Good morning Paula. Late last night the eagle at NBG was up looking into the egg cup and then settled down. Early this morning eagle in Maine nest just sitting looking out at the water
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDDIES!!---PAULA you have covered all bases!!---Think you forgot to check the DIVERS!!!----ho!---Been attempting to catch up on my email!!!!
It's a FOGGY--WET a.m. here in WV-----"HOME OF BELLE & LIBERTY---PLUS 3"----It's going to be a GLORIOUS DAY----The "AWESOME 3" need to shake their feathers dry!!----a little rain isn't going to dampen the spirits of the EAGLET WATCHERS!!!----LIFE IS GOOD!!--(LIVE is good too!)---We are TRULY BLESSED!!----ENJOY!!
VA LADY---Stood up in nest LOOKED DOWN & put head in egg cup---kept looking down --a little while---moved a stick or two------Finally turned around in the nest & settled back in the nest!!---Is there a chick!!---Something was happening!!!---
The beautiful STORKS in Germany are both on the nest!!---MOM sitting on a clutch of 5 eggs & DAD standing close to her & bending down to 'chat'--He has to bend WAY DOWN!!---Can't wait until the eggs hatch!!!
Just checking in before I go to Church and shopping. Norma the ME eagles will not lay eggs but as Paula said they visit the nest. The M&M girls are a lot of fun to watch. Happy Birthday Donna. Hope you have a great day. Got to get to Church. bb
BWE Flew Out. Doesn't look as though food was brought in to the nest.
Eaglets names will be chosen and then announced during the coming week. Since I suggested 2 and so did Norma I think - I am anxious to see what is chosen.
Good Afternoon dear friends and thanks so much for the birthday greetings. I appreciate them so much. I love getting older. I thank God for every day, year, week, moment and hour. Life is good, as Norma says. I have a prayer request on my birthday. As most of you know, my husband is the health freak. Watches every bite he takes. Weighs the same he did when he made All American in college playing basketball, and jogs 3 to four miles everysingle day. Won't eat drink cola. Anyway we took a heart screening test last week. Husband is also chairman of our local hospital advisory council, former health and pe teacher too. But to encourage the community to use a new cardiac calcium and plaque screening test the hospital newly acquired (great test includes use of MRI no invasion no IV, just a 15 minute MRI screening)he scheduled a test for him and for me. Scores go up to 1,000. Little chubby, no exercise unless he nags me, scored 16 and he scored around 800. Now he has to have a stress test. My dear sisters went to the altar with me this morning to pray for him and may I humbly ask you for thoughts and prayers as well??? I truly covet your prayers and we have seen as an eaglemomster and dadster family how powerful prayer is. I know that I know that I know God does little outside of prayer. Thank you my dear dear ones for I know that you will honor my request (especially since it is my birthday) and I am excited to tell you that for my birthday my dear husband has giv en me the promise of a visit to NCTC next open house. Be still my heart . . . . . . . I love you all, and gals and guys lets pray for his healing. God bless you all today in the name of his dear son. love donna
I don't know if it was mentioned earlier, but IWS has apparently renewed the lease on their domain, and you can access their site the normal way again.
I'm going to go to another Window and do some free rice, etc. and some candles.
GOOD GOLLY MISS MAULEY... I have never met you in person, but I feel very close to you; perhaps we are Soul Sisters. I wish you the happiest of birthdays ever. Go do something special with your hubby and enjoy the whole day! Of course, you and your hubby will have all our prayers for future good health. Kept us up to date on progress of stress test, etc. Look so forward to meeting you at NCTC. ((HUGS))
Jim, I love free rice. I do it all the time. Thanks for the reminder, and I shall log in again today. We have a new eagle momster. My sister, Lee, has logged in. She has been lurking for a long time, and what a treat for her to finally post on my birthday. Welcome, Lee. donna
Dear ones, Helen got Ceil to join, and our Sandy Shaw brought us Dannell, now we have my sister, Lee, our eagle watching family is growing and growing. Hi Sandra, and have we had a report on our Sandra lately? Thanks Wanda, we are sisters in Christ, you know. Where is sister Sharon this morning? This is the day the Lord hath made and I am going to rejoice and be glad in it all day long. BBL mauley
While we are having prayer; please pray for my beloved Mom. She got sick in church this morning and I had to drive her home. It doesn't seem fair that she is sick and in pain so much of the time and is a wonderful human being and loves her Lord; lives her life for the Lors.
