Norma - are you planning to drive to Shepherdstown for the Open House on Saturday and also have dinner and then drive back home to Romney Sunday am in order to catch the 10:00 train?
I promise I will go to the Dr. if I don't get better- on Monday- I have been thru this many times before- it is becoming a chronic prob with me- I just finished 10 days worth of meds 2 weeks ago for a sinus infection- but- my reality right now is no health ins. so they want to run tests and I say no way, I'd be paying those big bills forever.... just give me some pills..
Here you go Norma I brought it over for you: normabyrd said... Talked with POTOMAC EAGLE FOLKS!!----changed tickets for 10:00 am!--JO--will send that extra ticket to you & you can give it to someone!!!---
TOLD me:--to make sure you get on the RIVER or EAGLE SIDE---says: TO BOARD the train on the side next to the ROAD--(RT. 28)---------There is an OPEN CAR---can't stay on it when train is moving!!!----TRAIN will stop---allows passengers to get off & look around, etc.---ONE CAR with sides open---you can ride on it when train is moving!!!----can bring a picinic basket or can buy sandwiches, etc. on train!!
JO!---I'm sorry---I thought you understood that!!----THAT'S WHAT I PLAN TO DO!!---Remember last time I couldn't get a ticket & didn't know that ANNE had purchased one for me!!----I sent it back to her--she returned to me & it DISAPPEARED INTO THE "BIG HOLE ON NORMA'S TABLE"!!----(lost it)---That is the ticket that I am talking about----please don't make me repeat it----ho!----KIDDIN'---It really belongs to ANNE MARIE!!!
You can only ride in the open car when they go thru the 'trough'- it is cool- only holds so many people, and they make an announcement when you can board it and then you have to ge to the front of the train because it fills up fast- basically two opportunities to ride in it during the trip- I would have ridden in it the whole time of they let ya. The other open car has open windows but no seats, Anne and I were in that car for a while on the way back. I like it the best BUT has no seats..
NORMA I just wanted to hear you say that you were planning to be at the OPEN HOUSE on Saturday PLUS going on the Train ride on Sunday... Anne Marie will be with you on that train! You'll love it
Sissy - Paula's mother has been in hospital and Paula & her brother are planning to move her into a Nursing home. They couldn't move when we last heard due to the emphysema acting up.
Rain drops are starting here in the valley. I better get into that kitchen like I said I was going to do.... You can tell after all these years I have had enough of the kitchen.... lol
We haven't been able to move Mom into a nursing home yet, we were hoping that was today, but today she has taken a turn for the worse. She is in the ICU unit...she has emphysema and has problems breathing. So hopefully this is the bump in the road she has to go over to get better. I have to go to work for a couple of hours in the morning, then I will be back at the hospital. I hope to be home again Friday night, I'll try to check in and say hello.
Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers, and thank you for yours.
Megan, sorry you aren't back up to par. Sinus infections can be so nasty...get that medicine sooner rather than later! Thinking about Paula, too...hope that things are better today with her mom. Hi ya', Vicki!! How's everything in your world? Raining here, but not much. Looks like Texas is really in for a bad one.
Tom's mom came home Wednesday. She is tickled to death to be home. Now we get to start the process of begging for help again. But we are really glad she is home.
Sissy, that's good news...sure that everyone is much relieved. Hope you get the help you need! Yes, Mits, heard about that...once they start messing with the traffic patterns, problems always ensue. Wow, beautiful Finney nest occupant(s)--can't tell if it's one or two!
Thanks, the only bad part about that article is that is says it is for adults. It should be an all ages event, I know a lot of younger teens who wanted to go.
It would be great if the younger teens (18 & under) could organize a fund raiser for Mason.. Local music groups would probably help them out or even the school bands or jazz ensembles could participate at an hour more appropriate to the teens' ages then the Clarion event. Great project for someone who needs to do community service for graduation credits.......
I have a yard full of tree trimmers today. My Crazy neighbor planted pine trees under the power line a few years ago. Power company is cutting them down today and I'll be happy to see the them go. Grass will not grow under them because of the needles falling
Thanks, Steve:) Hello Jim:) cam is frozen in time- keeps updating the same pics over and over from this mornings eagle visit. Raining here and at the nest now, nice rainy day here, yes there is such a thing as a nice rainy day. The hummingbirds are loving it!
You know, Megan, you rarely see Hummingbirds drinking or bathing in water around So Cal ... except during a good, steady, light to medium rain.
