It is a WONDERFUL thing, isn't it, Norma? I have been feeling so badly for Lynn, but saw a comment from The Outdoor TV people, promising to help her, and I can't wait for her to get back on here and get that help!
WANDA---Forgot to tell you & GLO--- Last night--a school friend of mine who is a lurker---called last night---after we talked a few mins--she asked--"DID YOU WIN THE LOTTERY"-----ho!
Yep, would be nice to see some rain or some sun, instead of just clouds. But, mother nature will dictate the weather, and we'll just tolerate it. GH work today, I have almost 900 lisianthus plugs waiting to be transplanted....
Good morning everyone. Have been up a while with one of those headache things I so hate. Have a Staff meeting to go too, but since I was up I did start recording some sights and sounds from this mornings feeding, poopshoot comings and goings at NCTC. It is saving now but it is a 10 min movie. Not sure i can get it saved and loaded to you tube too before i head off to work BUT I promise I iwll surely try.
We are all gonna be up and running. We have all learned more than we ever thougth we owuld around an eagles nest in WV...how to get everyone up and running can be added to that list I am sure.
OK video is saved. Uploading to you Tube now. Off to coffee and dog treats. will hopefully have a link when I retunr but that depends on how well you tube is uploading today.
Morning all! Am not going to say "good" until it is for my live feed!! LOL! Have uninstalled Flashplayer and shockwave...will reinstall while I read papers, and then let you know!! Thanks for all tips and help. I gather that "cmoise" is someone w/ the new provider, and have that address to contact if needed. Wish me luck! Finney fine for me...what's wrong, Norma???
MORNIN' HEDGIE!!---I haven't checked everything out this am---Have classes--am---but I have been enjoying the live feed---watching the 'lil' one----but I haven't seen the egg!---I wondered what happened to it---think it's in the HOLE?
If you haven't read the blog and looked at the videos in the latest at the NBG site, you've gotta.
The Live Feed is just great yet this morning still.
Both O's were at BWO a moment ago. They've got a big load of reeds and root balls there, but I think Lisa's right, there either isn't enough of the heavier lumber nearby, or this pair doesn't know how to utilize it.
She's either preening her wings or pulling white fluff out. She can stand up on her legs for brief periods, so she'll probably be exploring the nest before long.
I was going to tell you last night, but I had closed the blog that the parent was not covering Miracle in the nest bowl last night. They spent at least part of the night separately.
Hughesnet cop got me!! I exceeded the Fair Access Threshold policy, so I will basically be at dial-up speed for 24 hrs. Drat! So now I can't download or watch anything!!
Had to chuckle a little while ago...weather gal Kim on Ch. 9 showed some photos that a viewer sent in: one of an eagle on a nesting box, and then 2 osprey on the same box, and talked about them chasing the eagle away...and that's the way it is "along the Potomac." I am fairly certain that it was the BWE at the BWO nest box!!!!
Have done my cam watching for the morning. Off to eat breakfast and then walk. Going to work in the yard before leaving to babysit for my boys this afternoon.
Hope to go see Sharon and Dan tomorrow. They are at an RV park in Canton, TX. Big market day on the first weekend of each month. Load of fun...Jack hates it, so he can keep Dan company while Sharon and I shop. :)
I put 9 pictues from yesterday and today on the new Momsters album...if you view the slideshow they are a little out of order, if you see the thumbnails, they are IN order....but I'm not even going to try to mess with it !
xo
Sure is a peaceful scene at The Sycamore Palace Greatest Bed and Breakfast around !
Lynn, glad you got to see our Live Feed, if only for a little while. At least you know now that you can get it! I saw that report on the eagle and the pair of ospreys...the nest was either in Alexandria, Va. or the person who took the photos was from there.