Prayers for your Mother, Wanda. What a blessing you have your Mom. My Mom is celebrating my birthday in heaven, today. Would you please give your Mom a hug for me? She sounds like a jewel to me. Thank you for sharing with us and we will pray for her daily. love donna
Paula, I never would have figured that out. What do you know . . . . a spidey meal. I have just finished reading all those lovely cards, and what a blessing they were to me. Thank you so much. I even got a singing card from Jim. It was hilarious. thanks friends. donna
Welcome Lee! Happy to have you in our Eagle Family! Hope to hear from you often here on the blog. I seem to remember Ryan's Granny and was thinking it was from Eaglet Momsters Site - but I can't find you there now.
Naturenut - hi there. Hope you're enjoying your day & very happy for your good news. Sometimes it helps due to not knowing everyone's needs to pray that He is looking over all of us & knows our needs & helps us through all our anxious moments
Whoopie for the NBG hatch! Thanks Paula for the video. Have not been on a lot today but have had NBG up all day. Go to the store, come back, and wow!!!
I was checking the Channel Island cams a minute ago, but when I came to the Seal Rock nest, it looked like the chick was MIA, when a giant poop shoot shot across the nest from off-camera! Hahaha.
All the Island nests are trying various things to fight the heat right now.
After a long weekend of watching and waiting we finally have an eaglet. Throughout the day both Sat. and Sun. the adults were restless, frequently peering down into the nest bowl as they incubated. Occasionally the female on the nest would assume a brooding posture, slightly higher in the nest, thus creating a pocket of space. All of this attention was to the industrious chick, busy struggling out of its egg!
Video captures posted to eagle watching forums show a brief, but definite view of the eaglet at 3:50 pm. This is great news considering the struggles this pair have endured this year. True to form this pair had an extended incubation with the egg hatching on its 37th day. Until the eaglet gets a bit larger we'll be limited to brief glimpses of grayish down.
Now we chronicle the growth and development of this eaglet until the day it fledges in 8-14 weeks.
Oh Joy, and be still my heart, after all the trials and disappointments NBG God has blessed us with a little bobble head. Maybe he will take the edge off our own empty nest as we will still have him then. Paula, many thanks for the Norfolk video, which was amazing, as usual. donna
Finally got the OR cam to come up for me. I think it has been a busy site because yesterday the prelude just kept repeating for me.. Eagle is in nest with back of head facing cam - The Nest is clear of snow!
HELLO....back from visiting the girls, parents should be back from their trip around midnight, my d-i-l will be very happy that Maggie can finally say mom-mom now....I know this trip has been great, but they are missing the girls....we were all very happy to see the "M&M "car win at Talladega
Blogger didn't want to come up this morning! Finally did, tho. Good morning, world. Rainy and foggy out, but 51° both at home and at work. See Spidey has caught a future meal right smack dab in the center of his nest. Quite effectively blocks out the nest except for the very top and sides. Belle is in the nest with the kids, I presume cause it's raining. Both BW kids are sleeping side by side. I see we have an osprey egg in BWO!!!!! Finally! I am so happy to see that. Was wondering if they were going to accept the nest, or just fool around. Osprey on side of nest, not on egg at the moment. Had an osprey in Finland, but it took off, and both Finney's parents are in the nest! Cool, won't be long we'll have eggs there. Tha jackdaw is turning her eggs. Wonder if she has 5 now, or still 4?? I see the CO owls have fledged. Looks like only 1 in the nestbox, on the side, but it's very small, so that could be leftovers or something. Man, our kids are growing. Jim said we had some hatchlings, will have to glance back and see who hatched. Oh, that reminds me, I have 2 brand new baby chicks in the wreath on my front door. Saw them Sat! Haven't seen an adult in the nest in a couple days, so was going to take the wreath down before somebody else nested there. But as soon as I moved the wreath, 2 mouths opened wide. Eyes still closed, so I just put the wreath right back! Guess mom was in the tree across the street, cause she is back, heard her last night. So we won't be moving that wreath for a while, now. Not sure what they are, can't get a decent look at mom.
One thing: Mauley, Donna, I hope you had a wonderful birthday yesterday! I'm sorry I missed it, but not online at home. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR MAULEY DONNA HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! I hope you had the most wonderful day, and hope you have the most wonderful year! Many many more!
Belle's eye glowing, osprey still on side of nest. All have a great eagle/panda day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
Well our darn osprey hasn't been on the egg since I've logged on this morning, about 4:15 or so. That's an hour! Guess they know what they're doing. Can still only see a portion of Bell, and shadows that are probably the chicks. Do not like this bug right in the center of the cam! BW kids still sleeping, jackdaw has turned eggs several times, but not showing them on the cam. both osprey still in Finney's nest, but male has been in and out, but mostly in. I think that is Angus on the eggs in Scotland, but hard to see his collar.