But years ago I saw a Nature Program on TV on Hummingbirds. And they originated in the Amazon jungles, and they love the mists and rains in the jungle. They even had some shots of H. B.'s bathing in small streams.
Yup - Belle pulled me right in with the joke....here I was counting the left, rights, left, rights and wondering when Liberty was going to show up with Bacon for Breakfast ...
STEVE - OTHERS HAD SAID EARLER THAT IF ITS GOING TO BE STUCK, LET IT BE STUCK WITH AN EAGLE ON IT... SO, IT COULD BE WORSE!
Yeah, Jim- the other day in the rain I watched a female hummer sit on a branch and groom herself in the pouring rain-she seemd to love it. They are always real active here when it is raining. But you are right, I have never seen one near my birdbath.
Thank you Steven for popping in to let us know about Keith's project. ( :
Jim I had water in a second hummingbird feeder. Every near the other one with the sweet (sugar) mix in it. One day we caught them drinking out of the water on a lot. Was surprising to us...tried it they like it lol
Only have mix one up now...other one started leaking. It was old.
I've thought about giving the Hummers a feeder with water during the hot weather, but so far I haven't done it.
Where I grew up on the coast north of San Diego, it was very dry in the warm months.
We did have some beautiful Hummers, but the numbers were not high. We neither fed or watered the birds, but some of our flowering plants were well used by them.
One day I happened to be on the front porch and looking in the right direction to see a female Hummer round the corner of the house ... probably coming from the Bougainvillea ... heading for the Gladiolas.
...We had a slow leak in a faucet attached to a garden hose, and rather than let it drain onto a nearby path, I had put the end of the hose into a bucket near the corner of the house; and the bucket had slowly filled to the brim with clear water.
Well, the little bird saw the water, flew by, stopped, went back to it and checked it thoroughly. Then she took a good long drink of water, and she must have liked it, because she returned every day for awhile.
Eventually one of the parents got after me to fix that faucet, and that was the end of that water source for the Hummers. They seem to like it as clear as possible or they won't muck around in it ... no birdbaths with other birds using them.
I think I have seen the Hummers playing in sprinklers from time to time, especially the mister variety.
I don't know if you read it earlier, but here's a short take from the update on Nethy and Dashar...
"Posted on Friday, 12 Sep 2008 at 2.08 pm
Still no movement from either of the birds - or should I quantify that by saying no SIGNIFICANT movement. There is obviously a lack of sunshine in the Fairford area as Nethy's transmitter battery is quite low, thankfully we are still getting some data from it and it does show that she is still flying up and down the river - however, we are not getting hourly signals as expected. Deshar's transmitter is a little bit better and shows him around the lake as usual.
The general concensus is that the birds will go over the weekend when the weather improves - I do hope so.
Here's the report on Mom. She has pneumonia. She is in the ICU unit at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD.
They had to put her on a ventilator on Thursday morning. They had tried a regular rebreather mask w/ 100% oxygen, then they went to a CPAP mask which forces the air into the lungs. She still wasn't getting enough O2, so they put her on the vent.
She improved a little bit last night, and some more today. They have her sedated and are giving her antibiotics and working on stabilizing her BP. We are just hoping for small improvements each day.
When she wakes up, for about 30 minutes or so once or twice per day, I am able to talk to her and comfort her and let her know she is doing better each day. It's been touchy and will be for the next couple of days, until they can get her more stable. But right now, she is improving a little bit each day, and I am thankful for that.
I can't thank you enough, my friends, for your thoughts and prayers for my Mom and my family.
GOOD EVENING ALL... I have been busy with appointments today and it has been a good day. GeeGee's doctor has told me that there are some other things that can be done for her pain, but I suspect a little risky. We will talk to him in a few weeks. He gave her a new knee (cortisone shot) and she is feeling no pain there now.
Paula, I'm glad your Mom is improving, even though it is only a little. She'll be up and around before you know it. Take care of yourself so that you don't come down with something.
RED, I see that you like JOHN GRISHAM books. I have a copy of THE PAINTED HOUSE, which I will read next month inbetween customers in my shop. Have you read it? I know Paula likes Grisham books also.
JO, that is good to know...that it is a fast read. I get impatient with books that are too long and drawn out. I love to read when the shop is slow...it makes time go faster.
MEGAN, you are eating CHICKEN SOUP aren't you? Take care and do see the doctor if you aren't better Monday. I know what you mean about no insurance. When Capt Gene was forced to retire due to the store he worked in closing, we had no insurance and I was petrified every time I or he sneezed or coughed, for fear we would have to go to the doctor. Medicare is a wonderful benifit of retirement if you are 65.