Lynn, in answer to your question of last night, about the lobster. It was WONDERFUL. It was the best meal I have had in a loooong time. For the first time, I chose the lobster I wanted out of the tank, as did Gene. I never wanted to do that before (didn't think I would enjoy it if I had looked it in the eyes before it was cooked):)
If you enjoyed the cartoon I posted on SMILES last night, I have an equally fun one there, now, but it is for LADIES only. Might make the men faint;);)Tee Hee
I was still wondering, if anyone getting a very constant, humming noise on the live feed? I can still hear things, wind and birds and things, but have that hum.
I wrote to cmoise to let him (I hope) know that Lynn got the feed to work and thank him for his help last night. (His name is Chris.) He said they are still need to work on some of the controls, and hope to get to that shortly.
Lynn, lisianthus are an annual here, wonderful long lasting cut flower. The other name for them is eustoma, but they are more commonly known as lisianthus. I am transplanting them from little plug trays into bigger pots to grow on.They arrived in the mail form CA yesterday. Too hard for me to grow from seed. lisianthus
Wanda, I took it to mean that the photographer was from Alexandria, but maybe there IS a nest box near the city, which would sure be George's territory!!! The Wilson Bridge is over the river at Alexandria. Thanks, Deb, for contacting Chris at MyOutdoorTV...I never got that far in my thinking!! Megan....very nice--thanks!
Beautiful day out....it's up to 60. Saw a wild violet in bloom near the house, but none out in the "yard" yet. The hanger-on leaves are blowing off the trees, so that means buds are popping!! Forsythia has been in bloom for over a week, and I have one jonquil! Anxious for my redbuds and dogwoods, but fear that I have lost one d/w.....it was very sick-looking in late summer, and feels brittle.
I would assume snow mobiles for sure, Lynn. Dogs can't help because of all the snow. I am not sure if they are bringing in horses either because of the snow. I don't know how many helicopters there are in Rapid City, not many, I am sure. Small planes would be more likely.
So far they have only found their car. They are in a remote part of the Hills, not much for roads, etc. They had to hike in, there were so many warnings out, I don't understand why they went in.
Lynn. I am so glad to read you did get your live feed up. Time for me to sleep for a while I have cam club tonight and feeling pretty rotten at the moment. Glad to have staff meeting over. Enjoy the cam...sure is a little cutire...wonder why its panting?
I just checked for an update, Margy, and it is not sounding good. Authorities are interviewing family members about alleged abuse. Sure hope they are wrong, but both parents are on probation, they didn't say why.
I'm back with some knowledge to pass on. DON'T INSTALL INTERNET EXPLORER 8 UNLESSS YOU TRULY WANT IT. If you try to take it out you will have to re-download 7 plus any virus protection. Because Internet Explorer 8 will take some of both 7 and virus protection you had in before out.
Plus since Internet Explorer 8 is so new some of our prgrams won't work without hitting the "compatibility view" tee hee.
For instance on this site. You know how we refresh to see another comment. If you do each time you have to hit something for the pictures to be seen. Maybe in time I will figure that part out.
Glad Hedgie/Lynn got to see live feed. Sorry your in the corner from Hughesnet. BAD Hughesnet!! :(
Yes Lynn everytime I refresh I have to click "no" or the pictures don't show. I will eventually find the way to fix it. Just tired of all morning since first on not seeing our eagles.
grr I even have to do it when I type a comment lol I think it is driving me nuts because I have cracked I'm sitting here laughing like a fool click "no" click "no" lol
You can fix that clicking yes thing. Go to "tools", then "internet options", then "security" tab, then "custom", then go down to "miscellaneous" and then to "display mixed content" click on "enable".
I had that same thing, Ladies, until Paula visited last August and took a turn at the computer, and she did something that zapped it just like that! so you might run this question past her, if it is the same thing I think you are referring to. ( I have IE-7.)
Sharon, you are so smart!!! Dana says it worked.....now I can see it, too. THANK YOU!! Sorry about your infusion....good that they have wireless there! I've asked a couple of times, but guess you haven't seen my posts....is the anemia an expected result of the bypass?
