Thank you, Steve, for the new thread. Hope you have a good week!
Just checking in quickly after paying a couple of bills online.
Lynn, have to chuckle--Emma is my self-appointed protector in the bug/spider department! If they are on the floor, they are DEAD before I can grab a shoe to smack them with! She catches flying ones, too. If they are on the walls/ceiling, she points right at them, so I can smush them. If I'm not paying attention, she barks! LOL That's my girl! To answer your questions, I am still working on transcription of police interviews. I'm STILL waiting to receive the work from the doctor! They must've sent it via slow boat to China! It's definitely snail mail! Think I will contact them today to see when to expect its arrival!
SHIRLEY- I hope Kathryn is alright after her fall. Thinking of her and your whole family actually. I loved the Dragon fly photo and it is wonderful you had your camera close by.
LORI/KATE- Thanks for the update on the surgery time change. In a few minutes now. PRAYERS PRAYERS PRAYERS...
PAULA- Wonderful mouth to beak resusitation...Thanks for letting Steve know we have no sound.
LOL I checked on the red peppers when I first got up they still look OK...Pricey yes, I eat them raw. I am sorry I gave the impression that the price was donating for a worthy cause. It actually was not!!!I'll make four salads.LOL on how value for the dollar affects my expectations..."enough already about the peppers" you must all be thinking LOL.
Hoda, peppers can be pricey here too...generally about $2.99-$3.99/lb. They are cheaper and more plentiful during the summertime...a grocery store here just had them for $1 a pepper!
JO- Who is the young man you met yesterday and everyone was so excited that you saw him...I sense there is a story behind it and wanted to know...I hope it is not being too nosey or insensitive...I join in your happiness for seeing him.
Happt, Hot Monday to Everyone in Eagleland! Hope all the birds are sitting in the shade. Had to water most of the flowers this AM--starting to wilt already!
Hoda, those in the nest area would know more than I do about Mason. He is the son of a family who has a music store in Shep'twn. He is very gifted and was to start college but was in a severe auto accident about 3 years ago. He wasn't expected to live & has been in hospitals and rehabs.Momsters & Dadsters lit candles for him and he has a page on online site about his progress (I can't remember the name).
Diann I know it is great to have family come around and nice and quiet and peaceful when they leave. Although I know you are having a WONDERFUL time with Theresa and Max.
BEAGLE---paint till your heart is content. ( :
Happy anniversary to Carolyn & Charlie and Michael & Ashley.
Happy Birthday Jack Lolly's email if you haven't already. It was suppose to arrive on your Birthday!!
Shirley hoping Kathryn is okay from her fall down the steps. Hoping for next days soreness to not be bad.
Mema Jo awesome you got to speak with Mason. So great he answered you...What a MIRACLE!!!
Paula I love the story of Nick getting oyster shells from the bottom and blowing bubbles through his nost LOL!!!!! He is a great JOY in your life and you in HIS ♥♥ I think if you got that on a video.....you could send it in and have a WINNER!!!!
Margy enjoy the water and you day with James. ♥♥
Kay you got a new tulip avatar pretty ( :
Prayers for Lori's Mothers Nancy surgery and for Lori and family. May God guide the nurses and doctors through this procedure. Thanks Kate
Paula Great video of the Vet and eagle!!! Thanks for posting.
KATE, thank you for serving as LORI's proxy ! Hopefully, by the time of this post, the operation is underway. Assure LORI we got it covered and that we love her soooo much ! We think you're very special, too ! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
WV DANA, thanks for the avatar compliment ! LORI sent me a whole batch of yellow flowers, all beautiful and this Dutch girl loves tulips and daffodils a lot !
WANDA, great advice for the anniversary couples. They could also take a good cue from you and Gene---keep on "dating" regularly !
LYNN, I'm crossing my fingers that there are no leaks from the power washing, but it's good to be ready in case.
Glad I read all the way through! Was going to post the link for Hoda, Jo! You beat me to the punch---thanks!!
Andy, if "local" mail is as slow there as it is here, it sometimes can take 10 days to go from one end of the county to the other! Typical "government" service!
Peeked in a couple times over the weekend and tried to catch up with reading the blog, but never completed!
Wanted to check in and see how Lori's Mom, Nancy was doing. Am praying for her surgery as it must be going on now. Lori, our prayers are with you and your Mom and family.
Will still try to catch up on what is going on, but probably never will. If you don't stay up with this every several hours, forget it!!
Bunnies are doing fine!!!!!
I peeked in on them Saturday and a couple of them looked up at me. They're getting big . Looks like Mom went back and weaved a bunch of her bunny hair over the nest. Smart Mommy she is!
Unfortunately the neighbor's cat is always lurking around.... :(
will continue to check in for news on Nancy's surgery. Thank you, Kate for the update on the time change.
Extra warm, extra humid here in So Cal today, but nothing like you people east of here are having.
Computer has been terrible and has been great since yesterday. Right now the only way I got on.line was by reporting an error to Microsoft, and when I was done, I just continued to use that FireFox connection...so far OK.
JO and LORETTA, Thank you for the information on MASON. What a courageous and determined young man. An Inspiration really. I appreciate the link to his site JO thank you very much.
...and DEAR GOD even though we ask a lot of YOU and we have many friends and family concerns we LOVE YOU A LOT and we APPRECIATE ALL YOU DO FOR US. Thank you for keeping an eye on NANCY and her TEAM right now...In YOUR GRACE always, humbly we sing YOUR PRAISES, from the blog...
