Thank you for a brand spanking new thread, Steve ! I've put out the call.

Madison, WI ! Hope it's a bit cooler up there in Dairyland !

Kay said...

LORI ! 15#'s. Hooray for you---it's not easy, I know !

LYNN, so Liesl is going into Middle School, eh ? Do they cover chewing up furniture legs ?

I do sooooo love this blog. We cover it all, toilets, credit reports, yellow cars, caring for pet allergies---this is better than Google searches for getting at the nitty gritty on any topic imaginable ! ☺

Lolly said...

Thanks, Steve for the new thread! Hope all is well with you and your family!

LOL, Kay, you are so right. Topics covered here are sometimes hilarious!

Lolly said...

Oh, and Kay, thanks for the call over!☺

hedgie said...

Thanks, Kay!!!!
Madison, huh? My Dad did some coursework there back in the 60's!

Jo....guess it depends on what kind of printer you have....some you just have to try running a realignment.

Lynne, I would hope that Tori would then be cured.....not sure of the exact cause of her ILD. When my ex-b/f's grandson had the transplant for CF, I knew that it would not cure him because it is caused by a missing gene that provides the necessary proteins to prevent it.

Lolly said...

We have created a monster here at our house. Annie has been raised on dry food. We just keep her dish full all the time. Well, trying to get her gain weight, (yeah, right), we introduced canned food. Wrong thing! She, of course, loves it. She is demanding it several times a day. She usually wakes us about 5:30 or 6 asking out. Well, now she wakes us, we get up to let her out, but, no, she wants food....not out! There is still dry food in her dish!!!

Lynne2 said...

thanks for that info Lynn, wasn't sure if what she has was a genetic thing.

Few showers here...was hoping for some more substantial rain but the storms seem to be south of here.

Lynne2 said...

Steve asked last night if there was going to be a Momster Get Together in the fall, or whenever, since Open House has been changed. I think he likes us!!

Hoda said...

GOOD AFTERNOON EVERYONE.

KAY Thanks for the update from Arizona and the dust storm. Lots of work yet I am very glad there are no health issues.

STEVE THANKS FOR THE NEW THREAD.

PAULA Thanks for letting Steve know about the camera. I see he is in WI. I wonder if he could get someone else to fix the camera???

My American Niece is supposed to be induced today as she is two weeks over due. The baby will then arrive on Susan, my American Sister and her aunt's birthday. She is in England and I have not heard yet.

Lynne2 said...

oh Hoda, how exciting!! Prayers that all goes without any problems!

UGH. Cleaning, laundry....YUK! But the results are well worth the efforts!

paula eagleholic said...

Good luck to your niece, Hoda. Surprised they let her go 2 weeks over her due date. It seems most Dr's only allow one week nowadays.

Lynne2 said...

Megan must be very, very busy right about now, so let me step in with the Moon Names for the July Full Moon

The Full Buck Moon – July July is normally the month when the new antlers of buck deer push out of their foreheads in coatings of velvety fur. It was also often called the Full Thunder Moon, for the reason that thunderstorms are most frequent during this time. Another name for this month’s Moon was the Full Hay Moon.

hedgie said...

Right, Paula. They let me go two weeks with Carolyn and I had a placenta previa and we both almost died. They had to really hustle a c-sec to get her out alive.

Hoda, praying that all goes well!!!

Lynne...we still haven't decided about fall. The distance travelers should save their time and money for the OH....IMO. Those closer can plan a get-together, but I have doubts that we will be allowed on campus, judging by recent "rulings."

hedgie said...

Lolly, mix the dry with the canned and keep decreasing the amount of canned! You DID create a monster!

hedgie said...

I like the Full Buck Moon, Lynne! Even tho' I haven't seen any yet with the beginnings of their racks!

Time to log off. Need to leave a little early and feed the truck---ugh! See you all later this evening.

JudyEddy said...

Thanks for the new THREAD Steve your gonna spoil us LOL

Lynne2 said...

I haven't either Lynn, but I did see my first spotty of the season today!

I agree, those coming a long way should save for Open House. But hopefully those of us closer can do SOMETHING in the fall!

paula eagleholic said...

I like the Thunder Moon!!

DanaMo said...

I'm local and would love to get together! I would love the opportunity to put faces and names together of my new eagle friends.

Lynne2 said...

The Buck will find some Hay after the Thunder

DanaMo said...

I was two weeks late and had a 9 pound 12 oz baby!

Hoda said...

Well for Abby, my niece, they induced her but nothing is happening...."Little Peanut" is really comfortable in there. Heart rate and all is well for both of them. They decided in England that if s/he does not make an appearance by tomorrow they will have to do a C section. All is well.

JudyEddy said...

wvgal_dana said...

lol Hoda "little peanut". My nephews son's girlfriend is pregrant and they are calling the bably "little peanut".