Thanks all for your thoughts, they really do mean a lot.
Funny you should mention Grisham. We sent Mom to the hospital with "The Appeal", but she can't have it in ICU, so I snagged it and read just a little in ICU.
Wanda - Is GG having back pain again? Or is it the knee?
When I got home from dinner this evening and saw Belle still in the nest, I thought, "OH NO, SHE MUST HAVE A BROKEN WING". Glad it is a frozen-loopy cam and not a problem with her.
Wanda, I just ste my chicken soup- but now I have chocolate ice cream...I willl head to the Dr on Monday- yeah- no insurance is a scary thing. Dana- we saw a hummer yesterday that was the fattest I have ever seen, lots of migrating hummers now, they will stop at feeders along their way.
Paula, GeeGee's pain has never completely gone away. It feels good right after she has a shot, but comes back after a few days. It would be my guess that they shoot some anesthetic in her and it wears off, only to leave her in pain again. Her knee had become a secondary pain, which made it so painful for her to walk, what with back and knee pain. I am hopeful the knee pain will stay away for 3 or 4 months...the shots work pretty well for me.
24 yr old grandson just got his first of 3 cortisone shots for his back. Dr told him he should have surgery but insurance co wants the shots tried first. He has been off work for about 3 months - but they are holding his job Thank Goodness.
So young to be having that kind of pain. Hope the shots work for him. If surgery would work for my Mom, she would do it in a minute. That could be one of the options her doctor was speaking of today. I would be so fearful of surgery at her age. She is very fragile right now.
I know what you are saying about GeeGee being fragile for surgery. I would hope the Dr will be considering that when he offers options.
Granddaughter had surgery after having the series of shots. Both from the same family - There build is tall and broad shouldered. Their maternal grandfather also had back problems that ended up with surgery.
I think the school's mascot where Belle Baker teaches is an eagle. Someone else on here talked about an eagle mascot costume.... I thought it was Sharon or Sissy but they are the Beavers..
Wanda, what store did Gene work in? Paula, know that many prayers have been and are sent for your mom. Megan, remember that chicken soup is good for the soul, too!! Choco I.C. is just plain good for the taste buds!
SOMEONE SUGGESTED THAT GENE PUT ON AN EAGLE COSTUME AND STAND OUT ON THE HIGHWAY AND DIRECT TRAFFIC TO OUR SHOP. He would probably be arrested for imitating an eagle.
Jo, it's a good thing that you are retired...you would never have time for your family functions if you were still working. A large family is wonderful. I love it when our family gets together, but with everyone working and children in school, etc. we don't get together often enough.
Well I need to get up earlier then the norm.... in order to get out the door and be at the picnic table by noon! Rain or Shine! I will be in before I leave and back in when I return.. DON'T TELL ME TO GET A LIFE - THIS IS THE BEST PART OF MY LIFE!
Hey, Wanda...I loved and miss that store!! Almost always did my shopping there when I got off work at 11pm! Never did hear why it closed!! Hey, Jo...you sure are spending a lot of time in the kitchen!! Hope hubby helps out....is he retired, too?
I remember Food4Less too, like Lynn, would stop in there late at night. Some of my favorite people worked in there, Jr Rice, and Butch Jones....both were also affiliated with Fire and EMS...which is how I knew them. Salt of the Earth...
They used to have lots of little birdies flying around in the ceiling!
LYNN, there were a lot of theories among the execs. of Food 4 Less as to why they closed it. I think it was a lack of GOOD help. Gene was manager of the meat dept. for a lot of years. When the store started to fail, they made him store manager and he then tried to CLEAN UP the different departments by hiring more experienced managers (instead of teenagers), but by then, it was just, TOO LITTLE TOO LATE. Yes, everyone loved that store, but the employees just let it go to pot.
That is funny - because we both did our part in making the potato salad from the recipe of his late mother. Ed peeled those 10 lbs of potatoes and I made the cooked German dressing under his supervision - That means he tasted it first & gave his approval! lol We Had Fun!
Glad you are off, Margy. Midnight shift can be a little rough. I use to work late hours when I was a telephone operator and dreaded it.
Just saw JR at Parson's Ford when we bought my car. Butch Jones and Gene were good friends for many years. They used to go to the NASCAR races and hunting together. Haven't seen him in a long while.
