Hi Margy...I am sorry you could not get the little video I posted yesterday to work.It is only fifteen seconds...how are you and do you think the shuttle will take off on time...I am concerned due to the weather reports.
Hiker in Yellowstone killed by mama grissly "protecting" her cubs. Sure hope they don't do anything to her. She tossed his wife in the air, but she was okay and did not need medical attention.
LYNN, poor SIL, ouch ! He'll be on the prayer list tonight.
LOLLY, I don't think any of us can get too many pictures ! Love em' ! Meatballs are one of Seth's favorite foods and mine are pretty standard. Please share the recipe with me, too !
SHIRLEY, be very careful with throw rugs---many a fall has been caused by them. I have a few around, but all butting up to walls, under sinks, etc.. My eldest went through my place a couple of years ago, lecturing me about throw rugs that had no non-skid backing. Discarded them and complied with her orders ! ☺
ANDY, Do Not Curb Your Enthusiasm ! Wonderful news on the doc and possibility of a job ! We are all rooting for you !
HODA, no clunking heard here, in fact I don't have any sound at all. Another windy afternoon there, but it's blowing in the wrong direction today.
oh that is tough news, Hedgie..what a frightful experience for the wife...
Doing fine, Hoda, thanks... have the live screen split with an email screen...catching up with family, or trying to... does not sound too good for the launch on Friday....I would watch from work, with NO sound if it does happen...will be watching for updates
I think eventually I WILL get your video to open...am one step further along than earlier at least ☺
my live feed is sort of stopping and starting, but I do have sound The Dinosaur, surprises me every day have you ever had sound on the new laptop yet Shirley ?
A lightning strike occurred within 1/3 mile of the shuttle Atlantis launch pad midday today. No damage was reported, however, technicians are doing a thorough check to make sure.
LYNN and KAY I read at CBS that they are NOT going to hunt down the grizzly. It is in the back country. They closed off the area for hikers and will not take further action to hunt her down.
One of the Nelson Doctors and his wife were mauled by a Grizzly and it was terrifying for the both of them. They made it out of there with the help of some other hikers. They were hiking in Waterton National Park. He is OK and continues to practice medicine here. She had so many problems with the injuries and so much pain that years later she committed suicide. It was tragic, yet he continues to advocate for the rights of the bears.
I hope the woman invovled in the mauling in Yellowstone gets a lot of help to deal with this ordeal. She will need it. God rest his soul.
LYNN, Casey shows such a mature grasp of reality, doesn't she ? Perhaps she and the other convict were comparing fantasies, but if she was serious she's one sick puppy. I thought she showed her lack of sense when showing up today with hair flowing and then pawing at it repeatedly. Sickening to watch her openly flirt with Baez, too. I guess I'd be smitten with a man who saved my life, too. However, she wasn't out of the woods with the judge yet and showed her lack of couth. Although I'm sure Judge Perry could care less what she does as long as she's done her time and pays her fines. You watch, she is going to get herself into some kind of trouble again. She's way too full of herself !
Hi Red. See you were just here! Hope all is well. I still think of your pic w/chickadee eating out of your hand. A man that worked at Park long ago could do that!
BTW, when I had Live cam on the other night, it was on way over an hour for 1st time. It's usually been 14:42 min. Saw that Ustream has a cam for a "Sea Eagle", but it's in Australia and doesn't look like the huge European white-tailed sea eagles we've watched before.
Horrible about the bear attack so sad and I hope they don't do anything to the bear we are invading their country ok I just read that they won't bother the bear maybe I should read all but then I would forget stuff LOL
I didn't get to see anything of Casey thanks all for your input other wise I would be lost today no news no grown up tv at all today
It has rained on and off all day and is raining now
about those Sycamore leaves... We've had them IN the nest before, but not so much AT the nest like this year I would guess one reason would be from the limb-trimming last fall they really ARE beautiful leaves
No rain here that I know of yet! Report is that on FRI., DC will have 70% chance of rain. If so, I'll take a pic!!! At Chelsea yesterday, part of the weeping willow tree broke off probably due to Sunday's storm. Not TOO close to where we park, but always checking.
Lynn--only comment about SIL's dental appt---ICK! I've never called my reg. dentist about my stump. It's just fine! He'll see it when I go for cleaning & I'll wear my knee brace so I can dash to the door!
Aha!!!! Casey IS going to be on probation and can't leave Orange Co. without permission from the court. Texas Equusearch is filing civil charges to recoup their expenses, along with the state/county, and don't forget that Zenaida Gonzalez's suit was on hold until after the trial, so it will go forward.
Big Giant-Sized Prayers for Lori, her mother Nancy and all the family and doctors and health-care team for the surgery in the morning (( We're with you Lori ♥ ))
did you hear that Cheney said that if Casey ask him to move in with him he would say yes he said she needs to color her hair and get plastic surgery and she is not safe anywhere He feels maternal to her like a grandfather I dvrd HLN from 5 on so I get to see some of what happened to day
Did you all hear the letter that she wrote to the other inmate about wanting more kids and may adopt BE REAL she need help big time
Good Day - great to be back and out of dial-up land! Storm did come by and it was really just lots and lots of beautiful rain! Just trying to get back into the every day life here at home - It was a beautiful and relaxing time down at the summer home.