BWO on egg finally. Wasn't watching, so no idea when she got on the egg. BWE eaglets waking up. Belle still awake, can see her head and back, and chick on her left, she's facing 12. Finney's folks have mated a gazillion times, and nest is now MT. Maybe they went to get some lunch. Finland osprey nest MT, jackdaw turning eggs. Can't bring up NBG, black screen. Scotland osprey still on eggs. Still 1 owlett in CO nestbox, and raining in PA. Got my SD newsletter, did anybody watch ZZ yesterday in her snow??? Bet that was a hoot. Would have loved to watch her, snow for the first time. Alrighty then, back to work. Be glad when daylight arrives so we can see our nest!
LOL, thanks, Jim. I was on other computer, not really watching here too much. Hope I didn't miss you! Glad to hear NBG hatched! Those poor eagles have been through a very rough several months, so glad they have a baby!!!!
Morning Suzanne and Jim(who is probably sleeping now). Rain showers passing through here now, gonna be another soggy day. live feed is still down, and that spiderweb has got to go.
Morning, Megan. Yeah, that catch of the day isn't gonna cut it in spidey's web! Thought we'd be able to see the nest better in daylight, but doesn't look like much of an improvement yet. It was raining all the way down this morning. No rain at my house, till I got about a mile or so down the road.
GOOD MORNING SUZ AND MEGAN... Don't you think that JohnNCTC should give us the SMART BUTTON so that we can reset the cam when needed? LOL I feel as though part of my world is missing when the feed is down.
WOW, look at the wing flaps in our nest! Huge wing span now. good grief, wings went from 1 side of the nest to the other, awesome! Switch in Scotland, Angus is on the 3 eggs now. One BWE eagle has been up exploring the nest and doing wing flaps, the other one is still sleeping. Oh, just woke up and moved. I worry about those 2. Still no sign of a parent with food, yet! Both are awake.
Morning, Wanda. Hard to see our nest with that bug right in the center of the cam! Thanks, Megan, I couldn't get NBG to open this morning. I'll go try again. When did the chick hatch?
GOOD MONDAY MORNING TO MEGAN, SUZANNE, AND WANDA. Still recovering from the big move to Greenville, but glad that is finally over. I see we have a new chick in NBG nest.
Glad to hear that it is a bug on our cam. Spidey's web must be working overtime. I thought maybe a plane had landed in the nest. :)
I didn't get back until late Sat. so haven't checked email or blog yet. Just wanted to say hi to you all, and tell you all and everyone else that will get on, to have a great day.
OMG, 2nd CO owl just fledged! He was walking up and down on the edge of the nest box, and just did a refresh, and next box is MT. So now they both need to come back and check in, let us know they made it alright!

Parent our nest
Dinnertime!
Looks like 3 hungry eaglets.
I think Norfolk has a hatch!
Video of Norfolk new hatch!
Lori's video
NBG confirmed the chick hatch in the chat room!
Feeding time is over....eaglet was flapping wings...they are really getting big!
I'm not 100% sure about it, but it appears that the Allen's Hummingbird nest might have one egg hatching.
C(°ï®¡°)D
Jim
The BWO female just departed, revealing that there is only one egg at this time.
C(°ï®¡°)D
Jim
Yes, I saw the little bobble head of a hatchling at Norfolk...
And I might be seeing two hatchlings at the Hummer nest. It's at least 95° here now, and she is raised up off the nest to avoid overheating.
C(°ï®¡°)D
Jim
Whoopie for the NBG hatch! Thanks Paula for the video. Have not been on a lot today but have had NBG up all day. Go to the store, come back, and wow!!!
HOORAY for Nora & Norman!!
Thanks for posting the video, Paula.
Hooray, Hooray!!! Finally a new Bobblehead in Norfolk! Been watching all weekend-looked like something was up.
Thx for video Paula!!
Seems we have a lot of hatches to be thankful for!
Now NBG Daddy better start bringing home dinner! They told me there that he has not been doing well. That better change!!!!
Wonder if they have any idea when it hatched? Yesterday I saw something. It could have been the egg pushed up. It moved.
I was checking the Channel Island cams a minute ago, but when I came to the Seal Rock nest, it looked like the chick was MIA, when a giant poop shoot shot across the nest from off-camera! Hahaha.
All the Island nests are trying various things to fight the heat right now.

I think the first peek was around 4 today
The SR chick moves off cam into the shade...
Too bad spidey hasn't eaten that bug...gonna block the view tonight...
