It is the two WV viewers that lost the Live Feed. Strange.
Osprey is on the osprey nest in MN. Haven't seen the geese since they returned. Guess the ospreys are coming home and claiming all their nests from all the squatters!
The kids are huddled into a big fuzzball and sleeping. They move heads every 30 sec, so not much going on at the moment.

My BC is running great today. She hasn't uncovered the eggs in quite awhile. I am off to run errands, be back later today. By the time I get back home, there will hopefully be new chicks at BC and CO.

By some miracle, although they cut within inches of it, the Hummingbird nest in my tree survived the tree trimming yesterday!
It's a bad time of year for trimming, and I don't want to think about how many nests were lost in the complex.
I guess there's still time to start over... A lot of songbirds like these trees as well...like the House Finch.
I learned from one of the tree trimmers that this tree is a Ficus, and there are many in the complex. I looked it up in Wikipedia and learned Ficus is the fig tree, and there are hundreds of varieties and relatives worldwide. I think this variety may come from Asia.

Morning, Jim. Benjamin Ficus is a good house plant. Makes a beautiful tree indoors, but they don't like to be moved! They potty all over if you move them.
Paula, you made my day!!!! Thanks for both bits of info. Only see the nest in the AM, and it's always a very dark something color. I am SO GLAD to hear both BW babies ate well yesterday!!! I feel better now... a little. I haven't seen either of them get any breakfast yet, tho, but haven't been watching as closely as I usually do.

My goodness, an adult has returned to the BWE nest. First time I've seen an adult there since they left shortly after 6 this morning. Now, is she gonna feed the kids???? Doesn't look like it. Bummer!!!

Awwwwwwww, just saw a chicks at PH. Sure has gotten big in a hurry. Man they grow fast. Took K26 a while to get them settled, and guess they're not settled yet. Adorable.

No, it is down, but I am loading video of the hatching now. I think my cam was behind time, because on the Maine forum it happened at 7 PM. I had rewound it earlier to look at the egg, must not have reset it.

I did two videos, otherwise it would be too big to download. He gets out a little further than my second video will show, but mom, dad and sibs all got in the way and then I lost the cam.

Jo had just been wondering when they would hatch, so I opened the site. I was so surprised to see two chicks in the nest.
What time did you open it? I tried but it was dark?
I looked and Jo mentioned it at 10:20, so it would have been right after that, but I didn't watch it until I posted and was talking with Mits about the Kent eagles.

Good early (really early) morning - 2:47 a.m.) I have been up since about midnight. Dogs woke me up and haven't been able to go back to sleep yet. Belle has been awake for most of that time, just looking around. Pecking Pearl, Middy and Baby Littley have been sleeping like little (well somewhat little) logs. Going to try to go back to sleep now.

Good morning, world. Nice out, but foggy here...lots of the tops of bldgs are shrouded in fog and invisible on the ground. 53° in PA, 51° here in VA. Not too bad, but guess we're supposed to get rain from sometime today through Sunday. Guess we won't have any droughts this year.
Belle is asleep by the kids, and they're zonked out too.
Ugh spidey's cousin is on the BWE cam lens, so can only see a parent between his leg and body. That's about enough of that, he can go now.
Finland is MT, but for once it's clear.

We have a stork egg, how cool! Nest in GE, mom is standing over it looking at it. Beautiful.
Scottish osprey is in nest, just looking around. And the BWE cam is frozen, so had to minimize that. Can only look at spidey's butt and leg for so long, so will check later. Also looks like someone raked a bunch of leaves in front of the cam in PA. Maybe to hide some food or something. Unfortunately ME nest is MT yet again. Wonder if they're going to have any eggs there this year or not.
Mrs Stork is showing Mr Stork their egg. How cool is that. She must have just laid it this morning, their time. But no way of knowing unless they post something. Belle and the kids are still sacked out.
Cool, Scotland ospreys just mated. The female stork is turning her egg ever so gently, and looking at it from every angle. Dad's watching.
Mom just got on her egg, and she's got her feathers all fluffed up. Beautiful. Dad is standing guard.
Both parents must be excited about their first egg. They're both checking on it again.
Egg is now totally covered in grasses, and parents are both standing on side of nest. They're storks, can only see 4 long legs.

Osprey is in the house in Finland. Just thought I'd check on the BWE kids. Now that is an impossible mission! Spidey is now 100% showing us his belly and legs on the cam lens. Can see absolutely nothing but spidey. That's not a good thing. He needs to go away.
Belle and the kids haven't really moved, other than tossing in their sleep.