This "little peanut" is a miracle baby. The doctor said little chance he could get his wife pregrant when he was married. Ooopps not married got girlfriend and BINGO---great and happy surprise!!!

JudyE did you already have a Florida license?

JudyEddy said...

??ALLERGY?? How old is LUNA and why all of a sudden he has allergies?? Is that normal?? just was wondering

NICE TED DANSON is going to be on CSI and boy does he look GOOD
Back to the news just wanted to tell you was just on the new

JudyEddy said...

Yes but they came up with new friggin laws you need your SSN and marriage lic and div dec and passport if you don't have a driv lic STUPID

wvgal_dana said...

JudyE if you have your Florida license and time has come to renew. Why don't they just renew them and not need all that stuff. Or did I misunderstand something???

Loved the cat and dog video lol

The owl was cute too.

Thanks for posting them

JudyEddy said...

there was a new law passed that you have to prove who you are for the first time after the law passed which was a couple of years ago and when you renew you have to prove who your are all over again even thought I have had this licence for 40years and didn't need it before but with that new law in affect you need all the info STUPID not for sure exactly if it is to stop illegals or something to do with 911 don't remember exactly why I just might google to refresh my memory I know it has almost doubled in price also anything to do with taxes and licences

JudyEddy said...

that was easy here is a link I case you want to check it out
Stinky new LAW STUPID law Jan 2010 new law was passed

Lynne2 said...

JudyE, sorry about what a PIA it is to get your license! But that OWL VIDEO was adorable...thanks for posting it!

JudyEddy said...

Here is another good one I have a email friend that sends these her name is Sharon I have never meet her in person Meet her by accident sending a email to the wrong Sharon I love this one Makes you want to dance Foreign talent show..but done in english

Kay said...

JUDY, the owl video is so special. He had to have scoped the scene out for a while and even had the timing for the sprinklers figured out to the minute ! It reminded me of how our parrot, Rico, loved his mistings. He'd spread his wings and turn so he got thoroughly wet everywhere. Then he'd do a shake off and spend a long time preening.

LYNN, my son, Lee, spent time in Madison, too, getting his Master Degree. His undergrad degree and Phd., both from Northwestern. I was sorry not to be able to visit when he was in WI. I'd love to have seen that city and campus.

LOLLY, maybe Annie can complete her adjustment back to dry food while you and Jack are at the B____h and she's at her usual home away from home ???

HODA, saying a little prayer for your niece and her baby. How exciting for the family !

Hoda said...

I have so much empathy with your drivers license issue JUDY E. We do not have that law here yet but, we are NOT ALLOWED TO SMILE for any government related pictures. The prices have gone up here for passports and licenses and I have the hardest time not smiling. They became very impatient with me...LOL so in Canada they do not like us to smile, go figure!!! LOL

wvgal_dana said...

JudyE thanks for posting another cute video. I had seen that one funny !

I am sending my daughter that Florid Drivers License link. At some point incase she decides to come to Florida again to live.

paula eagleholic said...

Whoa! It's nice out! The humidity is gone!!

wvgal_dana said...

That owl probably goes there each day since the sprinklers goes off to have its bath lol

Lynne2 said...

oh good Paula, if your humidity is gone now, it should be sweeping outa here shortly too! Nice couple of days coming up!

Lynne2 said...

I'm patiently waiting for that cold front breeze to pick up and move it on out!

Lynne2 said...

LOL Lolly! I'm having the same problem with Brother Cat. I've been giving them all canned food a couple of times a week, but it seems that it's making his digestive system revolt. So he's back on dry food only, although I do mix some warm water in it to make a bit of gravy. But he is NOT happy.

JudyEddy said...

LYNN any luck on the cam with the deer eating the corn

MARGY AND LYNN What is the new ruling with the visitation at the nest that was mentioned earlier DO TELL!!

LOLLY love your momster story

HODA so sad you can't smile Everyone I know smiles for their picture

JudyEddy said...

Yep got caught up reading so now LM and wait to see if we get a visit might be hard to see them if they land under the leaf BBL

Mema Jo said...

Dinner is over and our guests of Alexis and her dad have departed. Very good roast beef dinner from the crock pot.
Melted in your mouth......

She was telling us about her Bible School adventures. She talked about
Jonah and the whale but had incorrectly
said John instead of Jonah. I gave her the correct name and she agreed but then her Pap said he thought it was Pinochle who was swallowed by the whale. No help whatsoever- lol

Mema Jo said...

Hoda - thinking of you awaiting word
concerning the new baby and hope you feel our arms around you... ((hugs))

Lolly said...

Ahhh, finally below 100. Only 99.5! Saw 104 on the car themometer. Helllllllllp! I'm melting!!!!!

LOL I have some candles that melted last summer on the patio. Thought they looked pretty neat. They are melting some more. Too funny! Gotta laugh at something!