It is hot here too today, we have hit the eighties...off to yoga and errands...BBL
JO, that's a hot set of wheels! I just put Frank's car on because Margy and some others were into the yellow thing! I think it's the spifgfiest one we have. One of my very favorites (except for my teal Trans Am) we had was a lime green Charger. We nsmed it Sub-Lime, the paint color. He sold it!! Guy was a good friend of son who lives here and he had had one long ago. When Dodge Chargers came back few yrs. ago, I went online looking for lime. The body is just not sporty. Teeny little boxy trunk---no flowing lines anymore. F is into Buick Skylarks mostly & had one painted green, but not quite lime---more apple green.
Glad you saw it Loretta cause I want to put the Sycamore Palace Tree back on. It looks like a bumble bee with the outstanding yellow and the black stripes! He is proud of it!
WOW been gone all day getting ready for our trip to CA. Manicure and Pedicure to start the day then shopping, shopping, shopping (and I don't like to shop). Now it's off to the vet with Frisbee for an ear cleaning and toe nail clipping and updating of shots! So much to do.
Trying to catch up. Prayers out to Lori and her mom.
Thanks for all the prayers coming my way. Two days with no episodes. Looks like the neurontin has worked! Yeah.
Oh, Lynn, how sad. Amazing the work that they do there. Can't save them all, unfortunately.
As for the "let nature take it's course method" espoused most places, perhaps we should start a campaign to Scottish Wildlife Trust. If they let Isla lay more eggs, then she and Laird will not migrate. I think if any are laid, they should be removed or the entire family will perish due to cold weather & the World will be up at arms! That's my $.02 worth. Thx for letting me vent.(I just hope she's too old to lay another clutch.)
there has been much sadness with wildlife this year I think compared to the past years or is it just me I know last year we had Phoniex but this year is like wow
DanaMo....when do you leave? You are a busy bee! And so glad that you haven't had any episodes. Neurontin is a good med....keep taking as prescibed!! Guess what---I hate shopping, too!
Jim...are YOU going shopping yet??!! Too bad that your joy in computing is being challenged! Oh, yes, VERY hot in mid-west, and heading this way....of course, it's 92° here now, but due to get worse later in the week.
Loft is clean and pics are down. No stink bugs up there, either! Hoping that if there are any eggs or youngun's in the checks (cracks) in the outer logs or between them, the power washing will flush them out!!! Then MAYBE I won't get inundated come fall.....ya' think???
Linda, good to hear that the baby bunnies are thriving!! Smart mama....hope she doesn't roast them with the extra fur!
Oh my the news of a death of another eagle...sad but amazing that the WCV was able to do as much as they did and learn as much as they learned...it is a GREAT PLACE...WAY TO GO WCV...
The boy who killed his parents must not be well. It is not a normal thing to do and I wonder what they will do about Mental Health exams...
Wonderful yoga practice and what a delight it is to work with this yoga teacher. Her name is Elissa and she does a wonderful Practice of Anusara, meaning flowing with Grace, connecting to the Divine.
I hoppe all is well and that we soon here from Lori or Kate about Nancy's surgery.
Try insuring 3 teenage boys! Yikes! My rates are off the wall.
We leave for CA on Wednesday morning. I finally have my dress and I think everyone is packed. I just want to get some groceries for the dog sitter, and we should be ready to fly! Should be a great trip!
I'll say No thanks DanaMo I don't think I can afford to insure three teen age boys for cars!!! Oh My the thought gives me shivers!!! I am excited about your trip and travel well. The house sitter is spoilt I think he has a really good deal paid and you feeding him to boot!!!
LYNN- Car Insurance in BC is expensive. It was less expensive in Alberta. It costs $ 2759.20 a year to insure my little Toyota. It is a 2009 small Yaris model. They work on a point system and for being accident free and ticket free and in good health I get discount points. This reduces the cost of the inurance. So my bill today came to $ 1379.60. The Sorbet helped make it all go down much smoother and we were all smiling by the end of it.
Sorry DANAMO Dog sitter not house sitter...we have house sitters here because the insurance requires that someone look in on the house every three days if the owners are gone.
INSURANCE Yikes mine goes up each year 1450 full coverage rental and towing also I also have a safe driving record No accidents reduction along with safety on truck and other deductions I don't have a truck payment but still keep full coverage I have a 2004 Ford Ranger EDGE Supercab flare side bed
DanaMo...sounds like you are ready!!! Do have a marvelous trip if I don't see you again! Enjoy all aspects!! I'm sure the wedding will be lovely! And, yikes, 3 teenage boys IS scary on insurance AND behind the wheel! Is your hair gray yet??
Hoda, that is a very hefty discount you racked up! Congrats!! My insurance on my 2008 Chevy truck is less than $1000, so I feel very lucky!!
Wow HODA who would tell if you were gone more that 3 days I go away for weeks at a time on vacation and leave my house alone it gets along fine without me LOL
JUDYE- I guess on the claim if something happened the date that would show up on the police report would give it away, if there was a need for a police report...if it was busted pipes or something they would know from the extent of the damage, caught early or not...too many possibilities...Insurance sounds less expensive in the States...on a 2008 truck less than a thousand dollars, WAY TO GO LYNN.
I think Lori's Mom was going to be in intensive care to at least six in the evening...and then it depends on when the doctor does his/her rounds...Prayers are on going.
