after freezing up numerous times, my RP screen is black with sound #$#@%^&! Donna not to worry, they all got fed nicely today.

I've been getting sound, but the pic is black now. Then I noticed it says it's transmitting 9 Kbs instead of 45 Kbs.

Do they play adult sounds for the chicks to relate to while they're in the incubators?
Also, did Dr. Sharpe say what caused the other TH egg to fail?

BW CAMS are down again

I do have my live feed and my eaglecam 30sec refresh cam running.
Adult eagle is at 4:00 position & tearing into the old fish or whatever that was down at 6:00. Eaglets are facing the adult & it looks as though they might be getting some food. Parent is blocking the view of the eaglets - I can see 2 little beaks..
I don't have any sound
The sad part is that I have an appointment this eveing & I can't run a commentary for you all.

Good evening everybody. Had to go for my iron infusion today. They put Benadryl in my IV so I slept a good while this afternoon. Then I went out to Beverly's and taught her the art of finding more cams to watch. She is so hooked and she used to talk about me bad! :)

They were making a cake for Mount St Mary's-the tower-not sure if it was new or not, I gave up cause I couldn't stay awake, I meant to record it but forgot to. I love that show too.

LOL...They always make me nervous when they load the cake in a vehicle to get it delivered, then start racing down the streets.
I know, never know how those cakes make it in one piece...they did a police cruiser on one show, complete with flashing lights and sirens...loved it

Have they gotten darker in color today, or do they just look darker because it is night? This is the first night viewing I've seen. They are up late!
it is because of the infra-red light, Angie, makes them look much darker than they are.

THANKS DEB, some of you may remember it as the Finland osprey nest, they have not returned yet, but the Golden Eagles have been there for the last couple of days mating and doing nestorations....so MTBR..... and if you double click it you can get a real close-up shot of them....look for the ferries crossing in the background too.

Good morning, world. Colder out this morning than it has been all week! 33° in PA, 39° in VA. Thought this was supposed to be spring!
Belle is sleeping next to the chicks, they're out in front of her, but the BW eagles are sleeping alone. I don't see parent in nest, which they usually sleep there till the chicks get too big, then they have to sleep on branches. Hope nothing has happened to them and the chicks are alone now.
Gonna go open some cams. All have a great eagle/panda day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
I see Deb put out the 2nd osprey nest in Finland that we watched last year. The Golden were there yesterday by this time, but don't think pic is updating today. Their cam 2 (Kohde 2) is updating, cause the birds that are there are in the entrance and blocking the light. Cam 1 pic has only changed once since I logged on about 4:15, 11:15 their time. Did have a Cormorant on the nest, he left, then nothing moving. So just DARN!!! BTW, this is not Finney's site, that cam isn't up yet.
Belle laying next to kids now, and BW chicks still alone. Maine nest MT, couldn't get NBG at all, just black screen, so closed it. The owletts in CO are alone and boy are they growing. Pretty much dark elsewhere.
Good grief, blogger cop is awake and active! Totally logged me off, so will have to log back on. Maybe this will even post after that.

Well, Finland cam 2 is back. Think one of the birds was probably in the entrance and blocked the light. This nest has Naakka, Jackdaws in it. Cam 1, the osprey nest is stil MT, and can't tell any difference in the shadows from an hour ago.
Belle and babies still sleeping, BW kids still sleeping and alone.
Time for me to get on other computer. I'll be in and out all day. Blog everything so I know what I missed.
All is quiet at the nest, chicks still curled up together, parent still perched by edge of nest.

tiny is stuck in the back of nest cup-trying to vault over the others to get some food. Here comes tiny....he is persistent-made it to front..
Parent is blocking siome of the view, #1 must've been pecking, cause middler went to back of nest and laid flat.
Parent moving to 12 oclock, feeding time over-lot of wrestling in the cup now to get closest to parent.
And now here comes the fluff...
What a challenge these eagles have for trying to cover those babies. Just putting fluff around them!

Got in a little earlier today; still no one here. Was up until 2am helping my hubby paint the living, kitchen dining area before our new floors went in. So needless to say, today is going to be one groggy day for me.

I went home from school last night to find the floor man there with his third grader from Nags Head School. He and I had a great time watching all the different nest sites. Also told him about Pete's Pond in Africa. He just had a grand time.
No our floors aren't in yet, so like I said, we painted. Wanted to get the walls done before the floor went in.
Good morning again Megan. I see we now have a parent huggling close to the chicks for warmth, I imagine. They are coming along nicely.
I read where the Tesoro Chicks fledged. Hope you all have sound and live video today. I did when I got home last night.
I have NBG up with parent sitting in nest. All seems calm there.
See where the BWO nest has some challengers for the space. Every night after school I turn it off and there is alot of stuff in the nest. When I come in in the am, it seems to somewhat dissapeared. The bird world needs to get along better!:)

Hi all. Both parents in BWE, and dad brought in a nice fish for once, but I'm waiting to see if he'll share it with the babies.
Darn, mom left on that note, and HE's eating! Chicks aren't even looking at him, what's with that??? I take that back, he left, mom moved over to the fish, and she's feeding at least one of them. Ok, back to the grind.
