Lynne 2 I too am worried about someone firing a gun within earshot from where you live...would be very intimidating.I am glad you live with STEVE SWEETIE. He sounds like a real GEM. SAFE TRAVELS TOMORROW.
We got entranced w/Dr. G. They seem to be showing more than one segment. Gotta get my gear together. Some of us will be doing butterfly count in AM at Park. Will be a long day. Now I will really have to research paw paws.I thought most of the trees I've seen at Chealsea office were way back by covered bridge. Today I finally noticed there are short large leafed trees right next to our entrance road near the office!!!! Some have fruit. Maybe we can get some ripe ones before the critters!!
Way to funny! Talk with Lynne on the blog and then talk with her on fb. She says good night here and then pops up there. I do love technology! And, in the mean time my phone is in the kitchen chiming every time I get a fb notice.
We hear gunshots often. Sound like firecrackers to me. Awhile back heard some louder than normal one night & in AM Fubby found small shells at curb. If you ever call police, whoever is doing it would be gone. The thrills of living near DC!!
We hear gun shots, but we are out and there are no regulations. I think there is a lot of target shooting. Jack only has a shot gun. I am hoping he uses it soon to armadillo hunt. The armadillo does about 10 or so holes every night. I go around every morning and replant grass. Now he is starting to dig up the caladiums. That means war!
Oh and you are so lucky to not hear gun shots as war. I still jump from the expereinces with gun shots from the 1952 revolution and the 1956 war in Egypt...I expect I will always have it with me. It means drastic and catastrophic change and possible damage to body is what gun shots remind me of...
Margy said she was doing her own dishes, brushing her own teeth, going to her own bed. So I guess that means she is turning off her "own" computer. lol
Yesterday morning Shannon woke up and stumbled down the hall...only to kick something on the floor. Got his glasses and turned on the light: a dead kitten. Harley (Weimeraner) had brought it in through the doggie door. UGH! Their neighborhood is overrun with feral cats that authorities can't/won't do anything about. THis is the second one that Harley has killed and brought in as gifts to mommy and daddy.
Even the shelters won't collect or accept ferals, Jo. Too many....and their budgets just can't handle it. Someone needs to be footing the bill to try the oral contraceptives that can be put out in food since so many people persist in feeding them---Christie and Shannon's next door neighbor being one of them.
Blogger asked if I wanted to stay on this page. I clicked YES & weas sent to previous one!!!! Was saying you can probably ask folks in Paw Paw what they taste like. I got tons of pictures, but they're small yet.
Time to say Pleasant Feather Dreams and Prayers for healing ;>)
Evening Pals! I think I've not posted in at least 2 days or more. Been busy with work and stuff.......
More dental problems today and lots of pain.
Just wanted to let you know we checked the bunnies yesterday and they're still alive, so Mom must be taking care of them. I try to stay away so as not to disturb the way things should be.
We saw 2 bunnies in the garden this evening and then a couple young bunnies hopping in the front yard, too. They were too big to be from the nest, but we sure do have lots of bunnies.
Will try to catch up on the news from all of you tomorrow by reading up on the blag.
Hope all of you are doing well.
Keeping you in my prayers each and every day and looking forward to joining in on conversations soon!!
Happy Belated Birthday JudyE!!
I'm headed to bed, now that I have cleaned up my inbox!!
Where, oh where is pretty little Loretta? Where, oh where is pretty little Loretta? Where, oh where is pretty little Loretta? Way down yonder in the paw-paw patch.
Come on, Momsters, let's go find her, Come on, Momsters, let's go find her, Come on, Momsters, let's go find her, Way down yonder in the paw-paw patch.
Pickin' up paw-paws, puttin' 'em in her pockets, Pickin' up paw-paws, puttin' 'em in her pockets, Pickin' up paw-paws, puttin' 'em in her pockets, Way down yonder in the paw-paw patch.