About 5pm she sent me a text, they took her Mom into surgery at 1pm, surgery could last until 6pm. Those were optimistic times. She would be in recovery 90 minutes before they could see her. Lori sends her love.
I sent her back a very simple text, Lori we love you too!
THANKS PAULA for the update on Lori's Mom and for your answer. It is very sweet and to the point.
I am having a chickpea salad with cilantro and thyme, sage, parsley and mint from the herb garden. Also with half of one of the famous red peppers and it is delicious. There is less famous onion and carrotts, with olive oil and lemon dressing and a bit of ginger.A good supper...
My goodness, I cannot imagine the the insurance cost, Hoda. So happy the sorbet helped. No more expensive peppers for you, dear lady.
DanaMo, please have a safe and fun-filled and memory-filled visit to CA. May the bride and groom have a lifetime of happiness.
So sad about the eaglet. Sometimes I wish nature would just take a vacation where the baby animals are concerned. At least Linda's bunny babes are doing okay, so far.
Lynn, no SB news is good SB news. Hope the painting moves quickly tomorrow. Do you think Liesl will be a helper?
Sure hope to hear from Kate or Lori soon. I'm sure Nancy is just fine and hope Lori and her Dad are also.
I did send Lori another message, told her we were all praying for her Mom, and if it was easier to text me an update I would be happy to post to the blog! Told her to hang in there!
LYNN I'll have to see if I have any in puter I took when I first got it I'll have to get back with you on it
Hey I found the coolest effect on one of the picture sites I do pic on check it out on Glo Glimpses2 sort of a Kaleidoscope effect I couldn't find the one I had used before no longer there so I found this one It is so cool I did a couple of eagle pictures I may put on blog also I posted the link on it if any one is interested in doing pictures like that sort of fun toooo
DanaMo, so happy to hear the meds are finally working for you! Enjoy the trip, it should be a blast! I'm sure your sitter will take good care of your puppies!
Paula, thanks for being present and willing to extend a helping hand in being liaison between Lori and us...that is very sweet and very considerate. Zucchini bread sounds Great....Would you take a serving of chickpea salad for a slice of zucchini bread???LOL
Sounds like a well-balanced meal, Paula!!!! I have already decided what to get for my Weds. after-puppy class dinner----Subway has a pulled pork sandwich "for a limited' time! Looks good in the ads!
PAULA - Thanks for passing the text info on to us. We're all prayerfully waiting news. Prayers continue. I am sure Lori and her family are all exhausted by now!
Thanks for letting her know we all send our love as well!
wow Hoda, that's pretty interesting that someone has to look in on your home if you are gone! I have a difficult time leaving home, always worried that something will happen....
Thanks for relaying messages Paula!
Going to go to bed early, and work in the AM. Good night and prayers for all!
Lynne 2 are you drinking enough cold water? I get exhausted from the heat, sounds funny for the few hot days we get a year, when I do not drink ice cold drinks...
Lynn the Truder leaf now looks like a sitting duck...last night I laughed because I thought we were all staring too much at the nest if we were seeing Truder head in the leafs...today I say of course it is a duck...LOL can not decide if it is a mallard or a loon even with the neck line showing...must be mating season if it is a loon as the line is not as clear after the season is over...
Thank you Paula, for the update from Lori on her mother Nancy... will be watching for the next one; am sure Lori feels better just by being able to be close to one Momster who can share the news with the rest of us
and definitely happy to read that DanaMo is feeling better! Wow what a busy schedule... take care, and stay well on the road to recovery and comfort !!! That's not a recommendation, that is a Command !
Good Evening to you, too, Margy!! Always nice to "see" you.
LYNN - Oh to be 36 again..... I sure had more energy in those years!!!
LYNNE2 - Hope you feel better tomorrow. The heat doesn't look to be going anywhere for a few more days yet.....at least that is the case up here. We're getting hotter by the day as well.
HODA - It's awful the cost of automobile insurance in some parts.....
Moving up to PA in a more rural area away from the big city cut my insurance premium MORE than half!! Even on a brand new car up here my insurance is only about $500 per year!!!
Margy, I have mixed feelings about this being the last mission for the space shuttle. I also think it is wise and therefore I am happy that they are pushing the enveloppe, so to speak, and exploring new areas...I pray that they do not lose that which they have already established in space, they have vision for years ahead and new frontiers...I think of your President Kennedy's Inaugeral address with the inspiring words about new frontiers and here we are still exploring
Thanks Linda... same here, always good to see you! Your avatar, is beautiful. Hope you are seeing some interesting birds, gosh before we know it, it will be fall migration time! Glad the bunnies are doing okay too. Well, time to go find some bubbles to soak in for awhile...was swimming in the creek earlier and need to get cleaned up... be back before bedtime. Best Wishes for a Good Evening, Everyone ... xoxox
Oh, MARGY, we had a yellow-bellied Sapsucker checking out the feeders and pecking at the hummingbird feeder flowers this afternoon!! He was funny. Dennis took some pictures. Not a lot of color on the head, but had the red under the throat.
Now we know who is destroying some of our trees.......
I had never seen one of those close up before. We do have the downy, the red-bellied, the hairy, the pileated and the northern flicker too - all around the property and seen pretty often.
Hello from Lori (via Kate), The surgery is over and was successful. Mom is now resting and will be until the morning in ICU. If you could please pray that she has no pain or fear it would be appreciated.
Thank you, thank you so much.
I'll try to update some more tomorrow but for today - we're happy that the news is good....it's those Momster powerful prayers that have gotten us through today.
