OK, Norma....that is 3 WV gals that are not getting the Live Feed. This problem supposedly is originating in Wheeling, WV and it is WV Mosmsters that are having the problem. Is there a connection?
I haven't seen our nest since last Saturday...over a week!
No connection, I don't think, cause Geula couldn't open it up this am either. It's really strange, I still can't open FWS sites, only the live feed.
Both adults just arrived- Belle is mantling-there goes Lib- must be a bird or mammal-plucking feathers or fur- hard to tell by the way she is sitting.
WANDA----NAAY!!---It's not a WV thing---We have been having trouble off & on for a while---STEVE & JOHN are always working on it---the min. it is down!!---I saw the 3 EAGLETS yesterday!!---Seem to grow over night!! They just fascinate me!!! -- keep praying!!
There's really no rhyme or reason to this- works for some one day, then not the next. I just don't see how it is working here, but not for you guys. Chicks are getting breakfast now, not sure what-Belle is perched with her back towards cam, blocking view. bb
You know what Megan....I would feel much better if someone would tell us why the situation "is what it is". We have been told that the problem is originating from here and there, but not what they are doing to make it right.
I all goes back to the fact that this is a government based site and they have major security roadblocks to get through so the public can view the site.
I realize it not just a WV problem, but it seems to affect WV more often than other places. Maybe it just seems that way to me to me, but I have been trying to get some sort of a pattern to try to figure out the problem. I am really reaching for anything that may help.
I haven't been this frustrated since trying to Potty Train Karla!

Gotta go outside myself, the sun is shing, but it is chilly! Wish I could hand off my live feed to one of you- the chicks are still eating, all 3 lined up in front of Belle who has ner back to the cam. Gotta go try to find some room in the gh- 600 lisianthus plugs due any day now..yikes.

I love to read essays. It gives you insight into the minds of the writer. I had my grandchildren to write their thoughts when they were in the early grades of school; I gave them different thoughts to write about. Such as, what their favorite thing to do or their least favorite and why, etc. VERY interesting reading.

Just worked with the tech in Wheeling, restarted his server and the server at NCTC. Try the live feed, and I will try to watch the system from our end.

There is concern over one of the chicks at BC from the people on the Maine Forum. They are covered up right now, but no movement has been seen today from one of the two chicks.

well I have BC up, but it only lasts for 5 mins, and I usually can't get it back up after that time runs out, eagle is laying over chicks
OK well my live feed is now down. It hasn't stayed up any length of time though in well over a week either. Thanks for trying. For some reason we can't all watch it all the time and when it does come on it doesn't seem to stay on any length of time at least fo rme. Strange though it does seem to come on in the evening hours after dark.

mine is still on, but you are correct, Glo, it does seem to work well in the evening hours when they are asleep;)
Mine is still up, but we know that it is usually a chain reaction, will have to see if it lasts.
I was hoping that they were wrong on the Maine forum, but I did see one feeding and am reluctantly agreeing with them at this time.
It's going to take a while to process all the shots I took on Friday and Sunday but here's a teaser:

The two osprey were on the cam nest just before it happened. The female had a fish that I think the male brought in. The pictures show them looking around, must have been watching an eagle scoping out the situation. They both took off towards the field behind the nest. That's when I first saw the eagle headed to the trees with the osprey in hot pursuit. I lost track of the female osprey but when the male finished chasing one eagle off he immediately went after the second which was flying low to the ground with a fish that appeared to be the same size as the one the female osprey originally had. There were some acrobatics in that battle as well with the eagle eventually headed back to the woods.
The live feed plays for awhile then STOPS :(

Still no live feed in Hedgesville!
Lib just arrived at the back of the nest. Belle at 6, he brought some sort of food, I think. There is something white at his feet, but Belle grabs a fish from the front and tries to go around the kids to get to the back but can't, so she starts in on it at the 6 position. Dad leaves off the left side.
What are you getting or not getting on your real player, hedgesviller? Have you been able to access the live feed at all?
I believe it is up for most of us.