Got the living daylights scared out of me one day when I heard a very loud gunshot. Looked out my window and there was a man in hunting gear with a dog. He was on the very edge of my backyard. If he wasn't in the yard, he was a foot out of it.
I called the sheriff, but they refused to do anything. I do live in a subdivision. Some time after that, Rus and a couple of friends went out quite a bit further into a field in the same general area for some target shooting. When someone called the sheriff, they came right out. Guess it depends on who you talk to.
Everyone else who said goodnight has come back, so now it is my turn.
Laurel and family are now in S. Carolina. They are headed to Gastonia, NC. They will be there until Sunday (I think) then drive to Pedricktown, NJ. Joey is visiting relatives. Can not believe they are up in your area! Well...close to it anyway!
I did it again, sat down at 8 to watch three half hour political punditry shows on PBS. Made it through about 15 minutes of the first one before falling asleep. So here I am, wide eyed and bushy tailed. (That's not a pretty picture !) I'm not promising to be up with the Early Birds since I'm stayin' up with you Night Owls tonight !
LOLLY, good the hear the kids have made it to NC safely ! Yep, you, LYNNE, JO all have Sweeties. No wonder you keep renewing their options year after year.
MARGY and SHIRLEY, I love reading the James and Hunter Chronicles ! Reminds me of Seth and how helpful he's been since I moved here. He's never acted put out when asked to do something and most of the time spots a need and just takes care of it. We are lucky G'mothers !
JUDY, great rescues today. Kudoes to your son and ex for loving nature and being proactive in their approach !
LYNN, good trail cam pics ! Enjoyed the "feel good story" ! I've heard a "tree grows in Brooklyn", but had no idea there is a lake of that size there.
LYNNE and LOLLY, it's disturbing to think there are no gun laws out in the country. I don't know about the laws here and live withing city limits. However, in AZ there is a no firing within so many feet of dwellings law, no matter if it is city or country. Stan thought I should learn how to shoot a gun, but I was a poor student. One time in Bullhead City we went way out in the hills far from civilization--not a dwelling in sight. Target practice began and soon here came a fella on horseback up and over a rise. Apparently his house was in a hollow we couldn't see. He didn't ask us to leave once he saw what was up, but just said he had to check out the sound of shots.
It is great that you checked in Paula. Glad you made a safe trip.
To all who have gone to bed sweet dreams and God Bless.
LOLLY safe travels to Laurel and her family.Amazing distances covered.
I probably won't be able to check in with the blog before late afternoon my time around 7:00 PM Eastern time. I have a full day tomorrow. Paddling in the morning. Then I go to the Farmers Market where I volunteered to work with the Grans table selling baked goods, preserves...etc. Then I go to yoga and that finishes around four, so I will walk to get the car and then drive home.
I wish you all a GREAT day tomorrow and will see you when I come back, unless I wake up really early and check in then...
HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JUDIE!!! HOPE YOUR DAY IS THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!!
Judie, hoping that your Monarch will be back to visit on your Birthday! We have a Mourning Cloak that's been here for several days. It tries to play tag with the House Finches!
JudyE, great job with the two rescues today! Kudos!
Lynn, to answer your question, the Hooded Orioles have been thrilled with the hummer nectar. They also like oranges cut in half, and grape jelly. Have seen one of the females eating suet that contains fruit. They don't seem to be attracted to the seed feeders. They are very skittish!
Hoda, thanks for the moonbow video! Had never heard of a moonbow. Absolutely beautiful!
Well, had better try to get some sleep. Will be another busy day tomorrow! Prayers have been said for everyone, and every creature. Saying prayers for those who are traveling, too. The porch light is on, and both security systems are enabled. Sleep tight, and I will talk to you tomorrow, God willing. God bless, and goodnight! Love all of you! :o]
LYNN2 I had to re read your comment about the dead adult I must have missed the word hog and thought OMG a dead person I need to slow down and read better but I had so many to get through I did speed read but like I said I had to re read Talking about books to movies I love Cujo the book was a good one the book I just couldn't put down read in a couple of days Love the movie also
Yes, but I had one of my "episodes" when I woke up. I was hoping that I wouldn't. I just feel like we are not getting to the root of whatever is causing this strange numbing, tingling...I feel like I can't describe well enough what is happening and I am starting to get really upset with myself and the doctor. I feel like I can't do anything because it will bring on an episode.