Jack went to the dentist. She ground the filling down some more and had him bite on a q-tip. All was well. He went to the grocery store for me, bought some salami, guy gave him some to taste. He about died on the spot when he bit down. So, back to the dentist in the morning. Yuk! Wonder the difference between the Qtip and the salami?

Hoda said...

Thank You JO I will let you all know the minute I become great aunt...My niece in Egypt had a baby boy earlier the year, he is healthy and well. I wish the same for Abby's "Little Peanut". Hope, her Mom promised to phone Carol the minute she found out. She is in England with Abby and I asked Carol to phone me regardless of the hour. I have a candle lit for the both of them and I say prayers...I am so grateful for the love and the support from the AWESOME MOMSTERS.

LOLLY Good news the temperatures are going down. I hope Laurel is doing well on her outing. Let us know what you hear about it when they return. Any news from Sharon about Dan?

We were a comfortable 64 degrees today with rain and the sun is trying to come out this afternoon.
It will go down to 54 tonight and cooler temperatures for the next few days here too.

Lolly said...

No news from Sharon and Dan. Will call Sharon in a couple of hours.

Laurel posted on facebook that she has learned this week(at Six Flags) that eyelids sweat. LOL

She posted a picture of some happy boys. Bless her! She is home tomorrow, but packing. They are leaving Friday morning for a quick trip to N. Carolina and New Jersey. Visiting relatives and taking some of Fayes belongings to relatives.

Hi, Y'all...
Took GG to Pain Management clinic today. Doctor is increasing her pain meds by 1 extra (HOORAY) and has scheduled an injection next week. After speaking with doc, I feel so very hopeful:) Doc, introduced herself to us as "MARY" and gave GG a hug before we left!

Costume Lady said...

JUDYE,loved the owl taking a shower,LMBO! I also love ABBA:)

wvgal_dana said...

Wanda who is the pain management doctor that GG went to please?

wvgal_dana said...

Paula You have mail

Lolly said...

Loved the owl video. LOL when I saw it was dedicated to Hedwig. Cool!

Hoda said...

I miss the live feed. I want to know if there was sound would we be hearing the clinking with the camera shake about now...It is a good practiceof patience to be looking out for them day in and day out...

JudyEddy said...

HODA your weather sounds great
Who is Hedwig? LOLLY
and I agree with HODA not hearing that nightly clunk we are so use to hearing

Kay said...

HODA, that weather sounds heavenly to me ! Lucky girl !

WANDA, so happy to hear GG is getting more help with pain mangement ! My primary physician is a beautiful 40ish woman, who is so much more caring than anyone I've gone to in all my 74 years. Saw her today and she gave me a hug upon leaving the room. If I could, I'd go to women only, but they've not gained a foothold in many of the specialities. There is a brighter day ahead for our kids, grandkids and beyond, however ! ♫♪We are women hear us roar !♪♪♫

Mema Jo said...

Went out to gaze up at that awesome moon

JudyEddy said...

Looks like its going to be another night of disappointment for us Its never a good sign when the colors start to fade Darn it

Hoda said...

JUDY E, In Harry Potter books/movies, the main character Harry Potter has an owl, it is a magical owl and its name is Hedwig. Beautiful white bird.

Hoda said...

Colour is changing at the still cam...so I know it is working.

Kay said...

LOLLY, Laurel and family have to go through Virginia and Maryland as they travel from NC to NJ. You ought to give them some Momster names and numbers in case they need anything while out East. They could just drop right down out of NJ into PA and right on into Columbus on their way back home. I'd welcome them warmly, too ! I think we all feel like we know them ! Oh, you didn't say they are driving did you ? I made an assumption, then noticed you said "quick trip", so maybe flying, huh ? Just too nosy for my own good, but who was Faye ?

JudyEddy said...

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Well I'm calling it a day

See ya in the am

God Bless this Nest
and all whom watch it at

"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone is fighting some kind of battle."

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥I can't believe one more night and they stood us up We need to have a serious talk with these birds LOL I won't be up early

Gonna go watch something that I dvrd

Hoda said...

When it gets dark here JO I too will go out and gaze at the moon...it is clearing here...sometimes I do not have to go out and I can see it from the living room window when it crests the mountain close to the flat...

wvgal_dana said...

Going to couch to get feeties up and watch some good tv.

Kay said...

I guess we all knew Belle and Truder would spend less and less time actually on the nest, until time for HP and serious nestorations. Guess that time has arrived, but let's keep showing up for a look see anyway !!!!

Lolly said...

Kay, you are too sweet. They are driving and I will pass on your information. Faye, is Joey's mother and she died after a very short illness last December. Driving was the cheapest way for them to go. Joey has his own insurance agency and it is a struggle financially to get it going. I really wish they were not going. They can not affort it and he should not take another week away from work. Oh, well, I am just the mother/mother in law.

Hoda said...

KAY it is sooooo sweet to think of Lolly's Laurel as she is travelling back east...what a sweet invitation.I presumed they were driving, but Lolly did say quick trip so flying makes sense.

hedgie said...