Seems like all of you have a good fourth. I'll never be able to read back so I will just move forward. ♥
The sandperson is again loitering just outside the door.
The night light is set for 11:00pm for anyone who may need to arise in the dark or will be arriving late from the West coast. Restful sleep for all and a special prayer for Lori's Mom.
In addition to our ongoing prayer list which now includes our dear LORI and her mom, Nancy, I'm adding LYNN's SIL. May the Good Lord bless all, easing pain and anxiety where they exist. He is the Great Comforter !
I'll try to be up with the SSCC Early birds. Hopefully Belle and Truder will favor us with a nice long visit!
Have a good, good night and don't forget to don your RED in the morning. God Bless Our Troops !
Welcome Home Jo and how grand it is that you had such a wonderful relaxing time at your summer home. It will be good to hear from you more often now that you are not on dial up...
Think I better shut down to be safe. And I have retiree breakfast in the morning, so up VERY early. Sleep tight, be safe, and know that you all are held in prayer.
Gosh, I've missed a bunch of you! Hope you all get a good night's sleep, with sweet dreams!
Good to see that WV Dana and Mema Jo got home safely. Glad you both enjoyed your time away from home!
Lynne2, how is your Steve doing? Hope you were able to work out a good deal with the dentist! Have you managed to contain Brother Cat? He's a slick one, for sure!
Boy, I hope it cools down a bit tomorrow. I had to water quite a few of my outdoor plants again just a little while ago. The ones that require a fair amount of water are suffering!
By the way, Judie, I had to laugh at your comment about learning cursive, in spite of myself! :oD
Say, good to see Red here! Don't be a stranger! If you have time to lurk, you have time to say a quick "Howdy!" Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
Well, think I am going to hit the hay early, after a quick shower. Hope the shower helps. It's been really humid, and I hate how sticky that makes you feel!
Making sure the porch light is on. Enabling both security systems. Saying prayers for everyone--our prayer list is growing! Praying for all our critters, too. Sleep tight, everyone, and I will talk to you tomorrow. God bless, and goodnight! Love all of you!! :o]
Just watching weather and hoped all on Eagleland are OK. They showed big storms from S. of Winchester in a line NE of there & would be hitting other places. AND DC Area has a flood watch FRI. & THREE in. of rain expected!!!!!As I said before, there will be film if I see any precip! Our Chelsea pond could use a good dose to stir up the algae! Poor geese are not swimming on water! Prayers for Lori's Mom's surgery & to her and family and for all others battling health problems.
The Lord was watching over one of my life long friend's hubby, Danny.Friend Jeanne's Dad was my Godfather. They are in Annapolis. He woke up one AM about 3weeks ago w/numbness on one side. He kept his mouth shut, but they finally found out a few days later & took him to ER, he had MRI, etc., & no one saw anything. He has only gone to a chiropractor occasionally & took him the MRI. They went on vacation & got home yesterday. The chiro. said that there was a small blood clot on MRI, but probably too small to mention!!!He went to GP today who had given him anti-epilepsy pills before & had a Doppler. Arteries are OK. They now say he DID have a stroke, could have numbness for a year, he will finally get cholesterol med. & has appt. w/neuroligist and cardiologist!!!!DUH. They are probably getting a new GP,too. So, plz, some thoughts for Danny. He's lucky to be with us!
Goodnight everyone and God Bless...A quiet evening reading and so I will bid you all a good night and see you tomorrow morning God Willing. Sweet Dreams.
Lowreeda, scary story about your friend Danny. He's pretty darn lucky...glad he is finding a new GP. Sorry to heary about the Mom osprey, hope Dad can feed the other 2. Glad Grey moved one!
Welcome Home to Jo and Dana!
Hoda, Nick did get his stitch removed...it was only one. Sorry your practice got cancelled.
Got Nick's new collar and rabies tag on...he keeps shaking his head...wondering what the "bling" is, LOL. Still have to get name tag....now that I know he will be "Nick". Oh and he likes ice cubes ☺
Heading to bed, catch ya'll in the am. Heading up to John and Ajay's to sit the gkids for a little while, they are going out to hear a band for free.
LOLLY and JACK now snoozing away after returning from Laurel's home in the wee small hours of the morning. The boys liked the meatballs ? Alright ! Bring that recipe on--there are other grandsons who may love them, too !
LYNNE, I missed out on the reason why you're extra busy and haven't been with us a lot for a couple of days. I miss getting your read on current events and animal matters ! Hope you'll soon have more free time.
Good Morning!!! YES I AM UP!!! Or should I say OH NO I AM UP!!! Don't know why!!! I thought Eagles so I came here...No show yet from what I can gather...KAY I like your words to Lori about the radio...LOL!!!
Good morning DanaMo and Kay...yes it is so pretty when the colour changed. I smiled.
DanaMo going back to school in July??? This for sure requires an OH NO expression...It used to take me to the middle of July to start feeling normal, as in I have a life seperate from being a school teacher...
Trust me Kay, the air is not moving around here! Very humid and still. We did have a storm come through last night, lots of thunder.
The dress I bought fit okay, but I have been carrying around an extra 5-10 lbs since I started working at the school. I really want to lose it, not just for the wedding, but so my regular clothes fit better. I started the "Cinch" diet the other day. I hate diets. I don't do well with diets. I love to eat junk food!