Yes Lynn, the iron deficiency anemia is a direct result of my gastric bypass. Before that, I donated blood all the time, now can't keep enough for myself!
How about that Lynn ... that gal is hooked to an IV and helped us both with the same problem on the computers. LOL You can take Sharon almost anywhere but they better have wireless because we can't do without her ( :
Just looked at the picture Lisa has up of what the Osprey Nest would look like by April 1st WOW...I don't know about newbies but they need "an extreme makeover of housing"!!
Geula, I guess you just missed postings on the blog about it...we knew about 10 days in advance that it was scheduled. Guess we should have put it in momsters' mail!! SORRY!!!
No official name, yet! We have been calling it Hidey--because mom kept it well hidden for a long time; Suzanne calls it Miracle--guess because it was the only one to hatch! There has been talk of a contest, but nothing set yet! Love that saying, geula--is that in Hebrew??
3 hrs. of ER tonight....and then FINIS!!! Will be glad when it's over....miss the old casts and storylines....but with Michael Crightons' passing, VERY fitting that it finally will be over before they can ruin it any more!
Well Home Health Aide was here this early pm and then the PT therapist was here. Dinner is finished and I am tired out. Going to put my leg up for a while.
There is word on the missing family. It seems they decided to "run away". The man called his father today and reports that everyone is fine. The father talked to everyone. The search has not been called completely off, due to the fact that they are on parole in NE and now have warrants for their arrest.
Back from afternoon with GeeGee. She's doing well today:)
ABOUT OUR ROAD TRIP TO LORETTA'S PATUXENT PARK..... We have Margy's April work schedule and have some tentative dates: April 20, 21, or 24. Still have to wait on report from Jo's surgeon (April 6) and Loretta's approval of those dates. Be thinking of one of those dates that will suit you (if you are interested in taking the trip) and will talk more about it after hearing from Jo and Loretta:)
Just in case you don't know what I am talking about...We are going on a Road Trip to visit the Patuxent Park where Loretta works in the Eagle Express and it is a free trip to anyone who wants to go:)
Yes, it sure does, Paula. Just think of the worry they caused everyone, plus the waste of time and money spent looking for them. Now when they get caught for jumping parole, I would assume it means going back to jail, dumb.
A contestant on Jeopardy from Manassas must have been a volunteer zoo monitor, Mits. Her name is Diana Wilshere....she talked about observing the zoo'z first pandas during mating 6" from the fence before they had cams! and she just won.

Our baby is getting so big, and seems very alert!! And alone!!
Wahoo, Lynn!!! Now you can say
GOOD morning! LOL
She's either preening her wings or pulling white fluff out. She can stand up on her legs for brief periods, so she'll probably be exploring the nest before long.

YAY Lynn...
Morning, all :)
Awww, look at Hidey playing with the grass
Good morning Paula! Isn't this sound fantastic?!
Parent just arrived!
I'm sure it is, Lolly. Can't hear it on this computer at work, but I can at home...
Every once in awhile, I can hear a chirp, but that's about it!
I am happy just watching the live feed in real time!!
OMG, I forgot how cute they were trying to balance and walk at the same time!!
Good morning, everyone. still have some catching up to do.
Got Duke Farms up for the first time today. That PROTOCOL tht flashes on there is distracting.
Hughesnet cop got me!! I exceeded the Fair Access Threshold policy, so I will basically be at dial-up speed for 24 hrs. Drat! So now I can't download or watch anything!!
Was that an adult flying by on the right? Thought we would see a landing in the nest.
Aw, Hedgie that sucks!
Deb - I forgot how cute they are trying to do a poop shoot as well!
Lynn, that is so disgusting. Boo, Hughsnet!
I just got a glimpse. Could not tell what it was.
Bummer, Lynn!
Both mother and son are active on-cam now at Atlanta ... Pandas that is.

Dave, Great nest pictures!