Home and settled.
Dana, all Momster requests to Steve for on-site visits have been refused this year.

JudyE....WHY marraihe license and divorce decree? ABSURD! Call your state congressman and COMPLAIN!
JudyE....anyone can become allergic to anything at anytime. Like we used to always tell people at work: EVERYTHING starts sometime!

hedgie said...

My. dr. called Carolyn Punkin' which got amended to Punkie---it stuck! My sister STILL calls her that!

Hoda said...

KAY you are right we knew that it is time for them to be scarce at the nest...we'll continue to show up to check on the nest just in case and it is only a few months and autumn will be here and we will see them more regularly...

One of the White Rock, BC, eaglets fledged already and the second one is about to so the season is progressing...how fortunate it is that there are webcams and we can have such a close look.

Kay said...

LOLLY, thanks ! Sorry Joey lost his mom--had to be a shock since the illness was brief. We never quit worrying about our younguns' no matter how old they or we are ! ☺ We'll just have to pray for safe travel and figure the getaway is what they really need at this time.

hedgie said...

Ted Danson on CSI in the fall? Replacing Fishburne, I guess. Wonder if that means he ISN'T on Damages anymore? Season premiere of it at 10 tonight.....but changed from FX to a channel called AUD which is ONLY on DirecTV.

Made a mess tonight. Was putting leftovers in fridge and dropped a dip-cup of marinara sauce---all over inside bottom of fridge, AND on carpet. ARGH! Liesl did a right good job on the carpet----will get out the little green machine tomorrow!!!!

Kay said...

Oh, LYNN, doncha' just hate when that happens ? How was the first evening of Intermediate School ? Same instructor ? If so, I'm sure she had a grand reunion with dear Liesl.

Hoda said...

I just went to the White Rock site and they have BOTH fledged...so awesome to see the nest empty of the larger eaglet, she is gone and I had been waiting on her. Her brother is perched on a branch looking very important on watch keeping guard.

hedgie said...

Cute videos, JudyE.

So do you want a different name on your new license?? Sounds like that's the only reason for requiring those two documents.

JudyEddy said...

LYNN Ted will still be on it in they said Heard email chime and had to see who said what back to tv

Hoda said...

I look at the wide angled camera at White Rock and the adult just brought supper and the other adult is circling by and the eaglet that fledged out is on a far branch and I was wrong that is the brother and the larger of the eaglets is the one on the branch next to the nest. She is eating heartily. It is the first time I have seen the four of them for over a month. I am not sure if the female eaglet fledged or not, with size comparison she is the one eating in the nest.

JudyEddy said...

No don't want a different name just have to prove who I am They seem to rule what we do the law was passed in 2010 a stupid law I put the link to it on the blog earlier Bell now I got to really go I am turning off the puter see ya

Hoda said...

She is certainly putting a dent in this big fish Ma brought in for supper. He flies from the distant branch circles and makes a smooth landing on the nest waiting his turn for a bite. At the rate she is going I am not sure anything is going to be left for him.

Hoda said...

I am going to go watch Peter O'Toole in Lawrence of Arabia...BBL

Lynne2 said...

well, the house looks wonderful! I've sweat BUCKETS today. I truly cannot handle the heat too well any more.

It's pretty interesting how Belle and Truder hung around so frequently at the nest, as they would have had it been Lib and Belle, and Paddy O'Joy through fledge and then some return visits.

Lynne2 said...

Enjoy the movie Hoda! I've never seen it....

Lynne2 said...

so weird that Jack could bite a QTip with no problem, but not the salami. Maybe because the salami was cold and he's cold sensitive in that tooth?

Costume Lady said...

DANA, GG's doctor is Mary Gallagher...in the same building as Cincinnati, Knutsen, etc.

Costume Lady said...

LYNN, is this the doctor that you suggested to me a while back?

Lynne2 said...

the BUCK HAY THUNDER Moon looks beautiful! Still 75 here and still fairly humid. Not even a hint of a breeze. COME ON COLD FRONT!!

Kay said...

LYNNE, HODA is about to watch one of the all time great movies ! You really must see it sometime. It came out in the early 60's so it's not a surprise if some of you young folks haven't see it, but it is a "must see classic" in my opinion.

Lynne2 said...

I've got it on video Kay! A friend lent it to us last winter and we STILL haven't watched it!

Lynne2 said...

Omar Sharif is in it too I think.....OOOOOOO what a crush I had on him after watching Funny Girl as a kid! My Uncle Pete actually met him once, funny story. Uncle Pete was in the bar at the Waldorf in NYC many years ago. He was in NYC on business and things were not going well and he was in a mood. SO, this guy comes and sits next to him and says Hi, how are you. My Uncle barely looked at him, not feeling too social. And when the man finally talked enough for my uncle to have to look, it was OMAR SHARIF!!

