said...

there is only one thing lacking with the NBG cam, and that is sound, otherwise it is clear and in color and just beautiful

Suzanne said...

Ceil, too funny. Mom's not giving up her spot, so Dad's doing nestorations! Glad you're watching them. These eagles are hilarious some times!

melvsmom said...

I just wanted to say good morning to you all and let you know that I am from Florida and it's not raining or s*****g or anything here. Occasionally I miss the seasons, but mostly not. When I do, we take a trip. Montana is our favorite. Only place we've ever been twice.

Lolly said...

Good morning everyone!!! Can not believe the number on here this morning! Too many to list!!

It is a glorious day here! Sorry for you that have rain and s___. (I don't cuss.) lol It was in the low 50's when I got up...wonderful. Have a full day ahead getting the house ready to paint!

Have a GREAT DAY everyone!!!!

paula eagleholic said...

Morning, all.

Poor drenched eaglets!

paula eagleholic said...

Wanda - maybe you should turn on word verification on your blog, or change it so you have to approve each comment...that would get rid of the spammers.

MITS said...

we really need the rain, Lolly, so I have no problems with it, makes everything so green and clean:)

Suzanne said...

Morning, all. Melvsmom, love your Meerkat pic, they are adorable. Can't wait for Meerkat Manor to return!

Suzanne said...

Zooming in on the 3 Scotland eggs!

Suzanne said...

Here comes dad. He's so gentle! Extra sticks and moss have got to go.

Lolly said...

Oh, I love the rain as well. It certainly helps my flowers to grow! However, on days like today, I can get out and sing praises. It is just so beautiful out and soon, way too soon, it will be so terribly hot.

paula eagleholic said...

Speaking of eggs hatching, I have 4 new baby robins!

I'll have to put the picture on the blog for ya...

Suzanne said...

That darn bug on our cam is just not going away. Hope spidey gets hungry today and eats it, it's right in the center of the cam. Darn spider!

melvsmom said...

Good morning, Suzanne. MM starts back on June 6th in the US. I can't wait either. This season is supposed to be far more upbeat than last.

paula eagleholic said...

Everytime I have to mow or trim the grass, she gets up off the nest and yells at me, so I have had my camera handy...

glo said...

Good morning all. Gosh you surely know how to get that heart a beating fast. All I had to do was read about 2 posts on new thread and my heart is pounding.

I miss our live feed. I too am definitely spoiled.

I always click on a new name to read about them. Biggest hint for spammer is they just got their BLOG that day...it says On Blogger since.... on each profile page... And they have not said anything that gives you a hint they know and enjoy any of us or our eagle cam...they just say something like Go here and .. But it is not just a blue line its a live link.

You can tell a live link from a blue line if you hover over it and look at the bottom of you window info on the url will pop up.