THANK YOU LORI and KATE. May there be no pain and no fear over night for NANCY and if there is may she have the inner strength, the fortitude to ask for help and receive it.
Amen! Relieving news, Lori and Kate. Thanks for keeping us in the loop as we hold you all in prayer. May Nancy have a good night (most assuredly she will because they will keep her well-medicated) and start to feel like new very quickly.
This evening I pulled dog park duty with Malcolm, then took him home and rode Julie's recumbant bike for 20 minutes, 2.8 miles. The family went to the Harry Potter film with another family. About two minutes after I drove away from their house the sky opened up. So from 7:30 to 9:30 we got a series of pretty violent storms moving through. All that to say, I was going nuts not being able to check for info on LORI's mom, NANCY. Now I'm so relieved to see PAULA's relay service and KATE's encouraging report a short time ago !!!! Hallelujah !!!!
Thank you Kate for relaying the good news from Lori! Glad everything went well!
Took Nick for a walk, and then he got to play with the Lab next door...they were just on their leashes but they played well and had fun. We are going to let them play together in the back yard one evening.
DANAMO, happy to see you are in the pink again and can look forward to a wonderful CA trip for the wedding !
There were some pretty interesting menus for dinner tonight ! I know we singles try to get that well rounded and nutritious diet, but every now and then we all resort to something like popcorn or kettle korn, don't we ? ☺
Checking out for the night as more storms approach. Prayers of thanks for bringing NANCY and her beloved family through the surgery today. Continued prayers for them and all in need !
So happy to have the update on Lori's Mom. Truly happy that she is doing well. Thanks so much to Kate for keeping us updated and to Paula for sending the updates along.
I just had a conversation with the sandperson. An agreement was reached. Sandperson is now in route to visit Nancy and to make sure she has a peaceful and restorative sleep. Sandperson also agreed to monitor medications and quality of care. Nancy will be well cared for.
Goodnight everyone. Our night light is on. Restful sleep for all.
Goodnight, Judie and all who have gone before. My turn! Painter people will be here at 7 so I will have to set alarm for 6. I workd hard today so I'm sure I'll sleep good tonight! Prayers of thankfulness for Nancy and for all our blessings.
Bedtime here too I guess... back to work in the morning :( Two days well spent with a lot of fun with James the Wise... makes an old gal feel mighty young !
Paula, sounds like Nick and the Neighbor Lab/s will enjoy being neighbors !!
Prayers for everyone here and amongst all our families and friends in need of healing and comfort
A very emotional day, but I am determined to get at least one post myself to thank you for the overwhelming kindness and loving thoughts so many of you incredible Momsters wrote today. Kate read some to me and I have seen more in my brief run through the posts this late night. What kind, caring and beautiful Eaglet Momsters you are. They said tonight she may be in CICU for two more days. I hope she is doing so well she is in a regular room tomorrow afternoon. She was awake when I saw her tonight...heavily drugged and fighting it. GO MOM! I cannot even begin to explain what your Momster support has meant. Thank you!
Very happy to see the report on Lori's mom. I am sure Lori is exhausted tonight. Thanks, Kate, for the report. Glad that you texted with her, Paula!
Lynne, are you feeling better? Take it easy in the heat! It is really getting to me....very depressing, to say the least. Today was our 17th day over 100. Lawn is dying fast! You can not do much outside except for very early morning.
Hello, getting pretty sleepy here. About ready to go upstairs. May read for a bit.
So glad to hear that Lori's mom is through the surgery and doing well.
Kathryn came home sore and tired tonight. I brought her dinner to the recliner. Problem is that it's a bit challenging to get out of the recliner, especially when one is stiff and sore.
Sandperson stopped here on the way to the hospital. I sent greetings to Lori's mom and the family.
Just checked when we might see ISS and the shuttle. Looks like Friday around 5:00 AM. Groan! But, I am going to do it. Now to convince Jack. I do not like going outside by myself...might be attacked by a wild armadillo. LOL
LORI...Thanks for your post tonight and Praises that your Mom did so well with he surgery.I hope you can get some rest tonight so you can continue to extend her help and support. Prayers for your family are on going. Thanks for the updates they are much appreciated.
LOLLY - Harry Potter tomorrow. I think you are going to an air conditioned theatre and how fun it will all be. Enjoy. Do tell more when you observe the ISS flyover on Friday morning. The shuttle is due back to earth Thursday
So glad to see that Lori's Mom is out of surgery, well medicated, and resting. God bless her rest and healing! Prayers continue for her, for Lori, and for the whole family.
I still have a kink in my neck, so am going to go try and get some sleep. Maybe it will be better tomorrow.
Prayers for Shirley's Kathryn! Bet she's pretty sore. Hope a good night's rest helps.
Turning on the porch light. Enabling both security systems. Wishing the very sweetest dreams for everyone! Will talk to you tomorrow, Lord willing. God bless, and goodnight! Love all of you! :o]
SHIRLEY I hope Kathryn is feeling less stiff and sore today Recliners are nice until you can't get out of them LORI hope your mom is doing better today ANDY I hope your neck get better I know how that feels
Ok now I am caught up with the few post that were to read LM now waiting to see if our eagle sneeks in under the leaf like yesterday
Good morning! Painter people just arrived.....and I've been up since 6----argh!
Saw my first buck in velvet this morning. 6-pt. already!! He was on the corn when I let Liesl out....he hung around for a few until I made the move to go "scoop" and then he snorted and dashed off.