Wanda, that is really sad. I'm sure that Gene could have saved it if they had given him more time. I know that I really loved their meats, and they were so good about special orders...and having them someplace to be retrieved late at night! Margy, we probably crossed paths, and didn't know it! Hey, Jo, team work makes it so much easier!! Hope you have a great day!
Those were some great pics that you and Mits took Margy of the different boats at Finny over the water. I love that cam's view! I think the dolphins took Mits for a ride! OH No! She told us BIKER WEEK! I guess she thinks that if Norma can do it in Sturgis - she can do it in OC.....
Yes, Wanda - JR - is a fine young man, polite, kind, intelligent, and HANDSOME! We worked together on a lot of things when I was an EMT - in fact he was my "supervising teacher" when I was becoming an EMT Instructor...And Butch was the cook on the shift he worked at Martinsburg Fire Department (in addition to running calls)-
no biking for me tonight, just been watching TV and relaxing, it has been a busy week....Paula, prayers are being sent your way for your Mom......Margy, I did read Steve's post, just was wondering who Keith was, because John used to take care of these things.....Jo, hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow...hubby will be here in the morning, and my friend from Bethesda will be down on Sunday til Thursday:)
Thank you, Margy. She is number one in my prayers every night. I sure hope that pray gets answered soon. She is too sweet and fine a lady to suffer so much. She has been a wonderful mother to me all my life and it hurts so much to see her suffering.
We need to find the Fountain of Youth for GeeGee...
MITS - sorry, figured maybe you missed the post from Steve when you were traveling...Glad you are back safely at the Ocean....aaaahhh - would love to see the Ocean again....
MITS wouldn't it be great if we could see the Redskins/Ravens game together. Do you go to all the Ravens home games and any of the Skins since your son is such a fan

Okay, two...they were necking, me thinks!!!
There's an update on Mason's site.
Will be dark there before too long, I guess...almost 8pm. Wish there was a ship!!
Speaking of Mason, article in the Journal today about the weekend activities at the Clarion.

Now I am back to the kitchen.......
Time for a bite of lunch, and gotta copy some recipes out a very old Dixie cookbook that I put on eBay for friends' store. Later, gators!!

the cam issue is not here, Keith is working on it...
GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE...
i SEE that either the cam is frozen or Belle is still standing in the nest this morning.
It's still very overcast here too, but it's supposed to get close to 80° later.
Happy Birthday to Suzanne. And everyone have a great weekend.
C(°ï®¡°)D
Jim
P.S. I see Belle's head moving from time to time, so I guess the cam isn't frozen.
Not frozen but rewinding Jim.
Thanks, Steve:)
Hello Jim:) cam is frozen in time- keeps updating the same pics over and over from this mornings eagle visit.
Raining here and at the nest now, nice rainy day here, yes there is such a thing as a nice rainy day. The hummingbirds are loving it!
Thanks for update, Steve and Keith for trying! Very strange situation!!
Lynn - it is called The Loop de Loop
It's like deja vu cam...
Hahahaha. So, the pop up cam is on a repeating loop!
Well, since I didn't see it the first time, it looks real to me. I'm enjoying it.

Thanks for your efforts and Keith's too...
Yeah, Jim- the other day in the rain I watched a female hummer sit on a branch and groom herself in the pouring rain-she seemd to love it. They are always real active here when it is raining. But you are right, I have never seen one near my birdbath.
I must say it has been nice seeing Belle all day, even if it is just the illusion of Belle.
It was old.
Daughter was watering plants early one morning and under the spray of water was the hummer sitting there
in the shower. He was loving it!
For your entertainment, here's a hummer video clip.
Hummers
Thanks Red that was a nice "sit back and relax and enjoy" video.
Red, thanks for the hummer video. I live in the city and we have seen a stray every so often.

Very interesting video of the Hummer nest, Red.

Hi gang, just taking a break. Does anyone know where Paula is?
Anne-Marie,
Paula's last entry - Wed
We haven't been able to move Mom into a nursing home yet, we were hoping that was today, but today she has taken a turn for the worse. She is in the ICU unit...she has emphysema and has problems breathing. So hopefully this is the bump in the road she has to go over to get better. I have to go to work for a couple of hours in the morning, then I will be back at the hospital. I hope to be home again Friday night, I'll try to check in and say hello.
Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers, and thank you for yours.

Until then........"

Anne Marie - if you're still here
Norma has ticket for train at 10 -
You are hereby appointed her personal guide & companion!
we have an eagle
good evening all-is anyone there?