Good Morning, DANAM☼ ! It's good the new med gave you better sleep. Hope you get to the root cause of this soon, very soon. Hate to think of this plagueing you all through your CA trip !
JUDYE, sorry I missed you, but HAGD !
ANDY, hooded orioles alway love hummer food ! They are so pretty and only seen in the Southwest, I believe. Had them in Tucson, but the searing death valley like heat in Bullhead City did not attract them. Enjoy watching them !
I am seriously thinking a good chiropractor could help, and I know of a good one here in Martinsburg....very gentle, very intelligent...knows his stuff! Let me know, I can send you his name sounds like something is pinching on something
Just saw an interesting piece on the news about the ongoing restoration of the Pyramids....very sad, Hoda. Revolution has dried up tourism....without the funds from it, restoration is stalled....and deterioration continues. :(
Thinking of Loretta today on the Butterfly Count, hope she sees lots and lots of "flying flowers."
Jo, Wanda, Paula: anyone else? Hope you got your Birds & Blooms for this month...the 100th issue...lots of beauty in there
Hoda: I see only one Osprey chick remains at Kootenay...site says, maybe Great Horned Owl, or Eagle took the chick...or maybe it fell out of the nest and was taken by a predator from the ground... thorough ground search ...chick not located... similar thing occurred at Terrapin Cove, NJ - GHO took one of the two chicks...
Well, I ate yesterday's cupcake for JUDYE, so I made a big cake for YOU today! I didn't even taste test it, but FloBear took a big chunk out of the backside. I hope you don't mind!
MAY THIS BE YOUR BEST AND GRANDEST BIRTHDAY EVER. PUT YOU FEET UP AND CELEBRATE!
LYNN, Good morning! I've got my long-Lynn-list going. Much to do to get ready to leave for PA. I've been collecting little crafty projects and other things to do while sitting/waiting around at the hospital nest week.
HODA, Moonbows is a new one for me. How cool. Thank you for sharing and keep us in-the-know!
JUDYE, I'm so sorry I missed you this morning. Hope your birthday yesterday was spectacular! Did your family have a big wing-ding?
HAGD all. Time to get moving, though I would much rather be here. More soaker hoses to hook up and packing to get done. Takes me FOREVER to pack and make up my mind about this or that.
All my eagle, animal loving friends. I have talked about being in CA for a week and having a dog/house sitter here. I am looking for input on how much to pay this young man. How much per day do you think is reasonable to stay in my home (enjoy my pool) and watch my 3 lovely, mischievous, lovable, flying labs? :))
OMGosh I can't believe we have visitors this late in the morning!!!! It's so still that it looks like the camera is frozen but I see the leaves moving. Who is it? I can't see the head.
I see I have a chorus of birthday wishes and a cake that has been tested and approved by FloBear. Thank you so much for the well-wishes. Safe travels, Lori. Hugs for your Mom, you, and Dad.
Loretta, have a wonderful counting butterflies and please let us know if you get to taste a paw paw.
Paula, enjoy!
Linda, so happy the bunnies are still doing okay.
Lynn, had I been Shannon I would have totally freaked.
DanaMo, I have returned to make a suggestion. If you have not had these tests, please consider asking for a CT scan of the heart and an ulstra sound test of both carotid arteries. Your symptoms are similar to those I had when my left carotid was 90%. I experienced 3 mini-strokes. Tingling and numbness are symptoms. I really am not trying to alarm you but would rather be intrusive than regret not speaking up.
Kathryn and Hunter are headed out for their Saturday adventures. I think they have a book sale, a football thing, and a baseball thing. They will be gone awhile.