Lynne2 said...

well gang, I need to shower and get to bed. Happy Job tomorrow!! Hope everyone has a good night, and prayers for all!

hedgie said...

Kay, when Dad was in Madison, the rest of spent some great summer weeks in Iowa with relatives--in a smnall farm community. Probably the best kid weeks of my life! I was 12, I think.

hedgie said...

Hoda, we aren't allowed to smile here anymore, either!

hedgie said...

Judy, I'll bring in the cam tomorrow and download and see what I have captured!!!!

Lolly said...

Finally finished in the kitchen. Going to a covered dish supper and swim party tomorrow night. So, as usual I try a new recipe. LOL This time it is a Muffaletta Salad. It has to chill now for at least 8 hours, but the bites I snuck are delish. Fixed a quick supper for myself as Jack ate lunch out today and did not want much to eat. He ate some peanut butter and crackers.

magpie said...

I smiled and got away with it Lynn....the lady camera tech told me to think Joyful Thoughts...

Restful sleep for all.

Thanks for setting it!
I still have to get the shovel out in one of the rooms here before inspection Thursday...I am hoping they will be mesmerized by my patio garden plants and my tomatoes and just overlook everything else !

magpie said...

Thanks Paula, for getting the word to Steve and the Outdoor Channel about the live feed
You Rock !

magpie said...

seminar was interesting today, about Dealing with Difficult People.
Thought of all then when reading about Judy's problems getting her license...NOT THAT SHE WAS DIFFICULT....
but we learned that the customer may not always be right, but the customer is always the customer!
And unfortunately, we cannot always do what they want because of laws already in place...
What a Hassle Judy! I hope the clerks and officials you are dealing with are compassionate and taking their time and training to help you get your ducks in a row.

The Moon is a Wowser, to borrow Jo's expression ...
know that it looks nearly full, but we have another 24 hours plus a few until it is complete...

Appreciate your subbing for Megan, Lynne, on the Full Moon Names, but I think we will still hear from Megan before Friday ☺
I kinda like Thunder Moon also!

Kay said...

LYNNE, good Omar Sharif story ! He was one suave guy !

JUDIE, you're going to bed before I get time to pose a legal question.:(
Today my doctor told me I'm taking the maximum dosage of Melexocam for arthritis, but it's no longer holding the aches off. She said to supplement with 2 Fleximin tabs a day. So, I stopped in at CVS on the way home. What with CVS coupons and 10 dollars in coupons attached to the boxes, I got 120 Fleximin tabs and a 20 oz. size bottle of Oil of Olay "ultra moisturizer lotion with shea butter" that "locks moisture in for 24 hours", all for just 16 bucks !!!! Question is: if I find that some moisture has escaped before the 24 hour mark, do I have a winnable lawsuit against Oil of Olay ?

magpie said...

Benadryl
at the picnic Saturday night in Annandale, Va, several of my little grand-nephews got pretty bitten up, the next day I got out my benadryl lotion for one of my nieces, she applied it...and the little ones who were very antsy and agitated, quickly became calm little angels...was nice to see them get that relief

Question - what is everyone's status with stinkbugs?

magpie said...

I went to Berkeley Springs to play instead of do housework tonight...
always a good investment of time
but now I have to hit the showers and then get the shovel out for awhile....

Hooray for the improvements in our conditions here today, and prayers for the relief and comfort still needed...sorry I cannot name all the names right now, but the Night Bandit is lurking with a Mean Look on his face

LOL Wanda, like Loretta does!
Just have to move the Big Piles around so they look decent!

Hi Sharon, haven't seen a stinkbug around here at my place for a looooong time
since they found out I was going to squish or flush them instead of carrying them outside and set them free....which I found is a NO NO !Hello! How is Mattie....???

magpie said...

Oh I forgot: Drool Everyone... Tom Sweetie brought home-made Oatmeal Cookies to me tonight ☺

Costume Lady said...

NONE here, SHARON

Lynne2 said...

Stinkbugs....have had only 2 live ones in the past 6 weeks or so. They are out reproducing and damaging crops, and will no doubt be returning in full force at the end of summer. I was just thinking today while cleaning, how nice not have had them in so long.

Good night...and Kay....ROFLMAOAO!

Lynne2 said...

Kay, maybe, if you decide to start a Class Action Lawsuit against Oil of Olay, GG and I will join you...we both use OOO:)

We have been eating a lot of tomatoes lately. Need to get to the farmers market Saturday and get some home grown ones.

We slice them, top them with crumbled Feta cheese, chopped fresh basil, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. To die for!!!

magpie said...

OH shucks on that gum growth, Sharon, sorry to hear of it...
about makes me want to cuss in public !!
and here I am thinking today is Thursday, sorry...now I remember that Mattie's ultrasound is on the Real Thursday, tomorrow.....

Oh Wanda
just a reminder:

I LOVE YOUR AVATAR !
When will you see the little tyke again???