The leaf towrds us yellow in tone, barely moves. I had to look very carefully when I read your comment Kay...camera just stopped at the 14:45 mark and now again no movement...oh there a big gust of air...
It does look very wet at the nest , thanks for the weather conditions Dana Mo... Wow your household sounds busy with the kids and the dogs...enjoy the holiday, you earned it...
@Hoda, that's what my mom says, but I am so used to be on the go, go, go, that this slow down is making me alittle nuts! I worked so hard on the kitchen and yard to get everything done by summer so I could relax, and now I'm having trouble relaxing! LOL!
Cinch diet-5 foods/5 days. Suppose to be able to lose 8 lbs (which is all I need to lose) Raspberries, yogurt, spinach, almonds, eggs. Mix them up various ways for 4 meals a day. That's very basic...
The diet sounds good DanaMo. Good luck with it. I second the motion on Blessing the US and Canadian troops. You all do so much more than us though and so I always say a special prayer for your troops over seas.
Five good foods, DANA, but it's a cinch I'd be sick of them all after five days. It sure makes grossery shopping easy, except that you still have to feed that houseful of teens a more substantial diet. Good luck with it !
Grossery shopping is on my mind as that is my main goal for this day. Must get out this morning, before the worst of today's heat and humidity sets in. Seth and I will be getting back to our Sat/Sun routine this week and I must have some teen friendly snacks and foods on hand.
Yes, HODA, I have a stepson, step daughter and a cousin all in the Greater Phoenix area. I sent inquiries last night and have yet to hear from them. It had to be horrendous !
I can remember some pretty severe dust storms in Tucson, but nothing even approaching that magnitude !
The pictures of the dust storm were incredible. I hope they are well Kay and that what ever repairs they had to make were not too costly. Thinking of the dust getting into things...
Well the duke and the Duchess of Cambridge will soon be in the USA...California...I think their trip to Canada wasa success...
Prayers for Lori's Mom and Lori as she helps her through this time...
Raspberries, spinach, almonds and eggs I love. Yogurt, not so much. I just don't love any of them enough to make it through nothing else 4x a day for 5 days ! I'd be gagging at the thought of any of them after 3 days, I'm sure !
Yes, HODA, the clean up will be a quite a job. Cousin Judy, has a pool and I saw some clips of folks dealing with the mess that is. My stepson, Stuart, builds precision racing engines and I sure hope his garage was airtight enough to prevent sand and grit damage to his supplies and the engine in progress at the moment. As an asthmatic I'd probably be in the hospital about now, but thankfully none of them have that malady.
I like all of those five foods, Dana How are fixing the spinach? I love yogurt, but to have make myself go for it sometimes great food to have at work try to have two a day Dannon and YoPlait are my favorites and of the Greek yogurts
The Eagles might have been self-conscious about a wet and soggy appearance this morning and decided to preserve their vanity instead of giving us a visit !
not sure yet Hoda, I will go check the web-Tv link in a minute or two
when I first starting eating yogurt, in 1970 - it was very difficult to find it in the grocery stores, and few containers of Dannon and that was IT ! Now...so many choices I also had a culture and made it for several years, could make any flavor I wanted to then
As Lynn posted Thursday, a trained staff tree-climber removed the eggs from Loch of the Lowe's nest... after they observed that the Ospreys had pretty much stopped incubating the eggs, and had been observed dropping vegetative matter on the eggs The climber had to look pretty hard for the eggs but did locate and remove them, they will be examined for research I have been watching the nest a little this morning, Rather sad as the Adults seem to be looking for them and also , doing nestorations
but my main concern of the morning is Prayers for Lori's Mom's Nancy's surgery scheduled for 0900 things are probably in motion NOW on the preparations
Prayers for You, Lori, and all the family (( HUGS ♥ )) XO
Good morning one and all Woke up to severe weather here Looks like we will be stuck at home today My road out front is under water looks like a river Thanks goodness I have a truck which is high up I use to have a mustang and when there were days like this I couldn't leave or come home till the road drained Florida and its drainage problems as always rains to hard
Morning, early birds.....don't know how you all do it when you don't need to! Hope Hoda and Kay get some snooze time in! DanaMo---I think you need to find a new project so that you aren't so bored! Don't wish your summer away! Alarm rang, hair washed, dried, set. Make-up done. Tea brewed. News on.....and Leisl still hasn't made a peep! Amazing.
Loretta, so sorry abut Danny---he is one lucky fellow. An excellent example of why NOT to ignore symptoms! Prayers for him.
Prayers still for Lori's Mom, and the whole family.
Shuttle launch certainly sounding dubious. I will be home in plenty of time for it IF it happens. I know I will cry...
Kay, dust storm was awful...;can't imagine living with something like that...can you imagine the DAMAGE it could do?? Glo's daughter and family is there, too. They were just returning from SC vacation when it hit.
Margy, you are probably ready to walk out the door---have a quiet day.
WOW I had almost 5" of rain in my rain gauge no wonder my road was a river Its drained down now and is still raining but not as hard Good mornin THELMA I think everyone has flown the coupe almost a hours since last post
I have been reading the blog and watching the pre-launch activities this morning.