Thanks Judie, I feel that my practitioner is being very passive. I'm not sure how hard to push. I am having an MRI when I return from vacation and I guess we will see what happens from there. Thanks for the suggestions.
DanaMo, MRI is good but CT is more definitive with details. Push as hard as necessary to get the tests that will give you answers. If necessary, ask for a referral to a vascular specialist, a cardiologist, or both. Okay, I'll back off now.
Someone on FB just said $30 plus gas if he is driving, he's staying here though. I have a nice house with a pool and alls I want him to do it sit here and play with my dogs and watch tv. Really, I think he is getting a pretty good deal. Three video game systems, the pool, a full refrigerator, etc...
Good morning. I am almost ready to head out to a busy day and decided it felt so strnge to rush off without saying good morning. I read the blog as I was having my morning tea and you are right LYNN...the Spring Uprising as they call it has lots of detrimental effects including the Pyramid resotrations. The value of the Egyptian pound is devalued and inflation is high because of the instability. I expect over the next few months it will get worst...September/November elections talk and total disorganization of the various factions all claiming their side is right. Thr trial for the ex president and his sons is also going to stir emotions...
MARGy I am sorrry to hear there is only one chick left in the Osprey nest in Creston. I missed that so I do not know when it happened. Thanks for letting me know. I keep thinking I should take a drive out there to the sanctuary...
LORI I am glad you enjoyed the Moonbows...What a BEAUTIFUL NATIONAL PARK YOSMITE is...a real GEM and very well maintained with excellent educational programs.
MARGY, I loved seeing my girls again and Jayden was like the icing on the cake. He is so adorable. His hair hair is now a BEACH BABY BLONDE and curls. I have a few photos which I posted on JUST FOR FUN...didn't get anything outstanding...just enjoyed him so much, forgot to take pictures!
Good Morning! Beautiful day outside but I have nowhere to go so I can enjoy the day from my deck.
DanaMO - I had neck pain but no numbness or tingling - CT showed arthritis and so chiropractor would not have been good. Had to take 1 Aleve 3 times daily and I use a neck pillow a lot. Your numbness and tingling should be taken very seriously by your physician or like you said - get a new one and what Judie advised is what you need to do.
DanaMo - I don't still take Aleve - it was for like 3 weeks that I did.
Wanda I am very happy for you. All those pics on FB of Jayden just took my heart away - Really need to meet him one day
Enjoy your special day Judie - Happy you enjoyed your card. <:) Ceil sent me this article Chessie the mantaray is visiting the bay area - Chessie, the wandering Florida manatee that has visited the Chesapeake Bay at least twice over the past 17 years, is back. The well-traveled mammal has not been seen since 2001. There has been a positive ID due to a scar he has.
Hoda - the Moonbows are beautiful - I never thought about the moon light acting the same as the sun light. Had to send video to gd and hubby - they love waterfalls and rainbows!
DANG DANG DANG! That's Herman Munster jumping in his big ol' boots and having a fit! Or was it darn darn darn? Anyhow, can't believe I left and Truder shows up not even 2 min. later! LYNN, I'll give you my phone # next time I do that.
My apologies for sloppier than usual typing today. Much going on but I'm taking a quick break to catch up.
JUDIE - BIRTHDAY GIRL! Again, Happiest Birthday to you. AND, for Heaven's sake, don't apologize and think you're being intrusive when you are thinking about helping. Your intentions with your carotid artery story are more than honorable! Were you saying it was 90% clogged? That's amazing. Never would have thought of that. I'm glad they found it and you're here for another birthday!!! Pass the cake, please. :)
DANA MO, I'm so sorry you're going through all this medical stuff. I bet you're completely frustrated. Remember, knowledge is power and your research will pay off...as will prayers.
