Didn't mean to ask a question and leave, but got busy all of a sudden. The 30-sec cam is updating, just taking a while and not much movement at the moment. The BW kids are snuggling to keep warm and dry.

Feeding time again- tiny is making his move to the front....go tiny-
ok, all three are being fed, tiny has tucked himself right into the front spot, fairly calm feeding, not s lot of fighting. Now that I've seen all 3 getting food, gotta got outside-later
watching the feeding. One is down but I do see tiny is eating. Is that a stuffed Pecky Pearl or had Middle mellowed out again?

Yep it is a little hard to remember it all Sharon. The 3 musketeers did peck each other a lot. The one usually did the same thing putting its head down. Yet there was times the one getting pecked decided it would peck back.
SHARON---I think they did!!---I thought 'SPUNKY' took lots of pecks!!---Didn't he start moving away from the 'PECKING KIDS'---or maybe that's how I remember him---Off away from the others!!
MORNIN' LOVELY DANA!!---As I remember he did no wrong--ho!---I pray he is soaring high now!!---Some times I forget the other's names!---But will always carry SPUNKY in my heart!!!

I'm watching PH and can't wait hatch little chick hatch
I want to share this with you. I just walked over to my window, opened it up. Was listening to the birds singing and thought "That is God's music box". It just felt so spiritual to be in tune with that even if only for a minute.
Mornin! I am also watching Tesoro. Eagle can not get up nerve to leave the branch she flew to.

Yesterday evening we were sitting out and our local Mississippi Kite flew fairly low over us. It was awesome!
Hi All. Back from my meeting and caught up on blogs. See the Tesoro kids fledged, and see one on the tree, and looks like a parent in the nest eating. Maybe trying to entice eaglets to fly back in the nest. Did I read right, PH is hatching??? I see one sitting in the nest, but doesn't look very excited. Can't tell if it's K10 or not. Keeps looking in egg cup and tail keeps going in the air, but don't see any babies yet.

Wow, one of the Tesoro kids just made it back to the nest. That was totally awesome to see!!! Now parent and eaglet in nest, other eaglet still on snag. Oh, parent just took off. Left the food for the eaglet that made it back. Ok, now adult on a snag between eaglets. Trying to coax them both back to the nest. Let them know it can be done.
Last exchange at PH you could see the chick coming out of the shell...
OH how cool, Paula! Unfortunately this parent looks way too comfy to be getting up any time soon.

TODAY IS SPECIAL---My youngest grandson--SAM--is 1 year old today!!---I was there last year when he was born----He is such a happy child!!!
Good Morning, everyone. I missed the hatch at PH by about 15 minutes. It is cloudy and 27 today with about another inch of snow overnight. Supposed to have spring weather by the weekend!
Kestral is off her 2 eggs, and a goose is standing tall in the osprey nest. PA falcon back on her 5 eggs. Hilton Head ospreys have been in and out. Maybe they can lay another egg or two. Still no word yet what happened to the 3 eggs that they were incubating.

Both parents and the one eaglet that returned to the nest have been flying. Sure hope they coax the other one in the tree to return to the nest. Those skies are sure getting very very dark! Think they're all trying to get him to come back before the rain hits.

LOL, yes, Norma, every Tuesday at 9. At least while this AF Chief is still here. She likes meetings. But have to say, this one today was rather productive, so that's a good thing. I'll give the kids pats for ya. You asked the other day about Gypsy getting shaved. She hasn't again, she hasn't needed it. After her last humiliation, she is rather diligent about bathing herself now, so no more mats! She has a couple small ones under her chin, on her throat where she can't reach, but I kinda pet her and snip them at the same time. So no more shaving for her. Let's hope it stays that way!

When I took my dog in for teeth cleaning this morning, I stopped by the river to see if the osprey were back and they are. I saw at least 5. I was really surprised to see 3 eagles and 5 pelicans. I need to see what kind of pelicans they were, white with black tipped wings and a bump on their beaks.
Wow! Pearl is really out of the nest. Guess she likes sleeping right by lunch!

I just said she because think Lisa said 63 % of first born eagles are females. I think our little Pearl is DEFINATELY female! She's a regular mini-Belle! It's gonna be done HER way, or you're gonna get pecked. Sure hope the other 2 don't want to start rearranging sticks later, mini-Belle will have a fit!
Hopefully tomorrow the 30-sec cam will be back up. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to watch it and blog.

Whenever I go there I feel like I lived there in a former life. I see that we continue to get new bloggers. Saw one yesterday, but can't remember the name - welcome anyway! PAULA and GLO - I love your videos. You help those of us who have very limited time on here to see the highlights of the web cams. Well, gotta get back to work. Will drop in later.

MITS - I was a hippie back in my younger days. There was a "belief" amongst some hippies back then that hippies were the re-incarnated souls of the thousands of Indians who were massacred in the establishment of this country and they all decided to come back at the same time. I have wondered if that is why I have that feeling when I go to the SW. Weird - huh!

hubbys plane just left on route to San Francisco, we talked about my going on this trip, but I'm not yet ready for cross country flying yet....maybe next time:)

It seems like they actually grew on his/her head overnight. I saw some peeking out of his back yesterday, but I didn't notice the ones on his head. I think it's cute they get white heads before being covered by brown for several years.