Remembering when the children and I watched a launch from the roadside in Florida years ago. There were lots of other people with us, and that was supposed to be a "secret" launch.
We got up that morning and drove as close as we could before it was time for the blast-off, then we just pulled off the road. The sound was amazing. It just came rolling across the land and hit us.
I have much to do around here, but am a little sore from all the stuff I did yesterday. The sofa is piled with things I moved out of the way. I might get Hunter involved with some of the work. I hear him upstairs, but he hasn't come down yet.
GOOD MORNING... Looks like I didn't post a GOOD NIGHT message last night. I tried several times and I actually fell asleep 2 or 3 times while I was attempting...I would look at the screen to see what I wrote and would have a series of NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN or something similar. So I must have given up!:) Our truck with our Food Pantry rations, broke down somewhere near Morgantown and didn't get into town til 8pm, last evening. By the time we got loaded and back to the church, it was quite late. We were really dragging tail by the time we got home. We had over a ton of canned and frozen food to handle and put away. We did have the help of 4 others from the church, thank goodness. The Lord is good, ALL the time:)
No family tonight...Denise has a photo shoot and Karla is still in OBX, so, maybe CRAB LEGS are on the menu, if GG is up to it;) I just love to see her enjoying her crab legs and, of course, I LOVE them too:)
Lynn SIL 7 teeth pulled hope he is not in too much pain.
Mary Margaret it is good to hear she is going home from hospital.
Lynn-Hedgie I wished there was a video of Liesl running through the house. Having her fun lol
Oh Shirley "throw rugs". Mom and Dad had them on the beautiful shiny wooden floor. Every time you turned around, I as a kid would have a sprained ankle. Doctor told Mom to get rid of those things. Before this kid really breaks something. He told her how bad sprains and re-occuring sprains were.
Home.....looks like launch is still on schedule....subject to instant change. T minus 9 and holding, as usual.....weather interfering with my satellite....having to watch on puter. Skies look as ominous there as here. WilBBL---want to enlarge to full screen for launch.
Good morning to everyone who has come in since I left.
Hi all, still waiting for mom to go to surgery. Doc said they will put in a stent and do tests on the valves so they know how to proceed with them. Thank you so much for the prayers.
I will update after the surgery. Dad and the Pastor are here too.
Yes, Sharon - there is always that fear of something going wrong. I feel it when there is a lift off as well as when the Touch down when they come home.
I just can't wrap my mind around how after all these years and accomplishments and expense, the program can just be abandoned.....and these stupid pols are going to let our astronauts depend on Russia and India to transport them and supplies to the ISS???? Just plain STUPID. And the astronauts agree. Heard some really good interviews with some of them yesterday. Already appx. 30,000 lay-offs...about 6000 more to go....and then NASA will "focus" on asteroids and Mars exploration??? Give me break. It's worse than stupid....it's insane. JMHO. Thanks for listening.
Still gray, gloomy, rainy here, but the lightning has subsided, thankfully.
LORI, elated to tune in here and find word from you---glad the Pastor is there with you and your Dad ! Praying non-stop. Will be lurking here for more word on Nancy's welfare.
Rejoicing in the beautiful launch and just as bummed by the end of this era as many of you are. A very short sighted decision IMHO !
From the zoo: Mei Xiang continues to keep us guessing. Last week we saw her hormones decreasing and her activity increasing. With no evidence of a fetus on the daily ultrasounds, we were beginning to await the end of a pseudopregnancy. However, during the past two days she has remained in her den, eating very little, cradling her toys, and body licking. She has not given us a urine sample to check for hormones or been willing to participate in ultrasound, so we can’t confirm what this behavior means.

Thank you, Steve.
Andy, I sure hope this job will work out. You have earned something positive.
Lynn, sorry about SIL. Hope he won't have much discomfort. Cannot imagine having 7 teeth pulled at the same time.
Learn cursive? r u nuts? y?
Wanda, so glad GG is using and enjoying her wheelie chair.
Nice that MM's surgery went well enough she is comfortable going home.
FINALLY......got same thing even after rebooting...
Andy, check with Sissy or Sharon about what they think you should charge! Good luck with interview!
Cursive takes less energy and time than printing IMO!
Liesl is being a wild child---running through the house in circles...SO funny to watch!
Oh-oh...possible lightening strike at launch pad......MTBR.
LYNN, I see you were finally able to post. I this works for me I'll head to the old thread to catch up with today's post. Back soon !
I just announced there is a new thread on the old thread....
think it snuck up on us !
Good Evening Eagle Pals...
looks like some weather moving in here around Martinsburg, also.
Thanks for the new thread, Steve...
Headin out the door for dinner at Angies
I tried to see Hoda's video
blank screen both here and at work
now I have a Black square and waiting for it to roll
sooner or later, I hope...
Good report about Mary Margy and those beautiful eyes of hers...thanks for the information Lynn...
Did anyone hear the clunk? The same time like yesterday I do believe...no shaking of camera this time though
I did not Hoda, because I didn't have live feed up yet
but I do NOW
Hello, by the way
Hi Margy...I am sorry you could not get the little video I posted yesterday to work.It is only fifteen seconds...how are you and do you think the shuttle will take off on time...I am concerned due to the weather reports.