The house/DOG SITTER: I usually think of it as a "total" more than X amount per day. I've had cats on insulin, dogs with diapers and more going on for a sitter at the house, and for that we paid 40 - 50 a day...but there was much more to do. Hope that helps and you begin feeling better.
Ummm ummmmm. I must say that cake is delicious, JUDIE! Enjoy your special day.
DANA MO - I'm actually very proud of you. Most people don't take such symptoms seriously. I'm so happy you are. ♥
HODA - Yosemite! There's not a prettier place on earth. It's so grand and majestic. I had dinner at the park's Awanee (sp) Lodge once and it was spectacular.
Good morning! I got on earlier, wished Judie a HB, and then disappeared without a howdy do! Just as I posted that, Jack headed outside to water. I was right behind him. Pardon my manners!
Going to hang out this afternoon, make another rolled flank steak, and then we are heading to Dallas. Will spend the night and come on home tomorrow morning.(I think!)
JUDYE, I missed "seeing" you this morning and we both missed seeing Truder. He had a lot of nerve, waiting til' 8:02 to show up. Actually happy some of the later Early Birders got a chance to see him do his boomerang thing today.
LORI, I don't like looking at the dessert table and finding that your cake is being devoured by the birthday girl, guests and even FloBear while mine goes untouched ! I guess they all tired of JUDYE's cake and were happy to see another flavor on the table !☺ Will have to whomp another one up for the next birthday and that will be verrrry sooon !
WANDA, good pics. Love those curls !
LYNN, hope the Animal Advocate event is a huge success ! Admire you so much for your work with them !
MARIA is having a birthday, too ? I missed that one, but Happy Birthday and do have a piece of cake !!!
LORI, saying ditto to JO's message of 12:58 p. m. ! We're with you in spirit and will look forward to any word you can send us through the week !
DANAMO, also saying ditto to all the concerns about your painful ailment. Agree with the consensus that you must be proactive regarding seeing specialists and insisting on a full range of tests ! Have no idea about the going pet sitting rate, can't help there. Someone said, "no company allowed", but I would caution that should mean no swimming. No one, no matter how healthy, should swim when no one else is around ! Sometimes the Mama Kay in me just cannot be contained ! LOL
I was up early enough to be with the early group but went back to bed. Had to re-do eye and put the patch back over it.
When I did get up I said "no breakfast" since it is NOON yikes. You need to spray where the fence is so it will have days before the rains come. I have a white vinyl fencing around the yard. If you weed eat it all shows up on the fence. Yucky looking then it needs to be power washed. So patch and dark glass with spray I went. I kept saying "please God let there be enough spray to finish the job". There was enough an just a little bit left for the patch that grows at my walk. ( :
Linda sorry for your dental problems and the pain. Prayers for the pain and hope the dental problems get taken care of soon.
HodaThank you Hoda for those beautiful moon bows they were just AWESOME ( :
Oh KAY, I must admit, I lied. I bought my cake at the corner bakery. Your cake was so good I knew I couldn't come close. FloBear told me so; hence, when he licked off the back half of JUDIE's cake, alas, I knew it was a cake good enough for our dear JUDIE!
You, my dear, will have another fresh virtual bouquet the moment I find a spare minute to cut and arrange them. I'm thinking that'll be next week.
JO, thank you for your prayers and kindness. My mother is just delighted to hear that all my eagle friends are praying for her. And your hugs, I'll take all the hugs I can get, too! Yes, I am a hugger. :)
LOLLY, may you and Jack have a safe trip into the City ! What a special birthday treat for Jack---one on one time with his son and a loving wife and grandson to enjoy as well ! Have fun !
Wow, SHIRLEY, judging by the time of your posts, you have been out doing yard work for a long time. Your place must be looking pretty spiffy now !
Will BBL, time to get a few things done around my own place ! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Hi, Gang, Jumping back on here to wish Judie a HAPPY BIRTHDAY again! Happy Birthay, Maria, too! Hope it's a fantastic day for you!