Sharon, hope that no news is good news----if report had been dire, surely SOMEONE would have been in contact. How was your dr. apptmt.?
Shirley, sure hope Kat is feeling less sore today. Did she have any bruises showing?
Yes, Lolly, like Hoda said, shuttle is due to land pre-dawn Th. Are you taking any of the boys to the movie, or just you and Jack?
The "aura" that DanaMo and Margy mentioned was here, too....and I could smell rain. But nothing happened. Sun came out for a while but now clouded over again. It was 79° at 6!
My appointment was good. I have lost about 7 pounds since my first visit 3 weeks ago! Yay! He checked my potassium and I go back in a week for another check so he can get a baseline on what is happening.
GOOD MORNING... SHARON, 7 pounds is AWESOME! Keep on keeping on:)
Yep, it is gray and dismal looking here in Nestville...83 degrees and going up to 91 degrees. We have our A/C on already:(
We have been harvesting, peppers, tomatoes and squash from our "Tub Garden", and now, it is time to pick green beans, whch were planted in the ground, behind the tubs. Don't know if I can manage to do that or not, with this bad, bad knee:) I think Capt. Gene is free to help this morning. GET OUT THE COUNTRY HAM!
They are starting on the garage.....but guy is taping up windows on house, etc......Liesl is barking her head off.....bet MY head will be ready to explode if she keeps it up!
BTW, I thought I would join in on the loud colored car avatars. This photo is daughter, Karla's new beach buggy, sort of PEA GREEN (very loud:) She has license plates that says SWEET PEE :)
Congratulations on the weight loss, Sharon. Seven pounds. Great!
Hope Mattie is going to have wonderful reports.
Hmm, Hunter is something else. Told him to eat breakfast. Not hungry. Wants to play computer games instead. I pushed. Cereals in cabinet. Strawberries in refrigerator. Finally got him to taste a strawberry, but he said he did not like it.
Good Morning! On my way out to a client's today. Another busy week on its way!
L♥RI - So happy to hear your Mom came through surgery okay and am continuing my prayers for YOU and for Nancy in her critical recovery at this point. God is in control and has blessed us with YOU and is blessing your Mom, too. Feel the love, Lori! That is what we are all about here. We lift you and your Mom and your family up to God and pray he keeps you in his loving care in this difficult time.
Lolly, that is really strange.....those sites need to get their facts straight. Atlantis will be on the ground before 6:20 your time!! And if not, flyover would not be a joined one as they have already undocked!
Sharon, you are doing great, gal!!! Keep it up! We're behind you all the way!
LOL, Wanda----should have known that Karla would get something she can go off-road in the sand with!!! Hope she knows HOW!!! 4-wheel drive has some quirks....ESPECIALLY in deep sand! Interesting color----name matches!!
Linda, Suz (Mont Alto,PA) said that the storms stayed north of her. Hope you didn't have any damage...and that the rain was enough to be beneficial. Have a good work day....hope it's not the yakkity-yak guy!
Oh, Shirley.....don't let that boy give you gray hairs! Just be firm!!
LOL, Lynn..."interesting color" is a good way to describe it! I couldn't say, in all honesty, that I liked it, so I simly said, "it's a FUN color".
BTW, for those of you who are not on facebook, I have posted my most recent Trail Cam Video/slideshow on my Wild and Wonderful blog. The kits are getting so big, it's hard to tell them apart from their parents. My skunk couple brought one baby with them this time:) Deer also paid a visit in the day-time, which sets off the video mode. Love this cam. Karla said, this morning, while watching the video, that she felt as if she were drinking her coffee in my woods:)
Back from early morning dental appointment. Need a couple of crowns I've been putting off--will wait a few more weeks.
I've been looking on my computer for a picture of my vehicle taken in front of Mom's house(where I'm living now) during a snowstorm--thought it would cool me a bit. I can't find it, of course. I save these pictures, then forget where they are. Then a few months later I see them again....grrr I need to be organized with this machine.
Hope to hear that Lori's Mom is out of ICU soon. Prayers with the family.

I'll call them over...
Thanks for the call over, Hoda.
Thanks for the new thread Steve. Are you aware the sound is off on the live feed?????????
I DID get a sample report from them, and a transcribed version, which I immediately used to make a template. All ready to go when the stuff arrives!
DEAR GOD Look after Nancy and her team of doctors and Nurses and don't forget her family too...Thank you from all of us at the blog...
Fubby told me the story of the eagle resus yesterday. Amazing!
Steve thanks for the new thread.
Thanks Hoda for the call over.
Diann I know it is great to have
family come around and nice and quiet and peaceful when they leave.

PAULA that was a neat video with the eagle I posted on my facebook wall
I'm still learning a lot of nice things about my camera.
Hoda this link will tell the story of Mason
All of Shepherdstown and also those who
have heard of his story - love this kid!
Thank you for the prayer for Nancy, Hoda
BTW - enjoy those red 'hot' peppers
but don't forget to tell us all just
how you prepared them to eat!
I like them raw - green and red ones...
I remember making Pepper relish with all
colors of peppers when I was very young
I placed my avatar of the Ford Bronco on here for Loretta and Margy
to notice and give me a comment either
about the Hot Rod or the yellow color.
Nothnig yet from my 2 momster friends.
lol ♥
BBILW
Glad I read all the way through! Was going to post the link for Hoda, Jo! You beat me to the punch---thanks!!