One egg all alone at Maine 2.
Hedgie - I do believe there are some osprey boxes along the Potomac around DC
Looks like cornstalks at BWE, too
You can see the flies at OUR nest now!!
Triplets being fed at NBG!
I just have to tell ya - Luney and Hidey are 2 real pieces of work!
BWO - Nice right now

Have done my cam watching for the morning. Off to eat breakfast and then walk. Going to work in the yard before leaving to babysit for my boys this afternoon.
Hope to go see Sharon and Dan tomorrow. They are at an RV park in Canton, TX. Big market day on the first weekend of each month. Load of fun...Jack hates it, so he can keep Dan company while Sharon and I shop. :)
I am getting a hum, anyone else?
Yay Lynn, at least yay for now, and yay again later...☺
Oh man, heart rate quickens as baby gets closer to the edge...
parent back...our nest
And there is the Lifeguard !
Megan, do your bulbs have a common flower name we might recognize? I can't browse to look it up! And are you transplanting to outdoors or repotting??
Oh, Paula, didn't know that!! Wonder where on the Potomac? Maybe it was GEORGE!!!!
I hear the children playing...
I put 9 pictues from yesterday and today on the new Momsters album...if you view the slideshow they are a little out of order, if you see the thumbnails, they are IN order....but I'm not even going to try to mess with it !

Sure is a peaceful scene at The Sycamore Palace
Greatest Bed and Breakfast around !
There is a new Mason update today:
Mason Update
Lynn, glad you got to see our Live Feed, if only for a little while. At least you know now that you can get it!
I saw that report on the eagle and the pair of ospreys...the nest was either in Alexandria, Va. or the person who took the photos was from there.
Hidey is all snuggled in the grass in front of parent :)
That's Great. Deb -Thanks !
Mason can enjoy the Eagle Cam right along with us Momsters and Dadsters when he gets home, that will be the perfect therapy!
xo
Lynn, in answer to your question of last night, about the lobster. It was WONDERFUL. It was the best meal I have had in a loooong time. For the first time, I chose the lobster I wanted out of the tank, as did Gene. I never wanted to do that before (didn't think I would enjoy it if I had looked it in the eyes before it was cooked):)
If you enjoyed the cartoon I posted on SMILES last night, I have an equally fun one there, now, but it is for LADIES only. Might make the men faint;);)Tee Hee
Good One, Wanda !
Ouch!
I was still wondering, if anyone getting a very constant, humming noise on the live feed? I can still hear things, wind and birds and things, but have that hum.
Hidey is soooo wobbly trying to stand and do a poop shoot...it's so comical!
Very funny, Wanda!
I wrote to cmoise to let him (I hope) know that Lynn got the feed to work and thank him for his help last night. (His name is Chris.) He said they are still need to work on some of the controls, and hope to get to that shortly.
Okay! We need a fence there !
Okay, Deb, if you are answering my question about the hum - - it surely is manageable -
I am so grateful for what we have !
Thanks, Deb!
Oh No, not sure I can watch....
too close to the edge...
We have a good network on here! ♥
No, Margy, that was just a coincidence about the hum and my comment from Chris.
Oh cute, I think he is going to Lick the Food !
I keep missing the poop shoots.
Okey-Doke Deb ! ☺
Lynn, lisianthus are an annual here, wonderful long lasting cut flower. The other name for them is eustoma, but they are more commonly known as lisianthus. I am transplanting them from little plug trays into bigger pots to grow on.They arrived in the mail form CA yesterday. Too hard for me to grow from seed. lisianthus
Hey Deb, I caught one a little while ago...put the video on the EM blog...
Do ya'll have a buzzin' on your cam? I had to close it down on my desktop and open it over on my laptop. Couldn't hear the doctor's for the buzzing.
Thanks, Paula!
Oh, I see now where magpie posted she has it too. It is tolerable for sure but not while I am working. Just had to move it to the other computer!