Storm heading this way from Paw Paw....thundering now. Temp dropping...I may have to shut down...

BLOGGER COP WOULDN'T ALLOW ME TO ANNOUNCE A NEW THREAD ON THE OLD ONE!!! SORRY:(
my live feed is sort of stopping and starting, but I do have sound
The Dinosaur, surprises me every day
have you ever had sound on the new laptop yet Shirley ?
LYNN, sad story about the Grizzly attack, but she was just doing the natural thing. We have to be aware of the risks when we venture into the wild.
Wanda!
Your Credit is Good! Not to worry !!!
I just "punched in" when I got home and that is how I knew...
A lightning strike occurred within 1/3 mile of the shuttle Atlantis launch pad midday today. No damage was reported, however, technicians are doing a thorough check to make sure.
The rest of the story.....
Casey wants....
You are our Shuttle Eyes
Lynn
Thanks
Oh, thank you Margy...bad credit is unacceptable!
Bear Mauling
Hi,
I had problems with the blogger cop earlier, too. Got a "conflicting edits" when I posted on the other thread.
LYNN and KAY I read at CBS that they are NOT going to hunt down the grizzly. It is in the back country. They closed off the area for hikers and will not take further action to hunt her down.

Sounds like storm passed us by....one heading your way, Jo.
LYNN so sorry I just now got your message about not being able to post. I am glad you got through.
Ha, all of a sudden the sound came on, nothing but wind, gale like wind ! Wonder what makes the sound kick in and out the way it does?
How right you are, Kay!
Hoda, tragic story of your local dr. and his wife.
Lynn
I intended to comment earlier about your post regarding Loch of the Lowe's nest and the egg removal
thanks for the information
amazing the eggs were in good shape,
will be interesting to hear about any of the findings
wonder what next year will bring....
guess bad weather could well have been a factor there this year
among other things
:(
have some things to do
will try to be back later
Best wishes for a Good Evening, Everyone....
xoxo
You're welcome, Margy. All looked well at Finney 2 and FinFerry today, too.
Sofa time...BBL.
Hello all you beautiful people. I'm alive and well just not very talkative and lurk a lot.
WELCOME RED!!! Good to read your words and hope all is well with you.
Hey Andy...check with Shron, I think she gets paid by the word!
Have had some clouds here, noting but a few drops.
Nick did great at the vets...they loved him. All is good, got some shots tonight, more in a couple of days, then he should be good to go.
I see the straw in the nest tonight...thought it was just a stick the other night.
Gotta get caught up on this thread now...
Hi Red!
Good to see you on here. You should join us more often. We miss you.
Howdy Red!
By golly it's raining. No thunder or lightening, just rain. Guess the walk will have to wait a bit.
Thanks for a new thread, Steve. Now to check if any birds visited the lovely green nest foliage!!
RED, we've been missing you ! Beautiful avatar. Please don't be a stranger !
Regarding Ms. Anthony in court this morning: you were watching a psychopath's behaviors.
Paula, so glad Nick did well at the vet. How could they not love him?
Better Liesl be a wild child than chewing the furniture.
Sorry for the humans but pleased the grizzly will be left to raise her cubs.
By golly, Miss Judie, there is not a word in your post that I do not agree with ! ☺
It has rained on and off all day and is raining now
Judie
I just re-read your post about learning cursive
reminded me of a sign at a church I saw recently:
U want 2 C Jesus?
Text and Drive
Good Nick Report, Paula ☺
Bet the Vets are so very happy for you both !
about those Sycamore leaves...
We've had them IN the nest before, but not so much AT the nest like this year
I would guess one reason would be from the limb-trimming last fall
they really ARE beautiful leaves
Hey, Red!!! Good to see you. Are you feeling okay?? Is the summer heat and humidity causing you trouble? Don't be a stranger!
We don't bite!!
Holy Smokes, Lynn
7, and the last of the teeth!
that's hard to imagine ! OUCH!
Nice, Eagle up close and personal on Andy's avatar...
she Must be excited about this new job prospect
thanks for the Finney1 and Fin-Ferry news, Lynn
I am just wanting to SEE a food delivery at Finney1
No rain here that I know of yet!
Report is that on FRI., DC will have 70% chance of rain. If so, I'll take a pic!!!
At Chelsea yesterday, part of the weeping willow tree broke off probably due to Sunday's storm. Not TOO close to where we park, but always checking.
Tomorrow:
RED FRIDAY
speaking of RED, Hello Red, good to see you, and that picture as your avatar is spectacular xo
"no grown up tv at all today" Judy
That is cute
Lynn--only comment about SIL's dental appt---ICK!
I've never called my reg. dentist about my stump. It's just fine! He'll see it when I go for cleaning & I'll wear my knee brace so I can dash to the door!
Aha!!!! Casey IS going to be on probation and can't leave Orange Co. without permission from the court. Texas Equusearch is filing civil charges to recoup their expenses, along with the state/county, and don't forget that Zenaida Gonzalez's suit was on hold until after the trial, so it will go forward.
Big Giant-Sized Prayers for Lori, her mother Nancy and all the family and doctors and health-care team for the surgery in the morning
(( We're with you Lori ♥ ))
light on colors gone from nest

Storm did come by and it was really just
lots and lots of beautiful rain!