Andy, if "local" mail is as slow there as it is here, it sometimes can take 10 days to go from one end of the county to the other!
Typical "government" service!
I have some errands to run.
Will catch up on comments.
Still have my trip pictures to name (that is what is taking the longest) and then put on.
Keeping in Prayer for Nancy Lori's Mother and Lori and family (((God Be With Them And Bless Them))Amen
NO stink bug carcasses behind any of the pics/plaques removed on this level. Now up to the bedroom/loft! Vacuuming as I go!
Just had a very successful "heeling" practice with Liesl! She is being lazy today, but she behaved well!!
Hoda, that was a very nice prayer you blogged "from us."
89° outside, 81° in sunroom, 76° in living room. Barest bit of air stirring---nothing like at nest!!!
Good Monday Afternoon!!
+++++++++++++++++++++
GOOD MONDAY
MORNING TO
YOU ALL.
+++++++++++++++++++++
C(°Ù¿°)D Jim
It looks like a bumble bee with the
outstanding yellow and the black stripes! He is proud of it!
Well, the puter is still working, but I'm not; so I'd better go on to more mundane things for now.
Talk to you later.
C(°Ù¿°)D Jim
Thank you, Steve. Have a great week.
Jim, so glad the computer is working however reluctantly. Enjoy having you check in.
Checked in myself to see if there is any update on Lori's mom.
Will check back later.
Yeah.
Sad news from WCV on the Bath Co. juvie:
Eagle succumbs
Oh, Lynn, how sad. Amazing the work that they do there. Can't save them all, unfortunately.
As for the "let nature take it's course method" espoused most places, perhaps we should start a campaign to Scottish Wildlife Trust. If they let Isla lay more eggs, then she and Laird will not migrate. I think if any are laid, they should be removed or the entire family will perish due to cold weather & the World will be up at arms! That's my $.02 worth. Thx for letting me vent.(I just hope she's too old to lay another clutch.)
Oh that's sad news about the young eagle.
So sad about the eagle
there has been much sadness with wildlife this year I think compared to the past years or is it just me I know last year we had Phoniex but this year is like wow

Praying Car Salesman
Oh my the news of a death of another eagle...sad but amazing that the WCV was able to do as much as they did and learn as much as they learned...it is a GREAT PLACE...WAY TO GO WCV...
The boy who killed his parents must not be well. It is not a normal thing to do and I wonder what they will do about Mental Health exams...
One of the errands I wantd to do today was renew my car insurance for the year. To make it a less stressful experience I stopped at Grounded, A little Café in Nelson, and I bought a most delicious Ginger and Mango Sorbet...It is my way of joining in with you guys seeing as how this is National Ice Cream Month in the US...it was delicious, it turned out I had saved enough to pay for my car insurance and I feel fortunate for all the discounts I got. It is an extensive coverage and I kept everything the same.
Wonderful yoga practice and what a delight it is to work with this yoga teacher. Her name is Elissa and she does a wonderful Practice of Anusara, meaning flowing with Grace, connecting to the Divine.
I hoppe all is well and that we soon here from Lori or Kate about Nancy's surgery.
...that would be hope and HEAR from Lori or Kate in my last post.
This was just on our fox news to funny it happened in Orlando I found it on Fox 13
Man Steals Swan Gets Caught From Trail Of Feathers
Hoda, that sounds like a magnificent sorbet flavor! I had a mango margarita at dinner yesterday!
Is auto insurance terribly expensive in Canada, Hoda? Must be if you needed fortifying before you went!!!
Great attitude and a true love story.Let It Be
They grew up in your part of the world...
DANAMO I can't wait for the wedding pictures Have fun and be safe on the way
andy word from LORI I know she hasn't been on the blog at all
JUDYE- I guess on the claim if something happened the date that would show up on the police report would give it away, if there was a need for a police report...if it was busted pipes or something they would know from the extent of the damage, caught early or not...too many possibilities...Insurance sounds less expensive in the States...on a 2008 truck less than a thousand dollars, WAY TO GO LYNN.
I think Lori's Mom was going to be in intensive care to at least six in the evening...and then it depends on when the doctor does his/her rounds...Prayers are on going.
Thanks so much for the Congrats on my anniversary! I can say officilly, we have been together half of my life!
Evening, all! Got a text from Lori!!
About 5pm she sent me a text, they took her Mom into surgery at 1pm, surgery could last until 6pm. Those were optimistic times. She would be in recovery 90 minutes before they could see her. Lori sends her love.
I sent her back a very simple text, Lori we love you too!
PAULA thanks for the update so they took her later than they were going to Keeping them in my thoughts
I'm sure Nancy is just fine and hope Lori and her Dad are also.
new sp for oficially!!! officilly!!
Thank you for the update, Paula.
A very poignant story, Hoda. Wonderful people. I do feel terribly sorry for the bridesmaid.
LOL, Carolyn----try officially!!!
Paula, thanks for sharing the word from Lori. She had posted an email to the group about the NBG release....but didn't mention how things were going!
JudyE---want to see a pic of you and the truck!! Mine can be seen in some momster album pics!
Hoda, your dinner sounds yummy---and SO glad the pepper was tasty.
Hoda, car insurance does sounds terribly expensive!! Glad you made out good and enjoyed a sorbet to boot!
So far for dinner, I've had white cheese popcorn. Think zucchini bread is next ☺
DanaMo, so happy to hear the meds are finally working for you! Enjoy the trip, it should be a blast! I'm sure your sitter will take good care of your puppies!