We're on the go again today. Need to go water patio plants quickly so they don't croak. Think Hubby wants to go see "Transformers" today. I am not really enthusiastic about that, but whatcha gonna do? Will report back later.
DanaMo, by all means, follow Judie's advice and find a doctor who'll get to the bottom of this. Can't be too careful!
No Kay I have the patch off and put my refresh drops in. If looks real good now and feels much better. Even when I look out the window I don't get any pain in the eye. I think it was allergies from pulling those weeds. Thanks for your concern Kay.
DanaMo please take Judie's advice. Prayers are going with you.
Lori I know you are not here. Prayers have continue for your Mother and good doctor and nursing care. Safety for your travelings. Keep in touch and let us know. ♥♥
I can't tell because of how the cam is at Creston Osprey Cam. That chick is hungry!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been watching and have not seen a feeding??????? FED THAT CHICK!!!
Wanda (when you return) do you ever check your Yahoo - that is the E_M address to which is sent the b-day addresses and dates. Let me know - I can resend it to your comcast address
I am back. One rolled flank steak, two chimichurri sauces, and three pesto batches in the freezer. Wahooo!
I am so excited. Laurel and Joey planned this trip to see his 2 aunts and his brother. They did not think of anyone else. Well, yesterday while Laurel was reporting in on fb it became clear that Gastonia is only 15 minutes from her best childhood pal. Bip and Laurel played with Barbi's, dolls, walkie talkies, etc. Best buds in early childhood. She moved away while in hs to Arkansas. Bip was in her wedding and we went to hers, but now she is in S.Carolina. It has been a few years since they have been together, but Laurel just sent me a picture of Bip's youngest (she has two boys) and they are together at Joey's aunts. I am so excited I could cry!! Bip lost her mother while in hs. I think of Bip as my other daughter.
We are heading to Dallas in about 1 1/2 hours. Going out to eat, though I offered to take a rolled flank steak. Told Jack I will bake for him tomorrow or Monday. He always wants an lemon pie or a cherry cheesecake pie for his birthday.
Lori, when are you heading to your mothers? Continued prayers and hugs coming your way!!
Talked with my sister, Sharon, this morning. They are continuing to monitor Dan. The report is the x-rays are getting better and apparently the blockage is going away. ???? He still has the tube and now has laryngitis. He is not a happy camper. Sharon has gone home the last two nights. Yea! I guess they are really trying to avoid surgery, but will this happen again?
Hello. I'm home! Long day----I'm hot and tired! But it went well! We were not the hosts of this event---just invited participants. All we had to do was show up, set up our display and talk to people! Saw some folks I haven't seen in years, which was nice!
DanaMo---sent you an email with some info about sitters! And, yes, Judie is right about what you should demand!!!! You aren't old, but you are reaching the age where the possibilities of something serious could be in the offing......and if anything worsens at any moment---get yourself to an ER!
I, too, thought Truder looked different this morning with his black markings....was it Margy who said something about the color going down the back of his neck? Yep--I saw that...and top of his head did not have that x-look to it. Maybe it's a totally different bird. Just what we need---more confusion!
Lolly, yes. Unfortunately it CAN happen again. But good that it was not a complete blockage. You mentioned the ice chips yesterday---when the NG tube is in, ANYTHING that goes in comes right back out, and that's the purpose! Ice chips are given just to ease mouth and throat dryness.
Oh, Lolly, that's great that Laurel was able to hook up with Bip! Cute name!!!! Girlfriend, your freezer is just getting TOO full of flank steaks....I think you need some company!!!
Bip's name is Tiffany. Bip or Bipper is what we have called her since she was very little. Only very few of us call her that. I think it important as her mother is gone, but I know a lot of her childhood.
Laurel is 5'11", Bip might be 5'. Mutt and Jeff, for sure! Bip was one year younger than Laurel. She is a delightful young lady, intelligent and comes up with most amusing comments. Love her to pieces.