Just trying to get back into the every
day life here at home - It was a
beautiful and relaxing time down at the summer home.
Seems like all of you have a good fourth. I'll never be able to read back
so I will just move forward. ♥
Good Evening Friends.
Home from Colorado...unpacked and washing clothes.
I had a wonderful time in many different ways.
Tomorrow I'll have to try and catch up on mail.
Bad about the bear attack and the lost of the man. She was only protecting her cubs.
Lolly made it up to "snow" Loveland Pass elevation is 11,990 ft. Daughter and me had a snow ball batter there. My breathing there was pretty bad.
battle
The sandperson is again loitering just outside the door.
The night light is set for 11:00pm for anyone who may need to arise in the dark or will be arriving late from the West coast. Restful sleep for all and a special prayer for Lori's Mom.
Judie rest well

Miss you guys! If it's not too terribly busy at work tomorrow, I'll try to pop in!
Good night and please know my prayers are always with you, even if I am not!
LorettaSorry about the Mom eagle being taken by the GHO. Hope the chicks do well.
Prayers for Kate's surgery at

Prayers for Lori and her Mother.
Going to go put feet up.

thunder a'rumblin hereabouts
Good Night to those heading for the pillows soon
Lori, prayers for you and your whole family. And special blessings for your mother.
♥L♥I♥B♥E♥R♥T♥Y !!!!!!!
Welcome home WV_GAL DANA. I am glad you had a great trip and that you went to the mountains to see snow.
Lynne 2 how was Steve at the dentist? I hope it all went well.
Thunder storms here tonight and Dragon Boat paddling was cancelled.
Paula it is good that Nick got along well at the vets and that he did not mind his shots. Did they remove the stitches?
Another storm in the area...Carolyn says it is heading her way from the south...I hear thunder and see lightening at the nest...
Welcome Home Jo and how grand it is that you had such a wonderful relaxing time at your summer home. It will be good to hear from you more often now that you are not on dial up...
Go figure, Shirley.....HLN and CNN are sister stations, and many cross-over reporters...you'd think they would get their stories to jive!
Jo, glad you popped in!
Glad you made it home, Dana.
Officials have recalculated Casey Anthony's release date. It has been changed to Sunday, July 17.
Didn't watch HLN much today, Lynn, so I missed that one.
Welcome home, Jo and Dana.
Lightening pretty widely here now, and thunder getting closer. No wind or rain yet.
Hoda, sorry you got rained out. Bet your temps didn't get as high as predicted, huh?
Ho-ho-ho! Every additional day is GOOD!!!
Think I better shut down to be safe. And I have retiree breakfast in the morning, so up VERY early.
Sleep tight, be safe, and know that you all are held in prayer.
I see your storms on radar, Lynn. They have gotten more intense as they have moved your way.
I'm getting ready to rest my weary head on my pillows. Glad you are home safe & sound Dana! Hope you made many memories.
Peace and Love to all of you
Prayers for our friends and families & may the Good Lord protect you all.
Hugs To All ♥♥♥♥♥♥
Rest well, Lynn and Jo, and others heading to bed, including Judie who signed off awhile ago.
I worked harder than usual today, and I am tired. I'll see you tomorrow. Good night.
lightning, thunder and rain in Martinsburg
Soooo good to see your Hearts again, Jo
Good Night Everyone, Before and AFTER this post

Good Evening, Everyone!
Good Night Andrea...wow you got her before midnight!
Hoda - "Sooner or later"
has arrived - I just viewed your video
Very Nice!!
Storm went straight from Martinsburg to NCTC - like an instant replay
ttfn Good Night xoxo
that would be, got HERE before midnight, Andy ☺
Pleasant Feather Dreams to all ;>)
Just finished picking the crabs, came upstairs and can hear the storm at the nest...and see the lightening...pretty cool looking!
(((Hugs for all♥)))
Would you believe we just got home?! LOL At least there was no traffic coming through Ft. Worth.
Heading to bed. Will read the blog in the morning.
Meatballs were a GREAT hit with the boys!
Nite All! Sweet dreams!
Good morning, Early Birds!!☺
Good Morning Everybody ! Looks like I'm the first one on within daylight hours. Have to hope our nest residents have not already come and gone.
Mega-prayers for LORI's mom, Nancy as today is the day for her life saving surgery.
JO and WVDANA are back at their home roosts safe and sound. Yeah !
LOLLY and JACK now snoozing away after returning from Laurel's home in the wee small hours of the morning. The boys liked the meatballs ? Alright ! Bring that recipe on--there are other grandsons who may love them, too !
Morning Kay, I just got up...
Oh, my, LORETTA ! Prayers for your friend Danny, too. It's amazing that he's alive after such a chain of events.
LORI, LORI, LORI, I miss you so, both here and on the raid-dee-ooo♪♪
LYNNE, I missed out on the reason why you're extra busy and haven't been with us a lot for a couple of days. I miss getting your read on current events and animal matters ! Hope you'll soon have more free time.
DANAMO, hello ! Happy to have some company ! What's new for you, the dogs, the kids ???
The diet-yuck! LOL! Nothing new here.
Actually I'm ready to go back to school. Isn't that awful...I'm bored.
What operation is Lori's mom having today? I missed that, I'm not good about reading back on the blog, it's too hard or I'm too lazy...