Lolly said...

Think I am going to go shower. I want to go to be early and get up early to mow tomorrow. Grass down front is not growing (can't when it is brown, ugly and dead) but around the house it is beautiful and growing!☺

Lolly said...

Sharon, if it is not one thing with all of you....it is another! Geesh!! Get well and stay well, would you please!!☺

You certainly do not want to be the cause of Margy cursing!

Lolly said...

Have been meaning to say how excited I am about Hope getting a collar. Whoopeeee! She must be more relaxed around people now.

I am glad the weather has cooled down
I can't move in those high temps!

Judie's sandman stopped by here - Didn't hear him fast enough to go run and hide..... Seems like he knows when
you are under the bed..... I am calling
it a good day/night!
Lots of prayers for everyone's needs
Hugs to all ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Prayer request-- one of my Trainiac friends from Tennesee took an overdose of alcohol And pills and was rushed to the hospital. I don't have any other details.

Costume Lady said...

MARGY, I hope we get to see him this Friday. It has been far too long! We're going to buy him a little swimming pool to splash around in. Stop by and spend some time with us!!

hedgie said...

Sorry I disappeared....phone calls from both girls, and them my show---season premiere of Damages. No Ted Danson, so guess he's made the leap back to network TV.

Lolly, I was thinking that Joey's business must have really picked up! Sorry it hasn't. :( Hard to make that trip a quick one when driving, especially with two energetic boys.

hedgie said...

Wanda, so glad that GG is getting more help. Hope it works.

hedgie said...

Wanda, no, this Dr. is new. I didn't know the name of the previous pain management guy. But think I just mentioned Knutson for orthopedic concerns. BTW---Robyn's nephew Jason had a compound fx. of his arm today in a fall.....Knutson did surgery on him this afternoon. Prayers---Jason is the boy who accompanied Robyn on nest watch back when Lib went missing.

hedgie said...

Class went well, Kay. Yes, same instructor. It was fun. Only one other dog and he was in the former class, too....and he is in love with Liesl!!!

Costume Lady said...

LYNN, I do think I will choose Dr. Knutson, when my time comes...I trust your opinion:)

hedgie said...

Margy, Caro will get a kick out of you calling her Punkie!

Sharon, very few SB's here right now. I've seen 1 baby and 2 sub-adults....have found dead adults in various locations when moving things around in the house and garage. BUT....be prepared......fall is when th eonslaught will begin again as they struggle to get inside for warmth. Wanda's grandson told us that they lay their eggs on the underside of leaves of bushes and trees....

hedgie said...

Oh my,oh my, Margy. I LOVE oatmeal cookies (no nuts, thank you!)!!!! Hope they are delicious for you!

hedgie said...

I'll join in on that suit, too---OOO is what I use, as well Wanda and Kay!

hedgie said...

USA rocks! Women's soccer--beat France today! On to the finals!

hedgie said...

Gee, Lolly, I haven't been to FB yet---when is Hope getting her collar????? I am SO glad!

Lolly said...

Said a while back I was leaving, but alas that was not true.

However, I am now leaving for the night.

♥♥♥♥♥ Sweet dreams! ♥♥♥♥♥

magpie said...

Oh Lynn, I can't believe that about Robyn's nephew Jason....
but thank you for sharing that with us,
so we add Jason, and Sharon's Trainiac friend, to our prayers starting NOW

I think one of my co-workers possibly took that 911 call, Lynn, if Jason is in our county...

hedgie said...

Shar, prayers for your friend. So sad.
Good luck with you gum work---hope it's not anything serious....more prayers!

Goodnight to all turned/turning in. Going to take my bath and will check back. Liesl is one pooped pooch!

Lolly said...

Whoops! I lied! They have not given a bear report about the collar, but there has been a picture with the comment that she is collared!!!

magpie said...

G'night Lolly and Jack... hope that Sleep is Sweet and that you will get a good report from your sister Sharon about Dan in the morning

hedgie said...

Yes, Margy, and Christie thinks she saw him being wheeled to x-ray. She was working CHI today.

Hi, Everyone,
Took me a while to get caught up here!

LOVE the owl video, and the one with the kitten and the pit bull!

Hoda, prayers for Abby and the baby! Please keep us posted! ((HUGS))!!

Sharon, prayers for you for tomorrow, and for your trainiac friend.

Prayers for Jason, Robyn's nephew, too!

Ooooh, Margy! Cookies! YUM! :o]....Know what you mean about the shovel. I use one, too--but only when a bulldozer isn't available for rental! LOL :oD I have been making progress with the laundry today.

Prayers are continuing for so many here on my prayer list!