I'll be glad when the live feed is up tomorrow! It's like watching paint dry watching the 30 second cam! Yes, I'm spoiled!
Hi everyone. Prayers will be said for Donna's husband and Wanda's mom. Congrats NBG chick. Come on dad bring food.
So excited!! Just saw our new baby at NBG. Moving around quite a bit, and mom moved the egg out. Sitting here grinning like a fool!

“Eaglets in Norfolk”
After a long weekend of watching and waiting we finally have an eaglet. Throughout the day both Sat. and Sun. the adults were restless, frequently peering down into the nest bowl as they incubated. Occasionally the female on the nest would assume a brooding posture, slightly higher in the nest, thus creating a pocket of space. Parent in our nest
I think parent is still there..
Maybe because the rain has started a little?
Yup, see her tail now.
WHOO HOO For NBG EAGLES
So glad there is finally some success from the nest!
Temps have dropped down to 54°
Rain is in the area and that may be why the adult is still down in the nest.
Wahhh... still no live feed... not raining here yet.
Did things go ok at market today?
What are you selling at this time?
Overslept but really wanted to come down & see you... I'll make it!
When do you start your other location down the road?
Boo Hiss on Spidey's web! Too bad the rain and wind didn't blow it down.
Oh Joy, and be still my heart, after all the trials and disappointments NBG God has blessed us with a little bobble head. Maybe he will take the edge off our own empty nest as we will still have him then. Paula, many thanks for the Norfolk video, which was amazing, as usual. donna
I didn't make that Norfolk video, Lori from the Maine forum did...she did a great job!
Finally got the OR cam to come up for me. I think it has been a busy site because yesterday the prelude just kept repeating for me..
Eagle is in nest with back of head facing cam - The Nest is clear of snow!
The CO threesome are napping in a little clump! They sometimes can get out of view from their cam coverage..

So
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR MAULEY DONNA
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
I hope you had the most wonderful day, and hope you have the most wonderful year! Many many more!
Belle's eye glowing, osprey still on side of nest. All have a great eagle/panda day.
Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
Oh, mating in Finney's nest, how cool!!!
Mating again, Finney's.
Good morning, Suzanne and the early birders.
Been to sleep, up again, planning to do it again... BUT I wanted to say "hi" first.
The female at BWO is perched on the box sleeping or looking at her egg?? Maybe slowing the development of the first until the second one comes.
Have a great day, Suz. Congratulations on the new chicks in the Christmas decorations.

Well, folks, we have a Tian male osprey in Finney's nest! Tian like Mei's hip, this guy likes the center of her back. Too funny.
Both back, Finney's nest.
Jim, love your new smiley face! You certainly are getting creative, but this one looks very cool!
Good grief, mating in BWO while the female is on the egg.
Just checked the radar, looks like there is a lot of rain headed at us today. Adult eagle looks sopping wet in the nest.
Belle looks soaked, doesn't she?
Yeah, it was a heavy shower that just passed by the nest.
Big time wing flaps in BWE! Man, our chicks are getting big. At least what you can see of them.
Those poor babies. At least mom is in the nest keeping them company while it's raining! They are such good parents!
Osprey back in Finland.
GOOD MORNING SUZ AND MEGAN...
Don't you think that JohnNCTC should give us the SMART BUTTON so that we can reset the cam when needed? LOL
I feel as though part of my world is missing when the feed is down.
You can see the chick at NBG, mom is up.
Now huge wing flaps in BWE!
Hello Wanda, yes, wish someone would reset the live feed.
Morning, Wanda. Hard to see our nest with that bug right in the center of the cam!
Thanks, Megan, I couldn't get NBG to open this morning. I'll go try again. When did the chick hatch?
Cool! NBG came up. That bug looks like a dragon fly in our nest now.
Suz, it hatched around mid-afternoon yesterday.
She kept looking down at the egg and pulling moss around it.
Paula posted a video from LORI of the new chick. Check it out at 6:03 yesterday afternoon.
Thanks, Wanda. I'll go check it out.
Darn, video is YouTube. Blocked here, but thanks for the info!
Osprey back, Finney's nest.
BWE parent has a fish. Is she actually feeding the chick? Yup, the larger one. Hope the other one gets some too!
Hi Candy! I know you're glad the move is over! That's a lot of work. Have a great day at school today.
OMG, 2nd CO owl just fledged! He was walking up and down on the edge of the nest box, and just did a refresh, and next box is MT. So now they both need to come back and check in, let us know they made it alright!
GOOD MORNING CANDY...
Hope you didn't wear yourself out.