Two Osprey at BWO, one you just see the tip of its' head.
Those are pretty flowers, Megan.
Both Osprey moved to the nest box.
CT cam is down again :(
Beautiful day out....it's up to 60.
Nice picture on Still Cam for this view too !
My grass is turning green, my sign of spring. Not much else happening yet.
The Black Hills are supposed to get hit with another bad storm starting tomorrow night. I sure hope they find the missing family soon.
Wanda, got your cartoons open...love them both! Laugh everytime I see them!!
Deb, how are they searching? Snowmobiles, choppers??? Have they found ANYTHING???
Margy, did you put our talon fly-in shot in the new album?
Yes I did, Lynn...
Also the Big Stick Pic
Both our nest.
The Fresh Food Happy Hop !
Wonder if that fish is wiggling...
A fish delivery!
'Night Glo Hope you feel better Pronto!
There is nothing encouraging about the family that is lost, Deb ....wonder if they cell phones that are pinging anywhere?
BWO is picking up in the Stick and Nesting material department today
I just checked for an update, Margy, and it is not sounding good. Authorities are interviewing family members about alleged abuse. Sure hope they are wrong, but both parents are on probation, they didn't say why.
Yes, that nest is looking full compared to yesterday. they will have to change their pictures!
I am off to enjoy the sun, rain and snow for the weekend. BBL
NO, it does not sound good...
Deb....
Enjoy the beauty of the day...
That stick in the nest looks like a Utility Pole !
Heading out..been working on outgoing mail all morning, and
"accounting." (While watching the nest OF Course !)
Hope the rest of the day is a good one..
Prayers for Mits's brother-in-law's mother and all the family, funeral this morning...

Dana, had to do that with previous version, too...but on it I had to click Yes, and now I have to click No! It has to do with making it a secure site.
Thanks Dana....I was planning on avoiding it if possible...
Awesome feeding goin' on OUR Nest..
Yes Lynn everytime I refresh I have to click "no" or the pictures don't show. I will eventually find the way to fix it. Just tired of all morning since first on not seeing our eagles.
grr I even have to do it when I type a comment lol
I think it is driving me nuts because I have cracked I'm sitting here laughing like a fool click "no" click "no" lol
Mine has always been that way, Dana. I thought everyone had to do it all the time!! I just find it hard to remember to say No now instead of Yes!!
Good afternoon everyone. I am sitting in Bluefield Hematology/ Oncology getting my iron infusion. I am so shocked they have wireless here!
Bye, now....
Our eagle sure is watching something overhead.
Well there you go! Sharon, when Paula was here she did it so fast, I was watching but you know how my old brain works...slow, if at all!
Good to See You....!
Sharon just found your comment did it. Now I am typing comment. Will publish. Then see if it has gone away. I'll let you know.
ALL GONE SHARON DID IT ... IT WORKED THANK YOU SO MUCH....THANK YOU ( :
Wow our little one is getting much better with "poop shoots" almost fully out of nest.
bbl have to gone mix up stuff for dinner
Sharon, you are so smart!!! Dana says it worked.....now I can see it, too. THANK YOU!!
Sorry about your infusion....good that they have wireless there! I've asked a couple of times, but guess you haven't seen my posts....is the anemia an expected result of the bypass?
Yeppers, worked fine for me, too! LOL...so easy when you have a smart person teaching!!
Belle called out loudly - I heard it!
Yes Lynn, the iron deficiency anemia is a direct result of my gastric bypass. Before that, I donated blood all the time, now can't keep enough for myself!
I was in the kitchen and I heard our Eagle calling. Really neat isn't it.
Sorry Sharon that your hooked to an IV. Although I am glad you knew that you needed the iron. Don't want you getting down and sick.
Thank you Dana! :)
HI ALL! How wonderful to have Live feed AND sound!
Now, wait a sec....is the Panda cam back up in Atlanta? (PLEASE SAY YES!)