Well, need to try to watch a little TV and hopefully get a good night's sleep. Turning on the porch light. Enabling both of the security systems. Sleep tight, everyone, and I will talk to you tomorrow, God willing. Praying that our eagles show up tomorrow, even if just for a couple of minutes!
Good night, and God bless! Love all of you!! :o]

What a tubby!
I got a very large nylony pouf for my birthday...well, I guess I got kind of scrub-happy, it came apart in the tubby...I kid you not, there is a good 12 continuous feet of nylon, or WAS, in that pouf!
Don't think I can re-assemble it, BUT, it might make good ties for my tomato plants which are now beginning to resemble Jack's Beanstalks once again ☺
Wanda....Hope you read this!

hedgie said...

No further update on Jason....last post was "surgery at 4:30." Cute pic of him on a gurney. Poor kid.

magpie said...

yes, Lynn, and does Liesl have Stars in her Eyes tonight also
from the cozy encounter with the other pup at school ♥ ?

Good Night to you too, and Hello and Good Night to Andrea !

magpie said...

oh the nest is dreamy looking in the Moon Glow tonight !
Wonder if the Eagles are enjoying it also?

Best stop going on and on...
and the cookies are very delicious...wish I could share them all with you...No Nuts, Lynn

Wanda: That is a possibility, I just might see you Friday ! Glad you and Gene carved out a little special time for yourselves last night

Have you all in my heart and in my prayers....asking God to give comfort and let His presence be felt ....
God Bless This Nest, and
God Bless Us, Every One

Did I understand correctly MARGY is having Gin and Tonic with TOM SWEETIE???? I only left for a short few hours and when did this development happen...MY OH MY but there are some very fast women on this blog!!!!LOL!!!

The movie is good and it reminds me of the history I studied in school in Egypt.

I still have the second half to go so I had better get on with it...

MARGY I hope I am not spreading rumours but it needs and explanation....hummm!!!

magpie said...

nope, all's sober here in Martinsburg, Hoda...
Wanda was just teasing me...
I told her a funny thing about G&T's once upon a time and every once in awhile she reminds me about it in her sweet Wanda-Way ☺

Tom is a stellar neighbor though
very non-obstrusive, that suits me
One of these days I will do a little more cooking and return some of the kind favors

about to check out again...just wandered back here to check my bank account and see if I won Powerball which I didn't...

magpie said...

So on that note,
Gooooood Night, all
xo ♥

oh Pa-Nana: you sometimes hop on late, and in case you do: I hope your ailments are taking a hike as you mentioned you were feeling better...that is good news, and Yay on the Theresa and Max visit coming up ☺

hedgie said...

Check this out! It is SO interesting. Who'd a thunk it?
Polar bears are Irish!

And, check out the pics of the talons:
Talon sizes
Amazing!!!

PA Nana said...

Hi Margy and all. I'm here but very late. I wanted to get to sleep earlier because Max gets up so early, but this old body said "no you don't" we still have some areas of discomfort that need treated. So here I am.....

Is anyone still awake at this late hour? Please make yourself known before I leave.

PA Nana said...

polar bears are Irish. Now isn't that the best news. I'll drink a Guiness to that!

hedgie said...

Well, that's all the news that's fit to print for today from FB!

Lolly, there IS a difference in biting on a Q-tip vs. biting into food. I had a situation like that. Dentist then did a test using a cold gel.....that isolated the tooth for sure....and it turned out that it had an inside crack in it! Hope Jack gets relief quickly.

Over and out from this roost. Prayers for all. See you in the morning. Hoping Liesl and I sleep in a bit again!

PA Nana said...

Goodnight Lynn and Lolly if you're so inclined. Who else is up?

PA Nana said...

Andy, did you check in yet? You and Hoda usually close the blog down, but if you're not here, I will.

Goodnight to all eagle bloggers. Prayers for all needs/wants.

Last one out, please close the door. But don't slam it, others are sleeping.

God bless from PA!

Hoda said...

Well I am still up and just finished my movie and thanks MARGY for the explanation and it is all in good fun...

I'll sign off now and Sweet Dreams and God Bless everyone.

See you tomorrow God Willing.

Lori O. said...

Good Morning wonderful Eagle family!

LYNN - Can't believe you know someone who still drives a Karman Ghia!

MARGY - what's on the menu for blooming wild flowers now?

WV DANA - PAULA is right about the 3 credit reporting agencies. I think it's that you can get a free credit report from one of the agencies, and everyone wants to charge you by offering to give you all 3 reports. I believe Experian is the most different of the three, often considered the toughest or truest credit score, while others throw it out. I'd say PAULA is your expert being as she works with finances every day.

I'm howling at all the talk about that radio station 97.1 . . . I'll have to check it out! LOL! ♥♥♥

JUDIE - I hope you like your DO as much as I like mine. Finally, someone (Becki at Woodie's in Fred.) who cut my hair in a way that I don't have to blow dry or curl it to have a style! She made great use of my natural curls, cut off several inches and layered it -- wooooohoooo! Now this is a haircut I can do myself instead of walking out of the salon and knowing that way it looks at that moment is the last time it will look that way until I get it cut again!

magpie said...