HODA I have to agree with the blog your moon bows are breath taking Its is amazing the beauty this is on this earth just for the looking and how many people never ever see it Thanks I went there when I was little with my parents but don't remember any of it Its such a shame that I don't remember most of it I guess as kids we didn't appreciate things like that
Wow did we get rain at work today I wish we had a rain gauge there I bet at least 5" and at my house just 1 1/2 miles for the store only an inch or so Just now when I came home it is storming thundering big time and my stupid idiot neighbor is letting her kids swim and she is out there Oh how I wanted to say something so bad Keep your mouth shut I say to myself
Official announcement....."my" Bill and his business partner Roger are closing their carpet business effective July 31 due to declining health of Roger. Notice was published in paper today.
JudyE Beautiful butterflies....some are like the ones I have pictures of when we went to the Butterfly House in Colorado. Still need to post pictures either on a blog or facebook.
Lolly glad Dan is doing better and Sharon is getting some rest.

What a surprise. I'll send up the alert!
Thanks Steve, and welcome back!
Hey, Lynne! Thought you were heading to bed!
Thanks Steve!
THANKS STEVE. I hope you have a GREAT weekend.

well, I am REALLY heading to bed now. Love you guys!
thanks Hoda! He sure is! And yes, it's a bit unnerving to hear gunshots so close. But it's not a regular thing except during hunting season.
checking new thread wow a late nite one
blogger copy got me have to check the box now
Judy...we told you good night, too. Folks just can not stay away!
uh oh...here comes Steve Sweetie and I'm still here.............BYE!
Arlington National Cemetery and The Young
This brought tears to my eyes. War is indeed costly.
Thanks Steve for the new thread.
Thanks for the call over.
Lynne2 I don't like that guy that lives near you. I would be suspicious of him in more ways than one.
Oh and you are so lucky to not hear gun shots as war. I still jump from the expereinces with gun shots from the 1952 revolution and the 1956 war in Egypt...I expect I will always have it with me. It means drastic and catastrophic change and possible damage to body is what gun shots remind me of...
Welcome home Steve - I'm sure you had a
great experience.
:( I can't see the moon My sky is
hazy. I'll keep checking.
Margy said she was doing her own dishes, brushing her own teeth, going to her own bed. So I guess that means she is turning off her "own" computer. lol
Lynne, have a great weekend. Don't work too hard. Take some warm clothes---it may be chilly up there!
Final birthday goodnight to our poet, JudyE!
I prefer to read the book first....and then I always pick apart the movie!!! Many are disappointing.
Feel good story
Handsome Ed is Jo's!!!
Hoda, saw that piece on the news tonight....tears shed.....so sad.
Loretta, let us know what a paw paw tastes like! I've never even seen one!
Lolly, won't you worry yourself sick about Jack and Michael riding those rapids??
No moonie here, either, Jo. Just clouds and darkness.
That's sad about the kittens - Someone
should be capturing the ferals and
spading them.
Who needs Handsome Ed? I missed that
comment.
I think Margy said something about Handsome Ed when you said that he had taken his walk while you were waiting for your apptmt., Jo!
No, I will not worry. I worry more about Laurel and family on the road!! That is scary!
My how the days get past me....
Love and Prayers for all ♥♥♥
Oh My A brilliant ice cold looking MOON up in the sky! AWESOME...
Thunder Moon !!!
Check it out.......
I said long ago I was going to download a book. Think I will say good night.
Sweet dreams all! Wishing a great weekend to Paula and Nick, Lynne and Steve...well...to everyone!
(((Hugs)))
Where, oh where is pretty little Loretta?
Where, oh where is pretty little Loretta?
Where, oh where is pretty little Loretta?
Way down yonder in the paw-paw patch.
Come on, Momsters, let's go find her,
Come on, Momsters, let's go find her,
Come on, Momsters, let's go find her,
Way down yonder in the paw-paw patch.