Good Morning!!! YES I AM UP!!! Or should I say OH NO I AM UP!!! Don't know why!!! I thought Eagles so I came here...No show yet from what I can gather...KAY I like your words to Lori about the radio...LOL!!!
LOL, you sound like my kids in the days of old or my grandkids today. They eagler awaited summer vacation and then expressing boredom by mid-July !
Color, gLORIous Color at the nest !
Color but no eagles. :(
Morning Hoda!
HODA, you're up sooo early, but I'm glad you came here right away. Yep, true sign of an eagle addict !
DANA, you mention "the diet". Do you now fit into the dress you bought for a wedding ?
It doesn't look like there is breath of air at the nest. I keep checking to be sure the cam is still running because there isn't a hint of movement.
Yeah...Hoda, you would think 3 dogs and 4 kids would keep me busy! My kids all have crazy schedules and leave me behind!
The leaf towrds us yellow in tone, barely moves. I had to look very carefully when I read your comment Kay...camera just stopped at the 14:45 mark and now again no movement...oh there a big gust of air...
Oh, oh, where is Kelly Ripa and her Tide stick when you need her ? I just sloshed a bit of this delicious SSCC coffee on my night shirt. :(
DANA, what is the essense of The Cinch diet ? I haven't heard of that one !
It does look very wet at the nest , thanks for the weather conditions Dana Mo...
Wow your household sounds busy with the kids and the dogs...enjoy the holiday, you earned it...
Ah, now there is anice little breeze ! Come on in Belle and Truder, your digs look quite comfortable !
The background to the nest looks very misty.
I hope the coffee does not stain Kay...
RED FRIDAY alert for those of you going out and about today ! God bless our USA and Canadian troops as they serve around the world !
Be back in a minute, going to step outside and see if my new grass needs to be watered or if the storm was enough last night.
Thanks HODA. I do have a pre-laundry stain remover in the laundry room. I'll soak this stain good and believe it will come out.
The diet sounds good DanaMo. Good luck with it.
I second the motion on Blessing the US and Canadian troops. You all do so much more than us though and so I always say a special prayer for your troops over seas.
Kay do you still have family in Arizona? What did they say about the dust storms that they had recently? Were they affected by the fires?
Oh, and when I do hear back from them I'll be sure to let you know. Thanks for asking !
That dust storm was amazing...I've never seen anything like it, it must have been crazy to be in it.
Yes, I am sick of those 5 foods. I have never eaten so much spinach in my life. And yogurt, urgh!
I wished Belle and Truder would show up...
OH,oh, sudden storm hitting Columbus, lightning, thunder and a downpour. Must sign off for now !
HAGD everyone ! ♥♥♥
Good Morning, Red Friday that is...Eagle Pals
That would be DanaMo, Kay, and Hoda So far, and Lori, no doubt, in spirit !
was afraid I might miss Kay before I got all the typos out of my post !
Enjoy your Sat-Sun Seth visit Kay !
xoxo ♥
I like all of those five foods, Dana
How are fixing the spinach?
I love yogurt, but to have make myself go for it sometimes
great food to have at work
try to have two a day
Dannon and YoPlait are my favorites
and of the Greek yogurts
I wonder what the weather is like and will there ba a SHUTTLE launch today...have you heard?
Read Loretta's late-night Post...
Oh Loretta, prayers for Danny and your friend, and hope that the next doctor is on the medical ball !!
Close call...what is Danny's age?
The Eagles might have been self-conscious about a wet and soggy appearance this morning and decided to preserve their vanity instead of giving us a visit !
not sure yet Hoda, I will go check the web-Tv link in a minute or two
when I first starting eating yogurt, in 1970 - it was very difficult to find it in the grocery stores, and few containers of Dannon and that was IT !
Now...so many choices
I also had a culture and made it for several years, could make any flavor I wanted to then
As Lynn posted Thursday, a trained staff tree-climber removed the eggs from Loch of the Lowe's nest...
after they observed that the Ospreys had pretty much stopped incubating the eggs, and had been observed dropping vegetative matter on the eggs
The climber had to look pretty hard for the eggs but did locate and remove them, they will be examined for research
I have been watching the nest a little this morning,
Rather sad as the Adults seem to be looking for them
and also , doing nestorations
T-minus three hours and holding
on the launch
weather is still a concern
30% chance for favorable weather-launch conditions
everything all fueled up and ready as it would be if they get a "go"
Hedgie
know you have your early morning Retirees' breakfast...
hope you can get back to keep an eye on things
I will have to try to watch from work
but my main concern of the morning is
Prayers for Lori's Mom's Nancy's surgery scheduled for 0900
things are probably in motion NOW on the preparations
Prayers for You, Lori, and all the family
(( HUGS ♥ ))
XO
OK Thanks Margy for the weather report for NASA.
I take it that it is a no show for Miss Belle and Truder so I am going to give my bed another go... See you in a few hours.
for the computer for NASA:
NASA TV
Ok Hoda..
enjoy the rest of your snooze
Welcome back Late Night Lolly !
and
Paula:

Is Nick going along ??
Bet he is !
must run along now...get ready for work:
Best Wishes for a Good, Safe, Healthy and Joyful Day, Everyone
God Bless Our Military !

