Megan, I had RP 11 and was able to get Live Feed on three or four different occasions, but someone commented last night that those of us with RP 11 were having more difficulty than most, so I uninstalled 11 and installed 10.5....with no luck.

Well shoot- ok, I think I have real player 10- again, I still think the main problem is at their end. I wonder if anyone else can bring up the live feed this am? Have to wait for some of the others to comment.

Good Morning all, I am having trouble getting RealPlayer to work. Any RP experts out here? I have recently re-installed RP and now I get various error messages about the server and RP tries to find other ways to connect but it never gets any video playing. I have tried it with my firewall on and off, same effect.
Believe it or not, both BWE eaglets are showing some activity this morning. They're all over the nest. Shoulda been doing that for weeks, now. Must have eaten fairly well this weekend... more energy.

Hello all again:) I would not change my real player to 11- I have 10 and it works great when the live feed is working. I have the live feed up and running right now, started it about 5:45 this morning. I have no explanation for the reason no one else can open it, but I would love to hear one. It makes no sense to me. I will send Steve an email for everyone
No Suzanne, he flies into Andrews at 4, then off to the Vatican Embassy. He will be riding the Popemobile from the airport, the embassy is on Massachusetts Ave., about 5 miles from here....but we are lucky enough to have tickets to go to the Mass at National stadium on Thursday:)

watching the female feed the young
and saw two little heads come up
and take food but when i saw a
third little head pop up on the
other side of the nest i couldn't
beleve what i was seeing and the
female gave it some food also.I
tried to get a photo of all three
but i couldn't,But i will soon.
I was watching them through my
scope and thats how i could see
all of them.I would not have been
able to see them without it.I am
one proud eagle dad and i hope
that they will raise all three and
i know that it is hard to do.

Good morning, KRS, thanks for reminding me about firewalls.
My puter has the normal Windows Firewall and then I have a McAfee Security version of firewall. According to experts at McAfee, more than one firewalls will conflict with each other. So, I found Windows firewall (either by "search" or in "Control Panel") and I disabled that the first day I got the computer.
If you people have more than one, turn one of them off.

Good Mornign all..KRS It isn't you or your RP layer. WE are almost all have problems. Just keep trying or read on here if soemone has recently posted live feed is up. Then try yours. With luck yours will be up too. But not always. Not very good an explanation UT its not you or your RP player. Its the feed coming out of Wheeling I guess that isn't going in all directions at the same time. Enjoy the still and welcome to the BLOG.

Norma - I'm on the side of the ospreys. The male brought in the fish for the female osprey. After all the ruckus the eagle ended up with the fish. It all happened so fast that I'm not sure if there was one eagle or two involved. Of course if the eagle was stealing fish for the youngsters I may cut him some slack.
Mits - I think the BW osprey will comply. I saw them mate at least four times in less than an hour on Sunday.
my RP only lasted about 10 mins.

Second eaglet broke through the fluff! All you can see of the third is its' head!

Hope you are all as well as can be at the moment.
SCOTISH CAM is up and running now
"Isla", is sitting, but good news TWO EGGS NOW, second laid 13th April at 2 mins to midnight,, waiting for the third now,Hopefully.
This very old married couple are getting on each others nerves I think,, "ANGUS", doesn't show much during the day, Isla doesn't like that,she likes to feed often, he brought her a fish last night and she told him off, nag, nag, nag, she went,,,He dropped the fish and pecked her three times on her head and then flew off,, Isla had supper,,Angus came back and did his sitting for four or five hours.
Over here we would call them " DERBY and JOAN" its how we refer to old folks,, I don't know what you call it in the States ????
Can't get the Eaglecam,, not had it for days now, and I miss the little monkeys,,I bet they are masive by now.
Weather here just awful,, heavy rain and intermitant hail storms all day.

April 15, 2008 - Update
Feeding time for the remaining chick. The younger chick was motionless in the nest on Monday morning, and removed from the nest cup by the adults later in the day.
Beautiful kent shot if you have it up.
It was frozen for a while, both eagles in OR in the snow.
Wow did you have kent open? That was fun to watch.

Oh that was cool - Lib arrived from the back right w/ a huge fish, followed immediately by Belle. Lib made a quick exit, the kids woke up and smelled the fish and lunch is served.!

Goodness, I got back from my luncheon meeting and I have had live feed up now for 28 min and 50 sec... amazing. That's the longest it has been up in many days. Thank you - whoever is responsible!