Oh, yes, Geula...it came back up two weeks ago!!!!
I may FAINT! I can't believe that I missed 2 WEEEEEEEEKS!
how'd it happen???
I hear children!
Eagle at BWE w/ a nice fish.
Ospreys at BWO look like they have added some more sticks :)
Geula, I guess you just missed postings on the blog about it...we knew about 10 days in advance that it was scheduled. Guess we should have put it in momsters' mail!! SORRY!!!
It's almost tomorrow here.....This has been a WONDERFUL day! with eagles and eaglet, big pandas and little pandas!
LIFE IS GOOD!
see y'all tomorrow! (iy"h) which means If God is Willing!
OH! an eaglet POOP SHOOT! Would someone please tell that little on to be careful?
BTW, does our eaglet have a name?
No official name, yet! We have been calling it Hidey--because mom kept it well hidden for a long time; Suzanne calls it Miracle--guess because it was the only one to hatch! There has been talk of a contest, but nothing set yet!
Love that saying, geula--is that in Hebrew??
Geula, did you see Paula's video of a poop shoot over the weekend??? It is priceless! It's on her blog, I think, or maybe on momsters!! Look for it!!
Gotta go get sheets out of dryer and fold them---one of my least favorite chores!!
Have a good night, Geula--rest well! Hope we see you tomorrow!
Duke Farms in NJ cam is back on. They are finished with maintenance.
Eagle fly in our nest brought stick

Feeding Miracle/Hidey
Feeding time!
It is raining here. Parent did a short feed then laid down ontop of our chick. Maybe rain is coming to nest.
3 hrs. of ER tonight....and then FINIS!!! Will be glad when it's over....miss the old casts and storylines....but with Michael Crightons' passing, VERY fitting that it finally will be over before they can ruin it any more!
Boy as I have said before. These eagles are really hiding the eggs this year. I can only see one at PH.
Baby sure has a long neck!! The fort is really growing, too....needing a higher playpen fence to contain this rambunctious little on, I presume...LOL!
Raining here, too, Dana.
Lynn did your sound just BLAST UP LOUD?
I am getting some freezing then comes live second or two later. Sound was all jerky and hiccups but ok now.
No it is freezing picture and the sound is all messed up.
Had HP at BWO 2 Ospreys...they better learn how to build a nest. Lisa is going to have to make them two an artifical one lol
bbiaw
The nesting Hornby eagle is calling out for mate to switch I guess. I love the eagles' call.
See 2 eggs at BC Delta OWL Eagles Cam
Duke Farms NJ seen 3 eggs just now
I am home just in time for a feeding! Egrets are back in SD!!
Hidey is getting fed - Just hopped right over to the food!
Dinnerrtime for Hidey! I hear peeping!!
Well Home Health Aide was here this early pm and then the PT therapist was here. Dinner is finished and I am tired out. Going to put my leg up for a while.

Dana, I can't use the live cam today because of hughes cop! So, no, there was no sound blast on my puter..LOL!
There went the geese
Thats right Lynn I remember my comment back there. BAD Hughsnet :(
Hidey is sacked out in front of Mom...she is finally done her nestkeeping...
Osprey at BWO
You can see parents feet on the right at BWE
There is word on the missing family. It seems they decided to "run away". The man called his father today and reports that everyone is fine. The father talked to everyone. The search has not been called completely off, due to the fact that they are on parole in NE and now have warrants for their arrest.
Another stick brought in, time to build up the sides so Hidey can't get out!
More stick moving and bowl digging...moving big mounds of fluff!
Sounds like they are "on the run" Deb.
Very intriguing, Deb...keep us posted. I love a good real-life mystery:)
Yes I read an article saying they had all the camping equipment they needed. That they were on the run.
I still feel for the kids.
bbl some tv
Gonna be chilly on that boat ride!
ER retrospective starts at 8...then 2 hour finale.
Split is coming!!
Belle is reallly diggin near this end now