Okay...see you all later.
Good morning eagle peeps.
WOW I had almost 5" of rain in my rain gauge no wonder my road was a river Its drained down now and is still raining but not as hard Good mornin THELMA I think everyone has flown the coupe almost a hours since last post
Funny thing I am on the opposite side of the state as the launch and its a go for the launch and we are flooded
Morning all.
Lots of rain there JudyE. When I lived in se TX I remember those rain storms. A little rumbling here today but not much rain.
Will be thinking of Lori and her Mom down in the Burg today.
I could follow that cinch diet--if bread was added. Good bread is my downfall.
No eagle sighting just now, but there is a breeze......
Good morning,
I have been reading the blog and watching the pre-launch activities this morning.
I see that Judy. Stay safe today.
Good morning, everyone.
Thinking of Lori's mom. I'm sure the surgery will go well.
Wishing a lovely day for all.
Thoughts and prayers for Lori and her family this morning for sure.
Good morning, Judie.
Hi, Thelma.
Good morning my eagle budlets.
Good morning, Sharon!
Good Friday Morning - I am watching the
NASA broadcast of the Space Shuttle and have a little less then 9 minutes.
I haven't read comments yet - will do so
a little later.
Thoughts to Lori and family for her mom's surgery.
TTUL
GOOD MORNING...
Looks like I didn't post a GOOD NIGHT message last night. I tried several times and I actually fell asleep 2 or 3 times while I was attempting...I would look at the screen to see what I wrote and would have a series of NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN or something similar. So I must have given up!:)
Our truck with our Food Pantry rations, broke down somewhere near Morgantown and didn't get into town til 8pm, last evening.
Good Morning Friends and Lurkers.
Caught up on Thusday thread.
Prayers for Lori's Mothers surgery.
Lynn SIL 7 teeth pulled hope
he is not in too much pain.
Doctor told Mom to get
rid of those things. Before this
kid really breaks something. He
told her how bad sprains and
re-occuring sprains were.
Red I like your avatar.
LorettaGlad the tree did
not due any damage. Yes Loretta
will add Danny and family to
prayer list. Hope things go well with the Osprey.
JudyE I love your ending
"Be kinder than necessary, for
everyone is fighting some kind
of battle".
Mema Jo I think I got
where you made it safely home
on Wednesday. Nice to go away
but nice to be home too ( :
I'll be one day following you.
PaulaWhat did Nick have a
stitch for?
Andy This Dr.whose office
is called the Hernai Clinic. It
sounds more "honest" than that
other. Good Luck!
You made it home in time to witness
this! Good! I have butterflies in my
stomach! Like you said though - Sad to see all this end .. :(
Hi all, still waiting for mom to go to surgery. Doc said they will put in a stent and do tests on the valves so they know how to proceed with them. Thank you so much for the prayers.
I will update after the surgery. Dad and the Pastor are here too.
Lori,
Thanks for getting in touch. We are thinking of you. Prayers for you and all of your loved ones.
Ok thanks for information Lori.
Hedgie-Lynn what is the site you are watching launch on????????
Oh I got it just went where Casey's trial was.
Watching now ....
Lori Hope you feel all the love we are sending to you! Be Strong and Keep the Faith. ♥
Mema Jo that was good to Lori I think from all of us. I could not have said it better. Thank you ( :
I am watching the launch too! :)
Some kind of failure at 31 seconds.
Resuming now.
Here we gooooooooooooooo !
Beautiful launch....tho' so bittersweet. Godspeed, Atlantis.
I still get skeered.
It is always sad to see an era end..
and what a fantastic era it was.
God's speed with you Atlantis!
Yes, Sharon - there is always that fear of something going wrong. I feel it when
there is a lift off as well as when the
Touch down when they come home.
Watching from link Margy put on. ty Margy. Shaon I know I too get worried.
Of course always feel best when they are home safely.
Beautiful launch! Hunter watched it with me.
Hi
missed the launch because a computer system here at work was snaggled up
saw some of the replays on the computer
also read your posts
wonderful isn't it ?
will check back later
watch out
SPLIT is coming !
Or is it HERE ???
xo
I just can't wrap my mind around how after all these years and accomplishments and expense, the program can just be abandoned.....and these stupid pols are going to let our astronauts depend on Russia and India to transport them and supplies to the ISS???? Just plain STUPID. And the astronauts agree. Heard some really good interviews with some of them yesterday. Already appx. 30,000 lay-offs...about 6000 more to go....and then NASA will "focus" on asteroids and Mars exploration??? Give me break. It's worse than stupid....it's insane. JMHO. Thanks for listening.
Hedgie-Lynn I just don't know where America's future is going???
Still gray, gloomy, rainy here, but the lightning has subsided, thankfully.
LORI, elated to tune in here and find word from you---glad the Pastor is there with you and your Dad ! Praying non-stop. Will be lurking here for more word on Nancy's welfare.
Rejoicing in the beautiful launch and just as bummed by the end of this era as many of you are. A very short sighted decision IMHO !
Mei is giving all of us a 'guessing
game'. Are we going to get that baby
Panda ! I really really hope so!
From the zoo:
Mei Xiang continues to keep us guessing.
MTBR for sure. Keep paws crossed!