I sure wish spidey would get ride of that spot or something like that. :(
It looks like a live eagle but it's been on all day. It repeats over and over. Guess it was live at one time early this morning though.
How rude of me T-Bird. Hiiiiiiii!!!
that's okay I'm just happy to see Liberty or Belle-you guys know I never can tell
I think we all agreed today it was better to have a locked up cam with an eagle on it rather than an empty nest.
I have to surely agree-though I hope it isn't all weekend
Steve is aware and I think someone is looking into it.
thanks for the heads up so I didn't look like an idiot too long
At the beach.....whose Keith???? What happened to John??????
It's Biker Week here.....ba-room...ba-room...ba-room!!!!!!!!
just saw the funniest video of Geraldo Riviera, getting knocked on his keister down in Texas:)
I just got finished watching that video Mits... the 3 firefighters ran back to him but his news crew already had him on his feet.
Is this the Geraldo scene you were talking about, Mits??
C(°ï®¡°)D
Jim
Geraldo clowning around
We have an eagle alert!!
Evening, all!
PaulaHow is your Mom? Eagle been there all day....cam rewinding.
Yes Jim that is the one I seen. Maybe same one Mits seem I don't know she'll have to tell us.
Is the cam on a loop? The picture just changed
Thank you Dana! I'll watch it anyhow!!
Paula, your mother and you are both in all our prayers. Lots of people asking about you today.
Keeping you, your Mom and rest of family in prayer Paula.
Paula, Praying she improves soon.
Megan, get back to the DR
Glad Tom's Mom is home!
Hello, Vicky!
Is Lolly safe from the Hurricane?
Are we taking the 10am eagle train on the Sunday after the Open House?
Thanks!
BBIALW
Paula
Yepper! The 10:00 train
So far: Anne Marie, her brother & his wife, Lolly and Jack and Norma.
I am thankful you were able to touch base with all of us. Everyone thinking and praying for you & your mother and all your family..
Thanks Jim for the clip cause I missed the newscast.
Paula Let us know if you need anything - even if it is just to meet you for lunch one day and perk you up for a while.
Hi Wanda - The Painted House was very good - I enjoyed it - It read
fast like most of his books do.
Glad you checked in, Paula. Thinking of you and your Mom, hope she gets better soon.
JO, that is good to know...that it is a fast read. I get impatient with books that are too long and drawn out. I love to read when the shop is slow...it makes time go faster.
Megan I had a really small hummingbird at the feeder today. Probably migrating. Haven't seen it here before.
I have The Painted House but have not started it yet. I like to read them straight through and haven't found the time block yet.
I'm out of here now. Time for grilled shrimp.
When I got home from dinner this evening and saw Belle still in the nest, I thought, "OH NO, SHE MUST HAVE A BROKEN WING". Glad it is a frozen-loopy cam and not a problem with her.
OK, Red...before you go: How do you grill your shrimp (with what seasoning)?
Wanda, I just ste my chicken soup- but now I have chocolate ice cream...I willl head to the Dr on Monday- yeah- no insurance is a scary thing.
Dana- we saw a hummer yesterday that was the fattest I have ever seen, lots of migrating hummers now, they will stop at feeders along their way.
Grandson started reading/saving hardbacks of Grishman. He was in the navy and we sent him several of his books.
Husband likes and saves hardbacks of W.E.B. Griffin.
Megan lol I'm imagining a "fat" hummingbird.....needed juice from your feeder to keep them wings going lol
Did you get any eagle costume
this year in the shop! Wings - tail feathers - headbands - anything?
I think the school's mascot where Belle Baker teaches is an eagle.
Someone else on here talked about an eagle mascot costume.... I thought it was Sharon or Sissy but they are
the Beavers..
Wanda, what store did Gene work in?
Paula, know that many prayers have been and are sent for your mom.
Megan, remember that chicken soup is good for the soul, too!! Choco I.C. is just plain good for the taste buds!
Hi Hedgie - Spent most of my day in
the kitchen getting ready for a
family reunion tomorrow in the
SUNSHINE!!!!
Eagle mascot: $550.00
LYNN..Gene was manager of FOOD 4 LESS.
SOMEONE SUGGESTED THAT GENE PUT ON AN EAGLE COSTUME AND STAND OUT ON THE HIGHWAY AND DIRECT TRAFFIC TO OUR SHOP. He would probably be arrested for imitating an eagle.
When can you put up the sign for the shop out near the road?