I had kettle corn so far for dinner I am so addicted to it
the colors on the nest looks so bright at this second
odd right before it gets dark huh
truder leaf is not the same tonight another leaf is on his head LOL
Paula, thanks for being present and willing to extend a helping hand in being liaison between Lori and us...that is very sweet and very considerate. Zucchini bread sounds Great....Would you take a serving of chickpea salad for a slice of zucchini bread???LOL
Sounds like a well-balanced meal, Paula!!!!
I have already decided what to get for my Weds. after-puppy class dinner----Subway has a pulled pork sandwich "for a limited' time! Looks good in the ads!
evening all!
I've been just a little under the weather today...very, very tired. I think the heat is really getting to me.
DanaMo, have a safe trip! Glad your pain is going away finally.
Sure praying that Lori's mom is doing well and that she is done and out of recovery by now!
Good night and prayers for all!
hahaha third time is a charm, officially!
Lynne 2 are you drinking enough cold water? I get exhausted from the heat, sounds funny for the few hot days we get a year, when I do not drink ice cold drinks...
Lynn the Truder leaf now looks like a sitting duck...last night I laughed because I thought we were all staring too much at the nest if we were seeing Truder head in the leafs...today I say of course it is a duck...LOL can not decide if it is a mallard or a loon even with the neck line showing...must be mating season if it is a loon as the line is not as clear after the season is over...
light on color gone so sad means no eagles
Hoda, no need to trade for the bread! You are welcome to some anytime! (but the salad does sound yummy!)
Nite light is on! Sure wish they would make ONE visit in the evening! Seems like it's been forever since I've seen our eagles.
OK light is on and I wished wwe had the sound to tell if they were close to the nest and simply didn ot grace them with their presence...
Tomorrow the Space Shuttle starts its trip back to earth...I wish them God Speed.

I am sorry you must not have seen my comments about the Bronco, shortly after you put it up as your avatar....
I had said:
It was Baaaaaaaaad and that your son better hide the keys !
so I just told you again what I think of it ☺
Thank you for accommodating those of who love Yellow here
Lynne
Hope you are feeling perky again soon...
I saw an Imperial Moth the other night...
and the Joe-Pye weed is coming along nicely
and definitely happy to read that DanaMo is feeling better!
Wow what a busy schedule...
take care, and stay well on the road to recovery and comfort !!!
That's not a recommendation, that is a Command !
Come 2:18 in the morning, Christie will be 36!
Hoda
I keep checking the ISS Flyover site hoping to see ISS-Atlantis, but no such luck...
I see the Mission is winding down now :(
and I see Kootenay site is still down on the live feed, and no updates
Good Evening Eagle Pals !!
Margy,
I have mixed feelings about this being the last mission for the space shuttle.
Best Wishes for a Good Evening, Everyone ...
xoxox
Oh LINDA I am jealous...500 dollars for insurance on a new car...???I take it this is per year not per few months...right? LUCKY YOU!!!
Yes Hoda...I am sure the ISS crew will miss the American Shuttle visits...
I need to get more informed about all this...
ttfn xo
Leaving my long day at my desk to visit with my hubby for a while before heading to bed!! Maybe we'll have some ice cream and strawberries, too!!
I'll check back in before heading to bed to see if we have news about LORI's Mom NANCY! Prayers continue!
BBL - Hope everyone is having a nice Monday evening.... ♥
Hello from Lori (via Kate),
The surgery is over and was successful.
♥L♥I♥B♥E♥R♥T♥Y !!!!!!!
Lori aka Kate - Thank you so much by
letting us know our prayers are being
answered. I will continue praying for
Nancy's comfort and healing!
I have been watching some TV
Soon I will head to the pillows....
Margie - you and I need a step stool if not a short ladder to get up in that
Yellow Ford Bronco! lol
Sorry I did miss your original remarks.
Glorious News, regarding Nancy...
Thanks go to Kate, to Paula, to Lori...and to God...
Judie - I think you have sent a proper emissary to Pittsburgh....to look after the sleep and rest factor !
Yes Jo...regarding the Bronco...
sure of that...stepstool or stepladder - or better yet...
have a handsome young man boost us up ! ☺
Bedtime here too I guess...
back to work in the morning :(
Two days well spent with a lot of fun with James the Wise...
makes an old gal feel mighty young !
Paula, sounds like Nick and the Neighbor Lab/s will enjoy being neighbors !!
Prayers for everyone here and amongst all our families and friends in need of healing and comfort
God Bless Us, Every One
xoxo ♥
added to the "thanks to" list for Lori's Mother Nancy:
the health care team, each and every one....
Good night, everyone. God bless.
We are going to see Harry Potter movie tomorrow. Yea! Hopefully going mid day there will not be a huge crowd.
Just checked when we might see ISS and the shuttle. Looks like Friday around 5:00 AM. Groan! But, I am going to do it. Now to convince Jack. I do not like going outside by myself...might be attacked by a wild armadillo. LOL
Heading to the shower. More prayers for Lori and Mom.
Night all!
Sweet dreams!
Sleep has overwhelmed me...
Good Night Friends
Thankful to have gotten Lori's one post
It sure meant a lot hearing from her
Hugs to all

LOLLY - Harry Potter tomorrow. I think you are going to an air conditioned theatre and how fun it will all be. Enjoy. Do tell more when you observe the ISS flyover on Friday morning. The shuttle is due back to earth Thursday
Hi, Everyone,
So glad to see that Lori's Mom is out of surgery, well medicated, and resting.
