For Lynn who asked: we went to Crisfield's on Georgia Ave. Been run by a member of the Crisfield family for 70 years. Same family the city is named for, I believe. Really good food but it is a dive.
I think I read the animal safety meeting went well. Good news, indeed. Also sorry about Bill's store but glad he will have the others to keep him busy.
Lori, safe travels today and our prayers will be with your Mom and you and family tomorrow. She'll be fine.
Happy Birthday to Lolly's Jack. Hope he has fun riding the rapids.

Not a great Liesl morning----CBS Sunday Morning is all about animals...dogs primarily. She is doing LOTS of barking at the TV!!!! I told her "no comments from the peanut gallery" but she won't listen!

I finally broke down and watched this morning's video of the nest visit. I usually see lovely green sycamore leaves. lol
Daisy Rose, Mom's golden, will be boarded with another vet in the area while I am in Alaska. Thanks for the comments. She is getting older and I'm willing to pay for my peace of mind--not to mention Mom's. Mom suggested I just leave Daisy with her in the nursing home!!
I'm getting my bird lists ready and hope to get some new birds on this trip. Of course my main focus will be the grands--BLT

Have a great time! Eyes to the skies when not on the grands! Lots of eagles there...and they aren't protected. Only state where they aren't---because Alaska wasn't a state when they were first put on the endangered list....hmmmmmm: and they have thrived there!!!

I had a wonderful night out last night. Enjoyed seeing Elvis!!! Oh Yea!!!!! This guy is from Pigeon Forge, Tn. Robert Keefer; Elvis Tribute Artist. I had a lot of memories with the music about Ed and me. It was FUN!! I got a white scarf he put around my neck lol
This was a spare of the moment thing. Did not even know he was entertaining here.
I got to get the pictures up on I guess facebook.

your Mother and you and family. May God prepare the doctors and nurses that are to care for your
Mother. Allowing all to go well and Our Lord to be with her in recovery and for God to continue
helping your Mother with healing and any rehab they would have her do. His wonderful arms around her at all times. While HE is so Wonderfully being bedside you and you Father and family while you are waiting. AMEN

Jan. 3, 2002 Ed had a 5 bypass and he did super!! ( :
Nov. 25, 2009 Ed's passing had nothing to do with his heart. That
bypass surgery gave him many, many years. His heart was still is good shape.