Pickin' up paw-paws, puttin' 'em in her pockets,
Pickin' up paw-paws, puttin' 'em in her pockets,
Pickin' up paw-paws, puttin' 'em in her pockets,
Way down yonder in the paw-paw patch.
Moon out here now! Pretty. And saw trail cam flash, so something is out there!
I remember that song, Shirley!
That big seed block I had in my backyard is completely gone.
MOONBOWS
Magnificent and Majestic.
Had to check it out when Loretta mentioned paw paws.
Topper Shutt (Meteorologist on news) just called it the Full Buck Moon!
Well, gang, I have an early morning and a full day ahead. Calling it a wrap here. Sleep tight. Prayers for all. Peace.
Hoda, beautiful video of the moonbows! Thanks. Nice way to end the day!
Moonbows--Really nice video. Thanks, Hoda.
Used to live near Gastonia--in Stanley, Lolly. It's not too far from Huntersville, where the CRC is.
Patterson book--copyrighted in 2010, Lynn. Looks like he has one out in 2011--Now You See Her
Time to call it quits. Heading upstairs.
See you tomorrow. Good night, all.
Moonbows, another "who knew", beautiful !
Whew, a new thread...
At the beach safe and sound...moon is gorgeous...really lights up the sky...windows open, great sleeping weather
PAULA, happy to hear you and Nick are in Paradise, safe and sound. Have a great weekend ! Hope your guests enjoy the zuchinni bread !

I even baked another cake for you, identical to JUDYE's since it was so tasty.

That'll be all from me for tonight. Hope you all get deep and restful sleep ! Prayers for all in need !

I feel like I can't do anything because it will bring on an episode.
oh...have a good day at work!
Good Morning, DANAM☼ ! It's good the new med gave you better sleep. Hope you get to the root cause of this soon, very soon. Hate to think of this plagueing you all through your CA trip !

Good Morning EAGLE buds!
Hi KAY!
Been up for a while, glad I didn't miss anything, but sorry JUDYE got up for a no show.
Good morning, early birds.
Just saw an interesting piece on the news about the ongoing restoration of the Pyramids....very sad, Hoda. Revolution has dried up tourism....without the funds from it, restoration is stalled....and deterioration continues. :(
Good Morning, More Eagle Pals, Lynn and Lori !

OMGosh I can't believe we have visitors this late in the morning!!!! It's so still that it looks like the camera is frozen but I see the leaves moving. Who is it? I can't see the head.

Shirley, have a quiet day. Maybe some recliner time?
Recliner time, then yard work for me as long as the weather stays reasonable.

Good afternoon friends and lurkers.

Jo, just showed your message to Jack.
Sounds like everyone is having a busy day.
Nice pics, Wanda!! Whatcha' two doin' on your date today???
Lolly, yes. Unfortunately it CAN happen again. But good that it was not a complete blockage. You mentioned the ice chips yesterday---when the NG tube is in, ANYTHING that goes in comes right back out, and that's the purpose! Ice chips are given just to ease mouth and throat dryness.
Just thought the ice chips would have melted faster. Interesting!
Were pictures posted of Truder this morning?
Oh, Lolly, that's great that Laurel was able to hook up with Bip! Cute name!!!!
Girlfriend, your freezer is just getting TOO full of flank steaks....I think you need some company!!!
Yes, I do! Come on down, Lynn!!!
Bip's name is Tiffany. Bip or Bipper is what we have called her since she was very little. Only very few of us call her that. I think it important as her mother is gone, but I know a lot of her childhood.
Just looked at this morning picture. That is one scruffy looking eagle!!! Hmmmm??????
I posted two, Lolly....head just peeping out from under the leaves, and then his back when he was on the edge.
Laurel is 5'11", Bip might be 5'. Mutt and Jeff, for sure! Bip was one year younger than Laurel. She is a delightful young lady, intelligent and comes up with most amusing comments. Love her to pieces.
I need to leave. Time to get ready to go.
I will be back sometime tomorrow.
Love and hugs for all!