Happy Do-Day (Wednesday) to both Lori and Judie !
Betting you are both are more gorgeous than the day before !

Darn, I DID miss Pa Nana Diann, I was a wee bit too early and also too late...was moving mountains in the spare room

Sure did cool down overnight....Nice!

Hi Lori, I know you are getting ready for work, and I am getting ready to hit the sack - hoping for a soft landing...- we are backwards !

Lori O. said...

LYNNE - DANG IT! I was so hoping the Stink Bugs were gone and you say they're coming back? NOOOOOooooooooo!

Our prayer list is really growing. Certainly wish Mom wasn't a part of it, but thank you so much for your love & support.

I pray that TORI gets her lung transplant. Sounds like the ultimate solution for her.

On my tech list, I'm asking
God to help MARGY, KAY and JIM out with new, very afforadble
and very fast computers, or compoopers as some are now.

BAD MEMORIES of that cold air in a can being blown on a painful tooth! OUCH!
Please give Jack a hug for the pain LOLLY...Lynn, thanks for reminding me, lol!

THELMA - hope your dentist visit turned out okay & wasn't too painful.

LOLLY - precious story of ANNIE
and her love of her wet food.
They say dry food is just
a convenience for the owners
that wet food
really is best.
Extra treats for Annie today, please.

MARGY - wish I could have
gone to your conference on
how to get along with difficult
people -- I know a few of those!

HODA - hope you have a new baby in the family by now. My niece had
a 10 lb 9 0z boy 2 weeks
ago...One wk overdue.

OKAY - getting ready to try out the new "do" and hit the road!

SHARON - eat your bananas!

magpie said...

Thanks to Judie for leaving that night light on - I needed it..oh, I hear footsteps, is it ? Yes I see him - the Sandman !

and the Z's are approaching fast...will miss the Early Morning Birders....but chat loudly and I will listen from the bedroom in between the hittings of Snooze Button....
Have a Good Early Morning Everyone...
xox ♥

Lori O. said...

Thanks MARGY! Yes, HUGE boy! No one knows where such a big baby came from as there's not one on either side of the family that was so big.

Lori O. said...

Good Morning to the Early Bird Eagle Family.

The SSCC is now open, the coffee is brewing and there's hot water with a variety of tea bags, too.

Lori O. said...

Early Birds, MARGY,n the sweet one, was up until 3 this morning so she won't be with us today.
:(

THE LIVE CAM IS STILL DOWN.

THE STILL CAM IS WORKING.

Kay said...

gLORI, dear, I'm here.♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Probably no MARGY and this is a possible sleep in day for JUDY, so it may be up to us. Thanks for getting the coffee on !

Wish I could see the new "do" ! Sounds lovely and I remember your being anxious for a change. Good timing for next week--you don't want to be fretting over hair care !

Congrats on that new little guy in the family. He's a hefty ! Have you seen the pics of the 16+ pound baby born in Texas last week ? Can't even fit into tradition newborn clothes and dypes. Ouch, mom, I hope it was a c-section !!! Understand dad is 6'7" and that mom's Diabetes also contributed to his birth weight.

Lori O. said...

TRUDER IN THE NEST!

Kay said...

Phooey to no live cam, but happy to at least have the still cam for backup.

Eagle on nest--think it's TRUDER, caught a hint of the tell tale spot.

Kay said...

He first went sneaking under the leafy bower. Now and 12 spot and looking like he may poof---and he does POOF

Lori O. said...

SURE IS HARD TO UPDATE NEST HAPPENINGS WITH THE STILL CAM.

OH WELL, JUST SOOOO HAPPY TO SEE AN EAGLE IN THE SYCAMORE PALACE!

Kay said...

He's back and under the leaves and Belle arrives at 12 spot.

Lori O. said...

Good Morning Miss KAY!

LOOKS LIKE THE SYCAMORE LEAVES ARE COVERING ABOUT 2/3RDS OF OUR NEST VIEW. NU, WHERE ARE YOU?

Kay said...

Still cam puts us at a huge disadvantage ! At least we know they are both alive and well !

Lori O. said...

Oh, it's Thursday so Judy will likely be sleeping in since today is her big day with that lucky little lady Jordyn!

Lori O. said...

BOTH EAGLES IN THE NEST NOW!
DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER.

Kay said...

Glanced away and think Belle POOFED. Truder emerges and into center of nest. So hard to see against the nest material, wish the color, or colour for HODA ☺, would materialize

Lori O. said...

KAY, I don't know what time we get color on the still cam, but that should help us a lot when it comes to seeing Belle & Truder.

Lori O. said...

Great minds think alike, eh?

lol!

Kay said...

BELLE BABY come back--we just can't live without you ! ♫♫♪

Kay said...

I keep refreshing and each time there is his rump sticking out from under the awning. Just meditating I guess.

Kay said...

Yes, Color aka Colour at the nest. That does help !