Shirely I am glad Kathryn was able to go to the recliner and that you brought her her supper...How Great is that!!!
Andy I hope your neck gets better for tomorrow.
Goodnight and sleep well everyone. I am signing off too and I know gratitude for the healing energy of prayers.

I agree DanaMo, hard to describe the morning, "aura" is pretty close, I think the humidity is the culprit...
Have a good work day, Judy, sorry the Eagles were not here to jumpstart your morning
xo
Thinking of Lori and Nancy, and hope that the overnight was restful and the morning has brought good feelings of recovery and comfort
"Wild Sweet William" up and close and personal on my avatar
Best Wishes for a Good Day, Everyone
someone here overslept and is running behind schedule :(
xoxo ♥
Good morning my eagle budlets! Hope all is well with everyone!!!! Getting ready to start working for the day. MAKE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!
Tiny Watchdog
Good morning!
Like everyone else, waiting to see an update on Lori's Mom.
Hi Sharon. How are you feeling? Did I miss an update on Mattie?
Wonder how Shirley's Kathryn is feeling this morning.
Margy, hope the day is non-stressful.
Off for coffee and newspaper. Today will get the ironing done and begin reading a book on career criminals.
Wishing all a pleasant morning.
Good morning!
Haven't read back yet. Just having my coffee and thinking about what I need to take care of today.
Hoping that everyone is well.
I hope we hear news soon about Lori's mother.
Interesting events taking place in London. Scary how much seems to have been going on with Murdoch and all of those people.
Messaged Kathryn at work to see how she feels. I did not talk with her before she left for work today.
No Shirley, no update on Mattie yet. Her doctor is out until tomorrow but she is feeling okay for now.
Good morning! Painter people just arrived.....and I've been up since 6----argh!
Saw my first buck in velvet this morning. 6-pt. already!! He was on the corn when I let Liesl out....he hung around for a few until I made the move to go "scoop" and then he snorted and dashed off.
Good morning! Need to head outside, not to work but to enjoy the yard before it gets too hot.
Hoda, too funny! I looked up the ISS schedule and that is what it says...7/22. That is Friday! Boy did someone goof! Guess I will not see it.
Yea, for that 7 pound loss, Sharon.
Lynn, boys are still on trip with parents. They are in New Jersey right now. They start home tomorrow.
Lynn, can not believe that had that schedule for the shuttle to be so wrong.
Okay, went to another ISS schedule site and it says Thursday morning about 6:20 we can see ISS and Atlantis, very bright. Hmmmm??? We shall see.
Cloudy here, too. It pretty humid when I went out earlier.
Really must get serious about fence shopping here today. I have been putting it off for too long now.
Oh, no! Just discovered that side door on garage was NOT locked.....wonder how long that has been the case??? Geesh!
Double oh, no......guy's son has "pants on the floor" look----shorts halfway down his arse with briefs showing. UGH!
They are starting on the garage.....but guy is taping up windows on house, etc......Liesl is barking her head off.....bet MY head will be ready to explode if she keeps it up!
Hope you get to see all that Lolly,,.
Atlantis will be returning
ISS will stay up there !!!
I would like to see them both again as during the last mission, but don't see a sighting on here for this area
xoxo
Grandma is getting more grey. hair.
Good Morning Eagle Pals from work
nearly 20% of my work day is over...
Hope everyone will HAVE a good day or FIND A WAY to have a good day....
xoxox ♥
That is one colorful vehicle, Wanda.
Wanda:
SWEET PEE ????
I noticed that new avatar on your good night post
Cool Set of Wheels.. !
okay 'bye
Oh, excuse me, these are NOT computer games. They are video games. How could I not know that??
The caption on the picture says "SWEET PEA."
ok just checked ISS flyover schedule for this area:
says July 25 and July 26 -
ISS-Atlantis...
and nothing else before that time for either one
I am getting confused about all this
Actually, the license plate says, I believe, SWEET PEEA, because SWEET PEA was taken~
Morning, all!
See Lori checked in late last night! Love you Lori! Prayers continue for your Mom!
Margy, there is one schedule that is totally wrong for Atlantis flyover. Somebody messed up!
Off to dry my hair. Need to get to church to water plants.
Have a great day!
Just looked back and read Lori's post at 11:35 last night. Good to know that her mother is doing well. Hope she will be in a regular room soon.
Liesl is now in her crate in the basement......Tylenol time for me!
Gotta run for now!
Couldn't come back to the blog last night as we lost our internet in a nasty storm. Sun is shining now.......at least for a while!
Have a wonderful Tuesday, Dear Ones!
Ditto what Linda said about Nancy!
I am going to be shrouded in on the front and sides! What he is using to cover the windows is not clear!!
Checked spaceweather chart for my zip and it says the same thing: ISS-Atlantis for the 25th+.....someone obviously doesn't know what they're doing!!
Hello T-Bird
from this Peep
Blackwater Osprey chicks really getting BIG -

Hi, Thelma! How are you feeling?
MUCH better, I hope! Are ytou getting the 90+ temps? Drink some lemonade for me, please!!!
Wanda, baby skunks are so cute, aren't they?? Haven't even been to FB yet.
Oh....
♫ ♪ HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BABY GIRL CHRISTIE!! ♪ ♫
Morning all. Steamy here in NW PA.