Wanda - Just thinking...
For the price of the Eagle costume -
Does It Fly? lol
Jo, it's a good thing that you are retired...you would never have time for your family functions if you were still working. A large family is wonderful. I love it when our family gets together, but with everyone working and children in school, etc. we don't get together often enough.
Jo, I think it has a motor in it. LOL
My Mascot costumes have fans in the headpiece for cooling. I think that is why they are so costly.
MITS- Keith is one of the techs that Steve mentioned earlier in the day:
"the cam issue is not here, Keith is working on it..."
So maybe it is someone from the cable company or something..
We sure had ourselves going around in circles on it didn't we? Lots of fast hearbeats when people opened up the cam...whew!
xo
SIGN will go up Oct. 10. Can only have it up 20 days. :(
With it being the weekend - I guess we will see Belle in the nest for a few more days! It is better then
a BLUE SCREEN
Are you working tonight, Margy?
Yes it is, Jo. And she does move from time to time, which makes it more interesting.
Well I need to get up earlier then the norm.... in order to get out the door and be at the picnic table by noon! Rain or Shine! I will be in before I leave and back in when I return.. DON'T TELL ME TO
GET A LIFE - THIS IS THE BEST PART OF MY LIFE!
Hey, Wanda...I loved and miss that store!! Almost always did my shopping there when I got off work at 11pm! Never did hear why it closed!!
Hey, Jo...you sure are spending a lot of time in the kitchen!! Hope hubby helps out....is he retired, too?
I know there is a lot of LOVE in Jo's kitchen.
Wanda, I am OFF!
Good to see our Eagle Buds on here.
So Good to hear from Paula and Megan too...got the Big Prayers going....
MEMA: I would like to be adopted into your family !
Hope it is a great picnic Saturday...Even if it is raining, YOU will be the SUNSHINE!
XOXO !!!
That is funny - because we both did our part in making the potato salad from the recipe of his late mother.
Ed peeled those 10 lbs of potatoes and I made the cooked German dressing under his supervision - That
means he tasted it first & gave his approval! lol We Had Fun!
It was fun to have RED on here with us a lot today.....
He's making it tougher on us, that he cannot attend Open House, though. PAULA will need to put his picture on stick so he can be at the Dinner....
I love
that cam's view!
I think the dolphins took Mits for a ride! OH No! She told us BIKER WEEK!
I guess she thinks that if Norma can do it in Sturgis - she can do it in OC.....
I love this blog!!!!
Jo, I love it when Gene and I make a co-op meal. Dustin says we spend too much time getting SUGAH in the kitchen.
Yes, Wanda - JR - is a fine young man, polite, kind, intelligent, and HANDSOME! We worked together on a lot of things when I was an EMT - in fact he was my "supervising teacher" when I was becoming an EMT Instructor...And Butch was the cook on the shift he worked at Martinsburg Fire Department (in addition to running calls)-
xo
WANDA - I have GeeGee on the Big Prayer list too...lovely little cheerful lady, so expressive and bright!
I wonder if Helen took Lubby bike riding. I can just see those blonde streaks of hair blowing in the ocean breeze. LOL
Hi everyone
looks like a lot of chatter tonight
no biking for me tonight, just been watching TV and relaxing, it has been a busy week....Paula, prayers are being sent your way for your Mom......Margy, I did read Steve's post, just was wondering who Keith was, because John used to take care of these things.....Jo, hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow...hubby will be here in the morning, and my friend from Bethesda will be down on Sunday til Thursday:)
Hi, Thelma! How's everything in Bedford? Hi, Buddy!
lol....Wanda more like me screaming as we ride up the highway:)...I'm a back-seat driver.
Thank you, Margy. She is number one in my prayers every night. I sure hope that pray gets answered soon. She is too sweet and fine a lady to suffer so much. She has been a wonderful mother to me all my life and it hurts so much to see her suffering.
Hello, Thelma......:)
Things are good in Bedford.
boat just sailed by at Finland
Me and Buddy have been watching at least a couple family of deer tonight.
How are things in your neck of the woods?
Helen, have you ever ridden on a motor cycle?
We need to find the Fountain of Youth for GeeGee...
MITS - sorry, figured maybe you missed the post from Steve when you were traveling...Glad you are back safely at the Ocean....aaaahhh - would love to see the Ocean again....
MITS wouldn't it be great if we could see the Redskins/Ravens game together. Do you go to all the Ravens home games and any of the Skins since your son is such a fan
