Thank you everyone! I just got up from a nice nap. I appreciate all the kind words and all the helpful suggestions. I'm too scared not to do something about it. Since last night was the first night on the new medicine I feel like I need to give it a chance. Maybe I will feel better in a few days.
I'm paying the pet sitter $300. for 8 nights. About $30. per day and he said that was fine.
Kay, I do worry about the pool, but he is 20 years old and not sure I could stop him from going in alone. I just reminded him to be careful and I know his mom is aware of the pool and his uncle who is our Maintenance Supervisor at my school. I've known Tom since they were in 2nd grade and believe he is a smart kid with a good head on his shoulders. I have friends too who will probably be stopping around to check on things.

Well I am back and thanks for liking the Moonbow link.
In the morning paddling I saw two osprey and I think there must be a nest somewhere there...did not see it.
Very good paddle and twice in the drills I ended up by being the stroke and that means others pick up the rhythm form me and my partner on the seet. We worked well together and they all made complimentary comments. I felt pleased that it went well, the pace was right and the rhythm too. I enjoyed it.We had a guest from Montana in the Dragon Boat a friend of one of the peddlers. She enjoyed it she said.
We sold everything on the Grans table before the last shift was to start. It is amazing to me how supportive people are to the fight against AIDS.I would say we made around eight hundered dollars, but the official count was not in. No overhead costs. I think it is pretty good for baked goods and preserves.
Yoga practice also went well and there was a woman from Washington in class vary pleasant, a yoga teacher on holidays.
Americans are very polite drivers. Twice today as I came to a crossroads there was an American car, Oregon and Idaho, and they stopped both times to let me cross...sweet.
Where can I see the picture of the morning visit LYNN. I am curious as to the description of Truder. JUDYE I take it I can see the visit at six on FB? I wonder about shadows and the lighting for the morning visit what was happening...Thanks I hope you can tell me where to find the picture of the morning visit.

Went to Agustin and picked up my new glasses, then went shopping...got GG a new blouse and slacks, Gene got 3 pairs of pants, and I got a shirt with an eagle on it and then all sorts of wild animals, clean down to my belly button:) Will wear it to our next nest visit. Can't shop very much anymore unless I have a shopping cart to hold onto. Shopped til I (almost dropped)! Had a nice dinner and reminisced about our teen years and how we would visit Hagerstown, IF, we had 20¢ toll to cross the Williamsport bridge and 25¢ for gas. Oh, what fun years those were:)

Well it just ate my last post. Thank you JUDYE for the picture. I got it...The dark on the side and the front on the head I have seen on Truder before. The two dark dents in the back I had not observed before. He might be younger in age than I thought he was.It all depends on the dry/wet combination the direction of the wind, and so on...
I will go check on the Osprey MARGY...too occupied by Truder's markings...
I hope it does not eat it this time...

Truder looked very dry this morning when I saw him...
it just seemed, maybe, that he was maturing and the x-spot was getting itself squared away so to speak
but it was pretty hard to tell with him moving mostly around under the leaves
so if I caused any confusion,
I apologize for that...it was just an unusual appearance

if you scroll down from the nest cam you will see that
as you probably already have...
adult there tonight very quiet, and not even approaching what I guess is the chick at the "top" portion of the nest

I see the back side of the adult osprey Margy and I do not see the cup as it is under its tail...The heading says that only one is left...three eggs, but now only one chick. She had two, but you told me it happened the night of the sixth or the seventh of July. Did the one remaining look dead to you as it was not moving??? It is raining over there...I love the sound of the birds...

I see what is at the top portion of the nest and certainly not moving...I was hoping that it might still be in the cup area and I was not sure what I was looking at at the top of the nest...

something is wrong with it, it is hard to discern its body structure even; it is distorted;
something has happened
and I am pretty certain that site will have an update on it
The adult osprey is eating from the fish in its claw. I am sure there will be an update as the adult is not even approaching the chick and the cup area is now exposed and there is nothing in it...The web cams have taught me how fragile the life cycle is for the birds...this is why they are so very precious...sad story here too it seems.

I was very concerned about FinneyOne for awhile, seemed like something was terribly wrong with the left talon (the one with the band) of the Female, she was standing one-legged just about every time I looked, and the talon looked swollen
but all that seems to be okay now
and as far as I can tell the chicks are thriving, but it is hard to count heads there sometimes

Sorry, JMO---I just think it's a misuse of public service. If people were sent a bill for this kind of stuff it would amount to a lot more than the cost of a seat belt!

LOLLY, I just love that you love Bip so much. That's very special. I had a second mother I knew my entire life until she passed from Non Hodgkins Lymphoma last year.
Leaving to be with the real Mom in the morning. She has to be at the hospital at 5 on MONDAY morning. Good thing I'm used to waking up early!
I've got a hotel near the hospital in Pittsburgh for Monday - Wednesday nights so I can be close and they have an hourly shuttle to the hospital. YEAH! Mom wants me to stay with her, but I can't while she's in CICU. Even so, just having a place to go, nap, and shower will be so nice. I'll be sure to keep you all posted, but I really have great confidence all will turn out well...thanks to all the stories from JUDIE and KAY, and the many wonderful prayers. THANK YOU! It means so much. I remember times with Perry that I could feel the prayers lifting us up beyond the cancer and chaos. It was amazing.

I don't keep the Kootenay osprey nest cam on as I am finding it rather sad. It is true the adult is back to eating on the fish...it looks soaked and I am assigning it the word disoriented when it is not eating. The wild life centre is closed on Sunday so I left a message on their answering machine...I hope someone checks in on the cam and learns that the chick is dead...I was wondering if they would remove it...

Don't know where my mind is at...I forgot to tell you that Gene's friend (I have never met him) and sometime boss, had his by-pass surgery yesterday and is doing well. They are going to get him up and walk a bit tomorrow...ooohhhh!

I had been using my camera to do pictures from the screen, but just downloaded IrfanView on my new computer. I had it on the school computer. It works well for still screen grabs.
I JUST SCREEN GRAB RIGHT CLICK AND SAVE PICTURE TO MY COMPUTER BUT i SET UP A TRIPOD AND MY DIGITAL CAMERA FOR THE VIDEO
NO WE LOST SOUND LAST NIGHT AND HAS NOT CAME BACK
